I liked the special touches such as the small snack and water bar available throughout the flight, and the breakfast Kumamon special. Clean bathrooms are very very appreciated."
Nadelen: "The only bad experience was when we were boarding, and I asked whether I could take a newspaper and the business class flight attendant snidely said that it was only for business class. I understand the comment, but her expression and tone were unnecessary."

Voordelen: "delicious meals with good drink selections. cabin crews were nice and have smiles on them all time. I saw crew provided excellent services to a young mom traveled with 1 kid and 1 infant with her mom on board throughout the whole flight which were impressive."
Nadelen: "I believe the air line cut down snacks between meals (my flight were 13 hours) which was little disappointed. Restrooms were not as clean as before although they were way better than other airlines. Crew's English speaking still need improvement. Please keep up the good works! I will flight JAL again soon."

Nadelen: "I'm an entertainer, very well respected in Hawaii, Japan and the world. and has always traveled JAL. I travel with my guitar and has never had a problem carrying it on board. The staff will usually come a get it and put it in the closet if it didn't fit in the overhead. But I guess recently rules change, and was told I would have to check it in because the closet space is used only for staff and business people. Was told that the 737 was to small for my guitar won't fit overhead. I have taken 737's all my life with Aloha Airlines and told them that my guitar would fit. That gentleman was a JERK! and was'nt very helpful, and told me I couldn't take it on board and I would have to take it to the package store and have them box it up. That spoiled my whole vacation."

Nadelen: "the only thing was this flight was delayed and we missed the flight at LAX, but JAL reserved a hotel room near by for us so that we were able to refresh ourselves and relax till the next flight. thank you JAL!"

Voordelen: "The crew was great although I needed to ask them for my meal cause they passed by me. They thought I had my meal already which I didn’t. I don’t think they did it on purpose so it was just misunderstanding. My flight was on SQ 38 from Singapore to LAX on October 30 2019 Other than that. All is amazing. I will still highly recommend Singapore Airlines to other people."

Nadelen: "This time Singapore Airlines Staff seem to be not so helpful. Previously they were happy to help with smiling face and approachable immediately. This time in spite of asking for help in the cabin no one turned up even after multiple requests. I could only get help when someone one walks next to me."

Voordelen: "Amazing, amazing service! Great food (including Hagen Daaz ice cream) and good choice of beverages. Lots of different entertainment choices. VERY clean and well maintained aircraft. Staff is always friendly and happy...they really seem to absolutely love their job! Free toiletries in the bathrooms are an extra plus. Whenever there was a change in schedule / plans the captain informed the passengers immediately about what was going on and what would happen next."
Nadelen: "The only thing that did and probably always will be AWFUL is going thru security at JFK. The T S A officials there are unfriendly, sometimes rude, never smiling and often yelling at you or even little kids or elderly people. We are travelling a lot and no other security staff at any given airport is so unfriendly and harsh. Worst thing about going on a journey."

They gave her a toy, asked for her name, and checked on us often. They also gave my husband and I an option for early food service so that one of us could help our daughter eat. The movie selection was great. Take off, flight and landing were smooth. And we arrive half an hour early both directions!"

At any time I was supported by the staff and even if it was busy they constantly had a kindness and smile in their face. I don't fly with any other airline on long distance flights! It was clean and neat on top at any time. I love flying with Singapore airlines. I feel safe and in good hands all around. This is how service should be at any airline! It is never less good but a constant since years! Thank you"

Voordelen: "The food, the seating, the upgrade, the very polite and attentive staff. I thanked them, and for that, they gave me a hand written note and a set of cards. So sweet. Totally worth it to fly Singapore."
Nadelen: "I didn't like how Vayasan and Singapore airlines telephone check in both claimed they could not upgrade. It was part of the policy/seating I bought. They were wrong, the airlines at San Francisco airport did it without blinking, after checking my visa status."

