Voordelen: "Everything went smoothly on the rebooked flight the next day through Vienna to Newark USA. The flight on Austrian airlines was quite comfortable, good food and entertainment for the long flight. Boarding and deboarding all very smooth. Very helpful SWISS staff helped locate our luggage when we missed connecting flight the previous day."
Nadelen: "Thunderstorm at Zurich caused delay of our flight into Zurich, and we missed original connecting flight to USA. Many other travelers affected and there were no other flights that day. One wonders if they could have held the flight for one hour or so to allow everyone to make the flight. There was a huge line, 2-3 hours of waiting, at SWISS transfer desk to rebook. It took another 2 hours to locate our luggage. I believe SWISS were required by EU regs to provide overnight accommodations and meals. But the hotel was 30+ km from the airport and we were not confident we would have transport in the morning to make our rebooked flight. Because we could not take the chance already being delayed by a day, we booked an airport hotel at our own expense. Overall experience of the missed connection was negative based on the airline's (SWISS) procedures, but the individual SWISS staff helping us were all helpful and made extra effort to accommodate."

Nadelen: "For 9 hr flight the space between the seats in economy class was way too small. Im 1.75cm (medium) and I felt squeesed and very unconfitable not like in Lufthansa airplane flying from Newark to Dussldorf. (Flight only 6:15min) In addition, when front passenger moved his seat back on me I had a lot of difficulties with getting in and out of my seaat."

I love the flight, crew and their performance. They make sure that you're comfortable and accommodate you to your every need. Voordelen: "CHECKING & SEATING At checking I was able to pick a seat near the exit doors which gave a me a lot more extra room for my legs without paying extra which was much appreciated. LUGGAGE DELIVERY Luggage was delivered in a timely manner which was greatly appreciated after a long flight."
Nadelen: "BOARDING: It was a mess, everybody was called to board at the same time which slowed down the seating process in the place. CREW: Because of certain food intolerances I asked for a special meal and fortunately the meal had been prepared but the crew was not aware it was for me and first gave me the regular meal. Both for lunch and afternoon snack! I would appreciate they know my specifics and don't bring me food I cannot eat. ENTERTAINMENT: I recently made the acquisition of a new and very comfortable pair of noise cancelling headphones which I was excited to use but couldn't because the audio plug required two jacks! I have not seen that in a place for quite some time."

Nadelen: "We couldn't fly Zurich - Malaga due to a 5 hour delay in our first flight : Washington DC- Zurich. We lost our connection and United (who operated the fight) reschedule our flight wrong first of all, our names didn't appear in Zurich to Madrid flight, and it wasn't enough time to do the connection between Madrid Malaga, so we have to spend one night in Madrid. In addition we lost our luggage. They've ruined our vacations."

Flight 10-15-15 from Berlin to Zurich late ... Barely made my flight from Zurich to Bos. Again traveling back by my self .. I love to travel but in this situation .. Found this very stressful. Nadelen: "The air-conditioning was extremely cold; on the positive side, I was given a blanket. The plane did not have any kind of tv screen in which to watch films or programs. Space was unbelievably tight between seats and rows; I cannot imagine a horizontally or vertically big person having any level of comfort. In general, the service was quite poor, making me wonder how does Delta treat the flight attendants, for they seemed tired and careless. The above did not happen in any of my other flights: Atlanta-Guadalajara, Guadalajara-CDMX, CDMX-Atlanta."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed. And then cancelled. We were booked into a later flight 8 hours later that was also delayed again due to weather but we did make it out of Detroit that night. Other people were not as lucky."

Nadelen: "Delta treats any passenger that isn't a member of their skymiles or anyone that doesn't purchase a seat in advance like peasants. You don't get assigned a seat until YouTube up at the airport... That's fine, not really a big deal. But because you didn't select a seat, they don't let you print or view your boarding pass on your phone, forcing you to go to the checking desk. For someone that has TSA pre check and travels alot, all that extra time adds up and can sometimes cause you to miss your flight. Because there is on "fast line" when you check-in like there is at the security check point. I only have this problem with Delta, never American airlines..."

