Nadelen: "No backseat entertainment Entertainment streamed through Wifi which got cut off constantly. Seat is hard"
Voordelen: "Crew was friendly and helpful. Very efficient with check in process. This leg of flight was operated by TAP."
Nadelen: "No online check in. Long line to check in. Plane was 30 mins. Late leaving and then had to wait ten minutes to offload. This made us very late for connecting flight which We just made as they closed the door behind us. People that were slower getting through customs did not make the connection."

Nadelen: "Boarding took forever. There was a child that screamed the entire way. Wish flight staff was trained on calming children, even though I know it was just bad planning on the parents. Also wish there was a hygiene policy. Half the flight was not wearing deodorant, and you could tell."
Voordelen: "At least there were individual tv's. The choice of movies was horrendous."
Nadelen: "Where to start. The first flight was canceled because the morning crew never showed up. The second flight was delayed 4 hours. The food was atrocious, there was no room and the seats were godawful. The flight attendants were nice but the gate agents were no help at all and terribly rude."

Nadelen: "Being crammed into a tiny seat without any outlets or monitors. Being hit with a ton of extra fees for seat selection and baggage. If you dont pay to select your seat and wait 24 hours before the flight to do so you risk losing your spot on that flight, such BS. Im surprised they didnt charge me a seatbelt usage fee."
Nadelen: "Not the most comfortable aircraft"
Voordelen: "The experience was par for the course. No frills, no pleasantries, only water and juice on offer, but the A330 was great."
Voordelen: "I thought the crew was awesome. Very friendly, but the bathrooms definitely needed to be taken care of. SO dirty."
Nadelen: "TV wasn't working at all which made for a very long flight! Food selection ran out. I felt like the plane was old and outdated."

Voordelen: "The boarding process was confusing. The flight attendant did not bring me my food when she was serving the same row. The pastry snack was not good at all."
Nadelen: "International connection was delayed and we had to skip lines and run from gate to gate. There should be unboarding priority to people with connections."
Voordelen: "Plane left on time, smooth flight, arrived on schedule."
Nadelen: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"

Nadelen: "I' a small person is this i entirely uncomfortable, so i can't imagine what it's like for bigger ppl. BTW seems like Air Canada was just opening at 4am, so there were huge lines for checkin but no people were attending the Air Canada counters. THen at about 4:30 they all started coming out. For a 6am flight ppl are supposed to be there 2 hours before. I usually don't feel nauseated on planes but I did for this ride."
Voordelen: "the plane crew were pleasant and kept us posted as to what was happening and causing us to be even later to leave."
Nadelen: "The staff on the ground were disorganized, uninformed, frazzled, dismissive and boarded us 1 hour late with no updates on why we were not boarding on time. Our flight was just sitting there on the ground. when people asked they blew us off. we were also crowded into the last, very narrow, terminal area in the Toronto airport (F89-F99 area). Too many flights departing at the same time, created limited space to sit/stand. One passenger pasted out, and had a seizure upon hitting the floor face first, because of the stuffed space, and lack of air movement and available seats. They did have a fan in the area but it didnt do much to circulate air. Once we boarded an hour late, the ground crew were nowhere to be found. We waited 30min on the plane for crew to board our luggage. We were told they left the area to work somewhere else, and would be back soon. Ugh! I would not fly Air Canada again, esp through Toronto again."
Voordelen: "Captain had made up for delay we had at the take off so we came in Paris almost as planned."
Nadelen: "Crew and service was rushed our and food was handed to us without direst addressing or eye to eye contact. It was on bases "TAKE IT IF YOU WANT"."
Voordelen: "Flight left on close to on time and landed early/ right on time."
Nadelen: "#1 Boarding was total mayhem. Why do airlines insist on boarding the plane from front to back? Wouldn't it make sense to start at the back and work your way forward? People are NOT able/aware that they need to get out of the wispy and it creates a bottleneck. If the BACK becomes 'zone 1' and you progress forward, boarding passengers are out of the way and boarding can progress smoothly! Worth a try? #2 cart blocked the aisle for 90% of the flight and it was impossible to get to the bathroom. An elderly gentleman had gotten up before service began, and he was stuck out of his seat for close to 45 minutes as the flight attendants wouldn't back up to let him pass. Perhaps the timing of this could be adjusted in the future."

