I was delayed 3 hours first flight, 1.5 hours second flight after watching two flights that I “wasn’t allowed” to be on depart right in front of me at 9 and 10 instead of the 11 that they rebooked me on. Once I landed in Lisbon after the second flight that o wasn’t supposed to take. We missed the connection by 5 minutes and there were many people flying to my same destination. I had to wait 5 hours in Lisbon when I shouldn’t have ever went to Lisbon. I bought a ticket from Newark to Zürich through Porto 10 hours in total. I think TAP overbooked everyone and seated us on purpose. The secondflight was delayed due to “bad weather” and it was perfectly nice outside. Shame on TAP. I’m sure other people are complaining."

Nadelen: "Without notice, we were put on “standby” line, all of the workers told us all of the flights for the remainder of the day and that we could wait by the gate all day or just “take a taxi” from Lisbon to Porto.... a 3 hour ride. Ridiculous! We finally begged our way into being squeezed into a flight to Porto. But of course our bags didn’t make it with us and they could not locate where they were or track what time they would get to Porto... we sat at the airport for hours waiting for our bag until they finally offered to deliver them at a later time, which we are still waiting. We missed a full day of our vacation to Portugal because of this situation and are still hoping that our bags will make it to our destination..."

Nadelen: "We had trouble with the A/C leaving; until we were airborne, it was hot. I suspect that this is an unusual problem. In general, I find small international carriers better than the large ones; my favorite so far in Air Austria"

Nadelen: "1. Food. I think that sandwich and juice are not enough for 3 hours flight that costs 130 euros. 2. Departure time. The flight was delayed for more than 1 hours. When we arrived at Schiphol it was night already and trains to towns around were super rare. So we came in home at 3 a.m. instead of the planned 1 a.m."

Nadelen: "We never saw a crew member smile. They verged on being surley. From the time we boarded they were yawning. I do mean all of them were acting uninterested in doing their jobs."

Voordelen: "I was lucky enough to be awarded an upgrade to Business Class on this flight... Relieving the tension of overbooking in economy..I guess my lucky day.."

Nadelen: "To start off our trip we weren't allowed to get on the plane until an hour after our boarding time. After we were allowed on, the air conditioning was not working and continued to sit on the tarmac not even leaving our terminal for another two hours. Within this two hours there were many elderly people asking for help and one specific gentleman whom was in his late 70s, informed the people around him that he had a pacemaker was pleading to get some air conditioning to the point where 6 people on the airplane were fanning him off. It was 90 degrees in the airplane and we had been sitting in the plane without any help even pleading with the attendents to let the elderly off so they did not pass out. Once we reached the 2 hour mark without any ac the gentleman in his late 70s was beginning to lose consciousness and many people had to call the emergency services, and the crew on flight TP214, tried to tell us everything was fine while the plane was pulling away from the terminal ... as they were giving the man oxygen, even though the elderly gentleman had lost the ability to communicate verbally and was about to pass out. They had to pull the plane back off the tarmac fully delaying us 3 hours in the process making us miss our other two flights. Once we were finally in the air for the 6 hour flight our entertainment system was not working so we were left to twiddle our thumbs for the remainder of the trip. It really ruined what seemed to be an exciting trip and I highly doubt we would ever take TAP Portugal ever again or recommend it to anyone no matter the price."

Nadelen: "They kept us all day in the airport t to then tell us at 7pm that the flight wouldnt actually leave that day."

Nadelen: "The plan was delayed 2 hours, seats were beyond small."

Nadelen: "Paid for a seat with extra legroom because I'm 6'4". Was given a different seat and still charged."

Voordelen: "There was confusion in the boarding time. We were brought in a line to the entryway of the airplane and then held in the "arm" standing in the heat smelling jet feul. I felt badly for the pre-board epople who were elderly or with children. The crew explained and apologized once we were inside but that did not help the passanger discomfort while in line. No chairs for elderly, for example--or allowing us to go back to waiting room."

Voordelen: "The crew was always smiling and friendly. The food was better than it usually is, and I was frequently offered something to drink."
Nadelen: "I didn't receive a headset for my first flight, though I did on the return. Also, I couldn't turn the monitor off, which made it impossible to sleep."

Nadelen: "Too much terbulance, no control over that obviously. But the seating was uncomfortable."

Voordelen: "Based on the way that I wa treated, I am unable to find anything that I did like."

