Nadelen: "Economy seats. No recline. THAT IS NOT BUSINESS CLASS - This is a joke! Putting an empty seat in the middle does not make it business class. Mis-leading seat image when selecting seats. Shows Buisness class large and 2X2 and Economy at 3x3. When you get on the plane it just a one large economy plane with a mark in business "Extra space for you in the middle seat". Food was cold food - no hot food on the whole plane - only hot coffee. I am not paying 4 times the amount to get economy seats that I can get and most probably get lucky and have an empty seat next to me. STAR ALLIANCE IS REALLY GOING DOWN AND LUFTHANSA IS THE WORST. Will never travel Lufthansa business class every again."

Nadelen: "The boarding was rather slow (but not extremely so). Calling boarding by row ranges, like some other airlines do, may speed it up or make it more comfortable. The seats were not too comfortable, but within what one can expect for an Economy class --- and not too bad, either."

Voordelen: "I brought my wedding dress with me and on both flights, the flight attendents were so attentive to that and hung in it the cabin crew closet. It was that extra step of care that I am grateful for!"

Nadelen: "I got a headache on the flight; it did go away until I got good air in Frankfort. Bathrooms were a bit low in number necessitating long waits. This has become routine."

Nadelen: "Delay of 45 minutes made me almost miss my connecting flight."

Nadelen: "Three pieces of luggage two got to my destination two and a half days which means I had to purchase cloths to wear and personal items. The third piece of luggage was three and a half days late. Which is was are Christmas presents were delivered late afternoon. There wasn’t any compensation for the inconvenience of having to change of plans of staying around the house waiting for luggage when we paid for hotel rooms and we didn’t get a refund on our trip we couldn’t take. When we knew flights from Frankfurt to München ran daily. Very disappointed. Byron becker we flew from Florida Orlando fo Munich Germany and paid a high price for traveling. Also we were bumped three times fro, Frankfurt to. Much each time on standby. Very disappointed. Sorry but this is the truth."

Voordelen: "I flew economy class both ways across the Atlantic in Feb and March, 2017. I took 6 Lufthansa flights. The crew is so professional and attentive. They don't skimp on drinks! The seats seem bigger...or maybe it is more leg room than some other airlines. I did not upgrade and was very comfortable."
Nadelen: "Well, the flight from Frankfurt to Tel Aviv both ways and there were only 2 bathrooms for a pretty big flight."

Nadelen: "My family took a flight earlier and my daughter complained about giving chicken to her although she was registered asian vegeterian. Same think happened to me as well. I was offered chicken even when i asked for asian vegeterian. When i asked to replace with vege option, the crew member replace with sea food, If this happens again, on my return flight, i am not going to let it go."

Voordelen: "Being seated in econmony plus. Everything behind the scenes that i didn't see that made this flight safe. Very thankful. Didn't matter that not enough coffee was onboard for breakfast."
Nadelen: "The selection and range of music could be improved, or may be it is just my taste within the genres on offer."

Voordelen: "Everything about the United Airlines portion of the trip was terrific: lots of food & drinks; good entertainment system; good seats even in economy. United really stepped up their game."
Nadelen: "The seats on the Austria Airlines portion of the trip were very close together & very minimally structured (little padding, depth etc.)"

Nadelen: "I was switched seats against my will on board! Although i reserved the seat ahead of time when i got in i was pretty much forced to sit somewhere else. The staff handled the sitution in a very poor manner!"

Nadelen: "Original flight cancelled so rebooked ojba floght five hours later - then with one hour to go until that second flight, that was cancelled as well. Totally unhelpful ground staff, who were oblivious to the fact that I had a work commitment the next day so couldn’t overnight in some random hotel at an airport to suit Austrian’s policies. Eventually routed via Lisbon which meant literally flying all night to arrive at 0600. Lufthansa and Austrian have some serious faults to correct."

Nadelen: "It was pretty cold on the plane, Entertainment , was not current on the movies selection."

Voordelen: "Service was good and the crew was courteous and friendly"
Nadelen: "Online check-in did not allow me to select my seat. It was already assigned and didn't let me change it Boarding was later than scheduled and caused my connecting flight at O'Hare hectic This was the first time that I had ordered Kosher food and I would never make that mistake again, the meal was okay but the sandwich was awful and had no taste!"

Nadelen: "Flight was cancelled on the first day. I had to call to find out that I was rebooked on a flight the next day."

Voordelen: "I liked that the airplane was newer and comfortable. The crew and food was ok."
Nadelen: "There was no entertainment unless you paid for it. We already pay enough for our tickets to fly and entertainment should be included and not another added expense, especially for families that already pay so much for their flights!"

