When I discovered my passport was missing at my connection in London, John, the rep made calls to track it down where I left it in the tub at the security check point! He then walked with me to get it and then to re-book my flight since I had missed my scheduled flight......and there was no charge for the new flight! Unheard of in this day and age."

Other thoughts: the plane was old, my seat had a lump in it, zero entertainment, food was over priced. (3 Euro for a tiny water). This may seem petty but ultimately the appearance and function of the plane represents their company as a whole. From my first impressions, I’m thinking as a passenger is: I just hope the age and appearance of the plane isn’t reflective of their repairs and maintenance work as well."

Nadelen: "My flight was delayed for 2 hours they changed the gate # My notifications in my phone were wrong overall poor management My seat was behind a couple with two children that cried and cried and screamed during the flight, couldnt sleep not even with the headphones helped listening to those children crying. Iberia offered to check in my luggage so i can pick it up at my final destination, but my bag never made it. Had to wait two days woth no clothes or work items i needed in my luggage. Overall a very bad experience with iberia"

Voordelen: "Great crew, funny and friendly. Really enjoyed my first experience on Iberia. The Economy Plus was really nice. I wasn't expecting a preflight beverage. Nice touch."

Nadelen: "I didn't like that when I was boarding I was told I had no seat and was standby, this was very stressful, though it was eventually taken care of. I wish I'd been told earlier, they said that when you use a machine to check in, you don't find this out until boarding."

Nadelen: "When we arrived at AirPort El Dorado, we discovered that our flight was cancelled/has been changed without warning us! They scheduled us a new flight with Vianca and Iberia: Bogotá-Madrid + Madrid-Brussels. My partner and I could not sit together on any of these flights! 1 of 10 hours and of 2 hours! I would NOT recommend AA to anyone! This was full responsability of AA!"

Voordelen: "My rerun flight was overbooked so they had to find another flight for me and one other in my group of 4. Nothing was offered to make up for the inconvienience. They did manage to find a direct flight that departed s couple hours later."

Nadelen: "The people from Iberia told us to pay what we had to pay and that they'll give us our money back when we return. They payed me only for the taxi but for anything else. I lost more money than I was expecting and the people returnung the miney back to its clients were so disrespectful I really donmt want to use Iberia again."

Voordelen: "I was moved to an aisle seat b/c there was a couple that wanted to sit together. I appreciated that food was provided, but it felt very rushed. I enjoyed the in flight entertainment as it helped the time go much faster. The crew was very nice and did their best to keep passengers comfortable."
Nadelen: "The flight itself was probably the most turbulent flight i've ever been on. In addition, boarding and de-boarding took a long time. we had to just stand and wait for both - for a much much longr time that normal. They were able to make up the time in the air, but it felt unusually long to both board and de-board."

Nadelen: "I have to say with all sincerity that my pre travel experience was horrible. Two day before my flight I got an email saying my flight had changed. Over the next 2 days I spend 7 hours on the phone with Vamaya, Iberia and Finnair and no one could seem to help me. The story always changed and I was given crazy false information. I was even told my flight was changed to 8pm on departure date when it actually was leaving at 4:40 pm. I am glad I got to the airport early. I had to to deal with all my problems. In 30 years of travel I have never had an experience so frustration. I would love to speak to someone at Kayak."

Nadelen: "They change the flight departure times on connection flights three time without notifying us. Because of that, we lost a connection flight between Paris and Seville. We had to spend the night in an airport hotel and buy new tickets for a morning flight. We lost our car rental reservation and hotel reservation in Seville we made 2 months prior with the consequent 50% increase in rate when we reissue them the day of arrival. WE WERE NEVER REIMBURSED. What is worse, there customer personnel at the airports (Paris and Seville) were rude and careless. They told us to file a complaint thru the website in Spanish because they did not know the address of the English site and because they said '"in Iberia customer service, nobody reads English"."

Nadelen: "We never had the option to reserve seats. Not sure if this was because we booked thru kayak or if it was the airline but this was a long flight and I would have paid(although not happily) to get to sit next to my husband. As it was, we both got center seats separated on the plane. Very inconvenient and very uncomfortable."

Nadelen: "Iberia elected to upgrade me to business class for around 70 dollars, to which I agreed. However when boarding my plane they made me wait around for 10 minutes, finally informing me that my business ticket was downgraded to economy because of a "full flight". Which is pretty ridiculous on it's own. But it doesn't end there unfortunately. When I asked how I could get my money back for the faulty ticket they sold me, they wrongly informed me of not one, not two but three desks where they could help me. After running around the airport for about an hour, and having equally useless conversations each receptionist basically told me I was out of luck and I should just call customer support and beg for my money back. So here I am, I basically feel stolen from. As far as I'm concerned I will be willing to go completely out of my way to avoid Iberia Airlines."

