Nothing in the email said which terminal the flight would depart from or that it was actually turkish airlines. Very irresponsible and communication for customers should be much clearer. Luckily we were very early for the flight or it could have caused a serious problem."

Voordelen: "The original flight was canceled, the stroller was taken away when boarded the airplane, and not seen until final destination. With a 1-year-old and 2 and a half year old, this was the worst ever flight. Take us 35 hours total travel time to get home with 2 small kids, it is a nightmare."
Nadelen: "The flight was cancelled and changed to 2 stops from one. We purchased a 1 stop flight because of the kids. In mid season a week before departure, we were notified about the change and it was impossible to get a same priced ticket so close to departure. We bought insurance but even with that was impossible. Looks like a scam. Very upsetting, messed up the whole thing."

Nadelen: "We had to sit on the runway for a very long time after landing and I missed my connecting flight. It also took a very long time to get a hotel assignment because I was stuck in Chicago overnight. The finnair air agents at ohare were not very understanding or helpful. I was sent from their line to American Airlines and then back again. They were slow. We waited in the line for a long time for someone to come and help us. overall they were not very apologetic regarding the fact that I was stuck there overnight. It took soooo long to get to the hotel. I arrived there well after midnight. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY FLIGHTS ARE BOOKED SO CLOSE TOGETHER. NO LAYOVER TIME IN BETWEEN MEANS MISSED CONNECTIONS! THIS HAPPENED BOTH WAYS ON MY TRIP. VERY ANNOYING"

Nadelen: "Sitting behind me plus the seat across from that in center was an adult with two children going to summer camp in US. There were 40 kids and several counselors on this flight. These two kids were much younger (4 or 5yrs) than any others going to camp. One of the kids could not sit still. The adult behind me sometimes held her in her lap which resulted in pushing on my seatback. While in her own seat the child did not have her seat belt on. Eventually the girl began using her arm rests on either side of the aisle to swing herself. I finally mentioned this and the lack of seat belt fastening to F.A. who said "They're from Latvia. These Eastern Europeans don't think about things the way you and I do." The child was blocking the aisle at times and the F.A. did nothing."

Voordelen: "World best airline since my last flight to Hong Kong. New aircraft with the most confortable and complete flight experience I had in years in economy class. Seat confort, movie selection and quality of the screen, food quality, boarding speed, cabine pressure, all was immaculate."
Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."

Nadelen: "The flight was 1 1/2 hrs late!!!! This seems to be a regular pattern from what I understand from others who have travelled the same itinerary. Not good if this becomes your reputation. The crew was not very attentive during good service. It was more of a routine / rush job rather than making sure that everybody was served and got what they needed ( had to ask for my dinner as my row was skipped and was never offered coffee before landing). The crew seemed rather young and inexperienced. The food was below average!!!! Especially the chicken patty before landing - seriously!!!!! Why not include a little bit of Finnish / Scandinavian cuisine to emphasize the Finnair brand!!! Entertainment was also below average. There needs to be more variety - especially for the TV selection, which had only 2 options!!! No music and no games?? Also, it would be nice to have access to a flight map. Too few accessible WCs"

Nadelen: "The sound was out on my chair, so there was no sound to the movies. The food was really kind of junky and I decided against eating most of it so I wouldn't make myself sick. The meals could really do with more produce and a few more vegan options."

Voordelen: "Food was provided when the flight was delayed for 2 1/2 hours. I also really liked the text update from kayak about the delay. The airline did not keep me updated but kayak did."
Nadelen: "The delay when it was already a 6 hour flight. I also was not able to reserve a seat because I had booked through kayak and not with the airline. Finally of the most irritating of all annoyance was that there was no movie. This was an international flight and there was no entertainment. I will never fly American Airlines again."

Voordelen: "The Iberia plane had a new interior, and possibly was a new plane. The new thinner padding on plane seats was not a problem at all. The crew was friendly and let me switch to a different seat that had an empty one beside it so I could stretch out more. A great flight."

Nadelen: "Because the flight was through british airways, extra baggage was $90 much more expensive than Finnair's prices. After paying that before departure to London I recieved an email from British Airways that stated an extra bag for both my flight to London and return flight to San Francisco had been fully paid for. At the airport I was told by British Airways employees that I would have to pay another $90 regardless of what my email said because their official prices are $90 each way not both. I showed them the confirmation I had recieved and all they could say was "that is confusing". There was very little empathy or attempt to help. I'm sure the 3 children on board had a great time watching it. 2 bathrooms on a 9-hour flight for the entire coach cabin? One of which was near the front. Can you guess what the plane smelled like by the time we landed? Let's discuss the fact that passengers had to be "shuttled" to the plane because of construction. I paid additional for Group 1 boarding, so great I got to get on the shuttle first. Those that came after me also were the last to board the shuttle and the first to get on the plane. Thanks, American, for showing me again why I use you as a last resort. Had I known it was American and NOT Finnair, as I purchased it, I would have re-thought my purchase."

