Voordelen: "We were traveling from IAH gto FRA with two dogs. One in a crate and one in a small carry on dog bag. Lufthansa handled the process very well. They expected us at the airport, helped us through the entire checkin with a smile, helpful information and care. They brought us and our dog to TSA and after boarding confirmed that our dog had been loaded and safely taken care of. The cabin crew also checked on us and our in cabin dog. I don't know any other airline that makes traveling with a dog so easy and pleasant."

Nadelen: "The plane was kept at a ridiculous hot temperature the whole flight. There were no air vents above your head and it was god awful uncomfortable for 9 hrs. On our return flight they lost all of our luggage from our whole group of people traveling together. 8 bags lost in total."

Voordelen: "Priority boarding for parents with children was a huge help. Provided extra blankets and most of the crew's friendliness was very appreciated."
Nadelen: "Provided bassinet is much too small for even a 17 months old. Also very hard bedding made it impossible for the kid to sleep. We observed same with the other parents. Alone with that, the height of the bassinet makes it easy for the kid to get distracted. WORSE PART: Our daughter couldn't get comfortable to sleep and got fussy, so I took her for a walk which didn't help much. Since it was bedtime 11pm with 0 to little traffic, and to avoid her crying from disturbing everyone I resorted to one of the bathrooms with her. She did fall asleep for about 1 hour until one the FA came literally BANGING on the door. Very rude even after I calmly explained the situation. So sorry for such people with no compassion nor understanding in their hearts."

Side note: my flight from cape town to Frankfurt was earful... the guy seated next to me had excessive flatulence and their were dueling baby crying for 7/12hrs. IMO infants Should not be allowed on flights over 3hrs in length.... they can ruin a flight for a whole plane"

Nadelen: "Space and comfort. Lufthansa is joining too many airlines in figuring out the exact minimal space a human needs to be able to be seems hurtling through the air. This leads to cramped, tight spaces with little to no freedom to shift your body. Because of this limited space, seats can only recline so far and leave one uncomfortable, though that angle is enough to create even less space for the person behind you or for you, when faced with a reclining front neighbor. So, minimal benefit of minimal recline and maximum discomfort caused for that minimal gain."

Nadelen: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Nadelen: "The plane wasn't refueled and so was not ready for take off once the passengers were loaded. The plane had a technical problem when it tried the first take off and so it had to be abandoned. This was alarming.."

Voordelen: "Pretty basic one hour flight so there's not much to complain about or praise about. I got some sleep which was good."
Nadelen: "The crew had their general Dutch aloofness on form. Chatted to one of the stewardesses in Dutch up until she saw I had a British passport then she decided she could only speak English to me."

Nadelen: "Stewardesses announced that only chicken is available, regardless of any special meal requests (vegetarian etc..). Eventually special meals were located, but not before passengers specifically demanding for them. WTF. Finnair generously pours you a half an glass of wine with meal, for anything more you have to pay for. Supposedly you can buy snacks with money, but there were no menus or pricelists to be found in the seat pockets. Touchscreen functions were barely working on my entertainment screen, the remote control didn't work altogether. WIFI didn't work at all."

Voordelen: ".My flight left on time ,smooth landing and the cabin temperature seemed more normal than the usual cold interior. Cabin crew were friendly and helpful from JFK to Helsinki and Helsinki back to JFK . Overall a good airline but far from premium."

Nadelen: "The food was poor, uninspired, ungenerous, inadequate. Perfunctory service. Poor movie choices."

Instead, rush to airport, pay more by having to pay in person. 2. I also could NOT get my boarding pass online. Instead, forced to drive to airport day before just to be sure I'd be on plane! Finnair counter, Hannele politely double-checked all's well, handed me boarding pass. Hannele told to buy extra baggage online being cheaper. This promise, not accurate. Absurd!"

Nadelen: "Food was terrible. Entertainment system kept breaking."

Nadelen: "Huge lines at the airport for check in and drop off of lugagges. Apparently finnair hasn't heard yet of automatic check in and drop off. After that long wait for boarding and flight delayed. Very little information."

Nadelen: "Plane too old for such a long flight"

Voordelen: "The crew was great! Very friendly, very accommodating!! It was a great flight overall!"

Voordelen: "The flight was great...the staff are wonderful people...they are so sweet and kind...they work so hard...the service was great...I love their personalities..The Movie selection was awesome...Because of my broken leg, they were there to help me right away...amazing crew...will be flying with them again in October....looking forward to flying with British Airways again... Thank you for the care... Yours Truly, Sylvia Smith..."
Nadelen: "I have no complaints at all...."

Voordelen: "The crew was very nice and helpful. It was a short flight and we didn't get a meal, so it is hard to judge."
Nadelen: "My seat was backwards and I was sitting facing the salon."

