Nous faire monter dans l'avion, rouler sur le tarmac, après 30 min de prise de retard sur le départ, nous annoncer qu'on retourner à l'aéroport et qu'il fallait changer d'avion pour problèmes techniques. Pour nous annuler complètement Le vol! Nous faire descendre de l'avion, devoir aller se trouver un autre vol, aller recuperer la valise, retourner l'enregistrer, et retourner à la sécurité tous ça avec une amabilité digne de la froideur allemande! Auncuns repas ou autre bois a été offert au moin pour s'excuser. Après avoir eu tous ces problèmes avec la même compagnie j'ai contacter à plusieurs reprises le service client qui m'a raccrocher au nez! On m'a dit qu'on me remboursait Le vol. Slightly disappointed."

Nadelen: "First, I had issues with checking into my flight online, which lead to me having to print my boarding pass at the airport. Since I had a separate flight with Eurowings that sent me from Munich to Paris, which was not connected with this flight, I came in directly into the airport and no where near a Kiosk to check in or print out my ticket/boarding pass. I explained to numerous employees my situation and they casually exclaimed I should be able to make it in. Once I got into the airport I could barely get through security since I did not have my boarding pass. I kept explaining I don't have a boarding pass because I could not check into my flight to obtain it. Then when they finally let me through with only 10 minutes to spare before my flight's gate would close, I finally reached the boarding desk only to be told I had to wait because out of the two men who were scanning boarding passes, they were too busy to help me. I then had to explain three times that I had already paid for and booked my flight, however, I could not check in online and was having an issue with an error that stated I was missing information, even though there was nothing marked in red or anything marked to edit, so each time I tried it denied me. I also tried calling for customer support and did not get a hold of anyone because the lines were too busy. After explaining all of this to the man at boarding, he made me wait an additional 5 minutes before helping me check into the flight and print out my boarding pass. I was treated like a stand-by customer and I did not appreciate it since I paid for this flight and tried to check in 24 hours prior. I was expecting much more from Lufthansa, as my boyfriend recommended this flight company to me, but I was extremely disappointed in so many ways it makes me question whether I want to fly this airline again for future trips abroad."

Finally after spending 2 whole days at the San Francisco airport, I could take off with a 30 hour delay. The Swiss Air flight was wonderful."

Il me semble totalement illogique de me faire dire qu'il n'y a plus de place pour moi dans l'avion alors que j'ai le billet en main et qu'il a été payé. Comment une compagnie peut-elle accepter mon paiement alors qu'elle n'est pas en mesure de garantir le service pour lequel elle a été payée? When we arrived to the plane, they had both entrances open so that those sitting near the rear of the plane would enter from the back. Plane was a little chilly, but I have come to expect that one most flights."

Nadelen: "Only one toilet working in business class. A crew member told me that it was a decision to fly with only one toilet to ensure no delay. There was a disgusting stench of sewerage for the complete flight from Amsterdam to Johannesburg. This was in all likelihood due to the broken toilet on the left side."

Nadelen: "The only complaint I have regarding my most recent flight was the incredibly rude service staff whom we experienced at the front counter at check-in. After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."

Plane was an older 747. I will not flight long hault with KLM again."

Voordelen: "Because of a delay in the first leg of my trip, I missed my connection in London. However, I was placed on the next available flight without much hassle, although I did arrive later than the group I was meeting up with."
Voordelen: "I require a wheelchair for getting around the airport. When I first checked in at LHR, they claimed to have no record of my wheelchair request and my seat change, despite my very clear notations of who and when these were made. They did have a record of my paying for one suitcase. The agent at LHR promised to make these corrections so I would not have the same problem when returning to London. Furthermore, to turn this into a humiliating situation, at the gate I was informed that the jetway was broken and they would have to find some other way to get me onboard the plane. I cannot believe that British Airways has no contingency plan for a situation like mine. After many discussions between BA reps and ground crewmen they decided to bring me down in a lift at Gate 34, though my plane was at Gate 32. I was then loaded onto the freight platform of one of those food delivery trucks and driven over to my plane. The truck backed into place and again I hoisted up to the plane. However the plane door was locked and we had to bang on it for them to finally open it. To my great embarrassment I helped down the aisle to my assigned seat, looking back at the curious looks and glares from all those passengers who had no explanation for the delay and humiliating scene. Officially the flight was listed at 28 minutes late, when in reality it was 40 minutes till we taxied away from the gate My return flight from Brussels was little better because the changes that were supposed to have been entered at LHR never were and so I had to go through this whole routine again costing me over one hour in delays. Fortunately I was able to board the flight through the jetway and did not have to be hoisted up again, and delivered like freight. How would you rate these flights. I had problems with every single British Airways flight!!"

