Voordelen: "For the most part it really was a most excellent flight, especially the Dubai to SF leg where there were SO MANY CHILDREN around [should get a free upgrade just for surviving that] but the flight crew did exceptionally well and remained calm all the way through. Apart from one grumpyish woman on the second flight the majority of crew were exceptional and really went out of their way to serve and help."
Nadelen: "I slashed my finger fairly painfully on a toilet door while pushing it from the outside to open it on the Dubai to Cape Town flight [again, an upgrade on my home flight which is a bucket list dream would more than make up for that!] which i pointed out to a flight attendant and they took note of it and bandaged me up so it was dealt with well but hopefully that gets sorted out [she said she would write a report] cos it did unfortunately affect the rest of my flight a little... And so many crying babies [thankful for volume control on headphones] but literally that was it - love flying Emirates cos on the whole felt super well treated..."

Please have restroom facilities in boarding area, past security so you can use the restroom without having to go through security again. Also, if food and beverage is available for sale in the boarding area more passengers would make purchases."

Nadelen: "After thorough check (and hours at the airport) at the holiday destination, Dubai, my luggage was deemed lost. The DXB lost luggage staff helped me complete a 'lost luggage' report. However, the staff member told me that 'if' RwandAir found my luggage, I would be responsible for going to the airport as RwandAir does not have lost luggage delivery like most airlines. For the six days of my holiday, I waited for phone calls and checked emails expecting to hear from RwandAir. I heard nothing, RwandAir had made no effort of any kind to locate my luggage they had mishandled. Upon flying back home, I checked with the initial airport (DXB), the transit airport (Kigali), and my final destination airport (Brazzaville). My luggage was not in any of the airports mentioned. In each airport, and the RwandAir office at the Brazzaville airport, I presented the initial lost luggage form from the prior week and it was apparent that nobody, no airport, and no office was interested in finding my luggage. RwandAir, at no point, apologized for losing my belongings or in any way attempted to make up for seriously harming my holiday- not to mention the fact that it appears I will never see my possessions that were last seen being taken by RwandAir staff at the beginning of my holiday travels."

Nadelen: "Check-in closes one hour before your flight. Economy class: Food was a clingwrapped sandwich. The attendant gave me two bottles of a good South African wine. Security has gotten quite uptight at Kigali airport. They now stop your cab a couple hundred meters short of the airport, and have a dog check the vehicle. You have to pass through another security checkpoint at the entry to the airport building, and a third security into the boarding area. The final security check even takes away any empty bottles you have. And don't take any fingernail scissors in your handcarry, even if they have blunt points. You may have an hour or more wait in preboarding, and without water or bathroom excess. So takke care of these needs in advance."

It was a complete disaster. So, the 1:10hrs between Cluj and Istambul is not enough for an US flight. You guys must schedule more time so people can get to the US plane on time. The Airline is amazing, good food, good crew, great sits, but please work on this schedule because it's so exhausting to stay an additional 11 hours on the road."

Delay due to lack of personnel!

The flight that you gave us, JQ7 from Melbourne did not exist. Therefore we had to stay in Melbourne for another 24 hours and find another new route and flights to return to Heathrow. All a strain and stress. Your service to us for the return journey useless. So far, I have not found that you have corrected any of your failings and therefore it could also happen again to others tomorrow, next week, or next month. The return journey was a total disaster.
Wrote in the previous message. Poor. Delayed flight and lost working day. 4.5h together to rebook the flight, get the hotel voucher, get to the hotel and check in. Insanely slow.