Nadelen: "my flight from JFK to Cancun had entertainment (TV, movie screen, headphones, etc). This one did not. Was kinda disappointed."

Nadelen: "De onbetrouwbare procedures bij KLM en Schiphol. Kan niet online inchecken bij Delta: KLM operated. Alleen op Schiphol. Daar ook niet bij machine. Naar een loket. Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Voordelen: "Some "perk" for Diamond status on Delta to get to a shorter security line, but customs and immigration was... customs and immigration."
Nadelen: "No available SkyTeam lounge unless you had a business class ticket. As a Diamond flier, I can always access the SkyTeam lounges. Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."

Nadelen: "If flight is full all the time get a bigger plane"

Nadelen: "NO ENTERTAINMENT no snacks on the second flight after an hr 24 layover AND 52 minutes delay, seat near the bathroom which smelled horrible"

Nadelen: "All "carry-ons" were taken at the jetway, which was fine. But, when we landed, as passengers were trying to get off of the plane, the attendants were putting all of the collected luggage at the entry to the jetway. It created congestion. Then, anyone who had luggage, had to lineup against the side of the jetway, awaiting their luggage, and increasing the congestion. First, it was inconvenient. Worse, if there was any kind of emergency, I believe it would have created a unsafe environment. Very Poor Design & Process ! ! !"

Voordelen: "Our plane had mechanical issue with a parking brake which they left us know about once we loaded the plane. Unfortunately it was going to take to long so they switched us to another plane."
Nadelen: "Airlines in general need to enforce the carry on luggage rules. If it doesn't match the dimensions for the carry on specks then make the people Check it. Don't let it go. If I paid for a seat and I'm allowed two carry ons then there should be room for them. Don't ask people to check bags because of a full plane. The crew should have there own place to store their belongings, not where the passengers do and take their space. The life rafts need to be easy to get to but again should take up a spot a passenger has paid for their luggage to go. If that is the only space for these items then don't allow passengers to bring two items if in those seats or on the whole plane. It's really disappointing when your told you may have to check your bag because there's not enough room."

Voordelen: "Food and choice of entertainment was excellent."
Nadelen: "Was stuck with the middle seat so I knew what I was in for."

Voordelen: "I had ordered a dairy - free vegetarian meal for the international flight. Initially the attendant brought me a vegetarian meal with cheese, part of the regular meal options, then she found the one with my seat number that was dairy - free. It was quite tasty! And I was grateful, since I would not have been able to eat the meal with dairy. It is not a preference, dairy makes me ill. The delay departing from Brussels caused us to miss our connecting flight to Denver, but our provided hotel accommodations in NY were quite comfortable. One item of note: The LaGuardia staff person, who made our arrangements for the overnight stay, said there was a shuttle from the hotel to JFK ( where our flight was in the morning), so she did not give us a travel voucher for the morning. The Hotel only has a shuttle to LaGuardia; it never has a shuttle to JFK. It seems the staff person should have known that. When we called Delta to ask how we should handle that, Delta kindly offered us reimbursement; it was just a phone call and a mailing for us and for Delta that was extraneous. Our interaction with the staff person was entirely pleasant, we were just surprised that there was misinformation."

Nadelen: "The delay and no free wifi."

Nadelen: "Super loud. Couldn't talk to anyone without shouting. No view out the window, as the engine was about 5 inches outside the glass. Not sure why there even were windows for these seats, as they probably just let in more sound. Also right next to the bathroom, so frequently smelled bad."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "They didn't even get me to Philadelphia they delayed the flight for 6 hours then cancelled it offered to rebook me the next day and $15 compensation when i declined. $15 for pretty much ruining my Christmas nice job delta never again"

Nadelen: "we had to get off plane and use another one. a hr delay but it wasn't that a bad .better to break down on the ground than in the air"

Voordelen: "The gate agent was terrific. There was a delay, but he continually updated everyone about what was going on. Also, I checked on upgrades when I first arrived. About forty minutes later I went over to check the monitor. I didn't even look his way, but he called out to me, asked my name, and checked the status of my upgrade. Very professional and very nice."
Nadelen: "Though a meal was advertised for first class, there was none. I overheard the flight attendants say that catering in Atlanta screwed up, but nothing was said to the passengers."

