CDG, fidèle à lui même. Pas assez de place pour s’assoir, restauration en souterrain et très moyenne.

Après un retard de 2h

Un gros effort a été fait par les équipages d’Air France depuis quelques années pour améliorer l’expérience client et c’est franchement une réussite. L’accueil est chaleureux et convivial et le service à bord est réalisé avec compétence et avec le sourire. Continuez comme ça, ça fait du bien et ça tranche avec un certain nombre de compagnies aériennes beaucoup moins accueillantes !!

Le vol avait presque une heure de retard et à l’embarquement (nous ne voyageons qu’avec une valise cabine pour ne ps faire la queue au carrousel), l’employée Air France, sans un sourire, d’un ton impérieux et sans pouvoir argumenter nous prend nos bagages, les enregistre …. Et en laisse passer plein d’autres ! On comprend que l’avion est plein mais peut-être un peu d’amabilité n’aurait fait de mal à personne. Embarquement à revoir, vraiment, même un samedi de rush … pour des étrangers, imaginez ce que donnerait un tel comportement en terre d’image de marque et d’accueil en France …

La sympathie de l’équipage est à saluer. En ce qui concerne le confort des sièges je me trouve assez déçu.

Luggage handling. Arrived in Johannesburg without my luggage. Communication regarding lost luggage is basically non-existent.

Upon purchasing the ticket, it stated that, checked bags would be $30 each, so I expected to pay only $30 for my second bag, being as my first checked bag came with the price of the ticket….instead, I was charged $75 for my second bag and not $30, like the price I saw… :-( very disappointing.. I was tricked.,.

On est un cran en dessus d’une compagnie comme Air France. La qualité et la quantité des plateaux repas est décevante, le personnel navigant est désagréable, peu prompt à répondre de manière aimable aux demandes des voyages. Ils semblent tous énervés et réagissent de manière brutale.

Delta airlines n’est pas une compagnie au niveau d’Air France. Les plateaux repas sont décevants et le personnel navigants est désagréables et quelque peu brutales, constamment énervés et peu prompt à répondre aux demandes des passagers.

Not the best crew. Extremely annoying with mask wearing. Even when I was eating and drinking they would come up to you to tell you to wear your mask. Extremely annoying.

Everything was satisfactory, but the plane is in the older side and the food and entertainment options were mediocre

Old Boeing 737 for a 7 hour flight (usually it is a wide body 777 or 787). Business class seats are worn, no entertainment, flight was delayed and arrived more than an hour late. Boarding was by bus where we waited long in the bus and then had to stand in the rain in queue waiting to board.

Dans l’ensemble le service est agréable, mais j’ai surtout déploré le rationnement de l’eau. On est servi dans des sortes de petits gobelets .

Voordelen: "we had an overnight stay in addis ababa so we got a free accommodation in town, that was so great, a chance to see town and get a good night sleep before our next flight. the plane is big with screens so you can watch movies, the seat is comfortable, even for a tall guy like me (1.9 m)."

Nadelen: "The aircraft deployed is old no entertainment facility...you cannot charge your phone."
Voordelen: "I had an entire row to myself so this greatly improved my experience, but if this had not been the case I don't think I would have rated my flight as high."
Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "3 hours late outbound. return flight cancelled. made us wait at the aiport for 12 hours. worst flight of my life."
Voordelen: "I like that the trip had no stops and the food was ok."
Nadelen: "The check-in counter did not have a credit card machine for me to pay my extra bag fee. This made things very inconvenient for me because I didn't have cash. I had to leave the airport to find a place with wifi because I didn't have service and the airport doesn't have WiFi. I had to contact a family back home in the US to wire me money. The money never came thru and I had to make a cash advance with my credit card which resulted in me having to pay fees. The entire process almost caused me to miss my flight and the lady at the check-in counter tried to keep my change. After wasting all the time getting the money to pay for the extra bag fee the staff were rushing me to get to the plane and threatening me I would be left behind even though it's not my fault I'm running late. I was not happy with my experience."
Voordelen: "Le personnel très aimable et très respectueux. Repas et petit dejeuner bien, mais il ne faut pas etre très exigeant..."
Nadelen: "Le matériel mis à disposition (écouteurs) sont d'une qualité très moyenne. il est impossible d'y accrocher la mousse sur le casque. Le logiciel permettant de naviguer sur la tablette est un peu capricieux..."
Voordelen: "la ponctualité Collation sur un vol très court"
Nadelen: "Il n'y a eu aucun avertissement de turbulences. Nous avons eu un gros trou d'air au décollage qui nous a très vite plonger dans un instant de panique. Aucun mot des hôtesses, même le capitaine n'a rien dit... Pas un seul sourire des hôtesses à l'arrivée. Le vol était extrêmement bruyant (vétusté de l'avion)"

Nadelen: "Didn’t get a blanket at night"
Nadelen: "The plane boarded at 9:30am and then we sat on the tarmac for 5 hours waiting for a new pilot. We were not fed, or told how long it ws going to take. After 5 hours, we finally took off, but were not offered food for another two hours. The 11.5 hour flight turned into a 16 hour flight..."
Voordelen: "On board movie selection is good, however could be a bit larger."
Voordelen: "The crew is laid back and not fake-polite while not dismissive."
Nadelen: "No major complaints except punctuality."
Voordelen: "No complains means i LOVED everything. From start to finish."
Nadelen: "No complains on this flight."
Voordelen: "The food from Uganda flight was lacking quality"

Voordelen: "They wheelchaired my companion to the airport after delayed medical examination to make the flight."
Nadelen: "Kenya changed my flight to two hours later 18 hours before I was to leave. Making me have a 10 minute connection. Then after an hour in a airline office they promised to hold my connection. When my flight landed on time, they did not hold my connection. So they changed my flight and didn’t follow through on the fix. We would now miss wedding activities and business meetings. Then my partner got sick and they refused to taxi us to hotel for the night but take a bus that leaves every three hours. Her sickness got worse and there was a Kenyan airlines doctor who evaluated her at the airport after waiting 40 minutes laying at check in with her crying due to pain. We had a medical release from the doctor saying she needed extra space to lay down but the check in manager refused to make room for her saying the flight is full and she would not upgrade her to accommodate the medical release because we had an economy ticket. My partner looked so bad that the flight crew considered kicking us off but eventually made the space for her to lay down and were helpful on the flight. This is this disgraceful and the worst experience I’ve had with any company."

