Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Even then it took them two days to bring it to us, two precious days off our planned vacation (7 days) At the end of the shortened vacation, we got to the chek in, and told that since the ticket I had purchased form them two months earlier was too cheap ... and since the flight was Over booked, they would take me off the plane if all the passengers would arrive. It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"

Boarding the plane in Stockholm was one of the most unorganized setups I've ever witnessed. Something so simple was made so complicated. Second, their seat recliners go so far back that you barely have space in front of you and can barely see your tv screen. On my previous flight I was in a row where there was no one in front of us so I didn't get to experience the recliner situation. Passengers on the plane were getting into fights. So bad."

Nadelen: "It is completely inexcusable that I was not guaranteed a seat for a flight that I booked four months in advance. I paid for the flight and should therefor have been gauranteed a seat, especially when this was connecting to an international flight. This could have derailed my entire trip as I had only one day in Copenhagen where I was meeting friends to travel To Berlin. Luckily there was a volunteer to give up her seat. Another thing is that my flight was moved to an earlier time with no notice from the airline. United really showed themselves to be a terrible carrier and I will never knowingly book with them again. Also the plane is just too small for anyone above the height of 4'6."

Nadelen: "The greatest problem was dealing with the usual chaos and discomfort of traveling through Heathrow airport. Primitive and time-consuming transportation system between terminals- Had to ride overcrowded buses packed with so many people that your body was pressed against your neighbor. Inadequate number of restrooms and poor signage to find them. Bad selection of restaurants. Then at the terminal, boarding time listed as 10:40, but they did not even announce the boarding gate until 10:40. Then a 10 minute ride on another overcrowded bus to the plane which you had to board by a staircase (and a staircase to the door on a 747 is no small thing!) Although flight was smooth in the air, the pilot landed so "hard" I thought the landing gear must have been damaged!"

Nadelen: "The transfer from T5 to T3 was chaotic. Queues to join queues to get the transfer bus. People were getting caught on a moving escalator because the crowd in front had nowhere they could go to make room. Extremely dangerous! It took longer to get from T5 to T3 than it did to get from Dublin to London. Boarding in T3 for the flight to Denver was almost as bad. Bodies everywhere, no organisation and no help. Then the aircraft itself was so old with uncomfortable seats and an almost unwatchable screen. I will never transit through LHR again."

Voordelen: "I was prepared with my smart phone and iPad and external batteries, turns out I needed none of those things! What a pleasant surprise for the in flight movies, music and tv to be perfect. I didn't even have to use my external battery on the flight because there is a perfect USB port in the screen in front of you. The food was as good as airplane good gets, the plane incredibly comfortable and staff was attentive. I don't love the long flights but this BA flight is now my go to anytime Im headed to Europe."

Our stewardess was rude and unhelpful. Best example, when my husband turned in the remains of his last meal, something had leaked over his tray table. She didn't bother to help. He luckily had some extra napkins. She watched him clean it up and then left without taking the soiled napkins. Thanks. The meal quality was poor on the international flight. American handled the start of our vacation. Such a superior international flight quality compare to British Air."

Nadelen: "They lost my bag due to flying a 3rd party "Vueling" and did not add my FF# and would not do it at the airport so now I have to sort through online pages and phone queues to do something that definitely should have been feasible and included at airport (I added it on my outbound flight but because of this 3rd party being the originating operator of my return flight it was not included on my return)."

Nadelen: "Good service to switch flight pattern from greenville to new bern but still a delay that cause a 2 flight connection. Lots of on-line issues with check-in, overall a stressful day, hopefully it will all work out!"

Le vol sur un Boeing qui a bien vécu, le modèle avec les ecran accroché au plafond de l'avion et ou tout le monde regarde le même film,"

Nadelen: "The flight was 3 hrs late, of which 1.5 before boarding, and almost 1.5 stuck in the plane."

Nadelen: "We sat on the runway for 3.5 hours while the crew cleaned up a fuel spill and we waited for a different co-pilot."

Voordelen: "Flight not entirely sold out. So they let my 14 month grandson have an empty seat between my daughter and I. That was a great gift since he doesn't sleep and is jumping and crawling all over the place. And I'm sure the other passengers were breathing sighs of relief!! Also super smooth landing and nice flight attendants."
Nadelen: "Flying with an active 14 month old toddler boy and of his "stuff" is nothing less than anxiety provoking. Not much the airline can do.."
Nadelen: "Had to board three times, two different planes. I understand mechanical problems, but 3 hours later, and on another plane, the captain starts making stuff up, saying that the only reason we hadn't moved in the last hour was because people were using the bathroom, then something about having to deplane because the plane couldn't back up with us on it because of some sensor? And then, surprise ! All of the sudden they noticed there was an issue with his and some of the crews' hours and we had to wait till they could locate more crew. But they gave us each a 1/3 glass of water and later a $12 food voucher which didn't even cover a meal and beverage. Whoop-de-do. 7 hours later we finally boarded for the third and last time. The crew on the other hand stayed professional and friendly."
Nadelen: "Seats too small and the gentleman next to me was a big guy so crowded over into my seat some."

Nadelen: "The customer service from AA representitives in the airport was completely unnacceptable and the absolute worst service I have recieved in an airport to date! One incident during this trip was as follows: When arriving in Charlotte and running to catch my connecting flight, I arrived as the lady at the desk was closing the door, she looked at me and rolled her eyes. When I went up to the desk along with the other passengers arriving from the same flight as me the AA representative said "Hurry up , I want to go home!! At a point I'm just going to cut you off and that will be it!" She was of no help to me in anyway amd was forced tonstay the night in charlotte ; Normally this would not have been such a big deal, However I am on emergency leave from the Navy rushing home because I have a very serious family emergency, that representitive was very lucky I held my temper! From now on thanks to the poor unproffessional customer service I received I will no longer be flying American Airlines!"

Voordelen: "Mon vole de Charlot a New York était en retard de presque 1h. Cela ma cause de rater mon vol international avec Tourkish. En plus de toute la fatigue de passe une nuit dans des conditions très difficile, j'ai payer une pénalité de près de 700 dollars USA pour un autre billet plus d'autres frais divers en nourriture et en communication. Le plus difficile pour moi est que votre personnel a New York était insensible a mes problèmes."

Voordelen: "The flight staff was efficient boarding people and were pleasant despite the close quarters, full plane and bumpy turbulence."
Nadelen: "The boarding crew woman was completely and unnecessarily rude. I have a small purse I had gotten out of my backpack to get my boarding pass that she insisted I put back in my backpack before loading. I understand the concept and reason for the request but the manner in which she did it was so uncalled for. I don't recal a time in which I've been spoken to in that manner in a very long time. While I was doing it (it took literally 5 seconds), she was screaming at me to walk over to the side and lose my place in line. After I quickly put it in she screams it must go in all the way, which it was. There wasn't even a bulge from it and it closed with ease. I'd be happy to provide a picture of my small backpack/purse."
Nadelen: "My headphone jack only had sound in right ear. Headset was horribly uncomfortable so even if I did have sound the headphones hurt too much to use. Should be able to use your own headphones but there was no option to because of the double jack"
Voordelen: "The seats next to my husband were empty so my husband and I and the couple in the same row spread out (instead of A-D we used A, C D & F). They were on the second leg from Jamaica and we had a long day flying from Barcelona - it was wonderful to have the extra room."
