Flight left Denpasar on time and arrived in Auckland some 30 mins early, which was nice. Enjoyed a late dinner - the mie goreng ayam was particularly tasty!"
Nadelen: "In the past on overnight flights Emirates I have received a pyjama set in the Business Class, which made it very comfortable to sleep. But this time this was not given, so I had to sleep in my day-wear, which was a bit uncomformtable."

Voordelen: "The departure and return flight time, for the price I paid, I felt like I was in more than an economy flight. The meal, the baggage quota, the entertainment. The time flew because by the time the movie had finished, we were starting to descend. I will always look for this flight with Emirates. There is no other flight in comparison, in what you get for your Buck. I believe that other Airlines, ie., Qantas, Virgin Aust, both give you a flight and service, for nearly the same fare but you only get 7kg luggage, no meal just the basic entitlement, tea/coffe/water with a biscuit or something like that and NO ENTERTAINMENT, NO COMPARISON!!!!"

Nadelen: "They recently started charging unnecessary excess fees for overweight. I traveled from Seattle to Hyderabad via Dubai. I carried my cabin bag from Seattle with weight of 9kgs and purchased few duty free items of 2kgs(2 liquor bottles and1 dates box). They have asked me to pay $150 for excess weight. One passenger traveled from Houston with a bag of 11kgs. Items include 1 laptop documents and tablet. She didn't shop in Dubai. She was allowed in Houston but was charged $100 in Dubai for same weight."

Nadelen: "Er was een vertraging van bij 1,5 uur, maar er is niet over gecommuniceerd."

Voordelen: "Food is terrible. Not what it used to be. Don't keep the bathrooms clean as they used to. Service just isn't as great as it used to be sadly. Entertainment is great tho!"

Nadelen: "worst crew i have ever encountered in spite of repeatedly calling them they just completely ignored my calls served me wrong food and when i said i needed a veg meal they said they could only serve if it was pre-booked when i showed them my pre-booking details on my cell they agreed to serve me one. Very disinterested crew in serving the guests badly managed from my early, also the pizza slice emitrates serves is a non veg pizza its clearly written on the box preparation may include eggs fish etc.. and they did not have any substitute for the same. Multiple passengers kept on disturbing me and asking me to shift my seat even when i was sleeping and the crew did nothing about it because of this experience i would not choose to fly emirates again"

Nadelen: "Hard to hear the announcements."

Voordelen: "The entertainment, seats, and food were all good."
Nadelen: "My only complaint would be that I didn't feel the crew members were around unless food was being served. I got up and asked for water twice, and at one point I woke up to find I had just missed the serving of a snack but when I rang my bell for a crew member to come over no one ever stopped by."

Nadelen: "We vertrokken met vertraging. We konden maar net op tijd het boarden van de volgende vlucht halen."

Nadelen: "The ONLY thing I hate about Turkish Airlines is the necessity to go through security in Istanbul when you're in transit on an international flight. Not only do you have to go through security again - with the serious chance of missing a connection - but if it's a flight to the USA, there is serious additional security at the gate. Surely this is enough."

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Voordelen: "Food was very good, and staff friendly and helpful. They had drinks and sandwiches/onigiri on offer at the galley areas entire trip, only did not come to offer them very often. Entertainment systems were great."
Nadelen: "Boarding was orderly but a bit long. In general very well managed."

Nadelen: "The seat spacing on that flight was some of the tightest I have ever seen - worse than even most of the short-haul (Embraer) flights i have been on - barely manageable for 3.5 hours. Flight attendants were borderline rude and bossy, but they had to be, because the passengers were loud and unruly."

Voordelen: "The crew is very attentive, although at times lacks some foresight in dealing with passengers. The aircraft was quite new and clean. The entertainment system was outstanding and the food good, although a downgrade from THY experiences from a few years ago."
Nadelen: "The passengers on some Turkey--US flights are hilariously terrible. People getting up during landing, littering in the plane, clogging toilets, creating spills, NEVER listening to announcements made by the crew, etc. It's essentially a zoo. I sat by a bulkhead seat, and I had maybe 200 people push by my feet, step on them, knock around my shoes and TV console during the flight. It's a somewhat tiring spectacle for 10 hours on end."

Nadelen: "The food was horrendous. Had to buy food when I landed in. Istanbul."

Nadelen: "The boarding area at the airport was overly crowded and hectic. It was really difficult to move around with two kids and a few bags."

Voordelen: "The flight was comfortable and on time. My congratulations to THY for the management of the situation so well right after the confusion brought about by the coup d'etat attempt in Turkey. Thanks a lot!"
Nadelen: "The Sabiha Gökçen airport in Istanbul is discrageful, and changing flights there is always a horrible experience. But this is not, of course, the fault of THY. The airport is simply too small for the current number of flights."

Nadelen: "There were enormous crowds at Sabiha Gökçen airport. The flight connections were late due to bad weather, and I nearly missed my connection to Brussels. There was no information and no help, and the gate was already closed. The people at the ground terminal knew no foreign languages. All they could say was 'I do not know. This is not my responsibility'. Completely disorganised."

Nadelen: "The Tray table on my seat on Istanbul - Cairo (16A) was broken I could not eat my meal without two cushions ,in order to replace the table!"

Nadelen: "Entertainment in the whole plain did not work. At arrival we waited about 30 min before exiting the plain."

Voordelen: "Service with a smile and very professional. Love the quality of food and entertainment on board."
Nadelen: "Last minute changes of aircraft that suddenly make what one thought to be an aisle seat a middle seat! Very annoying."

Voordelen: "This is a 12 hour flight - but we have no complaints whatsoever - by far our best experience and we have flown all of the big mid-east airlines."
Nadelen: "The entertainment system was a bit dated, touch screen did not work well. The leg-room was tight but I am of average height. Would have been tough for someone over 6ft."

Voordelen: "Direct flight, well priced, good food & service & entertainment."

Voordelen: "Not much."
Nadelen: "Starting with the check-in process. It's the 21st century, people should be able to check in electronically. I was traveling with one other person. For whatever reason the seats were not next to eachother. Flying to Munich they were nice enough to look for seats next to eachother, to no avail. Not this time around. The check in line was horrendous, security was horrendous, and the gate process could not have been worse. The service was bad. Requests for water took 15+ minutes to be fulfilled. I also noticed there were not enough non-beef meals on the plane for those who requested with it. Then we landed and the nightmare...continued. Taxiing took 40 minutes. They brought us to three different gates before finally disembarking onto the Tarmac."

Nadelen: "Boarding in Istanbul. We did not know the gate number until one hour before departure, because there were only 3 monitors in the area that we sat in and there are so many flights, so the flight did not appear on those monitors. Only the one main monitor in in the center of the airport is large enough and there are not seats in that area."

Nadelen: "Terrible experience with Turkish airlines , I had a sick father who use oxygen machine and they make him to miss his plane to New York and make him wait for 6 hours for the next plane with no oxygen tube"
