Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Nadelen: "Le check-in online n'était malheureusement pas disponible. Certaines difficultés rencontrées avec le site internet faisaient en sorte que la procédure pour obtenir la carte d'embarquement prenait légèrement plus de temps."

Nadelen: "With Kayak I booked Tel Aviv to Malta with 1 hour stop in Athens. The first flight was delayed by an hour hence making me lose my second flight. Aegean then booked me on a flight to Catania (Italy) for a different connection to Malta. Only that this Aegean flight was also delayed by an hour making me miss the second connection. Eventually I arrived in Malta 15 hours later than scheduled. Aegean customer service reps were extremely unhelpful and made this 10 times more difficult. I missed a whole vacation day, amassed roaming telephone charges and on top of that missed a reservation for Dinner in the Sky Malta."

Nadelen: "The flight was from 2-5am (local destination time). The company/captain/crew made the decision to have the lights on during the whole flight. The service of drinks and refreshments had to stop for some minor turbulence (I've had much worse where service was uninterrupted). We had to wait until 30 minutes before landing to be served food. It wasn't clear if this was the company's way of apologizing for the interruption of service. They served us a full course dinner with baked pasta with cheese and beef at 4am. I found that to be quite random, disorienting and inappropriate. There was no entertainment options provided on flight"

Nadelen: "The common TV screens went on forcing everyone to watch this loud boring segment. If you're not going to offer individual screens, simply keep it quiet. It was frustrating to have to listen to that. Also, the food was inedible. The yogurt was fine (packaged), but the spanakopita style baked good was horrible. The filling smelled and the dough was rubbery. Stick to easy basics like eggs. This is coming from someone who eats EVERYTHING"

Nadelen: "They should board the back rows first so that people are not jamming the isle, like they do in Brazil. The boarding ran 15 minutes late."

Nadelen: "I was surprised (like many other) that the ticket did not include any baggage. The cost for the baggage at the counter was more than double of the cost on the web site."

Nadelen: "Everything went wrong. The flight arrived 40 minutes late and I missed my connecting flight because they closed the gate before I could get there. As a result, when I asked both airlines involved (Brussels Air and Portugal Air (TAP) what to do, each airline blamed the other airline for the problem and each said it was my problem to fix. After speaking with ten people and begging them to make the problem right for a problem I did not create, they finally issued me a new ticket but I had to wait 24 hours for the new flight to leave. It was a total breakdown in communication and organization and customer support and problem resolution on the part of the airlines and the airport. I never want to fly these airlines again and never want to take a flight with connections."

Nadelen: "Je n'ai jamais reçu un service de ce genre avec aucune compagnie dans le passé. Avec plus de 50 vols à mon actif dans les 5 dernières année, jamais je n'ai vécu cela. Je travaille dans le tourisme et vous pouvez être certain que je déconseillerai votre compagnie dans le futur à tous mes clients et clientes. Le personnel à bord n'étais pas courtois du tout, aux portes d'embarquement et ainsi qu'au service à la clientèle de votre compagnie. Je n'arrive pas à comprendre d'où vient votre réputation exemplaire après avoir vécu cette expérience. Votre responsable de l'aéroport Pearson International de Toronto a été audieuse et n'a pas été à l'écoute du tout lors de notre rencontre. Avec plus de 2500$ dépensé pour un aller-retour Paris/Montréal et ce genre de service en retour j'attendais un minimum de considération venant d'une compagnie digne de votre renommée. Mon conjoint est médecin et vous n'avez pas l'air de réaliser ce que réalise ce genre de situation. Nous étions à temps à la porte et on nous a tout simplement refusé l'accès. Aucune solution possible peu importe ce que nous demandions. Aucune possibilitée d'avoir un vol plus tôt ou simplement de faire livrer bagages à notre domicile. Seulement l'interdiction d'entrer dans l'avion que nous avions choisi et ce avec des raisons valables vue le métier de mon conjoint. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi cela nous retombe sur nous, nous devons payer des dépenses supplémentaires afin de rentrer à temps, alors que sur internet lors de la réservation la correspondance était prévue, et qu'on nous a assuré que les bagages auraient le temps de suivre à Paris. J'espère grandement que vous allez considérer ce message et que vous allez faire quelque chose autre qu'un courriel d'excuse."

