The booking agent didn’t complete all the way in the computer. I am thankful that I had my original paper and Swiss airlines fix it"

Nadelen: "Because the flight was delayed, boarding seemed a bit chaotic. Everybody tried to board at the same time. The seat had technical issues - it would either recline or be upright. The crew had to spend quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to return from a flat bed to the upright position. Entertainment was re-booted 3-4 times during the flight to get it to work consistently."

Nadelen: "I was not able to buy from the duty free discounted offers on the plane. The discounted shopping panflet was not on my LA/Zurich flight.... so I didn't see it and did not buy then.... And on my second part of the trip Zurich/Nice they refused to sell me to me from the Duty Free because they didn't have time..... :( The dark hair flight attendant in the back of that plane was not informative or nice....I had to talk to the head flight attendant in the front of the plane, she was more professional! Other than that everything was good!"

Nadelen: "Need to make it more clear that it is necessary to complete a second passport controle at the boarding gate....causing confusion for some travelers who are not aware of this extra step"

Voordelen: "Booked a flight to Europe. Online check in easy. Luggage dropoff at JFK had no line for online check in. Flight was on time, my luggage arrived in my final destination fine (had 1 transfer). Crew was efficient and attentive."
Nadelen: "Spaces for seats in the economy class are shrinking. With Swiss Air, seems more so as the seats recline quite a bit which is of course good for an 8-9 hours flight. However if the passenger in front of you reclines their seats, you absolutely are forced to recline yours immediately, otherwise no one will fit. Flight attendants have to ask passengers to put the seats back from reclining during meal service so people can open the food tray and are able to access it, that is how much the seats tilt."

Nadelen: "I find Swiss’ pricinh policy for on-board internet totallh ludicrous and an outright insult. Also, I sometimes appreciate a bit more empathy in the way things get announced - no announcement for security video or when they disrupt a movie with their Swiss commercial clips - they just turn it on. Not abtreat experience."

Nadelen: "I have just had the most unpleasant experience with Swiss Air and feel that anyone on FB should be very careful when dealing with this airline. I am a Gold Member of Star Alliance for more than 20 years and have flown dozens of times on Swiss and would expect courtesy and consideration in return for my loyalty to their airline. Their flight from Hong Kong to Zurich leaves at 00:15. I mistakenly booked this for Nov 9th instead of the intended late evening of the 9th which then turns out to be Nov 10th. When I discovered my error, I called Swiss at least six times to explain my error and ask if my son could stand by for the same flight on the 10th or even apply the amount to rebook the same flight the next day. ZERO flexibility or consideration. Missed flight, lose entire value. Start from scratch. Astonished that an airline that claims to be serving their customers would treat me this way. I travel through Europe at least 6-10 times a year from Asia. I will now route through Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, London, Vienna, Instanbul or even Moscow before ever going through Zurich again. I encourage anyone making travel plans to be very careful when considering flights with Swiss Airlines. Perhaps this treatment of a loyal customer explains why they went through bankruptcy already once."

Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "When I check-in for flight from Rome to Istanbul and Istanbul to Los Angeles, only the first leg of trip was confirmed correctly. For the leg from Istanbul to Los Angeles I confirmed a window seat when I checked-in online. However, when I arrived at the airport I has a middle seat and could not change it and the 15 hour flight was miserable. I also asked to be upgraded to business class and told it would be $3,500.00, which was ridiculous."

The people in the check in bags did not care if we missed our flight, was very rude and sloooooowwww!!! I have been to many airports and this is by far the worst! I had to run to my gate and ran into another check where they let me pass bc my flight was about to close! Made it 2 minutes before the bus left! Nightmare!!!"

Voordelen: "Je suis allergique à la moutarde et aux à l’avance d’en faire part sur le site d’enregistrement. J’ai tenté d’appeler mais après avoir perdu 20 minutes j’ai abandonné. Conséquence j’ai mangé un bout de pain et une barre tendre! De plus, le personnel était plus ou moins compréhensif et accomodant."

Conduite lamentable."

Nadelen: "Vol avec retard depuis geneve, ensuite vol annulé depuis Frankfurt, jlai mon voyage à duré 12h au total, avec un retard à l'arrivée au quel j'ai atterri à 23:15."
