Voordelen: "I flew with multiple international airlines this summer and KLM was by far the best. The crew of KLM were exceptionally attentive, polite, and helpful. The meals were by far the most enjoyable of my airplane travel meals; and I learned that KLM does not charge for it's drinks on international flights, unlike most other international airlines that I traveled with this summer. In a sentence, flying with KLM was a very pleasant experience and I will recommend this airlines to others."

The flight landed at least fifteen minutes early...but we didn't have a gate..and ended up departing the planeapproximately on time...but planeside checked baggage took almost thirty additional minutes to finally return to the plane full of waiting customers. Felt way too long....and the ground crew didn't seem to appreciate that most people had a connection..."

Nadelen: "This was the worst day we have ever had flying. Spent 12 plus hours at the airport! Got on and off planes for 6 hours because of mechanical problems. 7 hours later they canceled the flight due to crew fatigue. The customer service was horrible plane was dirty it was an horrific experience. Alaska booked us with American Airlines. I will never travel American ever again. I'm considering using a different booking site. The experience was the worst I've ever had. Kayak Alaska and American are getting bad marks from me!!!!"
Voordelen: "First time traveling with my service dog. It was a very pleasant experience and everything went wonderfully!"
Nadelen: "With the longer flight than the one I had been on previously I had expected the plane to be in better condition. However, I did not have a bad experience on this flight. I do wish that the snacks provided included a gluten free option as on all of the flights I had taken on this trip I wasn't able to enjoy any snacks due to food allergies."
Voordelen: "Friendly crew"
Nadelen: "My headphone jack only had sound in right ear. Headset was horribly uncomfortable so even if I did have sound the headphones hurt too much to use. Should be able to use your own headphones but there was no option to because of the double jack"
Nadelen: "After a cancelation, a rebook and a delay on the rebook. after boarding the first time, the pilot was deemed illegal to fly and had to get a new crew. Then after we boarded the 2nd time, a passenger wanted to leave after we were in an active runway state...."
Nadelen: "Dilapidated and outdated plane"

Nadelen: "My legs are short and the seat seemed a little higher than other plans. I couldn't rest my feet flat on the floor for 6 1/2 hours. This was very uncomfortable."

Nadelen: "I was unable to pre-order a kosher meal through the web site. Customer service could barely write in legible English and in essence told me to take a hike. Flight was bumpy both ways for quite a while. What's the point of giving me a boarding pass in Tel Aviv if I need to go to the United transfer counter in Brussels and go through the process again, including a TSA (friendly) interrogation?"
Voordelen: "Friendly crew, decent food, good entertainment options to make the flight feel shorter."

Voordelen: "We were upgraded to business class. Everything was excellent! Seats were extremely comfortable. Flight attendants took great care of us!"

Nadelen: "Even though I have an account with United, and confirmed that I was a vegetarian both online, and on the flight heading to Europe, my meal wasn't entered. It worked out really well because I was sitting close to the front and they had pasta dishes available, but this is not the first time that United and its partners have "lost" or "mishandled" my vegetarian registration. The flight attendant even remarked that sadly, she hears this 'complaint' constantly. The food was good, but there's no reason that my meal request can't stay in the system."
Voordelen: "Cabin and cockpit crews great. "Food" = small bag pretzels. Entertainment was available, but too expensive. Did not observe anyone buying it. More leg room than previous flight."
Nadelen: "United wi fi did not work during either flight. Phone service only worked on the ground,"

Nadelen: "We were boarded on a plane that was missing a part and sat for an hour and a half. Then we were taken off that plane and put on another with no money back or any sort of sorry. Had to miss work that night so it cost me money out of pocket."
Nadelen: "Seats are crammed up against each other and little leg room plus I am short!"
Voordelen: "Friendly service."
Nadelen: "I chose Luthansa because I was traveling with a bike and they are usually good about not overcharging however after booking the flight, United took over the flight and they have very unfriendly bike policies (200 each way). Usually I will not fly United because of these policies, I think I am done flying any Star Alliance companies."
Nadelen: "This was a mess as the attendants didn't not have my transfer ticket It took them for ever till the last minute when was called by the Microphone"

