Nadelen: "The check in agents with Iberia airlines in Porto were rude, the. told me only when I arrived that I could not carry on “camping backpacks”, so I would have to check it for an additional 40 euro to check it.. despite saying they’d be happy to check “carry on” free of charge.. I’ve never had a problem with my backpack before, and it fits well within the size restrictions and easily fits in the overhead.. then they were unable to transfer my bag that I payed 40 euro to check, to my connecting flight. Therefore I had to wait two days to receive my luggage at my final destination in Rome.. Overall a really mediocre and frustrating experience."

I was singled out before getting on the plane to be frisked, etc. One said there was something written on my boarding passes that was an alert. I am a 64 year old woman traveling alone....no plans for anything bad to be sure!"

Nadelen: "Addis Airport is a NIGHTMARE!!! It took two hours to check in and the lines were insane. It was absolute chaos, people pushing and airport staff did little to manage it. We almost missed our flight because the lines and process was so disorganized. The plane ride - the plane was old. My seat was so old, the cushion was worn down to the point of feeling like a bucket seat. This was really bad..."

Nadelen: "The touchscreen did not work very well; was only able I o see one movie but is was an overnight flight so it wasn’t too much at a hassle."

Voordelen: "I went for my honeymoon but ET never transported my luggage. I had to spend my honeymoon buying very expensive clothes and basic needs in Mauritius instead of relaxing. My luggage never came. I got it on my way back to Bamako. Nobody was even able to even trace my luggage or respond professionally on the phone. Out of hundreds of calls I made to them, they only picked up twice. ET screwed my honeymoon that I had planned for over a year. I'm so dissapointed that I don'y even want to claim reimbursement."
Nadelen: "Office in Bamako and apperently even in Nairobi never picks up the phone ! The only time they picked up (in Nairobi) they were rude!"

Nadelen: "Flight was overly delayed - as a result I missed my connection to Capetown and endured a lot of feeds in cancellation of pre-planned trips. Ground staff in Mumbai and Addis Ababa were awful. Mumbai staff was rude and inconsiderate. Addis Ababa team does not even make eye contact when talking to passengers. I could not wait for this travel to be over. Aircraft was mediocre.. During boarding, they don't seem to care about Priority passengers - despite my status with other Star Alliance carriers. Not sure I will fly by Ethiopian again."

Really terrible service. Would avoid using this airline at all cost. Not the first time I've been delayed by them"

Nadelen: "There was a fight on the llane but it was because a passenger with mental issues was provoked by a couple so ahe beat up the wife. This was not caused by ET and crew at all, but they stopped it."

Nadelen: "They didn’t announce when boarding started/what zones were to go."

Nadelen: "The services at the airport was terrible. The Booked me a flight with only a 30 minute layover. When I try telling the people before boarding the plane, big Norred me. When I told the flight attendant she said she would talk to the captain to see if there’s a way I could get a ride to my next plane so I wouldn’t miss it. That never happened. When we got off the plane no one at the airport would help us and when I was trying to run to my next terminal one of the officers at the airport told me to slow down because I wouldn’t miss the plane and I was fine. When I asked help with directions and told him I was afraid of missing my flight people laughed and walked away. When I finally found my terminal and got to it, my flight had already took off seven minutes prior. I absolutelyHated my experience flying with Ethiopian air. The seats are uncomfortable on the plane, not all the seats recline back the same level, and when I was eating dinner I decided to eat chicken since I can’t eat beef and halfway through the check in my stomach started her and I looked up the chicken and it was still pink inside."

Overall cabin experience can be improved in terms of hygiene and food quality ( food was mediocre or slightly worse). Seat ahead reclines almost too much into personal space in the new 787 aircraft. The LCD displays don't pivot so it's virtually impossible to view the entertainment when the occupant of the seat in front fully reclines ( a somewhat irritating issue on a long flight )"

One told me they were looking for blankets and will get me one when found. They were all so busy with food matters. To my utmost surprise after several hours when they were done with food matters blankets began floating around in their numbers. I was really really sad"

Nadelen: "I didn't like the quality of food in the hotel panaroma on my return. The hotel needed air refreshner as it wae stuffy and difficult to breath in. The reception was excellent but poor service."