Nadelen: "This flight was operated by BA. Seats were incredibly uncomfortable. When the guy in front of me reclined his head was practically in my lap. TV's were crappy and the in-flight selection was mediocre. In flights announcements were very loud through headphones."

Nadelen: "We paid extra for seat selection which was supposed to be a window seat and ended up in middle seat... not acceptable..."

Nadelen: "It is absolutely ridiculous that they made us pay $100 each way for our ski bag/equipment. I will never fly either airline again. Horrible customer service as well. The airplane and its entertainment system is quite antiquated and needs to be updated. Horrible experience."

Voordelen: "I last traveled on British Airways in May of last year (2015) and the food was beyond dreadful. Therefore I was very pleasantly surprised that there has been a huge improvement. They were very generous with the drinks and the food was plentiful and quite a reasonable standard for airline food (they gave two full meals from San Francisco to London, whereas most airlines give one meal and one snack on that route). They actually checked us in on the earlier side, we took off very promptly and got to London early. It was nice to be on time for a change - so often I find airlines run a bit late. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Pilot's messages were pleasant, friendly and even a bit informative."
Nadelen: "Web check-in ahead of time was a total disaster. I got an email telling me I could check in 36 hours early and "secure a good seat" but neither of the 2 sets of codes they provided in the email would work because it was all about Finnair but actually the flight was being run by British Airways. I spent about 30 minutes on the 'phone trying to get the appropriate sequence of numbers and letters to enter so as to check in and get a good seat - still nothing worked. This was at 5:45am - I regretted the time spent when I could have gone back to sleep. My daughter later spent a further 90 minutes trying to figure it out, only to be told finally that our only option was to get to the airport early and check n there which was what we did. It was beyond irksome. Please note, if the airline actually flying is different fro the booking airline, the locator number for check n will be DIFFERENT and needs to be provided to the customer to avoid a great deal of hassle and confusion. We gt particularly unlucky because BA computers had a glitch that day but the general point still stands."

Voordelen: "Entertainment choices were good."
Nadelen: "The flight attendants were noisy, walking back and forth, so it was hard to rest, more like stomping. Was not pleased with flight attendant who served me, was kinda cocky and not friendly, which spoiled the customer service experience. Not enough leg room, cramped. Wish they had decaf tea. Other than that we arrived safely, so I'm very appreciative."

Nadelen: "Extremely unsatisfying, to the point of not wanting to fly BA again. If I had not had previous satisfaction with Kayak on other flights, I might not use it again. They my bags for 3 days and had hideous communication about it. Had no feeling that anyone could be reached about or that anyone cared at all. Late takeoff again. There was an impossible amount of time left under even the best curcumstances, to go from one flight to another, resulting in flight being missed and being sent to another city and losing my money on ground transport that was prepaid. The communication issue is the worst of it all. Massively frustrating."

Nadelen: "Luggage didn’t arrive and was left behind during connection flight. Who knows when I’ll receive it."

Nadelen: "This 747 should be refurbished or retired. I've traveled this flight on 777s and newer 747s. This plane was an embarassment."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed by 2 hours. Then they bumped us out of the seats we had reserved. Made it just in time for our connection. Then they bumped us from that flight. Others were given generous compensation for that bump. However we were given nothing. At least they us we could rest in the BA lounge because I am elderly and disabled and we would have a 9 hour wait. Got to the lounge and we were not listed in the system. So we were denied entrance. We will have have spent 2 nights on a plane and 36 hours instead of one night and 16 hours. Rotten way to depend your 50th anniversary."

Voordelen: "It left on time."
Nadelen: "It was American airlines not BA. British airways never sent our bags on our flight leaving Gatwick. We got our luggage 2 days later."

