Contributing to the positive experience was the friendly agent at check-in at BUD."

Nadelen: "The seats are so incredibly small for a long haul flight. Two people must compete for shoulder space, as there simply isn't enough room for both to sit back completely. Constant elbow issues and a feeling of being locked into a small space. I've never been so happy to exit from a flight. Note that on the JFK-BUD-JFK route, LOT subcontracts to a low-cost Portuguese airline, so this plane isn't configured for a trans-Atlantic flight, at least not for a minimal level of comfort. Never again. Pay more for a decent seat on another carrier! And take a large bottle of water, as they're not at all generous with the water, soda, and juice. My seatmate and I were parched and couldn't wait to clear customs so as to buy a bottle of water."

The seat did not decline, the screen of the monitor was cracked, the bathrooms were disaster zones, there was literary nothing on the entertainment program. The passengers were nice though!"

Voordelen: "Boarding was quick and well organized despite the full flight. In fact check-in and security were pleasantly quick in Budapest. The flight time was almost an hour shorter than scheduled which was a pleasant surprise - it was great to have at least four of the cabin crew who spoke Hungarian. As the people in front of us didn't recline their seats, we had decent legroom. Food was good, cabin crew were attentive."
Nadelen: "Nothing - though arrival in Chicago was not pleasant - huge lines at immigration and customs - took an hour and half from getting off the plane to getting out of the customs hall."

They have to definitely announce to the passengers THEY WILL BOARD AS PER GROUP NO. . NEED NOT MAKE A BIG LINE JUST RELAX ON THE CHAIR . PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF STANDING in the line for a long time May be they need to have more group Nos to easy facilitate boarding . This is only a suggestion. If they want to improve customer experience and travel again with them"

Voordelen: "The flight was good. Budapest is an easy enough airport to deal with though why LOT only has one desk available at check in for economy passengers is questionable. The second desk for important passengers did become available when there was no one in line there, but still. Flight crew, staff were all helpful and approachable. Captain gave passengers relevant information and cabin crew did the same. The Flight was problem free no turbulence no delays just well run and well organized."

Voordelen: "Overall the flight was pleasant - the Bombardier is a great plane - there was enough leg room and space. I had a lovely view of the Tatra mountains. Captain made a couple of announcements and kept us informed of flight time, progress and so on. No complaints at all."

Nadelen: "The airport wasn't ready to except foreigners. The personal at customs hardly could communicate in English, always switching to Polish. The custom officer forgot return transfer ticket. So, I had in no time to ask at the check point tofi s my name in the list and give me another tickets. It was very stressful."

Voordelen: "The crew was nice and courteous. Many amenities to pass the time. Getting off the plane was quick and painless. Food was reasonable."
Nadelen: "The flight was delayed an hour, which is fine, but no information was given to why and we started boarding at the updated takeoff time. The process of getting zones lined up and on the plane was a mess. They didn't communicate clearly about zones so every passenger got up and in line, lines weren't directed well, and people kept getting chastized for not knowing what was going on. Once we boarded the plane, we sat for an hour with no reasoning why we waited. When you already have a 9 hour flight, less time stuck in your seat is best. It was hard to understand the pilot when he spoke in English to know why we had delays and any updates while on the plane."

Nadelen: "We arrived at the airport at 4:30 for 6:25 flight and there were only 3 open windows to check baggage for 4 different airlines. There were over 200 people in line extending out the door and no one was present to explain what was happening. Soon additional clerks arrived and the line began to move, but it took 45 minutes. The gate area was not large enough for all the passengers and there were seats for only a few while we waited and waited."

Nadelen: "We paid extra for economy plus, but they completely messed up that part of the reservation. Multiple phone calls and run around at the airport. The "upgrade " is a nice one but the hassle was stressful and still not sure if I'll get the $ straightened. Front of plane warm, but back cold."

Voordelen: "Did not like airline so much."
Nadelen: "Staff did not allow access to lavatories when they were serving drinks and the long waits after were ridiculous"

Nadelen: "Travelling out to Budapest our flight was delayed about 40 minutes. We had a connection in Brussels and had to run from B terminal to A to reach on time. We reached the flight, however bags did not make the connection. We received bags next day at hotel. Travelling home, the flight was delayed 1h30m, the gates were shifted 3 times for departure, we had to sprint this time for conmection again B to A terminals. On the flight we were told Edinburgh connection would be rebooked so go to desk, however we made the flight just and so did the luggage, if we had waitied as told to rebook our luggage would have landed in Edinburgh with us stuck in Brussels. Won't be using again."

