Nadelen: "Really rude flight attendant even after we boarded and left late. She was rude to people sitting in the exit seats, rudely demanding attention while she rushed through the safety guidelines. She then very rudely told me I had to pay for what I was trying to order, even though I was reading it off the menu? She acted as if I was stupid because I don’t speak swedish, but she did not speak the language of our destination, and it was a connecting flight."

Nadelen: "Rerouted without consultaton - added an extra leg to my trip including a necessary mad dash to catch the make-up flight."
Voordelen: "Everything about the flight was wonderful except baggage claim, in BOTH directions."
Nadelen: "It could have been the perfect trip, but I am not sure why SAS baggage handling is so mediocre. In both the flights from EWR to OSLO and back, every aspect of the trip was super, except for the wait for baggage. In Oslo, I estimate having waited at least a half an hour at the carousel before the bags started showing up, and the same in Newark. We had long cleared Immigration, which normally is not a speedy process, and yet still had to wait at least 20 minutes for the FIRST bag to appear on the carousel. Most annoying, particularly after a relatively long flight, and especially for transfer passengers who needed to recheck their bags to continue to other destinations."

Nadelen: "Was overlooked by the pursor a couple times - he probably had a lot on his plate. Also, the "snack" at the end of the trip was sorely lacking! Especially for a 7 hour flight. The bathrooms were gross & out of toilet paper. And it seemed like one was locked constantly...?"

Nadelen: "Once passengers do final passport check and enter secure gate area on this flight to the US, there’s no bathroom available. On the transatlantic flight, no complimentary glass of wine as on other airlines."

Voordelen: "The flight attendants were very nice and on the cross continent part of our flight we had dinner and breakfast served. Lots of leg room."
Voordelen: "Quite a contrast between international and domestic flights. SAS had a blanket, pillow, water bottle, and earbuds on each seat. We were served TWO meals including a full dinner. Flight crew was very polite and responsive."

Voordelen: "At least on long-haul flights SAS Plus is quite nice, much closer to business class service than your usual premium economy offering. Real silverware, good drinks, pretty good food, plenty of space and a nice blanket and pillow. The lounge in Copenhagen is quite nice too."
Voordelen: "Even though I did not get the seat I paid extra for, it was a great flight."
Nadelen: "Out of all the staff on board they did not give me and a few others those blue customs form, so we made a huge line and when we got to the agent he told us we had to go all the way around fill one out and then come back. The attendants new that those were necessary why so many yet not one made sure we got them lousy service. I wish we got a crew that wasnt so insecure and cared more about providing a good service instead of caring so much over their appearance. I rather have good efficient staff what they look like doesnt matter to me."

Nadelen: "Boarding... the first 20 or so rows were called then "All remaining passengers..." causing considerable pushing, etc. MUST board by sections, etc..."
Nadelen: "Had to pay 70 euro to check 1 bag at the airport!"

Nadelen: "Had to pay €70 to check in luggage - most expensive ive ever seen! No beverages other than coffee and tea abailable, water could be appreciated"
Voordelen: "Easy boarding, food equate for economy, entertainment fine. No wine or beer inc,used in economy but not a big deal. Excellent seating if you know what to chose."
Nadelen: "A very fat man seated next to me and occupied half my seat, very uncomfortable!!!"
Nadelen: "SAS does not even offer wine with the meal, you have to pay for it. Additionally they have the strange policy that they give drinks at frost, that is ALL drinks, including the meal drinks, and then comes the meal about half an hour later. The do not offer ANY drinks with the meal."
Voordelen: "The plane was well kept and the entertainment system worked well with enough choice. The crew was average: no problems."
Nadelen: "The (transatlantic) flight was delayed 8 hours and the only compensation received was 175DKK for lunch. Had to stay in the airport over 11 hours due to this delay and had already had a 16 hour layover from the day before. I realize that unexpected delays may occur, particularly in cases where passenger safety is in question, but delays of more than 5 hours cause major inconvenience and I felt stuck in the airport with my bags and having checked out of my hotel room already. Just compensating for lunch is not enough. In the future a partial reimbursement for the flight, access to the priority lounge or a more comfortable facility such as a hotel would provide the passengers with compensation proportional to the inconvenience."
Nadelen: "I was sitting next to a girl who was not part of my family who got airsick 3 times on the flight. The first time I told the airline attendant and she brought a large plastic bag and some paper towels. The girl but her used airsick bag inside the large plastic bag. I tied the top and put in next to me near the aisle because I expected the attendant to come pick it up. The attendant told me I had to take it to the lavatory and dispose of it in there. It was very hard to get the large plastic bag into the small trash receptacle because it had fill with air. I asked the attendant for another airsick bag but she never brought it. The girl got sick again and she used my airsick bag. While walking the bag up to the lavatory, I asked a different attendant for another airsick bag. They just told me I had to dispose of it in the lavatory and never brought another airsick bag. I had to ask someone for their airsick bag because the girl got sick a third time. I can not believe the horrible service on this flight! The poor girl was crying because she felt so sick and there wasn't anyone to help her. I did what I could but I felt something could have been done by the crew. I will think twice before I reserve another flight on SAS."
