Nadelen: "The fact that my father was diagnosed with Cancer and they wouldn’t refund our 1300.00 for round trip tickets to the Philippines which is our vacation home. The airline required documentation from my fathers doc which I provided. He was not going anywhere for at least a year (radiation and chemo) and the denied even credit.I was able to get my parents tickets refunded by a different airline. NEVER Again. my father passed 8/12/2018. Our trip was scheduled for 9/13/2018. Very disappointing.see"

Nadelen: "1) when my flight was delayed significantly due to weather, I was not notified until I got to the airport 2) when the same flight was cancelled, I was on hold with JAL for over an hour before I could speak with customer service\ 3) customer service could not rebook me for another flight until 3 whole days later 4) I had to look on JAL's website and inform their customer service about flight options that were somewhat sooner 5) no compensation was offered for 2 days of delays and flying out of another city (I paid for my own transport to this other city in order to make my final destination on time)"

Voordelen: "My wife and I made the rookie mistake of showing up to the wrong airport in Osaka but the JAL staff helped us by transferring our reservation to a later flight so that we were still able to make our connecting flight from Tokyo to San Francisco. We're grateful to the entire staff at JAL for saving us a lot of time and money!"

Voordelen: "checking in at chicago ohare ord was a nightmare.there were only 12 of us in line yet the wait exceeded 1 hour , we watched as the airlines next to us processed well over 150 passenger's while the japan airline moved slower than snail sex. it was painfully beyond slow."

Nadelen: "Checking in 48 hrs in advance with no aisles or windows seats for selection. Being stuck in the middle seat 26F for 9 hours. Discovered in LAX that my luggage tags were improperly tagged in TPE. I had someone else's luggage tags on my bags going From TPE to KIX to LAX to Houston instead TPE - KIX- LAX- Austin."
Voordelen: "This complaint is more targeted at American Airlines, which handled the New York Washington leg of the trip. They provided free food such as sandwiches and drinks at the gate due to the 2 hour delay."
Nadelen: "Red eye flight delayed for 2 hours. Then delayed another hour on the runway. No in-flight enternmaint, which would have made it bearable. Descent into Washington Reagan National freaked me out because the plane was flying eratically while being so close to the ground and recognizable landmarks."

Voordelen: "I booked a flight with JAL; my flight to Japan shafted me with American only. But, this flight was premo! The plane was bigger, more room. The entertainment was much much better than the American Airlines archive. The seats and accessories like pillow, blanket, etc. again much better. 12hr flight was over in what felt like about 5hrs (I watched Star Wars and Hunger Games)."

Then my suitcase was busted open at Chicago O'Hare on the conveyor belt and ANA issued me a replacement on the spot. Two problems [ not their fault ] handled beautifully. ANA is truly amazing. Thank You !!"

Nadelen: "I am yet to find an airline that has any semblance of comfort in economy class for someone 6’ 2”, and that isn’t even tall! It would seem that the seats should be tall enough not to have the headrest push on my shoulders.....such as making it adjustable enough to be used as a headrest."
Voordelen: "The crew was not amazing and the plane was ok. Our flight to LAX NH106 was delayed 6 hours. We slept in the airline lounge and given minimal compensation."
Nadelen: "Place the passengers in a hotel rather than have us us crammed in a lounge where you can hear angry passengers arguing."

Voordelen: "The food was great. There was a good selection of shows and movies. The stewardesses came around with water and juice often which was really nice. The bathrooms were clean."
Nadelen: "The decent into Japan was pretty steep. It made me feel a bit sick and I never get motion sickness. Hardest decent I've ever had and I travel every 2 years. The ascent was excellent though and the flight in general was perfect."
Voordelen: "From start to Finish from ticketing to baggage claim we received Premier Customer Service !!!!!"

We need extra time to be organised and in our seats for a very long flight. If not we block the aisle. And that is without consideration for the fact that my daughter has limited sight so needs my help and it takes time. I was disappointed that they didnt come through the cabin from time to time with snacks as most airlines do on long haul flights."
Voordelen: "Everything.. the crew was so gracious and kind even tho the delay was out their control. they even gave us 30,000 Yen or $260 approximately, which they didn’t have to do. i will start flyin ANA... not because of the money, but because of the delay... which no American carrier would have done and would’ve given excuse after excuse."

Not sure why but it was unnecessary to have too many, can't rest or sleep nor continue with viewing the entertainment provided. It seemed like a tired crew this time. The food was not good."
Voordelen: "The airline made sure my family sat together when I couldn't get seats together online. The food was waaaaaay better than the US carriers, and the service was impeccable. 5 stars for ANA all around!"

I wish that ANA will notbpartner with United. It sure tarnishes their brand."
