Nadelen: "Tap changed the times on my original flight from Portugal to Rome then changed the times from my first flight from Boston to Portugal making it impossible to connect from Portugal to Rome.both flights were tap airlines. We were charged 462.00 extra to take the next flight out 3hours later. We were charged twice for the same flight from Portugal to Rome. It was not our fault that we could not connect in Portugal, every other airlines would make resonable accommodations with out any extra charge. We both feel cheated by tap airlines and it made our vacation very stressful trying to resolve the double charge. It has not been resolved as of yet and we our very disappointed on how we were treated. can’t get anything other than the blame being passed around."

Nadelen: "Had to check 2 of our luggages, and it cost $95 per piece. Never flown an airline where I had to pay more than $50 per piece. Also carryon has to be less than 8 kg. Our small luggage that we had to check never had any problems with any other airlines about being a carryon but since it was over 8 kg, it had to be checked. Took a 7.5 hour flight and the entertainment screen was not working for anyone, as the system was broken. Will not be flying with airline ever again."

Nos meus últimos 3 vôos pela TAP, a tripulação vem se mostrando muito mais cordial e até mesmo divertida, sendo bastante simpática. Ainda pode melhorar? Claro que sim, mas agora não tenho mais "medo" de pedir um copo d'água a mais para os comissários."
Nadelen: "Sei que a tendência dos vôos low cost é não oferecer muito conforto aos passageiros, mas o espaço entre as cadeiras está ridículo até mesmo para pessoas com estatura mediana como eu (1,80 m). A poltrona, apesar de não reclinar, era até confortável, mas os meu joelhos ficaram espremidos pela poltrona da frente. I got home, I unzipped my bag and I do not have a pair of sneakers that were a gift for my baby and some other sweets, my luggage was half empty! The face of my disappointed kid broke my soul, that should not have happened."
Voordelen: "The head stewardess was so helpful and nice! I was traveling alone with a 3-month-old baby and was very stressed out. The head stewardess helped me so much, gave me a more comfortable seat, a private place to breastfeed and a bassinet for the baby! She was amazing and I owe her so much for making my experience better. I also received a baby gift package that had a much needed pacifier clip! The flight was also the smoothest flight I've ever had across the Atlantic!"
Nadelen: "No movie was shown on the shared TV in the first row. Had to only listen to music. Long stressful wait to board."

Nadelen: "I was told that I can check in my luggage free of charge. So I bought some wine and checked in for the connection flights. They charged 35 euros and to final destination 75 euros. I tried to watch some movies and they had only one English channel. I couldn’t believe that kind of shitty system still exists. I don’t recommend it."
Nadelen: "My flight to Miami was delayed due to weather. I missed my connection to LHR, therefore missed my TAP flight to Portugal. I called TAP (before the flight) and they would not change the flight because I went through a travel site. My $240 ticket was lost, and I had to pay over $900 for a new one. I doubt I will use an internet site again because I will unlikely get a refund and it was impossible to change the ticket. Feel awful!"
Voordelen: "Check-in and baggage drop was fast. Food was good. Cabin crew did their job. Economy plus seats are comfortable and leg room was ok (I'm 1,84m tall). So, smooth and easy flight."

It turns out they could have served but preferred to adhere to their union under the guise of passenger safety and remain seated the entire flight doing crossword puzzles and the like which definitely made me feel much safer."

Nadelen: "Oph, I wish I had better things to say about this airline! The person who signed us in for our first flight did so as a "no show" (we didn't know this at the time). That flight was delayed (they didn't have enough room in the plane for luggage and were scrambling to put things below). Once we arrived in at our second location, we sprinted through the airport but arrived at our gate with 10 minutes to spare only to be told that the entire flight was full and that we were not able to board. We asked- how this was possible? We are here on time, we have booked our tickets months ahead of time, and there is no one else here at the gate... it made absolutely no sense. All the staff people did was shrug their shoulders and said that they couldn't help us and that we had to go to the transfer station. My friend and I were upset- by missing our flight we were losing our last night in Barcelona, seeing our friends, etc. before heading back to the United States. Once we got to the transfer station, we were even more confused and upset however, because the staff person there told us that in fact our seats were available and that there was no reason why were not allowed on the flight. However, she shrugged her shoulders and told her that there was nothing that she could do. She offered us a $10 meal card, booked us for the next flight 3 hours later (which put us in Barcelona late at night, way too late to see the city or our friends), and offered us absolutely no help in getting a refund. We asked to see the supervisor and after waiting another half an hour he came out and told us the story about how the staff person in Marrakesh put us as "no shows." This was a complete system failure, however he offered us no refund, no support, beyond telling us to go on the website and filling out a form. Once we got internet, we tried to get to the form- link broken. We called the help line, and after waiting another 20 minutes, we got connected to a woman who said that she couldn't help us- we had to go to the transfer service desk and fill out a paper form there or the electronic contact form. It seemed that every person had been well trained in how to pass clients from one system to another, to see if we would get too tired to file our complaints. No one has taken responsibility for this abysmal failure of the system, no one has apologized, and no one has offered any reimbursement beyond a meal ticket. I highly recommended that people pay an extra $20 for an airline where people are properly trained in how to use their computer systems, where they won't lie to your face, and where they may have a system where complaints and be properly filed and responded to. I have no idea how TAP Portugal is still in business."