Nadelen: "My wife needs a wheelchair. Iberia's services for the disabled does not seem very organized. They parked us in a drafty foyer for over an hour. They took us to the gate after boarding had started--we would have been better without asking for assistance and just making everyone else wait for us."

Nadelen: "I have booked with 2 checked in baggage pieces. On check in I was told no baggage was paid and I had to pay 100€ for the baggage."

Nadelen: "Charged £60 for hold luggage because the airline’s unstable website wouldn’t allow me to book in advance (£20 extra in the airport). Plane was delayed because they were late allowing passengers to board and missed the runway slot. Seats were uncomfortable - it was an older airframe."

Voordelen: "The added touches make all the difference! We didn’t expect free food and was delighted to receive breakfast. The chairs were much more comfortable than any other plane I’ve been on due to the adjustable head rest, and as a regular flyer to Cyprus, this made a difference. The sweets served just before landing is an excellent idea and something that we do need due to our ears, so this was appreciated. staff were attentive and pleasant."

Voordelen: "They are more professional and helpful. Really seemed like they knew what they were doing. The flight crew was accommodating and polite. The plane was very comfortable"

Nadelen: "7hour delayin onnecting flight! Seats on plane torn and very uncomfortable, meal booked but no food available."

Nadelen: "Flight was rescheduled for 3 hours later than original departure. Check in opened less than two hours before the rescheduled flight time so everyone was stuck waiting at check-in for hours. We couldnt even go in and relax inside at restaurants or the gate because online check in wasnt available. Then the flight was further delayed with no news about when the new take off would be or why the delay. Finally boarded a tiny plane that had propellers and a loud take off, if you easily fright on planes probably not the best choice for you. And then someone started smoking on the flight and the attendants had to announce again that smoking wasnt allowed. On and off throughout the flight it smelled like someone was smoking so I wonder if it was even coming from the cockpit."

We queued for 1.5 Hours to then be blocked as all six counters were given over to another flight and people who arrived LATER then us for our flight got to go first. It was incredibly stressful and frustrating especially when I checked in online before arriving at the airport. We had to rush and run through the airport and board at final call. In fact it would put me off flying with Blue Air again."

Nadelen: "The fact our original flight was cancelled and we were delayed by 7.5 hours. They communication from the airport crew was little to non and flight time changed 4 times. They even told us difinitively that we would board at a certain time only for us to actually board nearly 2 hours later. They, without a doubt, knew the rescheduled flight time but strung us on anyway - I believe this was so they could save money on hotels"

When we finally get to FRA, there’s no machinery to get us out of the plane because it was broken. We had to wait for them to find some stairs and then take a shuttle while raining to the airport inside."

Nadelen: "The seats were terrible for me ( i’m 6.4 194 c’m broad) although we paid extra $95 /seat I approached Torresin Lorella Chief purser , she was helpless , and from that moment I never saw her till the end of the flight. i really want my money back ! Her entire management of the service was very poor compared to other airlines Zvi and Judith Yaniv"

Nadelen: "Audacious prices for checked luggage. If you pay online prior to check-in €25 per bag If you pay at check in it is €45 per bag. This is downright theft by all the airlines who engage in this very profitable but nefarious activity and really needs to be stopped. First bag should be free/ nominal charge or at least part of the ticket price. (It is like a restaurant charging for cutlery and plates so you can eat . Would that be acceptable??)"

Nadelen: "Horrible experience with Alitalia. They boarded us on a plane that had a wheel issue, and kept us on the ground for 2 hours before they decided to de-plane us. We then had to wait in a 5+ HOUR LINE to get rerouted (nope, they won't handle these issues online or over the phone, you have to wait in line). And THEN they wanted us to wait in a 2 hour line to re-drop off our bags. We got stuck overnight in Rome and were put in a horrible Hilton Garden Inn and barely made it in time to use our coupon for a "free meal" (aka, frozen meatballs and stale bread in a buffet that had been sitting out all night). On our flight back, the food was absolutely terrible, the movie selections were old and scarce, and the seats were uncomfortable. We called to complain as soon as we got home and still have not heard back from Alitalia. I will never fly with them again."

