Although we were put up in a hotel and got a flight next day, missed another connecting flight, which was with another flight company and had to pay again to get another flight. No apology from the airline for the inconvenience this caused. The travel to South Africa was for an emergency and ended up getting there two days later."

Nadelen: "Horrible experience with Alitalia. They boarded us on a plane that had a wheel issue, and kept us on the ground for 2 hours before they decided to de-plane us. We then had to wait in a 5+ HOUR LINE to get rerouted (nope, they won't handle these issues online or over the phone, you have to wait in line). And THEN they wanted us to wait in a 2 hour line to re-drop off our bags. We got stuck overnight in Rome and were put in a horrible Hilton Garden Inn and barely made it in time to use our coupon for a "free meal" (aka, frozen meatballs and stale bread in a buffet that had been sitting out all night). On our flight back, the food was absolutely terrible, the movie selections were old and scarce, and the seats were uncomfortable. We called to complain as soon as we got home and still have not heard back from Alitalia. I will never fly with them again."

Nadelen: "Although reservations for our return flight from Rome to Boston were made 5 months ago, we were bumped from our flight, not advised in advance, and missed several important work engagements. The management at the Alitalia desk at the airport was not up to the task of reassigning everyone. Understaffed and under equipped (staff was unable to get online to reschedule and re-issue new boarding passes) We are senior travelers (75 and 80 years old) and were forced to stand in lines for 3 hours We're headed to the airport now, the next day, and I am dreading the experience."

Nadelen: "The plane was boarded early and then the flight ended up being delayed an hour. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and the leg room almost nonexistent. It was difficult to move at all for this 12 hour flight. I am not very tall at only 5'7" and I am slim. Also, the lunch was worse than any I've ever had."

Nadelen: "They changed my lay over from 1.5 hours to 5.5 hours. On the way over they changed flight 7 hours I wouldn't have gotten to my hotel until a day later. I had to rebook with another airline. Still not sure they will return fare. Used Webjet will never use again!!"

Voordelen: "Initially I was a little worried because Alitalia had given us some disappointments in the past, but it was the most convenient flight this time for our final destination.We had to take 3 flights to arrive to our final destination, 2 with Alitalia.The crew was polite, helpful. We were very happy that for the first time Alitalia didn't loose our luggage(!) and we got it in Athens. Thank you!!!"

Nadelen: "Ancient planes. Had to use proprietary headphones, I thought they stopped doing that. No USB. Screens seemed 20 years old. It's 2017!"

Nadelen: "Alitalia is a Bullshit company, we were late to our connection because of the air line, they told us the next flight is waiting for us, but they didn't... We got tickets to the next flight with no compensation and they lost our snowboard case."

Nadelen: "Paid for upgrade comfort seats. Did not get them on the outbound flight ROM-TLV. They could not explain why we did get the seats and have not paid back the 80€ for the 2 seats. Had to fight for the comfort seats TLV-ROM. DO NOT LIKE ALITALIA!"

Nadelen: "Airport transfer in Abu Dhabi was dreadful, overcrowded, disorganized, frustrating"

Voordelen: "Did not misplace my suitcase as they did on my October 28,2016 going to Rome. That was very stressful!"
Nadelen: "Alitalia customer service not answering and updating information on misplaced luggage. They acknowledged the mail...that's about it!"

Nadelen: "The boarding was chaos in both Munich and Rome. Apparently Al Italia had instituted a new computer system and the workers did not know how to use it. I spent hours on line getting a boarding pass in Munich, and then again another in Rome (in Munich no one was given boarding passes for connecting flights). I spend hours again in lines to get a boarding pass for a flight to Palermo, missing my connection and only getting a much later flight to Palermo. It was utter confusion. Shame on Al Italia."

Voordelen: "The flight was short and on time. Overall the flight was okay."
Nadelen: "I was disappointed, because my luggage did not arrive at my destination."

Voordelen: "Uncomfortable seats, mine had a giant metal box under the seat in front of me, so unable to properly place feet for a 9 hr flight. Flight attendants were blind when anyone needed attention."