Voordelen: "We left and arrived on time. Crew was courteous. Streaming service was surprisingly good!"
Nadelen: "Food was not good, and there was little food and drink service. Having to pay for an emergency exit seat."

Nadelen: "We were delayed another hour on the tarmac for refuelling. Seems like they should have delayed boarding."
Voordelen: "We arrived at our destination safely."
Nadelen: "Our flight departed from the gate late and then needed to return to the due to a door malfunction. After a 4 hour delay we were on our way. Bathrooms were closed before takeoff but no announcement was made that they would be open during the delay. No beverages were offered during the delay. Not all of the bathrooms were functional during the flight. The entertainment system is available through your iphone, ipad or computer. If you haven't downloaded the app prior to departing you can't use it and you then need to rent an ipad for $10 to watch movies."
Voordelen: "My vegan meal made it to me"
Nadelen: "Complicated boarding"
Nadelen: "My flight to Montreal never happened. After the delay in Cleveland, I got contradictory information about wether my connection was late or on time. I ran and got to the gate for the montreal flight while they were doing their last call. At first they told me I was going to be able to get on the flight, then they said I was not on the flight, and they turned me down ... I found out later that while flying to Toronto, Air Canada had changed my flight because they estimated I was not going to make my connection!!! I had to wait in line for 2 hours to get rebooked, and after waiting, the person who was rebooking my flight decided to take on another person and made me wait even longer. I was sent to Frankfurt instead of Montreal!"

Nadelen: "A 3.5 hour layover is more than sufficient for a connecting flight. Air canada messed up and almost lost my luggage in toronto. This airline has the worst customer service. Pay for food on a 4 hour flight? Are you kidding me?"
Nadelen: "5 hour delay. Didn't get the correct seat."
Voordelen: "no entertainment or food. drink service got to back of the airplane about 5 minutes before beginning descent. Problems though were all before getting on the plane. Will not fly through Pearson again."
Nadelen: "After 12-hour flight from Tokyo, found flight to Dulles cancelled, with no adequate passenger assistance. Few staff to deal with issues and no familiarity with DC airports, IT support for the few staff available was poor. At re-booked flight gate, the area service desk unattended for an hour; finally found a helpful ground crew who said they are on break and got staff to service the desk, albeit grudgingly. Several flights delayed, in the horrible Gates F-84-99 area; confusion reigned supreme. Staff needs to understand that Dulles is way west of DC and BWI is way NE, so getting re-routed from Dulles to BWI is MAJOR change in ground transportation options and distances. Also need to update IT programming so staff can use it easily without long waits and calls for help. and some air conditioning in the F 84-90 gates area would be nice. Horrible situation--not enough seating, only service in whole area is one bagel shop."
Voordelen: "The comfort of a Dash 8 was surprising. The seats have a suitable amount of leg room which I'm actually scared to mention so they don't add an extra seat to each row to take it away. Not too much, not too small, just right for a 6 foot man to not have his knees pressed against the seat in front for the whole ride"
Nadelen: "Where to start? Dash 8's shake, rattle and roll for the whole trip. Felt like we could fall out of the sky at any time. Staff don't care. Split our group after rescheduling due to aircraft issues despite seats available on both connectors. Said to wait until next stop to fix. Next stop said nothing they can do since we checked a bag. Put 2 hours between arrivals just because they can. Blamed it on the computer. Did provide a $10 meal voucher. Good to know Air Canada values my total trip delay time at $2/hr"

Voordelen: "Comfy seat, good food, great attentive service and wonderful safe take offs and landings! Also we received extra treats for their inaugural flight from Brussels to Toronto."