Voordelen: "Franchement avec tout le retard accumulé c’est juste complique ´s’ apprécier le professionnalisme de l’ équipage..."
Nadelen: "Notre vol Rome Nice a était décalé par 3 fois... au final nous sommes partis avec un retard de 3h30, de ce fait nous avons atterri à Nice à 1h30 du matin!!! Il a fallu prendre un taxi tant il était impossible de faire attendre un membre de notre famille au beau milieu de la nuit. Et comme dédommagement sur place on nous a donné une carte pour ce restaurer qui elle était créditée de 4,50€, une mascarade vraiment...: Très mauvais service en Résumé!!!"

Nadelen: "Notification of which Gate!! All the steps Down to the tarmac then up the plane steps!!! Priority- didn't seem to mean anything- everybody boarded the same!! The Cabin crew- Rushed announcements!! And worked as I feel robots!! But definitely got Value for Money!!!"

Nadelen: "The cabin was a bit grubby."

Nadelen: "Checking opened 20 minutes late and lengthy queues through security meantwe had no time to grab food/shopping as we had to rush to gate as no notifications that our flight was actually delayed by an hour. Everyone was herded onto buses to wait there for some reason rather than at gate"

Nadelen: "Il y avait peu de stabilité pendant le voyage et le décollage et atterrissage assez mauvais"

Nadelen: "D’abord aucun service. Les agents à l’aéroport étaient en grande discussion et riaient ensemble pendant que des dizaines de clients attendaient d’avoir leur aide. Ensuite, des frais d’enregistrement. J’ai voulu m’enregistrer d’avance avec l’application (comme la charmante agente de Ryanair m’a dit de faire), mais l’application ne fonctionnait pas, et le site web mobile m’informait que je devais m’inscrire sur l’application. L’agente a dû se rendre à l’évidence qu’elle devrait m’imprimer mes billets. (Comme n’importe quelle compagnie aérienne autre que Ryanair) Ensuite je lui ai demandé où je pouvais enregistrer mes bagages, et elle m’a dit que je n’avais pas à le faire, que je pouvais me rendre directement à la « gate », comme elle m’a dit. Je lui ai répété à plusieurs reprises que je devais mettre mon bagage en soute, que je ne l’apportait pas avec moi, mais elle me disait que tout était okay. J’ai fait la file durant 45 minutes pour me faire dire que je devais aller enregistrer mon bagage. Quand j’ai expliqué la situation au gardien de sécurité, il m’a simplement dit: « Ah. Vous voyagez avec Ryanair? » Je suis retourné au comptoir de Ryanair, pour faire moi-même le check-in de mon bagage, où j’ai eu la surprise de devoir payer 80 euros supplémentaires pour mon bagage et celui de mon conjoint, soit plus que le prix de nos 2 billets d’avion. Une fois ce montant payé, une agente m’a dit d’aller porter mon bagage ailleurs dans l’aéroport, puisqu’apparemment, nos sacs étaient devenus « over-sized ». En chemin, je demande à une autre agente Ryanair qui me dit que mon bagage doit aller exactement où j’étais. Bref, personnel non professionnel, qualité du service zéro, prix médiocre, confort de l’avion moins mille. Pas d’itinéraire, on ne comprenait rien de ce que les agents de bord disaient, ni les pilotes, pas de goûté. Et dieu sait que je n’ai pas eu le temps de manger avant de prendre ce vol. Qu’on ferme boutique. J’espère que cet avis sera lu et prise au sérieux. Considérez la présente comme la première étape de ma plainte auprès de Ryanair, et de KAYAK. -Catherine Desjardins"

Nadelen: "Ryan Air have changed their online check in system with flights.Basically i was forced to pay for a seat spot on my return flight because they only allow 48 hour check in before flight if you dont purchase a seat. Because of the risk of not having access to print out my boarding pass when in Hungary while checking in there for the return part and that the app may not have worked on my phone it resulted in me paying additional fees or pay a larger sum to check in at Hungary airport. .Online check in should not be locked behind a paywell.This is dishonest business. The flight on the way delayed with no explanation and the company didnt bother to notify the airport of this and update the times on the boards or atleast a delayed notification at the airport. They tried to rush the boarding because of the fact they were delayed and boarded all passengers at same time in both priority and non priority queues which kind of defeats part of the purpose of those people paying the extra for priority boarding. Also this return journey of the flight was delayed too with no communication of a delayed take off. Despite the fact that Ryan Air claim to have the highest percentage of flights arrive on time i have yet to witness a single flight of theirs arrive on time which has me to believe the company is falsifying information on this record."

Voordelen: "Reasonable price."
Nadelen: "Was sat nowhere near my group of friends, know one on the plane was sat with who they travelled with. Plane was running late."

