Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Nadelen: "Customer service at the JFK airport service desk was horrible. They need to train their employees to treat their customers with diginity. I was standing there with my father, he doesn’t speak English and they automatically gave us bad looks and they way they spoke was horrible. Please train your customer service to treat clients without any bias based on their enthinicity, color of skin or the language they speak."

Nadelen: "I was the second person who boarded the plane in the business class. The flight attendant distributed ipads and headsets. She completely ignored me. When I asked her for one she said that they had only 15 of them and 16 people were in the business class. They do not have oe for me. I said why did you not give me one before she said I was sleeping which was a flat lie. Simply terrible and stupid service. Moreover, that flight attendant looked like a bar hostess than a professional person. Her English was very ppor. I talked to the bursar. She kept apologizing but it did not help. I am multi million miler and Diamond member with Delta, I never had an experience like this, AEROFLOT really needs to train their people better. Very bad experience."

Nadelen: "Went to SVO at 6 AM on June 11th for flight at 8:10 AM to Brussels. Waited in line to check-in untl 7:23 AM Because of long lines at check-in (Russia Day, apparently) and inadequate staffing for the large numbers, I succeeded in getting through passport control and security ten minutes before flight time, only to be told "no Flight" I had to buy another ticket for the next day at a second fare, all because of Aeroflot' s inadequate staffing. Aeroflot service desk only told me to " go back into the city" where I found an Aeroflot office. After meeting three staff members in succession there, they made no effort to make good on their error. I will avoid AEROFLOT on all future travel. Brussels and Amsterdam airports were so much better set up to handle the crowds"
Voordelen: "The most important part of a flight is arriving and returning safely, so in this regard, Aeroflot made the grade. The airplanes appeared new and on one of four flights, there seemed to be a decent amount of legroom in coach."
Nadelen: "The crew...upon boarding, they literally say things like "come on, come on, hurry up" when you are moving as fast they allow you to move. It was just rude. In Moscow, the boarding staff were even more pushy and rude. The flight attendants are relatively polite, but definitely not friendly. The bathrooms smelled of urine upon boarding the flight. The movie system (while it was better than nothing) worked very poorly, froze up, would not take the button presses and aside from a couple of the movies, the majority were from the 1980's, 90's and early 2000's. Lastly, and the worst, the food was over cooked and tasteless. We were served a total of 6 meals on all of our flights. I had requested gluten free meals. I was served the EXACT SAME FOOD at every single meal! Worse yet, that meal consisted a 2"x 2" piece of chicken (which was palatable), tasteless yellow rice and a teaspoon glob of deathly overcooked spinach. A salad with just olive oil for the dressing. No vinegar, nothing. And a dry rice cake. Seriously, it was the worst airplane food I have ever endured. I would avoid Aeroflot if at all possible."

Nadelen: "Didnt’t get any of my luggage. When out of the airport with the only purse that I had, no clothes, no pajamas, and it’s the scariest feeling. Never taking Aeroflot again"

Crew was not updated with the times and left 45 minutes late which made us miss our connection flight and Im writing this while waiting for the next one we had to schedule. My 11 months old is with us and this was very inconvenient to say the least"

Nadelen: "transfer in Moscow is a mess, incoming delayed and very tight to get connection but no support or fast lane at all. Was traveling in business class."
Nadelen: "I had received a boarding pass to the gate #15 and was waiting next to that gate for the boarding. Sheremetievo changed it to the gate #2 and call my last name with completely wrong pronunciation. When I realized that my plane is leaving I had to run more than 1 mile to the gate #2 for the 3 min. You have to be a world champion to do it in time so I was 2 min late. The company forced me to buy a new ticket for $100 from Moscow to St Petersburg and said that they never recognize that that is their fault. Several other people were late to that plane."
Nadelen: "Lost luggage"
Nadelen: "SVO (Moscow) airport was dysfunctional. Two Aeroflot employees told me to stay in terminal E for my flight. I waited in line for one hour (they only had three people checking bags!!!). I get to the counter and I'm told it's from terminal D. Thankfully, my checked bag made it. In sum: ask and confirm with more than two people since Aeroflot employees speak no good Angleski."
Voordelen: "A surprise. Boarding was efficient. The crew was friendly and professional. Although there were triple announcements in Russian, German, and English, I'm sure this is all a legal requirement. Although there was no entertainment, the flight was only 2 1/2 hours long. The seats were comfortable and there was ample legroom. I was able to choose a seat within the 24 hour boarding time at no cost. The female cabin crew members had really had red outfits which shows perhaps the airline is trying little bit too hard. Still, I would fly with them again."

Voordelen: "Was pleasantly surprised by the comfort aboard and friendliness of staff. While the headphones provided were not great, I used my own and greatly enjoyed the inflight entertainment system. The food and drink selection were good, and we were fed quite a bit throughout the 8 hour flight. Staff was extremely attentive and very friendly."
Nadelen: "The boarding process loudspeaker @JFK Terminal 1 was completely inaudible. There was a long line of all the passengers for a long time, instead of announcing and boarding by zone. There was no air option on the flight, and with it being extremely full, it was very hot on board."
