First flight came in a few mixtures late, but then we had to wait our long turn to deplane, get on bus and wait for it to fill up with all slower passengers, drive to terminal, make it through passport control, take train to other terminal, and run 20 gates down where they were looking for us. We made it with 1 minute to spare from takeoff. They knew our bags were connecting and they made it. If they could've expedited our passage with a club car it would have been excellent."

When sitting upright and the person in front reclined, i looked at their head and if I crossed my arms, it would touch the seat in front. Could not pick up pillow that dropped on the floor, could not bend around the seat in front. Very hard to get out to use the toilet. Felt very claustrophobic."

It looked to me like Swiss Air knew we were running close as the flight rarely (if ever) leaves on time. It was stressful for us and for the 30+ others who were still in line in immigration when the flight time passed. It turned out to not be a problem but the published times are unrealistic. Seats were tight and comfort in cattle class is NON Existent sleep on an 8 hour flight was not even possible."

She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

The overall experience was good throughout; from the airport on both ends of the journey to the actual inflight experience. I'm not sure how much of an influence the airline has on the airport part of it all, but the check-in process was good. The self check-in machines for AA were a little "buggy" and difficult to navigate but helpful staff was readily available as were the short lines. I am 6'2" and was impressed that I had adequate leg room in my seat."

Nadelen: "The entertainment system didn't work and there was no way to solve it. It should've been checked before. It was a 9-hours flight with almost nothing to do."
Nadelen: "Luggage did not make the transfer on time (Chicago-Charlotte after Tokyo), although they had about 45 minutes to load it. Do not buy an international ticket with less than 1.5 hours transfer time. (It took 45 minutes to get through customs/immigration and retrieve luggage for transfer."
Voordelen: "CRJ 900s have more leg room than expected"
Nadelen: "I hate American airlines. It is the WORST. We were held for almost 4 hours waiting for "maintenance call" then flight was cancelled. THEN it took two full hours to get back checked bags. By ths point it was 5 pm, had been at airport since 8:30 -- no food offered, no apologies, not even a glass of water. Of course, no flights back to US so I was stuck an extra day, completely messed up school and work. I THOUGHT I was booking with Iberia but it was a code share. I WILL NEVER fly American Airlines again!"

Nadelen: "Late taking off and arriving. Once we landed it took 15 minutes to locate someone to bring the ramp out to the plane. Just incompetence on part of American Airlines."

Voordelen: "The crew was nice and we had no issues during the flight. Seating issue (below) was fixed by agent (although we only were allowed to interact with a human because the self check-in didn't work."
Nadelen: "During online check-in we were seated separately, but given the option to remedy this for a mere $200. I remember a time not long ago when sitting together was a given, now, like all things, it is a privilege for those with means."
Voordelen: "I paid for extra leg room and I got it. The only thing I was in the row right behind first class they require you to put all of your carry-on above even a purse. I had never had that before but I guess that's common practice."
Nadelen: "One flight attendant in my section (23H), plonked food down on the tray with a curt, "passengers-are-a-nuisance" attitude. Her male colleague, when I asked about a spoon for the tub of ice cream said "It's there. If you can find it, you can eat it." I am a 71 yr old woman, and was shocked to be spoken to with such impertinence. Had I not already been travelling for16 hrs, having started the day in the Occupied Territories, I would have reported him to the senior person on board. I was just too tired."
Voordelen: "Beach pool fishing n company"
Nadelen: "The flight was delayed severs hours. I missed my event in Tampa due to the delay. We were sending back and forth between gates and the flight was overbooked. The staff was very unpleasant."
Voordelen: "The crew did a well trained job, they made it a very happy and fun flight."
Nadelen: "The first flight was so noisy loud it sounded like it was going to rattled apart and for two hours."
Nadelen: "Boarding procedures"

Nadelen: "In old section of Lisbon airport, and inadequate space to conduct orderly and efficient boarding Both deplaning and re boarding done via movable ramps and passage to and from exposed to weather (thankfully not raining)."
Voordelen: "Fantastic crew, super comfortable seats, food was really good, boarding organized."
Nadelen: "Nothing could have been better!"
Voordelen: "Great entertainment selection."
Nadelen: "I had two flights that day: TAP Portugal: greeters, assistance loading carry-on, fish with potatoes and spinach, glass of wine, pudding, sandwich, carrot cake bite, coffee and a blanket. Jet Blue: water three hours in, (unhealthy) bag of chips."
Nadelen: "Our flight in Lisbon was scheduled to board an hour before departure. We arrived on-time, went through the line and were then placed in a standing room only area to stand and wait for another 45 minutes before boarding. We were placed near the entrance (I thought to board early as a family) but were later told to join another line when we asked why we sere just standing and waiting while other passengers were walking past us. The communication between staff and between your staff and passengers was poor."
Voordelen: "The food and service during the flight was great. Enjoyed the meals and they offered drinks frequently. Complementary wine is also a big plus compared to other airlines."
Nadelen: "The luggage situation. We were very annoyed that we didn’t get a carry on bag and had to pay $92 each for every checked bag. I travel frequently and have never experienced this with another airline."
Voordelen: "Flight went smoothly overall. Decent leg room. Food was good. We left ontime"
Nadelen: "The temperature control in the cabin was poor. Too warm for my liking and no personal air vents. Also their was a passenger behind me who incessantly kicked at my seat each time I tried to recline."
Voordelen: "Everything else"
Nadelen: "The WiFi was expensive and very little total data allowance even in Executive class so very unsatisfactory."
Nadelen: "at check-in agent said we did not have coverage on our ticket for our 2 -50lb bags dispite informing her that we were covered and had no problem on our arriving flight to Portugal - we had to pay 196 Euros or leave our bags in Portugal Additionally we had ordered a wheelchair to assist my wife to the gate - which we also had our arriving flight - agent said she had no record of it. She said we could wait which we did and waited 2 hours to obtain a wheelchair (and came close to missing our plane) not to mention the stress associated with the whole check in process"