Nadelen: "Crew didn’t show up. They later said it that they weren’t picked up. Weak excuse since they’re probably near the airport/airline could have informed us/flight could have been delayed properly. Everyone was there, plane was locked and departure delayed by some 36-40 minutes"

Nadelen: "We were traveling with my 94-year-old grandfather who needed wheelchair assistance. And it took the 4th person I asked to get any assistance. The very first Alitalia person I tried to speak to was the very worst. Though her job was to check people in, she said she couldn't help me and to go to another counter. When I asked if she could please at least make a call to get a wheelchair (my grandfather was at the airport entry and couldn't walk) she made a terrible face, threw the papers on her desk around and said I had to go to another counter. When I went to the counter she pointed at, I was told again I would have to go to another counter. No offense to dog owners, but the animals that were traveling received better assistance."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed. People/staff was not that friendly. I considered switching flight times, but the options were limited and it would have required me to purchase a new ticket. The fair was relatively inexpensive, but did not include checked bag and in the end was more expensive than other carrier options."

Nadelen: "Initial flight from London to Rome left late, so missed connecting flight to Johannesburg. Although we were put up in a hotel and got a flight next day, missed another connecting flight, which was with another flight company and had to pay again to get another flight. No apology from the airline for the inconvenience this caused. The travel to South Africa was for an emergency and ended up getting there two days later."

Nadelen: "The staff were super rude, forgot my food TWICE. Boarding took ages, and once inside the plane, they took a long time to get on the runway. Food was terrible, the bread was hard as rock. IFE has some relatively new films, but the screen is very small. Voordelen: "Alitalia gets a bad rap, but I thought this flight was excellent, and a comfortably way to travel the 13 hour flight from Rome to Los Angeles. Cabins recently refurbished on 777 thanks to Etihad Airways investment. Food, and plenty of it, was excellent. Wide selection of wines. Choice between freshly made American coffee or Espresso (from Lavazza). Lie flat seats are way more comfortable than KLM. Esoteric selection of documentaries and Italian movies. Leather seats and color scheme is elegant. Also, business class lounge (Alitalia House) at Rome Fiumincino serves delicious freshly cut Italian cold cuts, cheeses, pastrries, and has an actual barista vs a machine. You don't get the sense that they are cutting corners, which is probably why the airline keeps losing money, but that is to the benefit of the traveler (for now). Service friendly. For nonstop to this part of Europe, or for connections to Southern Europe, it may be my number one Skyteam choice."
Nadelen: "Check in is extremely unorganized and long lines at Sky Priority, but someone finally directed me to the VIP check in in the back, which you can use if you are flying Business Class or have Elite status. This was not indicated anywhere, though, so make sure you ask or look for it if there is a long line at check in. Then, the gate is very, very far. Not sure why they had me check in at Terminal 1 as the gate is in Terminal 3. Make sure to allow for plenty of time, and maybe see if it's possible to check in at Terminal 3, which may well save time. But for a 14-hour flight in total comfort, the trade off was worth it."

Nadelen: "My flight cancelled. I waited 3hours in the flight. They said they provide the bus instead of flight. Now, I waiting 2 hours for they provide bus."

Voordelen: "Decent flight. On time departing and arriving. Luggage arrived with us."
Nadelen: "Audacious prices for checked luggage. If you pay online prior to check-in €25 per bag If you pay at check in it is €45 per bag. This is downright theft by all the airlines who engage in this very profitable but nefarious activity and really needs to be stopped. First bag should be free/ nominal charge or at least part of the ticket price. (It is like a restaurant charging for cutlery and plates so you can eat . Would that be acceptable??)"

Nadelen: "Alitalia made me pay 50 Euros for my bag although I am traveling on the same day with them internationally, in less than 3 hours. They said that because I had two separate tickets they couldn't waive the fee. they have just lost a customer."

Nadelen: "Delay, change of gate, crew on ground helpful but crew on board was not polite at all."

Nadelen: "Legroom inside the aircraft is too small. Salted and sweet snack options including cookies. This is on a two hour flight. Very uncomfortable journey"

Nadelen: "Had my call button on for an hour to get some water to take an aspirin and no one ever came."

Nadelen: "We paid for bags. Called to check the bags were included and on a technicality alitila charged for bags again. When we asked why, we were told this happens all the time. It seems alitila relays on this to rip of foreigners. This is despicable. This happened twice from two different booking companies and only with Alitalia. I will follow this up next week."

Voordelen: "pretty comfort seats, and they give u a neck pillow!"

Voordelen: "Flight was fine"
Nadelen: "They changed my lay over from 1.5 hours to 5.5 hours. On the way over they changed flight 7 hours I wouldn't have gotten to my hotel until a day later. I had to rebook with another airline. Still not sure they will return fare. Used Webjet will never use again!!"

Nadelen: "Food quality was awful, no entertainment whatsoever and the smallest seats I have sat on. Legroom is extremely tight"

Voordelen: "Wine was offered complimentary to the meal"
Nadelen: "Boarding process was a mess, flight was late due to the confusion. Crew took forever to collect trash after the in flight meal was over."