Nadelen: "There was more than an hour delay in taking off, the boarding started late, and after the boarding we waited an hour seating inside the plane.. so of course the flight came late. I nearly missed my next flight. The variety of movies was poor. Half of them were Italian movies (I respect that, but I don't speak the language), I wish there were more movies and newer ones it's not easy when you have 11 hours flight also the chairs were really small, even compared to alitalias smaller planes in which the chair is larger and much more comfortable"

Nadelen: "Some crew are not very happy to served clients. They just do their job to earn their livings but they have no service mind. It is absurd that we had to thank them and got no response back. Does Alitalia start hiring robots? Unlike Etihad, Alitalia needs a huge room of improvement for customer service. Very poor service. We will not fly Alitalia again."

Voordelen: "The airplain was comfertable wirh pillow and blanket the crew was very nice especially on land crew with patients and good will to help"
Nadelen: "In both of the flight from nyc and from rome the boarding and the take off was not as scdualed ... and the most annoying thing that we didnt got any apdate or explanation why are we in delay ."

Nadelen: "Air Berlin was not helpful in rebooking another flight to Venice so that we could get there in time to get our cruise ship."

Nadelen: "Worst crew ever. Arrogant, aggressive,continously hit passengers with the cart etc"

Nadelen: "My carry on bag was under 8kg and fit in the carry-on sizer, but they still made me check it for e38"

Voordelen: "On board we had the chance to have sandwich instead of cookies and other services that they were not there in the past"

Nadelen: "Rude flight attendants threw snacks to reach middle seats. Seats uncomfortable and no legroom or space to open seatback table."

Nadelen: "I realized I made a mistake it’s my date five minutes after my booking . There was no options all to do any changes"

Nadelen: "All along the way Ryan air was a disaster. The only thing positive to say is that we arrived at our destination alive and reasonably on time.the lead up with the computer games they played with me and my money put them right down at the bottom regarding service and expectations ."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed about an hour and half than scheduled. The airplane was ridiculously controlled"

Voordelen: "I think the crew were ok. But I didn't need them for anything. I guess I'm happy they were not rude or miserable themselves. They seemed upbeat which was the only positive thing about this whole trip. Plus I think the pilot stepped on it, cause I think travel time was less than what was planned (I might be missing taxiing time though, so not sure)."
Nadelen: "Well, I can't say I wasn't entirely expecting this. There was over an hour and half delay. Nothing announced. We were in the dark. The plane didn't arrive on time, nothing announced. Boarding was delayed, nothing announced. When boarding was complete, there was an indefinite delay that was only announced quite a bit later. Anyway, the whole experience, including naming Charleroi airport as "South Brussels" is not something I intend to repeat."

Nadelen: "The flight did not fly out of the airport I selected thru kayak. I missed my flight because I was unable to make it to the correct airport in time. I will NEVER use Kayak again."

Voordelen: "Prix attractif , hôtesse agréable"
Nadelen: "Très gros retard au décollage, trop de ventes à bord."

Voordelen: "Un bon vol pas cher, personnel jeune et accueillant, seul bémol mais indépendant de la volonté du pilote: nous sommes arrivés 15 minutes trop tôt et nous avons dû attendre 15 minutes pour sortir car personne n'était présent pour nous accueillir. Le seul gros défaut que je pourrais citer et celui pour réserver des siège, il faut payer, ce que je ne trouve pas normal même à ce prix. Sinon vol pas cher, rapide et efficace."

Nadelen: "Flight was late. Made me check in my carry on while there was load of space in the plane Ryansir boarding staff were their usual horrendous self. Obnoxious and seemingly happy to harass travellers for few cms of lugage"

Nadelen: "Uncomfortable seat. We paid to check our bags as they were oversized according to Ryan's website however we saw many people stowing bags much larger than ours in the overhead bins."

Nadelen: "Unexpected, late, and lack of communication of long delay. The gate numbers change at almost the last minute to boarding, meaning you may need to run to the right gate and be last in line."