Once we finally arrived st Heathrow for the 2nd leg of our journey, we were put on a later connection, no apologies whatsoever from any of the employees. Overall we spent over 4 hours in the air. We were never served even a glass of water or a bag of pretzels. The seats were very tight with very little leg room, and I am only a 5'6" female."

Nadelen: "The option to buy food etc, as the only option on a short midmorning flight struck me as a penny-pinching and mean-spirited economy that is creeping gradually more pervasively into British Airways service these days."

Nadelen: "Boarding the plane. I do not know why the airlines load the people who are at the front of the plane first. Load the people on the back of the plane first. That way, when you call the next section, the people in the back are not blocking people as they enter. An alternative is to call people in sections based on where they sit in a row. If you have window seat, you should be called first. Why? Because so many passengers who have aisle seats have to get up to let people with middle or window seats get in. So, they hold traffic up as people are trying to get to their seats. After window seat passengers get called, then call middle seat passengers, and last, call aisle seat passengers."
Nadelen: "Nothing special ti say except what already said on the flight in about the fact that now you have to pay for every single thing and ONLY tap water is free."

Voordelen: "I was prepared with my smart phone and iPad and external batteries, turns out I needed none of those things! What a pleasant surprise for the in flight movies, music and tv to be perfect. I didn't even have to use my external battery on the flight because there is a perfect USB port in the screen in front of you. The food was as good as airplane good gets, the plane incredibly comfortable and staff was attentive. I don't love the long flights but this BA flight is now my go to anytime Im headed to Europe."

Nadelen: "I had priority and my partner who did not was on plane first! My suitcase was miles away from me (what caused delays on getting out) because next to my seat was not empty slots! After the bus took us to plane crew did not allowed us to use rare entrance (I was seat 37!)! That was chaos!"

Voordelen: "I called flight network and was put on hold for about five minutes, simply to get an answer to the question of the baggage allowance - I didn’t see it anywhere when booking the wiz air ticket. They told me that I was slowed one checked baggage and one cabin baggage that would be charged about €40 if it was over 30 kilos (which it was not). At the airport wizz air said that I had chosen online booking (which I had not) and therefore I had to pay a €30 fee. Also they said I had no checked baggage allowance and was charged an additional €150 !!!!"

Never having flown this 'unique' airline before, we did not know the process. At the check-in desk, the clerk told us that if we couldn't show him our boarding pass, he would charge us 30GBP to print them. He was a complete jerk. After no help from him, I was able to figure out that we did have them as attachments. Never again."

Nadelen: "The crew (starting from "Julya" at customer service) was rude. Some of the with terrible English. The size of "small carry on baggage" is RIDICULUS I tried and tried on line, but was never able to do the check in and I had to pay for that and a small luggage. Worst trip of the year."
Voordelen: "For the first time I am saying thanks to Wizzair for being late in departure time, otherwise I would not manage my flight back to Warsaw."

The ones next to me were smelly both due to ling time, no see with soap&water and also some wine was involved in their breath, I think. Once signage appeared baggage was handled efficiently and the person who was doing this was very helpful in explaining the next steps in process They could do a better job of developing graphics and signage. Also not the airlines fault but the pre-boarding area was crowded warm and again not much in the way of any instructions"

Voordelen: "Very pleasant crew. Nice modern plane (but spoilt by too many seats -see below). (Paid for) sandwich was very nice."
Nadelen: "Too many rows of seats fitted. The seat pitch was such that anyone over 5'11' would be in real trouble. Luckily the flight was far from full so I could put my legs sideways into the empty seat space next to me."