Nadelen: "Crew were always in a bit of a rush and cold, Paris airport staff were frankly rude sometimes"
Voordelen: "The seats were comfortable, good entertainment, good food and lovely crew"

Voordelen: "great food, entertainment was good. host and hostess were friendly and professional"
Voordelen: "the service was very good. The food was well done."
Nadelen: "We only had 30 minutes to catch this connecting flight due to our incredibly delayed PrecisionAir flight. We got to the service desk to get our boarding passes and there was only one person to service a multitude of people. Of course they knew that a flight was coming in, why there was only one personnel is still a mystery to me. The person who served us, Victor K., was probably the least helpful customer service personnel I've come across. He was very slow, considering that he knows there's a lot of us trying to get to our next flight. We ended up missing our connecting flight. And for some reason, the plane left earlier than the time it was supposed to leave. Another mystery to me. Shouldn't their system have told them that there were a few passengers on the previous flight that was supposed to board this connecting flight?! They did give us a free hotel for the night, or so they call a hotel. The food served was just horrendous. They just served whatever is enough to be considered "food". I will never fly with Kenya airways ever again. They are so unreliable, irresponsible, and have very little regard to customer service."

Nadelen: "I didn't like the fact that i couldn't reach out to a representative at the airport at 1am thus missing my flight. When their offices opened trying to get them to book me on the next flight, i was told to pay full price. Their customer service is a complete joke. They should stay out of business."
Nadelen: "Food was terrible throughout Seat was tight"
Voordelen: "Plane was a new Dreamliner and nice to fly in with excellent entertainment package."
Nadelen: "I had 3 hours in Johannesburg before catching a shuttle bus, so being an hour late wasn't a big problem. After rushing from Entebbe flight which was an hour late leaving and arriving, I got to the gate to be informed that this NBO to JNB flight was an hour late in departing. Pilot said it was due to "technical difficulties". My ticket had 4 legs : Nov 28 due to leave JNB at 1:20 finally left at 8:30 due to NBO runway closed from plane belly landing - the pilot was very apologetic - LATE. Dec 5 NBO to Entebbe was an hour late due to "passenger problem and luggage taken off" - LATE. Dec 10 Entebbe to NBO left an hour late due to "plane arriving late" - LATE. Dec 10 NBO to Johannesburg was an hour late due to "technical difficulties" - LATE. All 4 flights were at least an hour late leaving and arriving yet the pilots all said thanks for flying Kenya Airways - the Pride of Africa. This is what Africa should be proud of ?!? and Kenya Airways is proud of ?!? Passengers I talked to all were negative in their comments about Kenya Airways. All said there is ALWAYS something of a problem on a Kenya Airways flight. Lady on NBO to EBB flight next to me as we boarded plane and I said everything has gone smoothly so far, replied - the flight isn't over yet - and then we sat in the plane for an hour while they "removed passengers luggage". A man in NBO departure area as we waited to board JNB late flight said, the procedures and organisation are terrible with problems most of the time, which was why he was using up his reward miles because he didn't want to fly Kenya Airways again. This is the culture of this airline which is allowed to continue with seemingly no regard for the paying customers. If the powers that be such as the FAA, imposed a $100 credit to each passenger for late leaving or arriving, I would have received $400 back on a ticket that cost $750. Maybe the airlines would do something practical to remedy their problems and care for the paying customers rather than just saying "we are sorry for any inconvenience "."

Nadelen: "Kenya airways is a symbol of operational disorder and absence of any client orientation. I would strongly recommend Kyak to take it off its recommended airlines"
Nadelen: "so arrive on KQ flight from bangkok which had been delayed so missed connecting flight to arusha. Then due to a complete lack of communication within the kq staff they made me miss the next connectign flight too and then expected me to wait another 10hrs for the next available flight to arusha."
Voordelen: "KQ is one of the few I like among African airliners for its streamlined system and staff's friendliness. This time i took note of a young male CA called Tonny who was very smiley all along, demonstrated care towards all passengers, and seemed to enjoy his work genuinely - which is sadly hard to experience with other global airliners. The staff are well-trained, unlike ET, interacting with passengers on an Raul footing, and it was a pleasant journey this time as well."
Nadelen: "I am not quite sure if the staff checking passengers in for the flight in EBB were KQ employees, but with that reservation, I was quite disappointed to learn hat KQ does not provide accommodation for 11-hour transit in Nairobi and make its clients stay inside the airport. I almost assumed that the overnight accommodation is given for such a long layover, but nooo! Even when I asked the checkin lady at the alone counter desk at EBB return modestly, "Do you by any chance provide a hotel room for me for the long transit?" She had the guts to say a straight no without a smile or looking into my eyes. I eventually booked a hotel room on my own which cost me nearly $100. I thought that was ridiculous service modality for a major African airliner."
Voordelen: "I liked the courtesy of the staff"
Nadelen: "The planes on this route are also very old with manual screens,unnecessary delays. I mean KQ needs to style up. Another airline will soon sweep them off business"