Voordelen: "Rien, cette compagnie n'est pas capable de donner de l'eau à bord. Uniquement du commerce à bord."
Nadelen: "Vol avec une heure et demi de retard au départ de Lisbonne. Une heure et demi a resté debout en attendant dans un couloir et salle sans siège, seulement deux bancs. Ne voyageant pas avec une imprimante, la compagnie m'a fait payé 50€ en plus pour imprimer mon billet d'avion, une honte dans leur politique. Pas de réglage de l'inclinaison des sièges. Première fois que je prend cette mauvaise compagnie et la dernière fois. Denis Poulet"

Voordelen: "Cela fait deux fois coup sur coup qu'il y a un retard de 30 minutes, sans explication. Je n'avais jamais eu cela avec cette compagnie."
Nadelen: "10 € pour un menu sandwich + boisson + snacking, je trouve cela très cher. Le retard. Et pas de divertissement. Mais c'est normal et ce n'est pas dans nos attentes sur ce genre de vol."

Voordelen: "I liked the new interior of the plane - lot more room, easier to move between seats, easier to place luggage"
Nadelen: "The crew did everything necessary, but they did not smile, their communication was not spontaneous and a bit "robot" like. This was in in contrast to the crew on our first flight to Brussels - the crew there was cheerful and fun to travel with."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "The crew is not welcoming, cramped seat, long line and force to check in my bag and paid 50euros."

Nadelen: "We purchased our tickets through Kayak. Ryanair website was not accessible to add luggage and check in. On the check in counter, we were not allowed to check in because they claimed that we had to check in online. We contacted the Ryanair desk to solve the problem, and we showed them that we are not able to access the website to check in. Eventually, they forced us to buy brand new tickets or we would have missed our flight."

Voordelen: "Rapidité embarquement malgré un retard de 20 minutes."
Nadelen: "Confort des sièges moyen au retour.... Mais correct dans l ensemble..."

Nadelen: "Vol aller comme retour plus d'une heure de retard. Aucun dédommagement. Aucune collation de proposée pour l'attente."

Nadelen: "ce n'est pas clair dans le processus d'enregistrement j'ai du prendre des bagages a main alors que ceux ci auraient du etre gratuit. On m'a dit de me faire remboursé mais c'est aussi compliqué sur leurs site. J'ai pris une location de voiture au depart de milan, 2h30 d'attente pour avoir le vehicule, c'est un veritable scandale."

Le prix de base semblait correct, puis vinrent les surprises... 25€ pour 1 bagage, mais le pire.... si vous n'imprimez pas votre carte d'embarquement au préalable ou ne téléchargez pas l'application de la compagnie, il vous sera demandé 45€ supplémentaires au checkin!! Un scandale!! Ryanair, been there, done that, never again!"

Nadelen: "Impossible to get a hold of I tried email Webb and telephone in each case I had to wait long time and most the time it would disconnect I was never able to talk to a human being I had other business that I had to attend to where I am and had to cancel my trip to Brussels I will try never to fly Ryanair again there reputation precedes them. Every other airline allows you to change within 24 hours, In the over Million miles I've travel. Please help!! Thank You, Robert"

Nadelen: "Se présenter à l'embarquement et devoir payer 45€ supplémentaires par personne, sans aucune raison particulière ; à mon sens et jusque là "low cost" n'était pas synonyme d'arnaque au consommateur .. visiblement j'avais tort. Il n'est jamais précisé que l'enregistrement est obligatoire, facultatif, peut-être, mais obligatoire ? Du vol et de l'abus purement et simplement. J'ose éspérer que vous saurez profiter de tout l'argent que vous m'avez extorqué par des pratiques moyennement commerciale, car c'était bel et bien la dernière fois que je venais vous solliciter !"

Personnel pas hyper professionnel, retard à l'embarquement, poussette pas récupérée à la sortie de l'avion alors que nous étions quasiment les derniers à sortir de l'avion. Bref, si nous pouvons éviter Ryanair, nous le ferons"

I chose Ryanair because they had the cheapest flight from Milan to Brussels but I will never fly Ryanair again because in fact their ticket prices after all the fees, were over 100 euro more than other companies and the process of checking in I did not like."
