Voordelen: "Virgin Atlantic is the best airline I’ve ever flown on internationally. The service is wonderful, from check in to inflight service. Everything went as planned. The food and drinks on board are free and they are an abundance of snacks, much more than we dreamed. The flight attendants are excellent"

Voordelen: "Business class on the 737 is somewhat basic compared to Virgin Australia's A330, but you still get the same great service, and the food is terrific."

Baggage delivery at JFK took forever."

Voordelen: "Superior comfort, class, and style. The crew was friendly and accommodating, the pilots kept you up to date with flight info and departure/arrival time (and kept the seat belt light off almost the entire trip), the food was delicious and offered throughout, and the entertainment was top notch. Seats were comfortable (we had bulkhead row Space+ and they were worth every cent for the international long haul from LAX-BNE and SYD-LAX) and everyone got a pillow/blanket. We got premium noise-canceling headsets, water, and a little care kit including an eye mask and earplugs and a pen to fill out your travel documents. The overhead bin space was huge and we got two free checked bags of luggage up to 50lbs each (I don't know of that's standard or not, or if it came with Space+ seats). SERIOUSLY the best airline."

After calling the helpline I was informed that it is impossible to change the seat after checking in until I am at the airport. No other airline has such an obscure, in efficient rule. Virgin takes pride in being a step above their competition - I didn't see it. I have flown international on Delta, American Airlines, British Airlines, United, and others and any difference in the experience was negligible."

No folding options. One of our friends has a back pain problems and got stuck for 5 hours. There were seats available upfront and Manager Gina could simply change our seats instead of dry “there is nothing I can do” I am not recommending this airline."

Voordelen: "My flight from STX was delayed some 30 minutes. That made a dent in the 57 minutes I had to catch my Delta flight. Naturally we landed at gate A2 and Delta was boarding at Terminal 2 gate B9. Me with my knee replacement can’t run and my wheelchair was not in sight. Thank goodness I had a carryon with wheels. I was out of breath when I got to Delta and the last passengers were boarding. I started panicking and interrupted the ground steward who asked me to wait with a smile. I waited . So when I told them I was standby they waved me on after showing my passport. I couldn’t find my boarding pass. I was pleasantly surprised to get a seat in first class. I was so thankful. My first time. Good things come to those who wait! Thank you Delta."

Not mention who ever signed off saying they filled the plane with food for purchase lied. Very frustrating not only for the crew but for the passengers."

Voordelen: "Delay. First it was about 20 min, then 30, then 49 and 55. At the end more than 70 minutes delay. Too much, too frequent on delta!!!!"

Nadelen: "No leg space whatsoever. I'm 6'8 and am being told to keep my legs in while it is near impossible or I'm eating my legs. I became so uncomfortable I became nauseous. Anyone above 6'4 is having a rough flight."

Voordelen: "Gate personal kept us notified about flight delay. Flight crew was very positive on plane and they were as miserable about the delay as we were. Snacks and drinks were brought out. The gate crew keeping us updated is what saved the name of Delta. If she didnt do that people would have been angry."
Nadelen: "Flight was supposed to depart at 0730. Actual departure was 1045. Three out of seven of the flight crew were not happy about how badly they were being treated by call center and /or management while they were delayed with us at gate. Snacks were brought out because of delay but they were just junk food. Nothing I could eat due to allergies."

Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Voordelen: "Some "perk" for Diamond status on Delta to get to a shorter security line, but customs and immigration was... customs and immigration."
Nadelen: "No available SkyTeam lounge unless you had a business class ticket. As a Diamond flier, I can always access the SkyTeam lounges. Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."

Nadelen: "vanwege de enorme rijen bij de veiligheidscontrole was ik te laat voor mijn vliegtuig. schandalig!"

Nadelen: "The seats we were in were where it went from 4 in a row to 3, so the telvisions were not directly in front of us, and i had to keep my head turned at an angle for ten hours. It sounds silly, but my neck hurt after the flight a little. Might be a pop out tv you can attach that is moveable to fix this"

Nadelen: "They checked my bag at the gate - despite me traveling all over the world NEVER having to check it - and would not take no for an answer, despite me having a 25 minute connection due to their one hour delay. Once boarded there was an incredible amount of empty overhead bins! Bag didn't make it"

Nadelen: "The flight from Copenhagen to Brussels was delayed long enough that I barely made my connecting flight to Frankfurt. However, my luggage did not. I hope it will arrive today."

Nadelen: "Lufhtansa is slipping. They are acting like a budget airline when the expectation is for a full service airline. The online check-in would not let us add bags even though we tried for 3 hours. Not impressed with this."

It was early morning, who would eat a sugary chocolate chip cookie for breakfast? But otherwise, I would fly with Lufthansa again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you!!!!!!"

Nadelen: "Big chaos on airport: 3x changed the Gate, workers at boarding don’t speak English and ask me to speak Germany...everything was terrible and I never use Lufthansa again and don’t recommend to anybody..."

Nadelen: "This flight was the second leg on my trip from New York to Munich. Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Flight crew was pleasant and fine. After learning it was Brussels airlines I went through their check-in process for families and requested kid-friendly meals, but nothing came of it. Slightly disappointed."

Thank you for offering a dietary option that is compassionate toward animals and contributes less to climate change! Now if only the planes were powered by clean, renewable energy... Hopefully that will become a reality someday very soon! Oh, and also the crew on this flight was exceptionally kind and helpful. Thank you so much!"
Nadelen: "I did not enjoy the turbulence, which I suppose is unavoidable. More importantly, I felt quite guilty about the greenhouse gas emissions of my flight. I have decided to cut down on my air travel as much as possible as a way of reducing my carbon footprint."

Nadelen: "Boarding was very confusing. There was an area where they were checking people's bags or something near the gate and you didn't know if you needed to stop at it or continue. They didn't collect garbage before landing. Not only did we have to take our bags off the plane, we had to carry our garbage (drink cups/food served) to the front of the plane to throw out."

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Mais il y aurait aucun probleme si le prix du vol etait à 50% que le vol Lufthansa avec le confort necessaire. Comme j ai dit c'est un low cost à prix normal et je ne trouve pas normal."

La deuxième fois, elle avait oublié."

Nadelen: "There's never anything that looks that appetizing on the menu for the those prices. I brought my own food onto the flight."

Voordelen: "The crew was so nice and helpful. They are all wonderful people at LAX and Regina, SK."
Nadelen: "The plane was hot and cramped. The air didn’t work right causing the flight to be warm and sweaty. My tray table was broken and wasn’t able to hold food and drinks flatly."

Air Canada put us on British Airways instead but did not inform them and when we went to check in at the desk they did not have us in the system which stressed everyone out. We eventually got on the plane but I had to sit in the very uncomfortable middle seat rather than in my chosen seat by the window."

Voordelen: "Our flight was cancelled. Rebooked for two days later, causing us to miss our cruise to Alaska! Never again with Air Canada.So disappointed in missing this trip we had planned for a long time."

Nadelen: "My luggage was left in Houston and that was very inconvenience. And it took a day and a half before it came."
