Nadelen: "It took entirely too long to board the plane. Then there were ‘mechanical issues’ that needed dealt with. Well, don’t have everyone sit on the plane for 60 minutes. Don’t continuously state ‘it’ll be fifteen minutes.’ Just give straight answers"

Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."

Nadelen: "No scheduled pilots for this flight. Pilots that did arrive had their schedule rearranged---they showed up to work thinking they were flying to Seattle. They were asked to step in to fly to Denver instead---20 minutes after our scheduled takeoff time; not horribly late, but seemingly disorganized, which leads to all kinds of thoughts about AA overall competence."

Voordelen: "The setup at Skyharbor airport in Phoenix is a joke. There is no rhyme or reason as to how they do things. There is no organization whatsoever. Nobody knows what they are doing. Agents are rude. They can’t figure out which gate flights are suppose to go out of."
Nadelen: "I didn’t like a single thing. The fact you pay extra money for a so-called choice seat and then you have to wait til more than half the plane is filled is a joke. It’s all about money w you ppl. Quit being so greedy and focus on customer service."

Nadelen: "More than a 2 hour delay in Madrid for American Airlines to replace the seat harness on the Co-pilot's chair. This seems like an evolution that should never delay a flight if the proper preventive maintenance had been performed. Very little info was given and there did not seem to be any concern by the pilot or flight attendants once the flight was boarded due to the delay. I was very relieved, however, when we arrived at JFK and AA had a point of contact helping folks with close flights. We originally had 3.5 hours to make our connection to BWI, but due to the delay, had less than an hour to go thru Passport control, rescreening and entry to the terminal, but we made it. Thank you for the personal representative. I did not get her name, but she was very, very helpful."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed by 3 hours making me late for the next two flights and ultimately costing me an entire day longer in transit. While I understand these things happen, Air Canada's response to me asking for help was abysmal. Ultimately, they didn't care and told me it was my problem. Sadly, one of the first people I talked to really did want to help and arranged flights that would have gotten me back on track but he was prevented from confirming the changes due to management. I will never fly with Air Canada ever again."

Nadelen: "Free wifi for business class customers. $6,000 ticket then asked to pay 10/hr for wifi is insulting!"

Nadelen: "Check in REALLY slow. Seat space unacceptably too small. Couldn’t hear entertainment sound over engine noise with earphones so could not use entertainment. Need better earphones. Chair wouldn’t recline."

Voordelen: "Quick flight. Dlient Service in check-in was excellent, she went the extra mile to change my return flight to a more reasonable time."

Nadelen: "My SAS flight (which was operated by Air Canada) was delayed by more than 2 hours. A friend who was a fellow passenger was charged for 1 piece of baggage. She should have gotten a break from the baggage fee because of the delayed departure. That's another thing. Why is it that some passengers (like my friends and I) didn't have to pay for our checked baggage, but some passengers (like my other friend) had to fork out a fee for her checked baggage? While we were waiting for our trash (after our meals) to be picked up by a lady crew member, she took so long chatting with a couple of passengers that we had to wait a few minutes before she can get our trash. By then I was dying to get to the bathroom and nearly had an accident as a result. In the future, I'll try to avoid flying with any SAS flight (operated by Air Canada) if I can help it."

Voordelen: "I really liked that the time changed to a more reasonable arrival time. Usually that flight gets in way passed 10 and it’s makes for a long day of travel. I appreciated arriving earlier and on time."

Voordelen: "I pre-ordered a breakfast, it was fresh and tasted good."
Nadelen: "The flight crew needed us to check our carry on luggage, due to space issues, but I noticed that there was a lot of extra space in the upper storage that hadn't been used."

Voordelen: "The flight to Santiago was good.. everything flowed well and there were no mess ups from air canada."
Nadelen: "on the way home from Santiago to Toronto, Air Canada made an error and did not check my bags al the way through to my final destination and made me go back through security and customs and re check my bags.. making it so I missed my connecting flight home and lost my job! I had to work that day and the mishap completely threw mms schedule off and costed me my job."

Voordelen: "Good flight, great crew members. Seats were comfortable and there were good entertainment options."

Voordelen: "Flight was late leaving and I had a connection flight - they changed my seat so I could be at the front and get my bag easily and run to get my connecting flight. Everyone was very helpful."

Voordelen: "Friendly crew, direct flight to my destination, took extra time to de-ice properly...thank you."
Nadelen: "No pre check-in with Kayak...annoying! Extremely narrow seats, delay boarding because some people were allowed on before the wheelchair travelers and the aisle got clogged, snarky comments at check in.. “.too many seniors on this flight “ yes, it’s January and it’s going to Florida!"

Nadelen: "I never made it to EWR. Due to an inch of snow in Toronto, my flight was cancelled. I didn't find out until I landed in Toronto. There was no rebooking automatically like on other airlines. Once I did rebook, agent gave me wrong information and made me wait over an hour. I did get home, taking uber from a different airport. But should have been easier."

Voordelen: "Roomy seat even in economy with good entertainment options includes in fare."
Nadelen: "Left 45 minutes late as they couldn't deplane in Calgary due to gate ramp issue on a very light travel evening. Cabin was way too warm to."

Nadelen: "No free snack (like peanuts) was offered. It would be nice to be able to nibble on on a snack along with the one free drink."

Nadelen: "Sadly both legs of my flight were delayed . Runway issues in Vancouver. Weather issues in Calgary ."