Voordelen: "Overall, the flight was good. It actually wasn't a Delta flight but an Alaska Airlines flight."
Nadelen: "The aircraft was new model 737-800, very nice! Except the seats are a bit hard. Not good for a 5 hour flight. What really made me angry is I paid for a Delta flight. What difference does it make!? On long Delta flights, you get a meal (you pay for it in the cost of your ticket), but I was put on an Alaska Airlines flight where the meals are $7.50! I think that if Delta puts you on an affiliated airline, they should pick up the tab for the meal. Entertainment is via your smartphone. Don't have a smartphone, no problem, cough up $10 for a 2 bit tablet to watch a movie!"

Voordelen: "Delta has really upped their customer service since the last time I flew with them! EVERYone was so personable and friendly! I was so happy with the experience, I will definitely try to choose a Delta flight as my priority airline to fly! Awesome job Delta crew!!"

Voordelen: "I was able to get a flight on standby an hour earlier, enabling me to avoid a rush hour arrival in Philadelphia. Loved the personal TV screen on back of seat in front of me."

Nadelen: "The cabin crew ignored my repeated calls for service. I willing gave up my seat so a couple could sit together with their kid and sat behind my wife and kids to be nice. They than reclined the seat back and my seat was broken do I asked them to put the seat forward and they ignored me. I informed the cabin crew that they weren't being considerate after all I gave up my seat to them. The cabin crew told me I could leave my 4 yest old and 3 year old alone and move to a new seat."

Voordelen: "Nice plane, free checked bag, and a snack,"
Nadelen: "Left 20 minutes late as the copilot was late, middle row seat (as I refused to pay the seat choice charge, (and it was only a one hour flight.)"

Nadelen: "I was rebooked into FRA from BSL without notification."

Nadelen: "Frankfurt Airport unfriendly and depressed as usual."

Voordelen: "Outstanding service. Complicated flight schedule Malaga-Munich-Frankfurt-Buenos Aires with extremely short lay-over times in Munich and Frankfurt should have been prone to all sorts of problems with other airlines, but not with Lufthansa. Kudos for this! On top of this, extremely comfortable flights with good food, drinks and services topping it off for a most enjoyable Business Class flight experience, if such a thing exists."
Nadelen: "Nothing to report, everything was perfect. A score of ten out of ten!"

Voordelen: "Outstanding service. Complicated flight schedule Malaga-Munich-Frankfurt-Buenos Aires with extremely short lay-over times in Munich and Frankfurt should have been prone to all sorts of problems with other airlines, but not with Lufthansa. Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Slightly disappointed."

Voordelen: "In terms of things I liked flying with UA998 from Brussels to EWR: The boarding staff at Brussels airport was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Boarding procedure was smooth even with the extra security screening at the gate."
Nadelen: "It was quickly clear to me that the passengers where simply an inconvenience to some of the crew on UA998. As an example I fell asleep during take off and woke up in the middle of the meal service. The cart was only a couple of rows behind me in the half-ful Economy Plus section so I got up and tried to get the attention of the staff. The lady turned around and confirmed that "I had woken up" with a sigh, as is not only was it inconvenient to her that I was a sleep, now I had the nerves to actually ask for a meal. She presented me with the options of pasta and chicken and I politely asked what they where served with. She straight out said that "she really did not know that" and asked me to make a choice. I wont get into any other examples, the machine was half full at best and there was no stress, so frustrating to be treated like you are an inconvenience to the USA based staff who clearly just wanted to be left alone. The entertainment system barely worked, the touch monitor was very hard to operate - the pressure sensitive functionality was not working properly but I managed to get to my movie and avoid the Chinese subtitles in the third try. I fly United because it's part of Star Alliance, but otherwise I would try and avoid at all cost."