Voordelen: "I require a wheelchair for getting around the airport. When I first checked in at LHR, they claimed to have no record of my wheelchair request and my seat change, despite my very clear notations of who and when these were made. They did have a record of my paying for one suitcase. The agent at LHR promised to make these corrections so I would not have the same problem when returning to London. Furthermore, to turn this into a humiliating situation, at the gate I was informed that the jetway was broken and they would have to find some other way to get me onboard the plane. I cannot believe that British Airways has no contingency plan for a situation like mine. After many discussions between BA reps and ground crewmen they decided to bring me down in a lift at Gate 34, though my plane was at Gate 32. I was then loaded onto the freight platform of one of those food delivery trucks and driven over to my plane. The truck backed into place and again I hoisted up to the plane. However the plane door was locked and we had to bang on it for them to finally open it. To my great embarrassment I helped down the aisle to my assigned seat, looking back at the curious looks and glares from all those passengers who had no explanation for the delay and humiliating scene. Officially the flight was listed at 28 minutes late, when in reality it was 40 minutes till we taxied away from the gate My return flight from Brussels was little better because the changes that were supposed to have been entered at LHR never were and so I had to go through this whole routine again costing me over one hour in delays. Fortunately I was able to board the flight through the jetway and did not have to be hoisted up again, and delivered like freight. How would you rate these flights. I had problems with every single British Airways flight!!"

Voordelen: "Extended information from the captain was very nice"

Nadelen: "My luggage then didn't make it to Ibiza in time because it got stuck in London due to my short layover. If BA can't figure out how to get the luggage transferred within that short of a period, they should not offer flights that close to each other. Secondly, I left a really nice down pillow and bag on my flight from London to Ibiza and I checked the lost in found at the Ibiza airport"

Voordelen: "Got food poisoning from flight or Italian restaurant at terminal 3"

Voordelen: "the plane was clean"
Nadelen: "3 hour delay, no communication with customers regarding delay or connection. Once we finally arrived st Heathrow for the 2nd leg of our journey, we were put on a later connection, no apologies whatsoever from any of the employees. Overall we spent over 4 hours in the air. We were never served even a glass of water or a bag of pretzels. The seats were very tight with very little leg room, and I am only a 5'6" female."

Nadelen: "Boarding the plane. I do not know why the airlines load the people who are at the front of the plane first. Load the people on the back of the plane first. That way, when you call the next section, the people in the back are not blocking people as they enter. An alternative is to call people in sections based on where they sit in a row. If you have window seat, you should be called first. Why? Because so many passengers who have aisle seats have to get up to let people with middle or window seats get in. So, they hold traffic up as people are trying to get to their seats. After window seat passengers get called, then call middle seat passengers, and last, call aisle seat passengers."

Voordelen: "I was prepared with my smart phone and iPad and external batteries, turns out I needed none of those things! What a pleasant surprise for the in flight movies, music and tv to be perfect. I didn't even have to use my external battery on the flight because there is a perfect USB port in the screen in front of you. The food was as good as airplane good gets, the plane incredibly comfortable and staff was attentive. I don't love the long flights but this BA flight is now my go to anytime Im headed to Europe."

Voordelen: "Al parts of flight expertly handled by staff, especially cabin people. Thanks for a great flight, VA."

Nadelen: "You had to pay for your drinks! How cheap! Also, they spent a significant amount of time trying to get your to shop after they tried to sell you the drinks. I used to love the quality of British Air. I'll use other options in the future."

Nadelen: "The seats on this British Airways flight were so tight and pitched forward that my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me and I felt as if I was being launched forward the entire flight. Not comfortable or safe."

Voordelen: "I wish the menu can be more kid friendly. I enjoy the food no my kiddos"

Voordelen: "good connection, regardless a small delay I made my connection"
Nadelen: "Online check-in was not possible, neither on ba.com nor on aer lingus (flight was operated by aer lingus). I had not possibility to choose a seat. I called are lingus consumers services who said this was due to the fact, that I had a BA booking. At the airport I was told most seat were pre-reservered. There was no indication during the booking process that this might be the case. The plane was rather small, with litte space. I am rather small person and had difficulties."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed for 2 hours in Airbus 777 full of passengers. The reason was to fix some light and administrative error on a log book. This could have been prevented if they had done all of the checks beforehand. All of those passengers stuck in a plane during a pandemic. Not very smart !!!!"

Nadelen: "Hot meals and inflight entertainment. No even drinks were served."

We were delayed approximately 4 hours total. Had to take a taxi ($85) to Fajardo to HOPEFULLY catch last ferry to Culebra. Guess AmericansAirlines doesn’t care if you have to sleep at the dock!"

Nadelen: "Dallas to San Juan San Juan Dallas American Airlines has the worst seat of any airline flown by us fare almost 2000 dollars for round trip and the seat is small hard uncomfortable even for a short flight this is no business class!!"

My bag fit the meassurements and still was forced to check it (which I did not want to do as I did not want to be waiting an hour for my bag at my arrival as I had work early the next day. In addition there was airplaine traffic as it was "rush hour" instead of flying at 7:45 we departed almost at 9pm!!!! Have to pay for food Quality of tv monitors very poor And in an uncomfortable position No movie options No wifi although stated the aircraft has Non functioning electrical plug"