Voordelen: "great"

Nadelen: "I am 6'1" tall. Seats were designed for 5'1" persons."

Nadelen: "Cold"

Voordelen: "Direct from San Diego to Heathrow."
Nadelen: "The seats are very small--and I am a small woman--so the flight felt cramped. The food was just ordinary airline food--little taste. Coffee served essentially black--no offer of milk or cream. Take it or leave it-- Crew helpful if you could flag someone down. Most irritating: could not check in online for some unexplained reason and required to arrive two hours early. BA does no subscribe to TSA so spent time in a line unnecessarily. AND, then the crew arrived over an hour late so the flight left at least an hour late. The crew explained that their downtown bus did not arrive and they could not arrange one. Given the close proximity to the airport, this should have been a 10 minute cab ride."

Voordelen: "I booked the seats with extra room - really glad I did. The food wasn't bad, the entertainment system worked. I definitely prefer the Virgin Atlantic entertainment system, but I fly AA fairly often and will continue to."
Nadelen: "The airport check-in was absolutely terrible. We were in line so long that an employee came up to us and said "I can't believe you're still here." Neither could I. We get to the airport at least three hours early because of stuff like this, but the incredibly slow line and unorganized way of handling it ate any of the time I'd looked so forward spending at Heathrow (I love hitting Boots etc)."

Voordelen: "Movies Food Comfortable seating"
Nadelen: "Going through security"

Nadelen: "The plane was old. The movies were played in the aisle and the selection was inappropriate/terrible. No kids on the flight and they played a Disney dinosaur movie and the Peanuts movie."

Nadelen: "Service, choice of movies, uncomfortable old seats, impossible to change my seat in advance"

Voordelen: "Service was great"

Nadelen: "No in-flight entertainment and seats didn't recline well"

Voordelen: "The staff was very nice and attentive. Boarding was timely and flight landed 30 minutes early."
Nadelen: "Long flight with no screens on the back of the seats with personal entertainment options. Furthermore, I had a middle seat and my shoulders kept knocking into my neighbors. Worst of all, my seat didn't incline as far as the people on either side of me. Sleeping is already hard on a plane, and this made it way worse...not to mention my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me the whole time."

Voordelen: "Very friendly crew; easy boarding; lunch was tasty; pleasant trip overall."

Voordelen: "The Crew was great. Friendly and attentive."
Nadelen: "Very small seat. Had a big person next to me and was quite uncomfortable"

Voordelen: "The plane is clean and comfortable. The boarding was easy."
Nadelen: "The staff on all SAS flights seem a little lazy."

Voordelen: "I liked the service and the food"

Nadelen: "Requested a window seat, got a middle seat. No food, ither than coffee or tea had to pay for everything. Late departure, nearly missed my connecting flight."

Nadelen: "Seats weren't that comfortable."

Voordelen: "Heel vriendelijk personeel."
Nadelen: "Twee uren vertraging voor een heel korte vlucht naar Brussel door technisch deffect."

Voordelen: "Safe polite crew"
Nadelen: "No entertainment options on plane. Possibly due to 737maxs being taken out of service."

Voordelen: "Cool crew"
Nadelen: "More leg space on economy section"

Voordelen: "On time travel. Check In Staff were kind and engaging."
Nadelen: "On flight staff were minimally attentive. Food was mediocre."

Voordelen: "Crew was good. Flight was delayed by incoming flight from Oslo so I was anxious that I might miss my connection in Oslo. Flight attendants announced connection gates for transit which was very helpful."
Nadelen: "Perhaps a little more communication about delayed flights. Even though passengers were asked to let connecting passengers through at disembarking, it was still very difficult. Perhaps back stairs to the plane as well as front would have helped."

Voordelen: "Good crew"
Nadelen: "Premium economy wasn’t as good as others"

Voordelen: "Great flight = short so food was not expected"
Nadelen: "all goood"

Voordelen: "Everything about the flight was wonderful except baggage claim, in BOTH directions."
Nadelen: "It could have been the perfect trip, but I am not sure why SAS baggage handling is so mediocre. In both the flights from EWR to OSLO and back, every aspect of the trip was super, except for the wait for baggage. In Oslo, I estimate having waited at least a half an hour at the carousel before the bags started showing up, and the same in Newark. We had long cleared Immigration, which normally is not a speedy process, and yet still had to wait at least 20 minutes for the FIRST bag to appear on the carousel. Most annoying, particularly after a relatively long flight, and especially for transfer passengers who needed to recheck their bags to continue to other destinations."

Voordelen: "Door sneeuwval vertraging bij de start waardoor vervolgvlucht niet gehaald. Bij landing bleek omvorming al geregeld te zijn"

Voordelen: "Le personnel de bord a été très agréable et professionnel. L'embarquement à Stockholm est très bien fait et il n'y a pas de perte de temps."
Nadelen: "Par contre, c'est une seule boisson par personne le reste est payant, les repas sont très moyens et le système de divertissement est très très mauvais. Les contenus sont vieux et l'application est très lente et pa réactive du tout."