Nadelen: "To check in I was forced to book seats both ways, then had to pay extra on top of original price to pick the seats. There were a few spare seats on the flight so it wasn't a case of overbooked."
Voordelen: "I think the crew were ok. But I didn't need them for anything. I guess I'm happy they were not rude or miserable themselves. They seemed upbeat which was the only positive thing about this whole trip. Plus I think the pilot stepped on it, cause I think travel time was less than what was planned (I might be missing taxiing time though, so not sure)."
Nadelen: "Well, I can't say I wasn't entirely expecting this. There was over an hour and half delay. Nothing announced. We were in the dark. The plane didn't arrive on time, nothing announced. Boarding was delayed, nothing announced. When boarding was complete, there was an indefinite delay that was only announced quite a bit later. Anyway, the whole experience, including naming Charleroi airport as "South Brussels" is not something I intend to repeat."
Voordelen: "Évidemment le prix et la facilité d'utilisation du site. Sinon c'est un peu comme prendre le train, il faut se débrouiller tout seul. A condition de respecter les règles de la compagnie et de ne pas être trop difficile sur le service et le confort, cela peut aller."
Nadelen: "Le moindre supplément se paie au prix fort, même l'enregistrement sur le site si vous voulez être placé à côté de votre compagnon de voyage. L'embarquement fait un peu penser à la transhumance du bétail... Il ne faut surtout pas perdre de temps ! Si on voyage avec un bagage cabine et que l'on fait son propre check in sur Internet, cela facilite beaucoup les choses."

We take Ryanair because it's cheap. Not for anything else. So when the price jump 50€ there is no interest in taking this company anymore."

Mais le retour n’a pas eu lieu !!! … En effet, je me suis retrouvé bloqué dans un énorme bouchon, causé par l’accident d’un poids lourd qui s’est retrouvé en travers de l’autoroute, et qui m’a fait perdre près de deux heures … Et malgré avoir téléphoné à RyanAir à l’aéroport de East Midlands, pour les prévenir de cet imprévu. J’ai eu beau tout faire pour essayé de rattraper ce retard, mais le traitement de la part du personnel de la perfide Albion, a été plus que lamentable ! Car lorsque je me suis présenté au comptoir d’enregistrement, on m’a renvoyé à la fin de la file d’attente, pour finalement me refuser l’enregistrement car le vol venait d’être clôturé deux minutes auparavant … Une véritable honte ! Qui m’a obligé à relouer une voiture, pour me rendre à l’aéroport de Londres Stansted, y passer la nuit et bien sûr racheter un billet d’avion pour le lendemain, car le prochain vol pour Dinard depuis East Midlands n’avait lieu que deux jours après … En revanche, le lendemain, le vol depuis Londres a décollé avec plus d’une heure de retard, mais là bien sûr, personne n’est venu s’excuser et ce retard n’était pas non plus de leur responsabilité ! Et je vous passe les détails … Un vrai cauchemar !"

Deux sac à dos type randonnée en petit format considéré comme bagage à main et un en valise au dimension exigée donc pas de supplément en soute. Deux heures d'avion où nous n'avons pas consommé donc pas de supplément. Départ à l'heure, arrivée 10min à l'avance à l'aller et au retour. Du coup nickel pour ce mode de voyage."
Nadelen: "C'est pas que j'ai pas aimé et je ne me permettrai pas de râler vu le prix, mais je préfèrerais informer les gens pour ceux qui ne savent pas que c'est une compagnie low cost, effectivement les sièges sont pas très confortables, il n'y a pas vraiment de place, on sent pas mal les vibrations de l'avion c'est pas rassurant ect. Ceci dit on est bien vivante :)"