Nadelen: "Generally, I'm a happy camper and easy to understand some "discomfort" that comes with traveling. Return trip operated by United. Terrible experience. No legroom[I'm 6'-2"]. The seat confinement was so stressing that it was impossible for me but just to extract myself and find a place where i just could stand. Meaning I was standing most of the trip. My wife and myself are globetrotters and this was one of the worse flight experience ever."

Nadelen: "We were worried that our luggage would not make it to our final destination just as it had not arrived on-time at the beginning of our trip from Phila. We were enraged that after printing out our boarding tickets for our 12/21/15, 5:50pm Luthansa Flight to Frankfurt, Germany, that the flight was cancelled the next morning. We were rebooked on American Airlines through Paris, which could not guarantee us a seat on AirFrance to our final destination, Venice, Italy. Next, our baggage did not arrive when we got to Venice and after filling out the claim form for lost luggage and following the directions for following up, Air France never called, sent a text or emailed us when the baggage arrived the next day. Returning from Venice to Frankfurt on 1/1/16, and then on to Philadelphia was a crowded flight, with a wailing baby for much of the trip. We were apprehensive, once again worrying that our baggage would not be on the plane and at the airport in Phila., when we arrived. Though we enjoyed ourselves visiting relatives in Vicenza, Lufthansa made our journey tense, and wrought with anxiety."

Nadelen: "Lufthansa dropped the ball again when it came to supporting/helping someone who is unable to walk. They sent my mobility device through to the next plane. They then sent someone after 20 minutes of me waiting on plane for it, to tell me it was sent through and a wheelchair wasn't available (I'm no weight bearing at all). Person informed me I would have to walk until they could find one? Yeah, the 5'2" person offered a hand but when I'm 5'11" and can't weight bear- I cannot use someone else's assistance. I had to hop from the plane door, all the way up the jet way, past the ticket counters- to the chairs. I've never been so embarrassed as an entire boarding plane watched. No one on the plane even offered assistance in helping me off- they greeted other crew and I just wandered off. After I was seated, I waited why the woman went and found a wheelchair. Why in the world couldn't they have done this beforehand? Forcing me to hop was a major risk. Lufthansa knew my issues and said my account was notated after the first incident."

My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

Our original flight plan had 4 hours. so, because we are a family of 7 with a baby, we had to buy a hotel room to rest, costing us a lot of extra money we had not planned to spend. We contacted KLM for help with the cost but were rejected. We also lost 5 bags somewhere between Chicago and Lusaka, but after 2 days, we received them."

Je comprends pas qu'on travaille en aéroport en plus pas nous indiquer ou même le site au-delà de 15 jours voir d'autres pays quand on y va il nous faut un visa c'est inadmissible de perdre 1000 € sans compter qu'ils ont même pas fait un geste pour au moins reprendre un vol ça ne coûte plus cher que si on prenait un voilà par. Je recommande pas la compagnie Vietnam Airlines ce sont des gros voleurs des escrocs"

Nadelen: "Système divertissements ne fonctionnait pas pour plusieurs voyagers. De toutes façon l'écran est beacoup plus mauvaise que ceux des téléphones portables que ne sont pas smart phones. Les sieges des anciennes avions A340, sont à chaque vol plus mauvaise il font du mal dans le jambes car elles ont la mousse déjà plat sans épaisseur. Même la tapisserie des sieges est assez agée. On se sent dans des avions des années 70. The enterntainemnt system is very old and it didn't work for many passengers for most of the flight. ALso the seats are from the 70's and they are no longer mushy. There is a concave area in the bottom and the edges are hard and make your legs hurt. The holstery smells odd like very old."