Voordelen: "Flight wasn't that long. Experience was okay. Flight was full. Attendants did their job. Some were more polite and helpful than others."
Nadelen: "No request was made for the outbound flight which I want to comment about. At Dulles Airport, I checked in at the Brussels Airline counter, only to be told that since I was on a flight operated by United, then I had to go to the United Airlines counter to check in. At UA, I was handed a boarding pass which advised that my seat will be assigned at the gate. I saw on the monitor where the available seats were-1 window, the remainder middle row. I got the feeling that since I bought a ticket which cost less than what the other United Airlines customers paid for, then I was being relegated to seats that the other travelers didn't desire."
Voordelen: "Helpful crew when I told them that my right leg was causing me severe pain. I asked them to order a wheel chair for me when the plane landed They did so right away."
Nadelen: "The DVD player at my seat did not work. I was the last one to leave the plane, with the help of some crew members; but no wheelchair was waiting for me. A staff called but was told that no such an order was received and no one was then available to bring me a wheel chair. Later someone in the Cleaning crew made a couple of calls and finally ,10 to 15 minutes later, a wheelchair arrived."
Nadelen: "People were not told where to get their transfer boarding passes until last minute. Security check of "random" passengers was overboard. I wasn't one of the passengers who had to undergo the extra security at the gate, but felt bad for those who did. Completely unnecessary.."
Voordelen: "Pilot was very happy and friendly! Very informative throughout flight."
Nadelen: "On the return home, I was seated in the last row right next to the lavatory. I was bumped into at least 40 times by other passengers and flight attendants."
Nadelen: "A 1 hour delay in Brussels, combined with the complexity that is Dulles resulted our missing our connecting flight. The United employee who rebooked us for the late-night flight five hours later put my wife and me on separate rows, requiring a second wait in the lengthening lines to sort out. Avoid Dulles. Avoid United."
Voordelen: "One of the crew members was friendly."
Nadelen: "Literally everything else. Customer service was worse than Comcast's. Luggage was lost and has yet to be found even though I was promised multiple times that it would be taken care of. Will never fly United again."
Nadelen: "Weather delay but then sat at the gate for nearly an hour waiting for "fuel". Give me a break! No update as to why we were waiting, just said we would leave in 15 min an hour before we left."
Voordelen: "There were good movies."
Nadelen: "Food didn't look great. There was a vegetarian option, which was nice to hear, though I opted to just eat food that I bought since the food looked like TV dinners. Also snacks were like pastries and cheese/meat sandwiches, which I didn't try. I would appreciate healthier snacks, like fresh fruit, or failing that, dried fruit and nuts. Also there were no electrical outlets, which made it a lot harder to get any work done on the flight. For such a long flight this was disappointing."
Voordelen: "Flight left on time and arrived on time. Crew was great. Pleasant and professional."
Nadelen: "No gluten free complimentary snacks offered. Cabin has too bright for a night flight."

Voordelen: "The flight never took place, and I was never notified - not by United, not by Kayak, not by anyone. I called Customer Service on March 31 when I was notified the flight from Marrakech was rerouted to Liege, Belgium and was told to take a bus to Brussels. When I got to Liege, I was boarding a bus to Brussels when someone told me the airport was closed. I then got my flights rebooked on Lufthansa. Why was I never notified that the United flight was cancelled? I haven't checked on it yet, as I just got home after flying 3 flights from Liege instead of 1 flight from Brussels. I understand the situation is bad, but why NO NOTIFICATION?"
Nadelen: "No communication - very wierd"
Voordelen: "I liked the computer screen on the seats in front of us."
Nadelen: "The select button would not work after it took my card. Tried it several times. The other thing is I was given 50 dollar Egoft card from United but my husband he was with me they said no proof he was there, we are not planning on flying United Airlines."
