The new entertainment screens kept coming on, and I kept turning them off as I wished to sleep. Nadelen: "I arrived 13 hours late, had two extra flights. I was delayed 3 hours first flight, 1.5 hours second flight after watching two flights that I “wasn’t allowed” to be on depart right in front of me at 9 and 10 instead of the 11 that they rebooked me on. Once I landed in Lisbon after the second flight that o wasn’t supposed to take. We missed the connection by 5 minutes and there were many people flying to my same destination. I had to wait 5 hours in Lisbon when I shouldn’t have ever went to Lisbon. I bought a ticket from Newark to Zürich through Porto 10 hours in total. I think TAP overbooked everyone and seated us on purpose. The secondflight was delayed due to “bad weather” and it was perfectly nice outside. Shame on TAP. I’m sure other people are complaining."

NEOS Airlines is an Italian airline probably comparable to Southwest Airlines in the USA. It's a cattle car airline with no frills. Crew was very professional, food was actually good. A sandwich that was of course Italian ingredients. Seats were comfortable for the 3 hour flight."

I will never fly air Europa again as I feel they are dishonest. The charge for the headphones is ridiculous when the entertainment is limited (most tv series will have one episode and the shows are old) The food was sub par. The sandwich with one sliver of ham was pathetic and the main meal was lacking with only chicken and rice, a small desert, no fruit/ salad and or crackers with cheese which is the norm on international flights."

So it's almost false advertising. Kayak should protect its users. Also, our checked bag that we paid the extra money for arrived late! After our flight was delayed over an hour by the way! Kayak should protect its customers better. Or at least make sure they're informed"

Took many hours and multiple requests for assistance and refund. Crew left 9 year old son off of flight manifest resulting in his detainment by homeland security st JFK."

For the price I paid and the duration of my flight (12 hours from LAX-FCO) I wish I chose a different airline. that was the most uncomfortable flight I've had in a long time and I travel often."

We then had to wait in a 5+ HOUR LINE to get rerouted (nope, they won't handle these issues online or over the phone, you have to wait in line). And THEN they wanted us to wait in a 2 hour line to re-drop off our bags. We got stuck overnight in Rome and were put in a horrible Hilton Garden Inn and barely made it in time to use our coupon for a "free meal" (aka, frozen meatballs and stale bread in a buffet that had been sitting out all night). On our flight back, the food was absolutely terrible, the movie selections were old and scarce, and the seats were uncomfortable. We called to complain as soon as we got home and still have not heard back from Alitalia. I will never fly with them again."

A different Alitalia flight had been cancelled so there were mobs at the check in at 4 a.m. waiting for the Alitalia personnel to appear--AirBerlin was open and staffed, but Alitalia was at least 1/2 hour late and all check in had to take place in person at the counter and no counter was specified for our flight. I had requested wheelchair assistance (I'm 80 years old with back problems), but there was none available."
Nadelen: "Although reservations for our return flight from Rome to Boston were made 5 months ago, we were bumped from our flight, not advised in advance, and missed several important work engagements. The management at the Alitalia desk at the airport was not up to the task of reassigning everyone. Understaffed and under equipped (staff was unable to get online to reschedule and re-issue new boarding passes) We are senior travelers (75 and 80 years old) and were forced to stand in lines for 3 hours We're headed to the airport now, the next day, and I am dreading the experience."

However, at that point, it was very late and we had to wait for everyone else to be accommodated as well. It would have been a better process to have allowed passengers more information prior to arriving in Rome at 22:00"
Nadelen: "We missed our connecting flight to Palermo. For hours before, while we were stuck at Heathrow, we had little to no information as to what would happen once we landed in Rome. We were traveling with two small children and this was extremely frustrating and tiring."

Nadelen: "The flight attendant at the check in said our luggage was too big and needed to be checked. We got a ticket from her but when we got to the plane nobody said anything and we simply did what we had done all the previous flights we have ever taken, we stowed them in the overhead bins. The flight wasn't full and in fact some overhead bins were completely empty, but I guess she had her job to do and thought it wouldn't fit, but maybe she could have asked if we had used it before. I don't know why they say it's too big when we had been traveling throughout Europe for almost a month and had taken it on 4-5 flights and many other trips. It all worked out. Footnote Air France never made a issue of the exact same baggage that Alitalia said was to big. The bags fit fine on all airlines we have traveled. The flight was delayed 45 minutes which made my connection a bit tight. I was connecting to Air France which is part of The SkyTeam alliance comprises with Alitalia but my luggage could not be moved to the Flight to LAX so I had to get the bag I did check and go through the process all over again."

No one was queuing properly and the airline staff failed to address this or even announce we were boarding! Had to bus there and this was slow and tedious. Had the same problem with queuing once at the plane. Flight was delayed and this was not mentioned or apologized for at all. The seats were jammed in and uncomfortable. The bathrooms were disgusting and not checked by staff. Landing was barely announced. Just an awful airline all around. Won’t book with them again if I can help it!"