The resulting fracas resorted in several heated arguments, and seemed close to a fist fight. One grounds crew member on the jetway was extraordinarily rude. Wish I knew her name to report it. This was truly the worst flight experience of my life, and I am a frequent traveler."

I had to wake up the customer sitting next to me so i can walk to the back galley where i found 4 cabin crew members sitting down and chit chatting about their personal lives completely ignoring the chime/sound and light above my seat when i pressed the F/A call button. When i asked for water, one of the cabin crew members pointed towards a bottle of bottle and told me to serve myself as if im a non-paying customer. I paid for my ticket, why should i do their job. In a nutshell, the customer service sucks, for least money i could have taken another airline with better service."

Nadelen: "EVERYTHING I could smell the bathroom from the middle of the aeroplane. The attendants were unfriendly, rude and unaccommodating. The food was undesirable given that there were no vegetarian options. Upon disembarking the aeroplane looked like a tornado went through it because the attendants did not pick up from the passengers before the flight landed (perhaps it was not part of their job, if so...my apologies )"

We arrived at Casablanca at 10am and had a 12 hours stop so we were offered lodging but because of slow processing and uncaring crew, we didn’t get to the hotel until past 1:30pm and were told we need to leave the room by 6pm. With young kids and very long flight time, I was very disappointed by the treatment."

This turned out not to be the case. Luckily, there was a very kind staff person who ran onto the plane and retrieved a bottle of water for me, but this should not be the policy."

Thought we will do it from airport just like the United States. However, due to long line, wemissed tbe two hour window and were charged 55 euro per person. There was 5 of us. Therewere 5 of us. We felt cheTed and scorged."

Voilà 5 jours que je tente en vain de faire le check in de mon vol retour (celui du vol aller ayant été fait en ligne) et que je ne peux pas accéder a la moindre carte d’embarquement. J’arrive donc en avance à El Prat, pour m’entendre dire que je dois régler 55€ en CB afin de pouvoir procéder à l’enregistrement. Une honte. (Sans parler de la charmante dame au check in qui s’est permise de voler mes lunettes de soleil, cadeau d’une famille balinaise auquel je tenais énormément, sur le comptoir, après m’avoir « dérobé » lesdits 55€) Quelle honte, mais quelle honte ..."

Nadelen: "Le fait que les bagages à main voyagent maintenant systématiquement en soute ... les coffres en cabine sont vides et on doit attendre son petit sac à l´arrivée, après les bagages enregistrés ... Cela me parait être un non sens complet et je ne vois même pas où serait leur intérêt financier !"
Nadelen: "Attente retard au décollage mais rattrapé en vol Confort spartiate"
Voordelen: "Nothing. They were late, disorganized the seat assignment was a real mess. During the flight they sold raffles, perfumes etc. No refreshments served. 6 euros for a coke? Is this a joke. The seats were small no space for legs. The plane was dirty. Please dont sell that airline anymore. It is a disgrace."
Voordelen: "Rien car le vol n'a pas eu lieu nous concernant."
Nadelen: "Le vol a été manque en raison de l'arrivée tardive du vol RyanAir précédent, sans aucune prise en charge de la part de RyanAir, aucune information fiable ni mesure compensatoire. Mensonges de la part du personnel à l'aéroport de Bordeaux ainsi que de l'equipage."

Nadelen: "- Surliness of staff especially at the gate: some passengers were queuing for the wrong flight and gate staff did very little to ensure that the risk of this was highlighted to others. Consequently when boarding some people were turned away as they should have been elsewhere - Unecessary split seats - New cabin baggage rules - caused delay at the gate and could have been avoided by asking people to check in the excess earlier as other airlines do."
Nadelen: "tout faire pour faire payer le passager des suppléments, c est pathétique, surtout quand cela retarde l'embarquement (enregistrer les bagages au contrôle ralenti tout le monde), le personnel n adhère pas à la politique commerciale, et les clients sont agacés par cela. Et surtout tout le monde perd du temps à l'arrivée à attendre un bagage "cabine" mis en soute."
Nadelen: "Notre pompot adorée a été violentée ainsi que notre très précieuse boule à neige pour ma petite sœur trisomique qui sera à jamais déçue m. j’ai eu faim pendant le vol, comment faire sans ma compote? Je voulais admirer Londres de l’avion: comment faire sans la boule q’ neige? Déçu"