Voordelen: "Crew was ok.."
Nadelen: "Legroom inside the aircraft is too small. Salted and sweet snack options including cookies. This is on a two hour flight. Very uncomfortable journey"

Nadelen: "See above. This scam is not acceptable. You should be ashamed. I demand my money back for paying twice for baggage, including the airport fee. I will be going to the media re this scam and seeing if I can start a class action."

Nadelen: "We paid for bags. Called to check the bags were included and on a technicality alitila charged for bags again. When we asked why, we were told this happens all the time. It seems alitila relays on this to rip of foreigners. This is despicable. This happened twice from two different booking companies and only with Alitalia. I will follow this up next week."

Voordelen: "Nothing..."
Nadelen: "Late boarding Rude crew Bad service Lost my luggage"

Nadelen: "The plane was boarded early and then the flight ended up being delayed an hour. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and the leg room almost nonexistent. It was difficult to move at all for this 12 hour flight. I am not very tall at only 5'7" and I am slim. Also, the lunch was worse than any I've ever had."

Voordelen: "Really comfy headrests and blankets. Easiest plane I've slept on by far."
Nadelen: "Headset wasn't working so I could watch tv or listen to music."

Voordelen: "Almost nothing"
Nadelen: "- Rude crew - Uncomfortable seats - Broken seats - Missed our order for Vegan meals"

Nadelen: "One of the entertainment systems was in disrepair. The headphone jack was jammed and the USB charge port was broken."

Voordelen: "Flight was fine"
Nadelen: "They changed my lay over from 1.5 hours to 5.5 hours. On the way over they changed flight 7 hours I wouldn't have gotten to my hotel until a day later. I had to rebook with another airline. Still not sure they will return fare. Used Webjet will never use again!!"

Nadelen: "delay without clear indication"

Voordelen: "Staff was friendly."
Nadelen: "The flight attendant at the check in said our luggage was too big and needed to be checked. We got a ticket from her but when we got to the plane nobody said anything and we simply did what we had done all the previous flights we have ever taken, we stowed them in the overhead bins. The flight wasn't full and in fact some overhead bins were completely empty, but I guess she had her job to do and thought it wouldn't fit, but maybe she could have asked if we had used it before. I don't know why they say it's too big when we had been traveling throughout Europe for almost a month and had taken it on 4-5 flights and many other trips. It all worked out. Footnote Air France never made a issue of the exact same baggage that Alitalia said was to big. The bags fit fine on all airlines we have traveled. The flight was delayed 45 minutes which made my connection a bit tight. I was connecting to Air France which is part of The SkyTeam alliance comprises with Alitalia but my luggage could not be moved to the Flight to LAX so I had to get the bag I did check and go through the process all over again."

Voordelen: "The flight departed on time and arrived 35 minutes early. The flight crew was very helpful onboard."
Nadelen: "Tried to upgrade my elderly parents to more comfortable seats when checking in, but was told the flight was full and there were none available. It didn't appear that way after being boarded and seated."

Nadelen: "The lost my suitcases"

Nadelen: "I tried to talk with the service desk to change my flight before the flight and the service team could not help me out because only the service desk outside security could look up other fights. I find this hard to believe and a little ridiculous that AirItalia would make their customers run around inside and outside security to switch flights. We live in a day of technology and have computers for a reason. There shouldn't be an issue why other flights can be looked up from only one computer. In addition, we boarded the plane and then we waited on the tarmac for 2 hours waiting to leave. The air was turned off and it was hot and stuffy inside the plane."

Voordelen: "Easy booking and boarding. Flights on-time very nice catching next flight in and hour and have to go through customs and change tefminals. Didnt feel extra anxiety about catching next plane"
Nadelen: "Our entire row of inflight entertainment was not working. It wasnt a huge deal but it would have been nice on an international flight LAX to Rome 11+hours. Also limited drink options. Water or cola from bottle and sm serving sizes. It would have been nice to have option of can or cup."

Voordelen: "More leg space."
Nadelen: "No tv screen"

Voordelen: "The food was great and they provide plenty and the entertainment was awesome"
Nadelen: "The comfort of the flight for 10 hours in economy was horrible: it's just to cramped. I would only fly first class in the future for long flights. For a better idea: I'm only 5'2 and 160lbs."

Voordelen: "Check in easy."
Nadelen: "Two hour weather delay Impossible European connection (which I somehow made) No luggage (it didn't make connection)"

Nadelen: "staff was nice, lost my luggage, and it was 8 hours late, i paid 2x to leave earlier, and got in later than the cheapest flight"

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Late! connections no good! no information about flight changes!"

