Nadelen: "For some reason, we were asked several times for Passports. This didn’t make any sense since we are US citizens with drivers license. They even had TSA talk to us. This has to be fixed. Otherwise, Delta experience was great."

After paying more than twice the coach fare, we expect something better than a ham sandwich on a coast to coast flight."

Nadelen: "De onbetrouwbare procedures bij KLM en Schiphol. Kan niet online inchecken bij Delta: KLM operated. Alleen op Schiphol. Daar ook niet bij machine. Naar een loket. Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Voordelen: "Some "perk" for Diamond status on Delta to get to a shorter security line, but customs and immigration was... customs and immigration."
Nadelen: "No available SkyTeam lounge unless you had a business class ticket. As a Diamond flier, I can always access the SkyTeam lounges. Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."

Nadelen: "Due to waiting so long on the tarmac, I almost missed my ground connection. Also, two persons with impaired mobility were deplaned while nearly all the remaining passengers waited. It has been my experience in the past that those with impaired mobility are assisted in deplaning AFTER the other passengers have deplaned. This only makes sense. Also, baggage handling was slow compared with my previous experiences. Seemed to be a hard landing."

Nadelen: "Glad I have the comfort+ as the other seats have minimal leg room. Bathrooms could use a refresh."

Nadelen: "I felt singled out by the gate agents for this leg of the flight. The gate agent called me out twice - once just to check if my carry on fit into the sample size container. Then she did it again when we were boarding. I know she knew she'd already asked me before. Because afterwards, she tried to play it off, laughing and saying "I'd already asked you, didn't it". My carry on fit with ease. There were people with larger suitcases all around me but she continuously singled me out."

Voordelen: "I had ordered a dairy - free vegetarian meal for the international flight. Initially the attendant brought me a vegetarian meal with cheese, part of the regular meal options, then she found the one with my seat number that was dairy - free. It was quite tasty! And I was grateful, since I would not have been able to eat the meal with dairy. It is not a preference, dairy makes me ill. The delay departing from Brussels caused us to miss our connecting flight to Denver, but our provided hotel accommodations in NY were quite comfortable. One item of note: The LaGuardia staff person, who made our arrangements for the overnight stay, said there was a shuttle from the hotel to JFK ( where our flight was in the morning), so she did not give us a travel voucher for the morning. The Hotel only has a shuttle to LaGuardia; it never has a shuttle to JFK. It seems the staff person should have known that. When we called Delta to ask how we should handle that, Delta kindly offered us reimbursement; it was just a phone call and a mailing for us and for Delta that was extraneous. Our interaction with the staff person was entirely pleasant, we were just surprised that there was misinformation."

Nadelen: "Even though it is a short flight, it would be nice to receive at least drinks offered"

Nadelen: "The seats we were in were where it went from 4 in a row to 3, so the telvisions were not directly in front of us, and i had to keep my head turned at an angle for ten hours. It sounds silly, but my neck hurt after the flight a little. Might be a pop out tv you can attach that is moveable to fix this"

Nadelen: "They checked my bag at the gate - despite me traveling all over the world NEVER having to check it - and would not take no for an answer, despite me having a 25 minute connection due to their one hour delay. Once boarded there was an incredible amount of empty overhead bins! Bag didn't make it"

Nadelen: "The flight from Copenhagen to Brussels was delayed long enough that I barely made my connecting flight to Frankfurt. However, my luggage did not. I hope it will arrive today."

Voordelen: "We struggled to get the system to add our bags. Never got it to work and had to pay at check-in. It was even worse coming back! When bad weather caused delays and we missed our connecting flight from Frankfurt to Istanbul they put us on Turkish Airlines which was fabulous!!"
Nadelen: "Lufhtansa is slipping. They are acting like a budget airline when the expectation is for a full service airline. The online check-in would not let us add bags even though we tried for 3 hours. Not impressed with this."