Nadelen: "I was disappointed that for the first time since I have been flying, they did not allow my carry-on with me. It was not that bad though because by the time I got through customs and made it to the baggage carousel the bag was waiting for me."

Voordelen: "Food was good. Flight staff was pleasant."
Nadelen: "Boarding took forever. There was a child that screamed the entire way. Wish flight staff was trained on calming children, even though I know it was just bad planning on the parents. Also wish there was a hygiene policy. Half the flight was not wearing deodorant, and you could tell."

Nadelen: "Close to a 4 hour delay. No explanation."

Nadelen: "USB socket broken and non-functioning. Plastic fork snapped and shed tines. A truly ghastly movie selection."

Nadelen: "They should be more thorough in the economy clad cabins to make sure that passengers have their bags put away way before we leave the gate. Flight crew hardly walked through the aisles in economy and were attending to th other cabins more."

Voordelen: "I appreciated that the plane left as scheduled, had plenty of legroom, and was attended by professional and gracious personnel."
Nadelen: "THe previous flight that we took, on June 20th, from Las Vegas to Toronto, was cancelled at the last minute. As we had a tightly-scheduled flight to Amsterdam, we missed that connection. There was no notification given prior to the cancellation, just suddenly came up on the monitors at McCarren Airport. No explanation was offered. THe flight that we were transferred to arrived in Toronto too late to get us onto our Amsterdam flight, and so Air Canada personnel gave us vouchers for food and tried to book us a hotel room. We were ferried to 3 hotels, and turned away at all of them, an dwound up sleeping on the flor of the kid's area at TOranto Airport. we finally got to Amsterdam a day late.and had our trip upgraded to business class for our trouble. I have no quarrel with the treatment that we received from Air Canada personel. THey were very patient and gracious, in spite of a number of irate passengers in the same situation that we were in. However, the failure to have accomodations for stranded travelers was exemplary of poor planning on the part of administration, not personnel. I am really torn as to whether or not to use Air Canada again. WHen it is good, it is very good, but when iit is bad, it is the worst that I've ever experienced."

Nadelen: "Things Beyond your control as an airline... Two kids next to me vomiting for the last hour. And holy moly, Canadians from the Montreal area can talk! The entire flight was filled with passengers non stop talking. Not kidding. And apparently the norm is to say something and then repeat it four times just to be sure. I thought Americans were the most annoying talkers, turns out we have competition."

Nadelen: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"

Voordelen: "New, clean plane. Well trained staff at the desk and on the plane. Left on time and arrived early. To keep cost down they have WiFi on board - you provide your own tablet or smartphone."
Nadelen: "This is Rouge the discount arm of Air Canada. As such the legroom is minimal. The announcements in both official languages were too fast. Get the announcer to slow down a bit!"

Voordelen: "Crews were very nice. I also liked biscuits."

Nadelen: "For the price, the length and the fact that it was an international flight. I would have expected not to be required to paid for luggage and to have some food been provided to us. In particular, after the return flight was delayed considerably due to airplane issues."

Voordelen: "I was given an upgrade to Business so what not to like. The meal I chose was a strange combination that I would not recommend - lentils with chicken and a few carrots. The crew was great."

Nadelen: "Have you heard of an International flight without entertainment? That's just the surface. Our flight from Athens to Toronto was delayed 4hrs causing us to miss our connection to NYC. When customer service was called for assistance to get another flight, we found there were no flights out after 8 pm. I appreciate the vouchers for food and hotel. But after 35hr of traveling to NYC we come to find that our luggage was left in Toronto. Traveling with Air Canada was a series of poor customer care and negligence. I was very disappointed."

Nadelen: "Not serving a meal on a 5 1/2 hour transcontinental flight is unacceptable. Just because you can get away with it doesn't make it good policy."

Voordelen: "The price, kayak beat every other website. Glad my friend suggested I try using it."

Im really sad that I will have to have the same night flight back to Houston."

Nadelen: "Tea - disgusting brown liquid! What about a tea bag, or I gladly would take just a cup of hot water to brew my own. Sandwiches: turkey with cheese or cheese. I am allergic to milk (common allergy), you put milk products everywhere. Vegan is the only option, sadly it is usually some sort of Asian food and I am not Asian, have a gag reflex when I smell Indian food. This was not Air India flight, but smelled like one!!! Will avoid flying with United. Somehow, although I booked on purpose with Brussels Air, without my consent (!!!) I was sold tickets for United operated flight. Please, don't tell me that customers are your #1 priority, because they are NOT!"

Nadelen: "Trop de délai itnutile. L'embarquement a été décalé de 5h! Le WIFI est payant à Chicago et la bouffe coûte chère pour de la mauvaise qualité. Le retard est du parce qu'il n'y avait pas d'avion, personne nous dit pourquoi. Finalement, on embarque et apres avoir attendu 30 min, on nous désembarque parce que l'Avion n'était pas prêt, l'équipe d'entretien n'était pas disponible! finalement, on rembarque pour de bon mais on a attendu un autre 30 min sans nous dire pourquoi. L'équipage fait comme si tout était normal mais on voit par la fenêtre qu'il y un camion de service qui essait de réparer de quoi derrière l'avion. On nous fait embarquer alors que rien n'est prêt. La personne qui s'occupait des baggages a pris 20 minutes apres notre embarquement avant de s'amener. C'était extrêment désorganisé."