Voordelen: "The food service was good and the flight attendants were friendly."
Nadelen: "The plane was very uncomfortable. The seats were small, you felt on top of the person next to you, and there was no leg room. I am a pretty small person- I can't image how uncomfortable all of the taller passengers must have been."
The service is a bit impersonal. That doesn’t bother me but may bother some. Not rude, just a real “we don’t care that you’re here”
The plane was so hot that I was sweating throughout the entire flight. As a result the liquid provided was not enough and remainder thirsty thru the entire flight. The meals were nice. If anything you provided to much food.
Flew business class with Egypt Air. Didn't feel much of a business class experience aside from the fact that you can flatten your seat. The food was just okay-too salty overall, seat wasn't comfortable when put into bed position.
Staff were very nice and professional. 🙏. International/domestic recheck was very confusing
All and all it was an easy flight. We were in business class. Strangely, while we were offered some food which we did not want, we were never offered anything to drink including water. The boarding process was a bit chaotic. Everyone had to identify there bags at the plane as a safety precaution which was fine. But the communications about this was non existent. Israel has a very strict protocol for entry. There is an entry form that must be filled in and then, if everything is ok, you get an e-mail approval that you must show to the airline. Instead of asking for this they asked to see our “green passport” which is only a document to be used in Israel. Luckily, we had copies of ours. All of this is not significant. As someone that lives in Israel but love Egypt, I am so happy that we have direct flights now.

Nadelen: "The plane was old, the seats were uncomfortable with no adjustable headrest or flaps to hold your head from flopping. There was no personal entertainment screens on the back of the seats, only the small community one mounted on the roof. The sound for this was terribly unclear. 8 hour boring flight."

Aux 2/3 du vol, nous avons eu l’Impression d’être dans un sauna. Atroce ! Alors que d’habitude j’ai toujours froid !"

Nadelen: "Vegetarian food was poor. It was just boiled vegetables. Even the bread that was given to others was not there. They treated Vegetarian food as Vegan food (although it was specified as vegetarian), so there was no butter, no yogurt and nothing but boiled vegetables and fruit salad. Hard to sustain oneself with that on a 12 hour flight! I asked the flight attendant for yogurt who just ignored my request."
Nadelen: "when issues electronic boarding pass it was mentioned I have to leave from terminal 3 .. when went there they said it is wrong & changed to seasonal terminal which is 30 mnts drive by the terminals bus.. very frustrating experience"
Nadelen: "Everything is bad, food is horrible, tea is cold, AC is not cold and not serving even water for 2 hours since the take off. When arrived we got transported to terminal in old bus after waiting long time for the bus to return from taking the first patch of passengers."
Voordelen: "Personnel was great. Delicious and frequent food and drinks."
Nadelen: "I asked for wheelchair service but I never received it."

Voordelen: "Flight wasn't packed. Reasonable room for carryons. Seat next to me was open, though most seats were full."
Nadelen: "There was a late gate change in Cairo, which was not communicated to the new gate personnel. They were not ready to receive, there was no female screener which required a delay for the ladies to enter the gate area, and the plane was late leaving. Not a crisis, but was entirely avoidable. Also, I suggest avoiding long layovers in the Cairo airport. There are few chairs outside the eating areas."

Voordelen: "We had a 10 hour lay-over in Cairo and EgyptAIr shuttled us to an excellent hotel and provided lunch and dinner - all for free. This was most excellent and so much more pleasant than sitting at the airport!"
Nadelen: "If EgyptAir would distribute a little English sheet how the steps are, where to get the passports back (at the EgyptAir Counter in the main hall at the airport), which lines to go to (we didn't officially immigrate, but still had to go through immigration upon return, which wasn't clear). Maybe a word on legal boundaries of the status in Egypt - EgyptAir had the passport, can we go to the pyramids or not - would be useful, too."

Nadelen: "Retard d'arrivée à la porte d'embarquement de personnel féminin pour le contrôle de sécurité avant de pouvoir procéder au boarding. Toutes les femmes ont du attendre très longtemps avant de pouvoir embarquer. Le personnel m'a réveillé pour manger alors que j'étais assoupie"
Nadelen: "After buying stuff at the airport we were not allowed to take it on the plane as there was additional security just before boarding. I had to throw away water and Pepsi cans. I thought this was ridiculous"
Voordelen: "No problems. As could be expected. Would do again."
Voordelen: "Overall the flight was good. The boarding process became a bit hectic in Joburg and arriving in Cairo was a mess too. Our baggage took too long to arrive on the belt and people were still waiting for their luggage after I had gotten mine. No one from EgyptAir told us anything which confused us even more. Next time have more organization and communication with passengers."