Nadelen: "Problème à l'enregistrement en ligne car mon billet Air Canada n'existait pas dans la base de données Brussels Airlines. Cela m'a valu presque 2 heures de téléphone avec Air Canada (0.15 euro la minute). Et puis au comptoir d'enregistrement, nouveau gros problème, celui-là très grave à mon sens. L'agent de comptoir m'a dit que je n'avais pas d'ESTA, donc que je ne pouvais pas partir, alors que j'en avais un. En pleine panique, j'ai appelé ma mère qui heureusement a retrouvé en 5 minutes dans son ordinateur mon numéro d'ESTA. Cela m'a causé une très grosse frayeur, car c'était presque le moment de la fermeture de l'enregistrement, et m'a vraiment gâché le voyage. Je me plains donc franchement du manque de gentillesse et de la qualité du service de l'agent de comptoir. Je précise que j'étais en billet retour, donc il aurait été facile à l'egent de penser que j'avais un ESTA puisque j'avais fait escale à Chicago aussi à l'aller."

Nadelen: "The crew really didn't follow protocols and manage the guests. The family next to me all had large duffle bags in their laps which should have been stowed. There was a large group of teenage girls on board constantly roaming around and congregating in the aisles. Just a number of little things that added up to make a quick 2 hour trip seem longer."

Nadelen: "It's Ryanair. So, no further comments required..."

Voordelen: "Ryanair are thieves and they denied to board me because they said they do not accept my residence card (with which I travelled to Schengen countries before with other airlines) and their website do not mention that I cannot travel with this kind of residence card."
Nadelen: "If they conform European laws and treat their own employees better and stop making their own rules by distancing themselves from other airlines."

Nadelen: "It's Ryanair. We know that they won't change."

Voordelen: "No frills, but for a quick trip it was excellent. Lots of leg room"

Nadelen: "We were traveling across Europe with no access to internet. We trued to check in night before from hotel, we had a week connection. Thought we will do it from airport just like the United States. However, due to long line, wemissed tbe two hour window and were charged 55 euro per person. There was 5 of us. Therewere 5 of us. We felt cheTed and scorged."

Nadelen: "The seats are small and they don’t lay back even when I upgraded to priority. I had to ask for food and water and paid a lot. But mainly the flight was delayed over 2 hours before boarding and then another 45 min in the cramped plan:("

Nadelen: "The staff st the gate was extremely rude to all people. If you asked a question you got a rude answer/response. Was not a good flight at all"

Nadelen: "If they don’t speak good English and have heavy accents, why don’t they slow down the announcements, so people have at least a small chance to understand???"

Nadelen: "The check in process was extremely slow and the line up was very long with only 2 crew members checking people in"

Voordelen: "Nothing -apart from the fact I eventually got to the destination I needed the same day!!"
Nadelen: "The delays. The lack of information. It became obvious we were not going to leave on time. But No announcement. nobody told us of the delay - or why. Then the conflicting information. Technical problems. Flight cancelled. Go to Ryan air deal to organise your own forward travel. Then - once back through Police & customs. No - flight going to happen!!! I have more to say about service & crew - but no space"

Nadelen: "I find it incredibly ridiculous that a flight is half full and I’m deliberately seated away from my husband just so Ryan Air can make an extra £4 per seat. I get that they want to make money but that’s pushing it too far. I sat next to someone who was also traveling with someone else. That lady’s companion came back and told her the seat next to her was empty. By then everyone was already settled in. Is it really worth the £8 for two people? I’m sorry but that’s just petty."