Voordelen: "Liked all except the food"
Nadelen: "Did not like the food. I specifically selected vegeterian meal however was served vegan meal which I did not enjoy"

Voordelen: "it was mess, so I cant say positive thing"
Nadelen: "Well, it was all messed up by kayak and priceline. I clearly stated in your search engine I want flight with checked baggage, for which you gave me results. What a unpleasant surprise at check-in to find out it was super expensive airticket with only 8 kg of carry on! You are confusing people on purpose, I cant believe your service! And I was loyal customer for years and years. Well, time for change."

Voordelen: "The crew was friendly, seats were comfortable and boarding was prompt and fast."
Nadelen: "The food was not good at all and the entertainment selection was so limited. This was so weird because coming back from Vienna it was the complete opposite."

Voordelen: "Nothing, we never got to go on our flight to Vienna. The only good thing is the manager, Servando, found us an alternative route after some delay. Even then, we had to haggle and really fight for fair treatment for a mistake that was 100% the airline's fault."
Nadelen: "Our seats were involuntarily given away by the airport staff. We were never notified until we were scanning our tickets to board in. At that time, we had already checked in and received our boarding passes, as well as checking in 3 bags while we were traveling with a large group. There was no way we wanted to volunteer our seats, especially since we had a transfer flight to catch. We clearly stated we did NOT want to volunteer our seats at the ticket counter. No staff notified us until we were about to get on the plane to board. The flight supervisor was very rude and unprofessional, offering us no alternative solutions. I was really disappointed with such a grievous mistake by the airline, and I would not recommend flying Austrian Airlines unless it was absolutely the only airline available. They need to fix their processes for authorizing when they volunteer a passenger's seat. This caused our group a lot of stress and almost became a logistical nightmare."

Nadelen: "No one available nor willing to help with checking process. Told to just try the checking machines."

Voordelen: "Arriving alive. Attentive service was a nice bonus."
Nadelen: "I am alive. Everything else seems utterly petty (even the total lack of dancing monkeys!)"

Nadelen: "The worst airline, customer service ever"

Nadelen: "The fact that the luggage wasn’t included in the Austrian flight, nor anywhere was pointed out to that so I had to pay extra for it."

Nadelen: "Entertainment options are limited. Austrian flight attendants were quite grumpy on this flight."

Nadelen: "Buses to aircrafts. No snack on short flights."

Nadelen: "Our flight was cancelled at the time we were suppose to board. We had to find another flight via Istanbul and got to our destination 6 hours late. Won't use Kayak again."

Nadelen: "Plane took off and landed late.. Few amenities near the gate. Odd procedure to have everyone go through security into waiting area."

Voordelen: "Very organized airline. Friendly staff."

Nadelen: "Crew wasn't very helpful and didn't ensure my stroller was delivered at the aircraft exit Had trouble closing my suitcase into the overhead compartment and called for assistance, to which i got reprimanded for opening it in the first place Requested coffee because i couldn't get it myself, being with a sleeping toddler, to which i got a horrible answer: the flight attendant told me i had to get it myself in the kitchenette"

Voordelen: "Hi there, the gate for the flight was changed at the last minute and I missed the connecting flight from Frankfurt to Vienna. I was told by staff that there would be a 300 Euro fee, plus the cost of the next flight. This broke my heart. why I wouldn't I simply be put on standby and get on the next flight? I ended up travelling by to Vienna by train, over the course of the next several days. I am a lone woman with a developmental disability, travelling to Europe for the first time. It was very disappointing to be treated this way. Thanks for reading."

Nadelen: "The birding officer didn't inform me about the visa requirements to cross from Dusslouf to Vinna airport. This caused a big problem for me in the airport, where I: 1- Wasn't allowed to catch my flight ti Vinnea and this was both financial and time lost for me. 2- I was locked in Dussluff airport for more than 14 hours, I was threatened to be sent back to USA or any other country. This caused physiological damage for me, as I been treated like an animal 3- I was asked to pay for my new ticket ( Dussloff - Istanbul-Amman )"

Voordelen: "When you travel with an infant it's already a difficult trip but it's really fraustrating when you find out that they didn't assign you to the seats with the baby bassanet, and when I went to the counter to fix the problem instead they change our window seats to an isle seats without even asking or notifying us with the changes, and they when I asked how come you don't automatically assign infant reservations to infant seats their excuse was what if there were more infants than available infant seats and they already gave out those seats with extended leg space to others who already had paid for it, and surprisingly there were multiple of infants on board none of them in those seats but rather the other passengers who paid for it, so basically they got paid extra and you will only suffer for almost 10 hrs so they can make extra profit. NEVER AGAIN AUSTRIAN AIRLINES!!!"