Nadelen: "Me and my girlfriend were seated in the middle in a 4 seat combination. I asked the crew member to move us on an aisle seat. Even though there were plenty of aisle seats open, the crew member just kinda ignored us. The old lady sitting next to me just slept the whole time and I could not get out to the bathroom. Also since I am left handed I could not really eat since with the right-handed old lady we were hitting each other's elbow and nocking each the food out of each other's hand, I finally pulled my elbow in and ate like a T-Rex. The person in front of me pushed their seat back all the way, I asked the crew member to do something but nothing really was done, since I am a little taller I could not fit my knees, they were crushed."

Voordelen: "Check-in and baggage drop was fast. Food was good. Cabin crew did their job. Economy plus seats are comfortable and leg room was ok (I'm 1,84m tall). So, smooth and easy flight."
Nadelen: "We arrived with 20 Minutes delay...and it was just the first shuttle of the day... could have been better"
Voordelen: "The only airline that makes me feel like a human being and not a piece of baggage. Very comfortable seating with good legroom for tall people like me. Attendants treat you with respect and are responsive to requests."
Nadelen: "Gate number was different from what was on my ticket and the tv screen at the original gate didn't indicate where the new gate was supposed to be. Don't need that kind of stress when traveling!"
Nadelen: "The boarding process seemed very unorganized. The people and police that were working weren't friendly at all."

Nadelen: "1. Food. I think that sandwich and juice are not enough for 3 hours flight that costs 130 euros. 2. Departure time. The flight was delayed for more than 1 hours. When we arrived at Schiphol it was night already and trains to towns around were super rare. So we came in home at 3 a.m. instead of the planned 1 a.m."

Nadelen: "You get what you pay for! Boarding was very disorganized. Lot of standing around for no good reason. Food and drink service was mediocre -- they ran out of stuff."

Nadelen: "Lisbon Airport needs best practices tidy up: layout, cleanliness, boarding process is not good. Passport Control is much improved over last summer: all positions were manned today!"
Voordelen: "I was lucky enough to be awarded an upgrade to Business Class on this flight... Relieving the tension of overbooking in economy..I guess my lucky day.."

Nadelen: "Paid $130 for 2 extra spac s acts. Didn't have any extra space. Had a woman in front of me who reclined her seat all the way for he whole flight. Had to have on of he crew to ask her to put her sat forward for the food service part of th flight."

Voordelen: "TAP counter staff helped get seat assignments for knee injury. New aircraft with good video system and comfortable seats in Economy Plus. Crew was helpful. Food OK. Arrived on time."
Nadelen: "Not TAP's fault, but long lines at customs and security at Lisbon Airport made us run to arrive at gate for next flight. Again, not TAP's fault, but additional security check at the waiting area, opening carry-on baggage and emptying my purse seemed over the top."

Nadelen: "At the check in, despite that I have a swiss passport, 5)3 hostess looked solely at my face and assumed I need avisa and asked me three times for my visa. On the flight, blankets are removed 20-30 minutes before landing during which I was freezing. Upon arrival, my new bag i hadnt used as yet was broken and TAP pays nothing and does no kind of exchange for broken bags. Basically- they dont care! During my return flight, despite being checked in adn being at the airport wel ahead of time, the airport clerks gyided me to the wrong desk and I had to wait longer than needed. The check in for baggages had closed by 1 min. They were allowing me to take the flight only if I threw out all my liquids or else were off loading me. They proposed no other solution and wanted to make me pay 450 dollara to put me on the flight the next day. I had an interview the following day and needed to return. I ended buying a new full fare ticket with British airways and got excellent service. I am yet to complain to TAP."
Nadelen: "The crew was rude, after 5 hours they seemed annoyed when I asked for water and gave me half a cup after I had just finished vomitting due to all the swaying of the aircraft. While we were landing, we came over the runway maybe 100 feet off the ground then jetted back up and circled around the airport for 20 minutes before landing horribly...with NO explaination. Everyone started vomitting because the landing (both times) were so horrible. Our first flight was late, we landed when the second was 'closing the doors', they never updated the monitors or informed the crew that the second plane was also delayed (by over an hour), so we rushed through customs and ran through the airport only to discover they hadn't even started boarding yet, even though the screen said it had departed. Completely disorganized."