Voordelen: "Excellent staff!"
Nadelen: "All airplanes are 2 Noisy. (Of course this is not the fault of SAS). I use noise canceling headphones that helps a lot. EBut the background noise level always strikes me as too much!"

Voordelen: "Friendly staff"
Nadelen: "n.a."

Nadelen: "They only offered tea and coffee for free as a drink and nothing anything more, and were not kind at explaining this."

Voordelen: "Very friendly crew Intime departure and arrival"
Nadelen: "It was extremely cold in the plane (I was in row 32). Many passengers had the blue blanket wrapped around them even over their head"

Voordelen: "Nice planes with all the basics you need"
Nadelen: "Terrible food"

Voordelen: "Quite a contrast between international and domestic flights. SAS had a blanket, pillow, water bottle, and earbuds on each seat. We were served TWO meals including a full dinner. Flight crew was very polite and responsive."

Voordelen: "Plane was quite empty"
Nadelen: "Plane wasn't in the best shape"

Voordelen: "Safe departure, flight and landing."
Nadelen: "An in flight breakfast snack would have been appreciated. The drinks served were okay. Nothing special."

Voordelen: "Crew were good. Plane new and clean."
Nadelen: "I think the only free drinks are tea and coffee."

Voordelen: "Fast on fast off"
Nadelen: "We got moved twice and then to a middle seat. Why have checking at all?"

Voordelen: "Entire crew very attentive!! We ate like Kings!"
Nadelen: "Long layover in Newark! My fault for not noticing when I booked it!"

Voordelen: "Great flight very happy"

Voordelen: "Plane was clean, flight staff was friendly."
Nadelen: "No problems!"

Nadelen: "The flight was cancelled causing a domino effect of plans. I spent the evening and morning canceling and trying to reschedule plans. Your airline rebooked me for a flight the next day that ended up having air filter problems. I lost 3 days of vacation from the 10 total I get a year and from the 8 I had taken for my vacation."

Nadelen: "Cattle call boarding in a culture where standing in que is unheard of."

Voordelen: "Quality of service and equipment"

Voordelen: "This flight was also one of the best I have taken. I enjoyed it very much."
Nadelen: "It was a little upsetting to see and hear one of the crew members be a little nasty with my sister when he asked her about the meal. She misunderstood and asked for chicken andvhe was quite nasty when he corrected her and gave her the two options."

Voordelen: "One included checked bag"
Nadelen: "We were being charged for bottled water and soda"

Nadelen: "I have already answered this question. Enough."

Nadelen: "A very dishonest experience. The booking never made it clear that I was not allowed to check my suitcase and I had to pay € 70 extra both coming and going and thereby paid 1 1/2 times more for my suitcase than for my ticket. I am very disappointed to be 'tricked' in this way and consider it a very dishonest business practice."

Voordelen: "The cleanliness"
Nadelen: "I Had checked several times to make sure I had 2 bags included ( standard for US-EU flights) and every time. At the airport I had to pay an extra charge for my second bag which made the flight very expensive and just ruined the whole experience for me"

Voordelen: "New airbus with good entertainment screenset clean"
Nadelen: "Delays on boarding (on departing as well as returning home) Damaged luggage"

Voordelen: "nothing exceptional but the attendant did give us some water for free."
Nadelen: "This is a non frills flight and that was expected but I NEVER expected to pay for bags to be checked on an international flight. 66 Euro per bag. It was the first time I had paid for checked bags on an international flight. I will look elsewhere next time."

Voordelen: "Wheel chair service excellent."
Nadelen: "No wet wipes on the food trays !"

Voordelen: "Efficacité dans la prise en charge du retard et du rebooking d'un autre vol."
Nadelen: "Retard + re-booking de notre vol sans explication, ni possibilité de trouver facilement des informations à ce sujet"

Nadelen: "Unfortunately we had to postpone our trip due to a family crisis. I called in an attempt to receive a voucher or some credit. I was advised that a change was possible, but that with penalties and taxes, it would amount to MORE than the price of the ticket. Hell of a way to run a railroad!....speaking of railroads, that gives me an idea for when we reschedule!!"

Voordelen: "I would have like to have more options and live news an sporting activities on the flight."

Voordelen: "Nice crew"
Nadelen: "The flight is very noise they never turn off the lights and close the windows so it's very hard to try to sleep."

Voordelen: "Reasonable price"
Nadelen: "Very hot, small seats"

Voordelen: "It flew"
Nadelen: "The effort put in to work with change of plans"

Nadelen: "We were delayed and not updated for an hour and a half with no water or refreshments on the aircraft, which is crazy!"