Nadelen: "This flight was the second leg on my trip from New York to Munich. Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Nadelen: "We booked these flights expecting Lufthansa. Little disappointed to learn they were Brussels airlines. Inflight entertainment options and meal options don't seem to be as good. Flight crew was pleasant and fine. After learning it was Brussels airlines I went through their check-in process for families and requested kid-friendly meals, but nothing came of it. Slightly disappointed."

Voordelen: "This plane was an airbus, while the plane I took to Europe was a boeing something. Economy was much more comfortable and there were great entertainment options. I also like the frequent brandy, Bailey's, and water service. The flight attendants were nice and at least appeared to care about the level of service they were providing."
Nadelen: "This probably is just personal preference, but I didn't like the meal options all that much. But that's about it. Mind you, I eat German food often in the States, so the type of cuisine wasn't the problem."

Nadelen: "Huge delays all day caused me to miss my last flight to Honolulu even thought I was supposed to have a 4+ hour layover from LAX. I had to book a room that wasn't paid for and take a flight 24 hours later. I literally arrived home with my family a whole day later than was supposed to happen based all on Lufthansa delays."

Voordelen: "Everything about this flight was amazing. The food was fantastic, the service was better, and my comfort was always at maximum. This company makes all American domestic companies pale in comparison."

La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

Je suis vraiment déçue de cette compagnie et je vais essayer d’éviter le plus possible."

Nadelen: "Il est très difficile d’entendre le pilote au micro. Par chance il n’y avait pas de message d’urgence à transmettre car nous peinions à l’entendre. Aucun service de la part de l’équipage lorsque nous pesons sur la demande d’assistance située sur notre siège. Ils ne répondent pas à l’appel autre que pour fermer, à distance, la demande de soutien. Extrêmement déplorable et dangereux si un passager a besoin d’aide ou à un malaise. Très très très décevant. Première fois où cela arrive sur un vol. La « grande variété » de divertissements sur l’application air Canada rouge.......très très difficile d’obtenir une connexion (un des passagers avec moi n’a jamais pu l’obtenir ) et finalement .....pour une « variété » et « qualité «  très discutable. Manque d’espace flagrant pour les jambes. Confort laisse à désirer."

Voordelen: "Le vol de retour Venise AC1919 a été annulé suivant des heures d’attente en aéroport. 4 heures d’attente pour un autobus qui nous amène à l’hôtel pour la nuit. Hôtel ordinaire. Le personnel contractuel n’apporte rien à la situation. Départ pour Montréal/Ottawa en retard. On m’avise que je manque ma correspondance et on me donne des vouchers lorsque je passe le kiosque AC aux correspondances. On dit me changer pour le prochain vol. Je me rends à la porte 25 et on appelle mon nom. On me dit que je suis toujours sur ce vol. Aucun sens. Donc Venise/Ottawaplus de 33 heures. J’y repenserai"

Je désire son nom pour me plaindre de la façon dont on s’adresse. La dame à la pancarte me dit je suis là superviseuse c’est mon employée. Rien de plus. Nadelen: "Exceptionally small seats and warm temperatures made overnight flights challenging. They do not offer free alocohol on international flights. But the worst part of the flight was the entertainment situation. There are no tv screens on the plane. They wait to tell you until after you've taken off that you can download the air Canada app to stream their selection of tv and movies to your personal devices. Once you do, they'll explain to you that it's really hard to get the streaming to work properly because so many people are trying to use it at the same time, but don't worry - they have preloaded iPads available ... for rent. It feels like a blatant cash grab on top of an already disappointing flight experience."

Voordelen: "Food was good. Flight staff was pleasant."
Nadelen: "Boarding took forever. There was a child that screamed the entire way. Wish flight staff was trained on calming children, even though I know it was just bad planning on the parents. Also wish there was a hygiene policy. Half the flight was not wearing deodorant, and you could tell."

Voordelen: "This was a boring flight which is a good thing, no drama, no mechanical problems, no weather problems. More leg room than an overseas flight."
Nadelen: "There was some confusion during boarding."