Voordelen: "80 euro return from MLA to Rome, including bags. A snack & drink provided. Beat ryanair hands down!"

Nadelen: "Alitalia is a Bullshit company, we were late to our connection because of the air line, they told us the next flight is waiting for us, but they didn't... We got tickets to the next flight with no compensation and they lost our snowboard case."

Voordelen: "The experience was as good as one can expect a quick flight to be."

Nadelen: "Purchased ticket through Kiwi. Never will use them again. EVER! The "E ticket" didnt have: Terminal Carrier i.e. Air Italia The flight numbers Any record or reference number the airline(s) could use. Could not purchase a bag and had to pay extra at the airport Whilst clearing security Air France pulled me out of line found me to be 1 killo over, and air Italia demanded another 75 euros. Not the first time this has happened. I pointed out numerous french people passing with very heavy bags and indeed helped several women lift 20+ kilo bags on the flight into the overhead bin on this flight and others. They all were french and never were they stopped with their heavy bags "Oh" the "security" guy said "I thought you were English!" "Not so" said this Irishman "And you are racist". To no avail and all part of Air france's business plan to charge the dreaded Estranger extra. Never again will I fly Air France. Id rather take a train, drive or even walk. Very bad experience start to finish and yes so very Air France; well Air Italia too.."

Nadelen: "DELAY on the FLIGHT back"

Nadelen: "Not one single Mandarin speaking flight attendant on board. Alitalia delayed my luggage and they have worst customer service where ppl don't know what's going on. 10 days have passed and my luggage is still not back to me yet. WORST airline I've taken!!"

Voordelen: "The check in service was helpful."

Voordelen: "I liked that the plan was not very full"
Nadelen: "boarding the airplane via a bus took a long time and is not very family friendly"

Voordelen: "on time and reliable."
Nadelen: "Some crew are not very happy to served clients. They just do their job to earn their livings but they have no service mind. It is absurd that we had to thank them and got no response back. Does Alitalia start hiring robots? Unlike Etihad, Alitalia needs a huge room of improvement for customer service. Very poor service. We will not fly Alitalia again."

Nadelen: "Air Berlin was not helpful in rebooking another flight to Venice so that we could get there in time to get our cruise ship."

Nadelen: "Worst crew ever. Arrogant, aggressive,continously hit passengers with the cart etc"

Voordelen: "Friendly crew."
Nadelen: "bus ride from plane to terminal - it was packed and it was a really warm day and no air conditioning."

Nadelen: "Priority boarding has to be to the aircraft and not to the bus."

Voordelen: "Amazing"

Nadelen: "They did not even offer water to drink for free."

Nadelen: "My luggage was lost and still haven't received it. Very disappointed in the service."

Nadelen: "i went to the (galley?) at the back and politely requested a drink, a member of staff refused me because they were just about to begin serving drinks. that's stupid. i was sat right at the back of the plane and wouldn't get a drink for at least 20 minutes because service starts in the middle and works back. fortunately another member of staff (older, female) just reached over and handed me a drink, because she understood it was easier and quicker and more reasonable to do that than to be a dick about it."

Nadelen: "Rows are very close together. We were packed in like sardines. Stewardesses prevent people from going to the toilets in the back when they are serving, and do not allow access to the toilet in the front. Not "user-friendly"."

Nadelen: "Not allowing free seat selection when the ticket is purchased."

Nadelen: "Old plane. Seats couldn't be adjusted. Had to take a bus to board the plane."

Nadelen: "Could not get my boarding pass before reaching my last terminal because it was not ready from Montreal or Toronto, and no staff were available elsewhere in the airport. this prevented me from making necessary purchases to bring with me to Kinshasa, my final destination."

Nadelen: "Had to change a tire on the plane - they checked us through at the gate but didn't allow us on the plane - which makes sense. However, they should have NOT checked us through at the gate. Dozens stood for over a half hour waiting to move forward. They wouldn't let us back into the gate area to sit. Poor planning"

Nadelen: "Never flew it; had to transfer to Lufthansa flights."

Voordelen: "Thanks to formula b.family we had priority when boarding. The Kids were offered a present on board."

Nadelen: "EXCELLENT SERVICE"

Voordelen: "Zaventem airport remains too difficult , which really makes the trip less enjoyable."

Nadelen: "boarding was later then it should be, also when the boarding starts everything was super slow, and they try to put all people from one plane to one bus ..in the end when was completely crowded and there were a few people that really can't get in because there was no space left, finally they bring another bus for them... Our departure was late and we were half hour later in Warsaw."