Voordelen: "Vol à l'heure, même un peu en avance."
Nadelen: "Sac à dos mis en soute au retour et pas à l'aller (même compagnie Ryanair pourtant)... Placement aléatoire gratuit mais volontairement séparés par Ryanair pour forcer à payer un supplément pour changer de siège (de plus les prix sont trompeurs car pas à partir de 4 euros)"

Voordelen: "Off ons time no extras got here quick all I want"
Nadelen: "Was perfect"

Nadelen: "Premierement, le personnel de l'aeroport est totalement irrespectueux a l'aeroport frankfurt hahn. Et deuxiemement, les gens sont tres bruyants dans l'avion apres avoir bu de l'alcool. Je pense que des regles plus strictes concernant l'alcoolemie des passagers dans les vols devraient etre mises en place."

Nadelen: "2 hours delayed. No information."

Nadelen: "It was delayed"

Voordelen: "Rien"
Nadelen: "Ryanair ... Quelle déception ... Voilà 5 jours que je tente en vain de faire le check in de mon vol retour (celui du vol aller ayant été fait en ligne) et que je ne peux pas accéder a la moindre carte d’embarquement. J’arrive donc en avance à El Prat, pour m’entendre dire que je dois régler 55€ en CB afin de pouvoir procéder à l’enregistrement. Une honte. (Sans parler de la charmante dame au check in qui s’est permise de voler mes lunettes de soleil, cadeau d’une famille balinaise auquel je tenais énormément, sur le comptoir, après m’avoir « dérobé » lesdits 55€) Quelle honte, mais quelle honte ..."

Voordelen: "Flight was cheap and it got me home."
Nadelen: "At Budapest airport Ryanair’s gate B9 there was no communication or it seemed any system in place. Plus the gate itself was so small all passengers couldn’t fit."

Nadelen: "Delay 90minutes.. Miss the rent a car.. Lost a bunch of money. Never again Ryanair"

Nadelen: "45 minutes pour recuperer des bagages a l'aller 1 heure de retard au retour"

Voordelen: "Low cost"
Nadelen: "Passengers treated like cattles. Not prepared at all"

Voordelen: "Nouveau Boeing avec une cabine totalement repensée. Un bon vol dans son ensemble, Ryanair s'améliore de plus en plus: service..."
Nadelen: "Embarquement mal organisé et très retardé. Personnel non aimable..."

Nadelen: "More than 1.5 hours delay, they took my luggage from me, so I had to take out my laptop because the Budapest airport luggage handler thieves. Very loud speakers inside, the seating is very uncomfortable, small legspace and also you cannot put even your glasses in front of you because of lack of storage place. long walking to and from the plane, and you have to wait for ages in front ot the checking desk, than in the hot bus down. Overall totally inhuman experience."

Voordelen: "Rien !!"
Nadelen: "Retard de 4H30 environ, manque d'informations, retardé petit à petit de sorte qu'il est impossible de faire quoi que ce soit d'autre que de traîner dans l'aéroport... Vol prévu à 6H15, à 9H00 (nouvelle heure supposée jusqu'à... 9H00) on nous donne 5 euros de voucher... Je reste avec la même impression que j'ai d'habitude avec cette compagnie : "plus jamais, je n'aime pas être traité comme du bétail" Et puis en général je craque sur les prix évidemment... Des bus (pourris) avec des ailes, ils ne s'en cachent pas..."

Nadelen: "We had to wait a little on the tarmac with no A/C. Understand they want to save gas but its getting real hot in there..."

Voordelen: "Depart à l'heure avec quelques minutes d'avance à l'arrivée. Accueil très sympathique des agents d'escale à l'aéroport de Bratislava."
Nadelen: "Le confort des sièges de l'avion est vraiment perfectible bien que l'espace au jambes soit correct."

Voordelen: "Your personal in plain is young, nice and I like them becouse they are smailing all time."
Nadelen: "You can give to pasenger one drink (coffee) like preasen!?"

Voordelen: "Everything ok"

Nadelen: "30 minutes waiting, New lugguage policy!"

Voordelen: "The originally cheap ticket sucked me in, this company is disgusting."
Nadelen: "Price ended up doubling after showing up to airport."

Voordelen: "Ryanair is fair for customers , prices are cheap enough , I've seen some people saying that we have to pay for everything but what did you expect for that price?"
Nadelen: "The food is terrible but we know that..."

Nadelen: "2 bagages en cabines mis en soute. Une des deux valises complètement cassée et ne pouvant plus fonctionner. Tous cela sans le savoir car le personnel ne fait même pas l'effort de vous expliquer. Sans compter les 2h30 de retard mais pas remboursable car cela ne dépasse pas les 3h. Un scandale cette compagnie qui ne devrait même plus exercer sa fonction."

Nadelen: "3 hour delay at Stansted to collect luggage, with no information. Arrived home at 4:30am, having missed the last train."