Nadelen: "We had booked a weekend getaway, first the returned flight was cancelled and changed for a later one that didn't work for us (we couldn't get to work on time), we managed to change that for another flight the day before, shortening our vacation, then, when we got to the airport, an hour before boarding, we find out there, without warning, that the outgoing flight had been cancelled! This time it wasn't automatically changed, and there was no warning, the only solution they were giving us was an afternoon flight the other day, shortening our weekend getaway even more. After half an hour of discussion, they found and earlier flight, with connection, double the time, but that would get us there at around 2pm, so still we were missing almost half a day, but that was the best they could do. The flight was OK, boarding was late, but hey, that seems to always be the experience with this type of flights. I would just say they are not very reliable, having both your outbound and inbound flights cancelled, seems to much, specially if you're just going for a short getaway, you may end up having a one-day getaway!"

Voordelen: "Initially I was a little worried because Alitalia had given us some disappointments in the past, but it was the most convenient flight this time for our final destination.We had to take 3 flights to arrive to our final destination, 2 with Alitalia.The crew was polite, helpful. We were very happy that for the first time Alitalia didn't loose our luggage(!) and we got it in Athens. Thank you!!!"

Voordelen: "Not too much. Standard flight. They had ok wine I guess."
Nadelen: "Ancient planes. Had to use proprietary headphones, I thought they stopped doing that. No USB. Screens seemed 20 years old. It's 2017!"

Nadelen: "They forgot my luggage but knew exactly where it was was and got it to me the next evening."

Voordelen: "Plane on time, new plane, nice crew."

Nadelen: "mijn heen en terugreis ging niet door vanwege het feit dat we Bosnië niet inmogen omdat deze nog code oranje heeft. tot op heden hebben we de heenreis 08.08 en de terugreis 20.08 niet kunnen cancellen aangezien Wizzair zegt dat ik dit bij de agent (Opodo) moet doen, en Opodo zegt dat ik dit bij Wizzair moest doen. D.d. 30.07. laatste contact met Wizzair gehad om enige formulieren aan te leveren. Tot op heden hier geen antwoord meer van gehad. We hebben nu via onze verzekering Rechtsbijstand ingeschakeld. in ieder geval hebben we nu al besloten om nooit meer via Wizzair te vliegen. we boeken wel via een reisbureau."

Nadelen: "Having flown with Wizzair before, also to Gdansk and other cities, it a budget airline but okay. Budapest is kind of their hub, but what a terrible way to treat your customers. Get your baggage drop off automated!!They left everybody freezing on the apron because they only had one stairs available."

Nadelen: "1h 45 minutes waiting for luggages in Bucharest Otopeni. Still not delivered."

Je n utiliserai plus ce site, qui est d'ailleurs fortement déconseillé par les internautes après vérifications. Kayak ne devrait pas référencer des ires aussi peu sérieux, c'est dommage pour sa notoriété..."

Voordelen: "I called flight network and was put on hold for about five minutes, simply to get an answer to the question of the baggage allowance - I didn’t see it anywhere when booking the wiz air ticket. They told me that I was slowed one checked baggage and one cabin baggage that would be charged about €40 if it was over 30 kilos (which it was not). At the airport wizz air said that I had chosen online booking (which I had not) and therefore I had to pay a €30 fee. Also they said I had no checked baggage allowance and was charged an additional €150 !!!!"
Nadelen: "That I wa given false information that cost me a huge amount of money, And that the booking page does not make it easy to add baggage information."

Nadelen: "Did not fly. They wanted $100 to check my bag. I flew another airline."

Nadelen: "With WizzAir no more in my life it’s even worse than Easyget or Raynair even if you have a cabin suitcase you still have to check in you can’t take it on a plain anymore. Really disappointing and they are not that cheap as they think. £90 one way from Kiev to Luton it’s a bit too much"

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed and there was even no information about it. Gate number was changed after boarding time and we didn’t hear any appologize not even receive some meal vouchers or food on board. We arrived more then 1 hour later- I can not evalute this as a good service."

Nadelen: "Both flights were Delaid. It was unorganized in every point, felt like chaos. Ryanair sells same services for cheaper price, so I thought it was overpriced."

Nadelen: "Little space. Legroom & hand baggage (which had to go in hold). Family of four were not seated together. Cabin pressure change made child ill (my phone has a pressure sensor and I could see the change in pressure trigger a desire to vomit). It should be transitioned more slowly."

