Our first snack on an 11 hour flight was stale pretzels and lukewarm orange juice, but this may have been from my choice of products. Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Nadelen: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

On the previous flight Lima-> Cusco, they bumped us off our flight even with confirmed tickets, said the "flight was full" (obviously oversold) and said we'd get a $50 voucher and asked me to write my email on a piece of scrap paper, no receipt."

Nadelen: "I didn't like being stuck in a window seat next to two oversized passengers. The person in the isle announced to the middle seat that " I'm giving you notice that I need all of my seat". So the middle seat took up part of my seat, and I feel cheated, because I couldn't use all that I paid for."

Voordelen: "The plane was sleek and clean. I had a good amount of room even in coach!"

Voordelen: "I was one of the wheelchair passengers, obviously I was struggling and asked an attendant to help me with my carry on bag to be stowed in the bin above the seat. SHe said she can't because she will be greeting the passengers!!! Anotherattendant finally helped me but it is disconcerting to be received like that by one of the crew. I did get helped by Ms Gonzales getting off the plane , I am very grateful that despite the first unpleasant attendant, there was a nice one among the lot."
Nadelen: "I 'm not sure if this is the venue for my complaint. When we landed in DFW there were 13 passengers on wheelchairs but there were only 3pushers.. there were 2 of us that were left and abandoned for about 40 minutes, I finally had to leave my chair and push the other lady's chair through passport control. Finally one AirServ pusher helped us with our luggage through custom and then transfer. I got to my gate 3 and 1/2 hours after we landed."

Voordelen: "Smooth, left on time. About an hour flight."

Voordelen: "The pilot was amazing!"

Nadelen: "American airlines was helpful to embark my daughter who lost her conection from Miami to NYC"

Voordelen: "It was on time and the crew were good"
Nadelen: "Padlocks being cut of our luggage with no explanation!"

Nadelen: "Haven't taken it yet!"

Voordelen: "Left on time arrived at destination early"
Nadelen: "Stewardess didn't smile was abrupt impatient"

Voordelen: "Nothing."
Nadelen: "The entertainment screen for seat did not work. A crew member indicated that he would try to fix it, but he never reappeared and nothing was done to alleviate the problem. They could not have cared less."

Voordelen: "Frequent food and drink service"
Nadelen: "Old disgusting seats Entertainment service broken and screen didn't work"

Nadelen: "I missed my flight in Atlanta heading to LA on my way to Brisbane, Australia on Saturday 16th July. The ground staff wasn't at all helpful in trying to get me on another flight and in fact sent me to Delta! The lady there couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Sadly I wasn't compensated at all and had to pay to re-book the flights on the Sunday 17th. On my return from Brisbane, American Airlines had cancelled my flight to Atlanta as they said I was a 'no show' heading out. Thankfully I was able to get a seat on stand by. So, no I'm not a happy customer."

Nadelen: "Free wifi for business class customers. $6,000 ticket then asked to pay 10/hr for wifi is insulting!"

Voordelen: "Staff are very nice"
Nadelen: "Delay in flight of more than 45 minutes"

Voordelen: "Plane was nice, clean, good entertainment options, departed almost on time, arrived on time."
Nadelen: "Boarding process - seat upgrades should come with boarding zone upgrades. Paying extra for a seat and then boarding in last zone makes no sense to me."

Voordelen: "Entertainment, service"
Nadelen: "30 minutes of delay at least."

Voordelen: "I wanted to let you know that we tried to make a chuck in and could not be made online. our flight left vancouver to Israel via Zurich. we were three adults and a nine year old girl, we separated all of us, only at the airport, we managed to get the girl to sit with her mother. that it's my daughter, i see it sternly, we can not be done twenty-four hours in advance of chuck in, and they separate us all, you are bad, and will consider in the future to continue your service, will i weel not recommend you to our friends. your company is turned on by bad people. we telephoned, and it was impossible to correct the mistake that your pepole made , only at the airport we were able to get a partial answer."

Voordelen: "It was basically a United flight instead of Air Canada. Had usuall good quality United service"
Nadelen: "No problems"

Voordelen: "Movie selection was good."
Nadelen: "I could not reserve seats via Kayak, through whom the flight was booked. The flight was a code shared flight with Austrian Airlines. I could not reserve seats via Austrian Airlines. Contacted Air Canada and they had a lot of trouble locating my booking/itinerary. When it was eventually found, I was able to reserve seats in advance through Air Canada. It cost a little extra."

Voordelen: "Having the few inches of extra leg room in economy plus is very nice, and we got one alcoholic drink included in the extra fare paid. The crew was courteous and friendly. I did not use the entertainment system."
Nadelen: "Even though we were traveling with our small dog in cabin there's no pre-boarding to make settling in easier as there is with the competition. I could not check in on-line like I can on WestJet because of my "special service" request (small dog in cabin for the usual $50 charge) Also for the extra money paid for the"upgraded economy plus ticket" there's not a sandwich or even a snack included as there is on the competition."