Nadelen: "Vol avec une heure et demi de retard au départ de Lisbonne. Une heure et demi a resté debout en attendant dans un couloir et salle sans siège, seulement deux bancs. Ne voyageant pas avec une imprimante, la compagnie m'a fait payé 50€ en plus pour imprimer mon billet d'avion, une honte dans leur politique. Pas de réglage de l'inclinaison des sièges. Première fois que je prend cette mauvaise compagnie et la dernière fois. Denis Poulet"

Nadelen: "The crew did everything necessary, but they did not smile, their communication was not spontaneous and a bit "robot" like. This was in in contrast to the crew on our first flight to Brussels - the crew there was cheerful and fun to travel with."

Nadelen: "ce n'est pas clair dans le processus d'enregistrement j'ai du prendre des bagages a main alors que ceux ci auraient du etre gratuit. On m'a dit de me faire remboursé mais c'est aussi compliqué sur leurs site. J'ai pris une location de voiture au depart de milan, 2h30 d'attente pour avoir le vehicule, c'est un veritable scandale."

Nadelen: "Bruyant, peu de place. Les hôtesses passent toutes les 15mn pour vous vendre à manger, des parfums, des tickets de grattage, etc... Bon, c'est Ryanair donc les billets vraiment pas chers mais tout se paye après (enregistrement, réservation des places, bagages, etc...). Mais quand même aller-retour à Porto pour 2 personnes pour 180 euros, çe n'est quand même pas trop cher."

Nadelen: "Charges 50 euro per person if you don't check in two hours before. Doesn't matter if you actually buy it last minute (flight leaving within an hour), they will still charge you a penalty since you didn't check in more than 2 hours ago. When you try to explain it to the employees, they just stare at you, look at their piece of paper, and say you still have to pay. Absurd. Flight was delayed obviously. Seats are small and don't recline. A tall person should never fly with them. Obviously no entertainment. Don't even give you free water."

Nadelen: "Le voyage aller au départ de Dinard, c’est parfaitement passé. Mais le retour n’a pas eu lieu !!! … En effet, je me suis retrouvé bloqué dans un énorme bouchon, causé par l’accident d’un poids lourd qui s’est retrouvé en travers de l’autoroute, et qui m’a fait perdre près de deux heures … Et malgré avoir téléphoné à RyanAir à l’aéroport de East Midlands, pour les prévenir de cet imprévu. J’ai eu beau tout faire pour essayé de rattraper ce retard, mais le traitement de la part du personnel de la perfide Albion, a été plus que lamentable ! Car lorsque je me suis présenté au comptoir d’enregistrement, on m’a renvoyé à la fin de la file d’attente, pour finalement me refuser l’enregistrement car le vol venait d’être clôturé deux minutes auparavant … Une véritable honte ! Qui m’a obligé à relouer une voiture, pour me rendre à l’aéroport de Londres Stansted, y passer la nuit et bien sûr racheter un billet d’avion pour le lendemain, car le prochain vol pour Dinard depuis East Midlands n’avait lieu que deux jours après … En revanche, le lendemain, le vol depuis Londres a décollé avec plus d’une heure de retard, mais là bien sûr, personne n’est venu s’excuser et ce retard n’était pas non plus de leur responsabilité ! Et je vous passe les détails … Un vrai cauchemar !"

Every other airline allows you to change within 24 hours, In the over Million miles I've travel. Please help!! Thank You, Robert"

Nadelen: "The plane smelled a bit musty and of urine- almost like that of an old folks home. The crew wasn't that pleasant either. Glad it was a short flight."

Voordelen: "A un vol low-cost on ne demande pas de confort de divertissement etc , on demande un prix. Et nous en avons eu pour notre argent . Dans le sens ROME Bordeaux, le FAST track et l'embarquement prioritaire ont bien fonctionné."
Nadelen: "Sur ce vol en particulier. L'atterrissage a été très dur , mais c'est juste pour l'anecdote sinon rien a signaler ."

Nadelen: "This bullshit airline cost me an extra $1000. I never even made it to Porto because of this airline. I had to buy another fight to Lisbon so I wouldn't miss those hotel reservations also."

Nadelen: "I was quite shocked to pay for the check-in as much as the ticket price. But I assume it was my problem as I didn't know. I think it could be great for people like me to put some information on the ticket booking info about printing your check-in in advance."

Nadelen: "There was a protest at the Lisbon airport. Ryanair emailed us an hour before our flight to come 3-4 hours before our flight. Security lines and bag check was 4 hours long. The lady for Ryanair bag check was very rude to people. Overall a very negative experience. We ended up having to take the train and lose our money on the tickets."

Voordelen: "Tarif."
Nadelen: "Nous avons décollé avec 1 heure de retard sans aucune explications. Nous avons attendu sur le tarmac de l'aéroport de Beauvais pendant plus de 30 minutes avec femmes enceintes et personnes agées. Très mauvais points : horaire, communication et confort. Le low cost ne dispense pas des règles de bases."
