Nadelen: "When my first flight was late, Turkish air took 5 hours to rebook me. Two people forgot that they were helping me and when I asked why it was taking so long, they had to start over. One woman didn't even look at me, she was just on her phone playing a game. Every step of the process they asked me how I could have missed the connection....it landed 20 min before the next one took off!!!"

Voordelen: "We get turkey on time waiting in the air port for 9:30 hour then we get the plane and waiting two more hours on the ground so the flight very tiering I will never take Turkish airlines again in the pass never happened I don’t know happened to the management ???"
Nadelen: "My flight take 32 hours the price not worth it ,,, they said if you stay ten ours they give us a hotel room they did not they give us a sorry meal ,,, the food court very crowded and mangment"

Voordelen: "Boarding on time, service friendly, luggage up to 30 kg, good entertainment and comfortable seats, tasty sandwiches."

Voordelen: "That I arrived at my destination alive."
Nadelen: "Every staff person we had contact with made us feel as though we were not a priority in any way. We were constantly given misinformation. Our flight was two hours out when it was returned to our departure city due to a passenger health issue. It was not properly explained to us and we were in no way compensated for the inconvenience. Once back at our departure city (Miami) we sat there for an hour or more. They chose to feed us during that delay. Due to this we missed our connecting flight in Istanbul to Rome. This also caused us to miss our transportation from Rome to Compania, Italy. We were told by airline staff on the plane that we would be put up in a hotel over night. When we arrived at the terminal we had no idea where we should go or who we should see. Every representative we spoke to told us to go somewhere else. Truth is it felt like no one we spoke to knew what to tell us or really cared at all. One representative told us we were not entitled to overnight accommodations. We insisted we were told we were and it literally took hours on the ground to straighten the problem out and get to a hotel. By then it was so late that we only got a couple hours of sleep and had to be back at the airport for our next flight. The second flight from Istanbul to Naples, Italy was better. I do not think I would use this airline again. My entire party got an overall sense that people were untrained and lacking in any form of customer service. Not the flight attendants but all the people we had to deal with on the ground. My age plus health issues and walking problems made everything more difficult. We were sent al over the massive airlines terminal with all our carry on luggage only to find when we got to where we were going we had been sent to the wrong place. On top of all this each of us had to pay a VISA fee to get out of the terminal and to the hotel. Just a total nightmare. Prior to taking this flight I contacted Turkish Airlines and spoke to a customer service person and explained that I needed to take with me a small portable oxygen concentrator that I would need to use while in Italy. I needed to know the procedure for bringing that equipment on the airline. I was told that although he could not answer that question He would pass it on to his supervisors and I would receive an answer via email prior to my flight. I never received a response and as a result did not have my needed oxygen while abroad."

Nadelen: "My bag didn’t arrive"

Voordelen: "Food"
Nadelen: "Narrow space between seats"

Nadelen: "My ticket was messed up completely (GYD-IST-VAR-IST). First leg did not book (close) it properly, I have lost 1 hour at trasfer desk in IST (they were solving my ticket issue for that long) and another hour in VAR on the way back (because the TK staff did not solve it right the first time). Lousy work of service desk! I was lucky to keep boarding passes as the proof, because nobody believed, that I duly arrived from Baku."

Voordelen: "Dinner served was very good, American Airlines need to learn from foreign airlines."
Nadelen: "Comfort of the seats."

Voordelen: "The staff is very nice and good service and very helpful"

Nadelen: "The customer service in Istanbul airport (for Turkish Airlines) did not speak or understand English at all. She could not give us any helpful information of our flight"

Nadelen: "An hour late with no apologies. And seats are so small, the people sitting next to me were so large that I didn’t have enough room."

Nadelen: "My seat was unable to recline. My husband and I were moved to a middle aisle (although we really didn't want to share) only to find that the foot rest at my foot rest was also faulty. It was an uncomfortable flight"

Voordelen: "Turkish airlines always delivers and economy feels like business with the hot towels and good food!"
Nadelen: "Quite a full flight and no extra accommodation for families."

Voordelen: "I really like the food and the crew members. they all were very kind and nice to us."

Voordelen: "Honestly, not very much. The Entertainment system kind of worked, although the touch screen barely worked, and the movie selection was mediocre."
Nadelen: "Very old plane, with barely any leg room, poorly functioning seats that didn't recline--and when others recline, I couldn't even open my tray table. The crew was incredibly rude and generally unhappy to help--a consistent show of attitude, as if WE were a pain to service, when just asking for water/tea because they kept skipping us! The food also was really bad, nothing like it used to be. By far the worst Turkish Airlines experience I've had, and I may reconsider booking in the future."

Voordelen: "Very comfortable seats and BIG aircraft."

Voordelen: "Seat comfort, entertainment, food quality, professional staff."
Nadelen: "seating assignments, lack of service support if book through Kayak, Turkish Cairo staff said they had fixed the seating assignments for our onward flight...not true. Transiting Istabul airport is tight on times due to long security lines."

Voordelen: "Entertainment center was great, also food was very good."
Nadelen: "In a 12 hour flight, it would be good to have a small snack between the 2 meals. The crew should improve their English level, specially when flying on a flight to the US."

Nadelen: "First let me tell you that when I booked a flight to Istanbul from Brussels, I booked, so I thought, the airport called Istanbul Ataturk with the initials of IST. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

Voordelen: "Boarding employees were so polit The flight was on time"

Voordelen: "Entertainment (movies) always helpful to pass the time."
Nadelen: "Hot in the plane during and after boarding - no cool air. I have come to expect more from Turkish Airlines, and I hope they make sure they improve this aspect."

Voordelen: "Food was tasty. See other notes about dessert."
Nadelen: "Very little legroom. When the person in front of my reclined, I wasn't even able to open my tray all the way to eat. Flight was delayed for takeoff, that wasn't the airline's fault (air traffic) so that didn't factor in my review. Although the food is generally tasty, the dessert could be upgraded. I flew on 4 Turkish Airline flights this year and have never finished a dessert as I've not liked any of them. The bathrooms should be cleaned mid-flight for a 13 hour flight. It started out great but towards the middle of the flight, the bathrooms got really disgusting."

Nadelen: "Canceled the outgoing flight"

Nadelen: "The chairs didn,t go well for sleeping And we had 12 hrs to do ."

Nadelen: "The flight had been cancelled by airline. Now waiting for refund."

Voordelen: "Great Cabin Service, Great Food, timely arrival and departures."
Nadelen: "Ground Staff Service in Mumbai airport. Could improve a lot. Specially compared to ground staff service in Toronto & Istanbul airports. On all flights legroom was kind of limited in the Coach seats."

Voordelen: "The flight was very pleasant. I was traveling wit my 2-year old and they brought him a little Batman vs Superman bag with an inflatable airplane, airplane binoculars, and slap on watch. They also brought him an activity book. I thought this was a lovely touch that helped keep my child entertained on our long flight. Adults also received a goody bag with grippy socks, slippers, eye mask, lip balm, toothbrush with toothpaste, and ear plugs. It was a pleasant surprise."
Nadelen: "Someone was escorted off our plane when our flight landed for unknown reasons. This was the day after the terrorist attacks in Belgium at the airport and metro, and the crew asked the person being escorted off the plane if he had taken all of his bags. If this person was a terrorist, do you really think he would just tell you if he left a bag of explosives on board?"