Voordelen: "Entertainment. GoGo did not want to work for me at 1 he before arrival."
Nadelen: "Give me a coupon for food before takeoff or on arrival. Skip the CupofNoodles. After Japan and Shanghai, cup of noodles seem really in bad taste."

Nadelen: "AC was aware of flight delay due to computer system failure which caused missed flight connections for passengers and yet there was only one customer service rep at the counter in the Toronto Pearson airport to provide directions to stranded and confused passengers when AC1621 landed at 12:30pm on March 13 from Fort Lauderdale. After waiting in line at customer service for more than an hour, I was told I was booked for 9am flight the next day. I was with 2 kids, no options were explained about an overnight stay. The rep put me on standby and said they were flights every hour and told me to wait for next flight. Again no further explanations about standby, I was going from one gate to the next for 3 hours and I wasn't called. When I asked the agent, she asked me to wait. Finally a fellow passenger told me to check with agent at the next gate. That agent found out the cs rep put my family on standby but put a Nonexisting flight #202. So I was never called. I didn't pay money to get this kind of poor service. All I wanted was the basics, get me home without confusion. What a shame Air Canada! Our national pride is on the line. It should be named Air Nada cause no cs whatsoever. Bad management is to blame. Train your staff and hire qualified people to handle tech dept. We have no control over weather but tech backup is worth investing to prevent tech system issues."

Voordelen: "Our flight boarded slightly later than expected but ended up taking off on time. Flight crew was courteous and provided water the entire time to ensure everyone was hydrated. In flight entertainment was nicely done with a personal touch screen headrest TV that had ample TV and movies to choose from. We landed slightly ahead of schedule and by the time I got to baggage claim, my oversized bag (snowboard bag) was already waiting for me."

Voordelen: "The flight crew went the extra mile to give good service. There were plenty of meals and snacks throughout the trip."
Nadelen: "The bathrooms are cramped, they are clean however. Seats are also very close together, others must get out if you are in a middle or window seat."

Voordelen: "Friendly crew, onboard food was fairly decent and an okay price."
Nadelen: "Even a “preferred” seat on Rouge (27E, bulkhead on B767-300ER) has no legroom. This, combined with a short and low seat cushion means a dead butt. I’m only 5’11” too."

Nadelen: "no flights between noon and 9pm. pay for snacks..on westjet they were free"

Voordelen: "Great flight"
Nadelen: "The fact that there were no snacks"

Voordelen: "Food was good. Flight staff was pleasant."
Nadelen: "Boarding took forever. There was a child that screamed the entire way. Wish flight staff was trained on calming children, even though I know it was just bad planning on the parents. Also wish there was a hygiene policy. Half the flight was not wearing deodorant, and you could tell."

Voordelen: "Great fare. Prompt and friendly customer service on the phone."
Nadelen: "My flight was cancelled and rebooked for the following day with the same itinerary, which would have defeated the purpose of going on my trip (a wedding). I called and Air Canada put me on a same day flight on Delta. That flip was delayed, and I would have missed my connection. Finally, I was rebooked again, but didn't get in until several hours later than I would have gotten in."

Voordelen: "An incident the day of our flight left us with a pet with nowhere to go but come with us. Usually you need to give a fair bit of notice to bring a pet into the cabin but the staff couldn't have been more helpful in getting all of us to our destination. They turned an incredibly stressful day into an easy and relaxing one."

Voordelen: "Niets"
Nadelen: "Oncomfortabele stoelen, Inflight entertainment werkte slecht"

Voordelen: "In flight movies were clutch"

Voordelen: "The plane is spacious and comfortable. The crew is quite nice."
Nadelen: "Air Canada overbooks their flights. So if you don't pay extra for your seat, (even if you get to the airport 3 hours in advance), they'll just tell you sorry you are on standby. Which means I literally had to stand by the gate and hope for other people to not show so I could take their seat."

Voordelen: "The smiling and helpful crew members"
Nadelen: "The seats were uncomfortable and the tv didn't work well"

Nadelen: "Not the most comfortable aircraft"

Voordelen: "Very friendly flight attendants. Great food!"

Nadelen: "Our flight was cancelled after already waiting through a 3.5 hour delay. The inbound flight was delayed due to weather, and as a result, there was no crew available for our flight. This left us stranded at Pearson at 3am with no Air Canada agents available for assistance. After a two hour wait on hold with Air Canada customer service, we were told the earliest flight we could get on was two days later. Unacceptable. We ended up having to buy tickets with WestJet. Weather delays are understandable. Not having sufficient customer service agents available for assistance nor having enough crew on call is inexcusable and incompetent."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "One attendant walked by offering water - nice that they offered water in the middle of the flight. But she didn't even give customers the chance to raise their hands bec she walked by so fast saying "water, water, water." I wasn't even dozing off and I couldn't catch her and I was sitting by the aisle. Dirty bathrooms with doors that don't lock - not just one particular stall but more than one stall."

Voordelen: "I thought the crew was awesome. Very friendly, but the bathrooms definitely needed to be taken care of. SO dirty."
Nadelen: "TV wasn't working at all which made for a very long flight! Food selection ran out. I felt like the plane was old and outdated."