Voordelen: "Flight was delayed. I missed my train home to Ipswich. Long journey home ver late at night"

Nadelen: "FUYEZ WIZZAIR.... quels escrocs!! on a du payer près de 150€ en plus à 3 pour nos cartes d'embarquement car nous n'avions pas pu le faire en ligne (leur site ne fonctionnait pas!) et le gars nous explique "c'est normal, c'est ça les compagnies lowcost" on ne nous y prendra pas deux fois!"

Nadelen: "Very long queues at boating in Charleroi airport"

Voordelen: "Staff were generally sweet & approachable."
Nadelen: "Cannot understand management of border control security before boarding. This is done in the corridor on route to gate. Long long queues, then continued to queue before boarding in the waiting/holding room. No toilets once you enter the corridor to go to gate. Unsatisfactory management. Water from air conditioner dripping on me on board from take off. Not an immediate suggestion to move, but agreement to do so on my suggestion and then gentle insistence. Thankfully there was a seat for me! It seemed to be a problem staff were aware of which is concerning that Wizz did not block that seat."

Nadelen: ""Wizard of Oz Airlines" I'm surprised the pilots didn't ask for another hidden fee! Please book a full fair on a major carrier instead of hidden fee fiasco at the airport. headaches before a flight. Keep in mind no wizz staff to talk to before flight or in Budapest. Private contractors from airport do all the check in process and departures."

Voordelen: "Nice clean plane, friendly airline staff (as friendly as they get, we all know how they have that teflon attitude), OK food, I sat between 2 Bulgarian passengers which were very well behaved, one screaming baby nearby (as there always is) and no-one playing football with the back of my seat all the flight (you know who you are - hope someone does it to you), and no-one fidgeting all flight so all in all a good experience."
Nadelen: "Bit slow in opening the gate for people to get on. They expect to cram you like sardines on a hot staircase with no where to go when there is other people being checked in to board behind you, really stupid and possibly sadistic."

Voordelen: "The ground crew in Varna were a thousand times better than Luton. Excellent flight and service...even with an hour delay."

Nadelen: "L’avion est arrivé en retard et en entrant dans l’avion on m’a imposé de mettre mon bagage pourtant au format cabine en soute, alors qu’en fait il restait de la place au dessus de moi. Résultat j’ai manqué mon RDV !"

Nadelen: "Les bagages en cabines ont été mis en soute alors que j’ete presse et ma valise a été dégradée"

Arrivé aux portes d'embarquement, je m'assoie pour attendre l'annonce de l'ouverture des portes. HEUREUSEMENT, un policier me demande ce que j'attends, me dit que l'embarquement vient de fermer, que je dois courir. Arrivé devant la porte, plus de passerel, le commandant à était bien gentil de me laisser monter dans l'avion qui décollait 2 min après. Je ne vous remercie pas !"

Nadelen: "Le retard de 1:15 (arrivée tardive de l'appareil cause météo puis débarquement de valises de passagers non montés à bord)"

Nadelen: "Op heenvlucht waren we al aan het taxiën toen ze erachter kwamen dat er 2 passagiers meer dan stoelen in het vliegtuig waren. Prutsers dus. Terug naar de gate, mensen uitladen, wat een gedoe. Beenruimte is echt het kleinste dat ik ooit heb meegemaakt. Dan wordt er ook niet goed opgelet op handbagage en word je rugzak bijzonder onvriendelijk onder je stoel gepropt vanwege te weinig ruimte. Dat was wel m'n enige handbagage, dus waarom mag iemand die teveel mee heeft wel z'n spullen bovenin en ik niet? En waarom moet dat met bruut geweld onder mijn stoel gepropt? Bah, erg onvriendelijk."

Nadelen: "Comment depuis des année cette compagnie peut stagner dans la médiocrité et ne jamais s'améliorer? Même la plus low cost des low cost arrive à faire un embarquement proritaire mais vueling non... réveillez vous !!"

Nadelen: "Bonjour Je n'ai pas du tout aimé les 5 heures de retard au départ de Marseille. J'ai perdu une demi-journée sur mon séjour et aucun dédommagement ne m'a été proposé."

Voordelen: "La politesse de l équipage, le nombre de langue parlées par l équipage et le commandant de bord (dont le français)"
Nadelen: "Depart prévu à 19h30, décollage à 22h : 1 verre d eau offert pour 2h30 d attente sur le tarmac, peu d informations sur l heure de départ ni sur l aéroport d arrivée, mauvaise organisation de la proposition des repas et boissons servis 30 min avant l atterrissage, assis à l arrière de l avion nous n avons pu ni boire ni manger."