Nadelen: "The woman behind me kept insisting that I keep my chair in the upright position. With two crying babies on the plane, I was trying to relax and sleep as much as possible on the 12.5 hr flight. What bothered me even more is that when the woman asked the flight attendant to tell me to put my seat up, the flight attendant complied instead of telling the woman it was my seat to do as I wished. Why make the seats recline if they are going to bother the people behind? Why tell me to put my seat up if it was not a requirement for all (ie during take off or landing)? I did not appreciate this and it made my flight extremely uncomfortable."

Nadelen: "I carried the same exact baggage from my SFO-DXB flight into DXB-MAA flight but was still charged excess baggage. Even after being asked to checkin my luggage I found that I could carry it in and there was more than enough space to accomodate everyone."

Voordelen: "Personnel were nice - seems like there were too many people to really have them pay attention to anyone. Plane was clean overall, entertainment is good."
Nadelen: "We departed late and arrived at least 30-40 mins late. Crowded plane. I was very uncomfortable, the person sitting next to me took up space and was not very friendly. Bathrooms were not so clean at times (this may not necessarily be the airline’s fault)."

Nadelen: "If you sit towards the back of the plane, you risk not being served at all due to the short flight. If you are served, you get 10 minutes to eat before they have to pick up the trays."

Nadelen: "I'm desapointed with first flight with Emirates. Having travelled with various airlines, i was expecting a much better service on board. 15 min waiting on a call for the cabin crew to answer and separately banquets and pillows who stinks."

Seating was awfully I am 6'3" did not fit in middle seat requested several times for isle seat my legs were sticking out each time I have to get up to let pass the passengers and staff safety hazard. Have to pay additional 70 pounds sterling for under 3kg."

Nadelen: "It was operated by an alliance air company but I bought thru American Airlines, I even didn't know that was a coshare because I started the first leg with American, once it got cancelled they said that they couldn't do anything, and the other company said that the ticked was issued by American, nightmare. BTW I'm a Platinium member of American Airlines, what thy should at least give a little attention since I fly every month."

Voordelen: "A free upgrade to premium economy - I think the flight was over booked."

Nadelen: "The cushions were uncomfortable for a 14 hr trip. Not much choices in food. The omelette was bland."

Nadelen: "Plane got delayed for an hour, WITHOUT any air conditioning. I forgot what the captain said about the HKG airport not capable of providing air conditioning to the plane. Anyway, I began sweating after 10 mins, and it sucks."

Voordelen: "Flight attendant spoke good Mandarin and was willing to continue to speak it even to someone who didn't look like a Chinese speaker - unlike some Chinese airlines where they launch into English assuming that if you don't look Chinese you can't speak Chinese."
Nadelen: "A glass of wine or beer would have been lovely."

Nadelen: "As above. Total failure by Cathay pacific. We were abandoned."

Nadelen: "We were scammed by Kayak and Cathay Pacific. We had entered all our information correctly: first, middle, and last name. Cathay Pacific did not print the middle name of the boarding pass. Apparently, Hong Kong is strictly on the passport exactly matching the boarding pass. We were stopped before security and Cathay Pacific decided it was the perfect opportunity to charge us $400 for a rebooking instead of amending the name, which we had entered correctly in the first place. We were pushed back and forth between kayak and cathay when kayak told us they weren't able to change the name on the day of the flight. Will never fly cathay or book from kayak again."

Nadelen: "The temperature was around 18 degrees.i asked several times if they can adjust it to normal the crew kept saying we will ask to pilot etc.no improvement. While facing covid i dont want to get cold!! Secondly no one checked for covid results while boarding and/or on check-in kiosks.i asked during boarding why they are not checking the reports the answer was they thought we had been checked during check-in.totaly fiasco and no alignement.i didnt want to get in a plane people with covid!!"

Voordelen: "Fortunately I was in an exit row, so I had legroom. Other seats were not very spacious."
Nadelen: "Arrived SF almost an hour late, then took an hour for luggage to arrive so we missed our next flight."

Nadelen: "No snacks or water except in the back of the plane. It felt like I was bothering the flight attendants when I went back to get a snack. Most good international flights place snacks in the galleys with drinks so you can grab yourself at any point at your discretion."