Nadelen: "I separated from my 2 daughters and husband because they did not allow me to pick seats or check in online. I was stuck in the seat immediately in front of the stinky bathroom in a seat that didn't recline, had no hdmi charging port and was pretty much continuously crowded by bathroom-goers. In fact, so many bathroom goers grabbed the seat in front of me that they touched my movie screen about 7-8 times, causing the menu to pop up and interrupt the movie. Otherwise, the food was gross and one of the flight attendants was very grumpy."

Nadelen: "Systeme de divertissement qui proposait belle variété plantsit souvent. Il a finalement été "rebooté" mais il était tard et cela a pris plus de 30 minutes."

Voordelen: "Everything. The plane was immaculate, the seats were comfortable, the food was delicious, the flight crew was friendly and professional. Air Canada's abillity to transit passengers from the US to international destinations is truly remarkable and must be best in class. I went from an inbound flight from Houston, through Immigration and to the gate for my flight to London in under 15 minutes!"
Nadelen: "Nothing."

Voordelen: "Flight Attendants were courteous and friendly."
Nadelen: "Plane was small, seats not very comfortable, entertainment system was down. After traveling 24 hours it was not pleasant. Additionally, coming from Vancouver on a late arrival, no one helped expedite me to the flight. I had to leave International, clear immigration and Customs, then enter immigration and US Customs. When I told anyone I was possibly missing my next flight it was met with a shrug, as if it was just my problem. Not a good way to treat customers."

Voordelen: "The employees were friendly and professional."
Nadelen: "The plane was extremely cold, more so than any other I've been on. It made it hard to get comfortable."

Nadelen: "Nalgré avis donné à l'agent de bord de l'état d'ébriété de 2 passagers, ces derniers ont reçu 7 vodka tonic. L'agence connaissait car clients réguliers. Ils avaient de la difficultés à descendre de l'avion. Déplorable."

Voordelen: "Bon choix de films"
Nadelen: "Pas de bagages en soute inclus quand on paye 900$ ? Ridicule ! Pas de repas à bord. (Même pas à vendre) À l aller, départ avec 1 h de retard, au retour, retard de 2h... Les sièges de l appareil ne se baissaient pas, et n'avaient pas d'appuis-tete ajustables."

Voordelen: "Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful, but they can only do what is within corporate rules to help you. Their corporate policies are NOT GOOD!"
Nadelen: "Flying Air Canada is horrible! They nickel & dime you to the point of tears. They charged me $15 per leg to make advanced seat assignments ($60 total) then changed my flights and put me in middle seats on two legs without asking me - I didn't find out until I was ready to board and they called my name to come to the gate desk! They also charge $33+ US to check one bag. If you go over the 50 lb weight limit they charge $100. By the time you add it all up, I could have flown on Delta through the US for less. Trying to get my seat selection fees reimbursed was very difficult; At the airport, they told me to go online and ask for a refund; Online, I couldn't find the way to get to the refund link; Called Customer service again, who gave me an 800# to call for a refund; the person on the 800 # told me I had to request it online but walked me through it to find the refund link; I filled in the online request and was told by automatic reply that Air Canada would investigate it and get back to me within 3-4 weeks. Ugh! No more Air Canada for me!"

Nadelen: "Tea - disgusting brown liquid! What about a tea bag, or I gladly would take just a cup of hot water to brew my own. Sandwiches: turkey with cheese or cheese. I am allergic to milk (common allergy), you put milk products everywhere. Vegan is the only option, sadly it is usually some sort of Asian food and I am not Asian, have a gag reflex when I smell Indian food. This was not Air India flight, but smelled like one!!! Will avoid flying with United. Somehow, although I booked on purpose with Brussels Air, without my consent (!!!) I was sold tickets for United operated flight. Please, don't tell me that customers are your #1 priority, because they are NOT!"