Voordelen: "On time. Comfortable plane"
Nadelen: "Extra security and customs checks changing planes in Canada"

Voordelen: "everything was perfect"

Voordelen: "The airport had no lines, security was fast and easy."
Nadelen: "Air Canada employees are rude and inconsiderate. Terrible experience. When I asked for help I was handed a card to call customer support. I was hung up on and missed my flight. Had to pay for a rental car and hotel and missed a day of work. I'm still stuck in the Fort Lauderdale airport 15 hours my flight departed. Never flying Air Canada again."

Voordelen: "The lady at the counter was very pleasant when she realized my dad had forgotten his wallet and offered him to put him on next flight if I didn't make it back in time with his wallet, I liked how she had made him feel better by showing him grace and mercy that his mistake was fixable."
Nadelen: "At SFO it is always a mess when you take a flight because you can either be in International terminal - that would be logical, since this is a us Canada flight but at other times you need to go to the united ticket counter instead (even though I get sent between the counters often I can't remember if this is terminal 3) - The lady in line was trying to get my dad to leave this line to go to the other counter line without asking about his specific flight, it caused an argument in my travel party because they thought she was right and I insisted we stay in this line. The lady didn't even acknowledge what I was trying to say and kept telling my dad to go to the other terminal when we were at the correct one. There is nobody that can seem to tell you which terminal to go to prior to arriving at the airport so it doesn't help when someone provides misinformation at the airport while in line. Travel can already Be stressful."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed."

Nadelen: "they made a bunch of people check bags for plane which normally in my past experience has just gate checked larger bags. i'm not sure why they needed to check the bags, and we got away with not having to do that, but it seemed unnecessary"

Voordelen: "The crew was nice"
Nadelen: "9 hours + flight with no entertainment and HORRIBLE food (it didn't even bit hunger). Not that it would make a difference, but the people on the back of the plane only had one choice of food instead of the usual chicken or pasta, for example."

Voordelen: "Plane left on time, smooth flight, arrived on schedule."
Nadelen: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"

Voordelen: "Good on flight entertainment. On this flight we had a good crew and good staff. However it has been mixed in the past with air canada"
Nadelen: "No food or snack. Only drinks or food for purchase."

Voordelen: "Crew was nice though not very professional."
Nadelen: "Airplane quality Seat dimensions Food quality Allowing passengers to sit where they pleased Pay for food- embarrassing"

Voordelen: "crew was awesome"
Nadelen: "that people can recline their seats in coach. very uncomfortable and there's really not enough room to do this."

Nadelen: "Overall it was terrible. Really bad customer services. I never want to take Air Canada airplanes in my life."

Nadelen: "The flight from Montreal to NYC was late by 2 hours:("

Nadelen: "The customer rep at the gate checked my bag but didn't attach my name to it, so they lost my bag. Flight attendants did not want to serve any coffee for some reason. Flight from TO to Hfx delayed twice; once d/t no plane available, then the ground crew left so no one to close the plane door from the outside. Had a maintenance issue so sat on the tarmac for way too long. My bag was found & I was told I would receive it the next morning.... NOT!!!"

Nadelen: "fitst leg was late. no communication about the connection. was not not clear whether we're going to make the connection - too much stress"

Voordelen: "New interior felt clean and the new entertainment system felt responsive with a large amount of movies and shows to view"
Nadelen: "seats were very hard with reduced legroom after you recline. Lavatories were far and few. Food was mediocre with 3 meals, I had to ask for extras."

Voordelen: "Wow these guys balance MANY flight changes and seat changes with professional and humor that all the passengers appreciated"

Voordelen: "It was nice of airline to set up an extra flight in the afternoon so we didn't need to spend even more time in Toronto airport."

Voordelen: "I love how the flight attendants were courteous and I did not feel neglected at all. I was a smooth flight and would gladly fly AIr Canada again"
Nadelen: "There was nothing that I did not like about the flight."

Voordelen: "The trip was amazing, for the extremely prompt and organized Japan crew boarding to the great and smooth flying despite the long time it took to get to Torinto"
Nadelen: "The food onboard could use an improvement, it felt very poor and flavorless. The Toronto immigration processing was cumbersome and time consuming, took us about an hour plus to clear customs which left us just enough time to make it to the gate for our connection flight to EWR. The process could be improved to allow for us to decompress enough to allow for a more relaxed connection flight."

Nadelen: "5 hour delay. Didn't get the correct seat."

Voordelen: "Originally this flight was scheduled to be an 1hr and 17minute flight. It only took 55 minutes from gate to gate. Flight attendant was really friendly, overall a very great experience."
Nadelen: "The aircraft that was servicing this route was tiny and at times I found it difficult to stand up properly without hitting my head. There was a little chop upon takeoff but besides that everything went smoothly."

Nadelen: "This was the worse travel experience I have ever had. The crew was rude and gave wrong information that caused me to almost miss my flight. My ticket in the end ending costing me over $600 for all the additional charges. It was ridiculous. Among other things. I will never fly with them again."