Nadelen: "none of the flight attendants seemed to be friendly- literally all of them were neutral or slightly rude at best. Not impressed."

Nadelen: "My legs are short and the seat seemed a little higher than other plans. I couldn't rest my feet flat on the floor for 6 1/2 hours. This was very uncomfortable."

Voordelen: "Beyond one or two friendly crew members, not much."
Nadelen: "We booked our flights round trip on united.com, but when we arrived at the airport for our return flight from Budapest to D.C., we were told we were on standby and might not be given seats (despite paying full price for the fare months ago). Brussels Airlines, the codeshare partner, blamed United. United blamed Brussels airlines. We are the flight, but my wife and I were seated separately. When I noticed several seats empty after the plane had finished boarding and asked the head flight attendant if my wife and I might not together, she refused, saying they weren't going to give us a free upgrade. When we went to drop off our bags for the next leg of the flight, from Brussels to Dulles, the bag check counters we're severely understaffed and we waited almost an hour just to drop off two suitcases. This made us nearly miss our flight and required us to sprint through the airport and beg to cut the security line. After boarding, my entertainment screen stopped working, though they did manage to fix it a couple of hours into the flight. Needless to say, this was less then a stellar experience."

Nadelen: "I was unable to pre-order a kosher meal through the web site. Customer service could barely write in legible English and in essence told me to take a hike. Flight was bumpy both ways for quite a while. What's the point of giving me a boarding pass in Tel Aviv if I need to go to the United transfer counter in Brussels and go through the process again, including a TSA (friendly) interrogation?"

Voordelen: "Friendly crew, decent food, good entertainment options to make the flight feel shorter."

Nadelen: "United Airlines portion of the flight from Brussels to IAD. My wife and I were seated in separate parts of the plane each in middle seats at the end of the boarding process when there was no longer any overhead room to store our belongings. Uncaring, unaccommodating crew, waiting area with not enough seats, and cramped seating on the plane with no possibility of sleep during an arduous seven hour flight."

Voordelen: "Excellent service and a safe flight."

Voordelen: "Smooth and seamless travel, great seats and punctual departure and arrival."

Voordelen: "We were upgraded to business class. Everything was excellent! Seats were extremely comfortable. Flight attendants took great care of us!"

Nadelen: "Even though I have an account with United, and confirmed that I was a vegetarian both online, and on the flight heading to Europe, my meal wasn't entered. It worked out really well because I was sitting close to the front and they had pasta dishes available, but this is not the first time that United and its partners have "lost" or "mishandled" my vegetarian registration. The flight attendant even remarked that sadly, she hears this 'complaint' constantly. The food was good, but there's no reason that my meal request can't stay in the system."

Voordelen: "SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD AND FRIENDLY STAFF"

Voordelen: "Professional, courteous flight crew. Uneventful flight. When flying at 37000 feet over an ocean, uneventful is a very good thing! :) Deboarding on arrival was quick and efficient."
Nadelen: "My headphone jack in the seat was broken but they offered to relocate me to a seat that worked. I stayed put and used the United app on my phone."

Voordelen: "The flight was on time and our luggage arrived on time."
Nadelen: "There's not much attention to friendliness any longer. The stewardess isn't any longer interested in making you feel welcomed. Seats are now so cramed together that you can barely lower your tray unless of course you want to pay an extra $100."

Nadelen: "Sit in the last row and wait for the food"

Nadelen: "I would expect when I book a Luftansa flight to fly in a Luftansa jet. This flight was carried by United and I did not know that until I arrived at the airport."

Nadelen: "I chose Luthansa because I was traveling with a bike and they are usually good about not overcharging however after booking the flight, United took over the flight and they have very unfriendly bike policies (200 each way). Usually I will not fly United because of these policies, I think I am done flying any Star Alliance companies."

Nadelen: "This was a mess as the attendants didn't not have my transfer ticket It took them for ever till the last minute when was called by the Microphone"
