According to IATA and international rules I am now due a full refund on my flight cost and will start proceedings against Turkish Airlines for this money. It was a nightmare for all the hours waiting. We also had to deplane in IST from the JFK flight on steps rather than into a gate!! Same with the TLV/IST flight. Terrible."

If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."
Voordelen: "Seat space continued to be better than BA. Nice surprise to get an evening meal on the last leg to Rome. I actually was able to sleep a bit on this smaller airplane as well. Crew went out of its way to help people board and load bags overhead. They seemed very attentive, and tried to provide extra drink options even."
Nadelen: "Boarding process at IST was a challenge. We left from a remote gate, and the agent didn't seem interested in the boarding process. I heard no announcements, maybe because it didn't matter as everyone was crowding the door 15 minutes before boarding began. The agent seemed perturbed, but I've seen it on almost every Italian bound flight. No one wants to wait. It is actually a bit amusing to watch the struggle between boarding policies and a group of people who seem determined to ignore them. The buses were also pretty well packed. More so in Rome than IST. Not much organization in loading at either place. After all the passport control they left us to walk outside to wait for the bus. Maybe you can tell I'm not a fan of remote gates."

It was so spectacular that I didn't want to leave it. I found a small movie theatre equipped with leather oversized recliners and slept. I was told that the 2 story lounge is 6000 square meters."

Not only did I miss my flight, I had to book for the next day at a outrageous price. SUPER BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...BOTH KAYAK and PRICELINE. Will never recommend you guys to anyone."
Nadelen: "Le site internet nous a pas expliqué que pour le Vietnam au-delà de 15 jours il fallait un visa du coup on a perdu le billet de l'allée plus on va reprendre un billet cela nous a coûté 1000 € juste pour l'aller de plus de nos voyages cela est inadmissible j'aurais pu nous avertir qu'un visa en une heure été délivrable. Je comprends pas qu'on travaille en aéroport en plus pas nous indiquer ou même le site au-delà de 15 jours voir d'autres pays quand on y va il nous faut un visa c'est inadmissible de perdre 1000 € sans compter qu'ils ont même pas fait un geste pour au moins reprendre un vol ça ne coûte plus cher que si on prenait un voilà par. Je recommande pas la compagnie Vietnam Airlines ce sont des gros voleurs des escrocs"

It's 1 am before I get to my room and crash (no pun intended). Besides the incompetent organizational response in a crisis: The plane was not cleaned Dry -- no alcohol on board Food was meh. Looooooong 36 hours with Egyptair."

I checked in online but airline changed our seating without telling us. Egypt Air created this airline only for flights to Tel Aviv, so difficult to find checkin counters. One feels they don’t encourage people to take the flight."

Nadelen: "I purchased this ticket as ONE ticket--Ethiopian Air to Dubai, and then flydubai to Amman. Ethiopian Air wouldn't check my luggage to my final destination, so in Dubai, for a 3 hour layover, I had to go through immigration, exchange money, and take a taxi for 30 minutes through rush-hour traffic to a different terminal. That is ridiculous. Don't sell it as one ticket if the two airlines won't cooperate together."

Nadelen: "Unfortunately, I had to request earphones (which were not supplied in the seat pocket in front of me) five times from three different attendants over the course of an hour and a quarter before I was given them. This was not just so I could watch a movie but because the quality of the plane's public address system made it very difficult to listen to the announcements from the captain and the crew. Listening on earphones I was able to hear everything clearly. Why it had to take so long just to give me earphones I don't know."

Nadelen: "The entire flight was fully booked and plane full of people with bad hygiene whose smell was so offensive that I was nauseous. My friend and I were the only two Western people on the plane and forced to sit in the last row of the plane next to the toilets. Passengers were rude and pushed us during boarding, on the bus, and when leaving the plane. It was disgusting."
Nadelen: "Terrible food (chopped cold spaghetti with no flavor) and terrible service (crew forgot to offer me tea or water, did not come when called) and over one hour late with no apologies given"

Fortunately I was on the phone and bought a ticket on line. What can be done? Why must we pay for others mistakes"

Nadelen: "I didnt like the fact that im a paying customer and when i pressed the flight attendant call button to get the attention of a cabin crew, waited for about 15 minutes and nobody showed up, bear in mind that it wasnt the busiest time of flight. I had to wake up the customer sitting next to me so i can walk to the back galley where i found 4 cabin crew members sitting down and chit chatting about their personal lives completely ignoring the chime/sound and light above my seat when i pressed the F/A call button. When i asked for water, one of the cabin crew members pointed towards a bottle of bottle and told me to serve myself as if im a non-paying customer. I paid for my ticket, why should i do their job. In a nutshell, the customer service sucks, for least money i could have taken another airline with better service."

Nadelen: "too much layover hour and they changed it after we purchased the flight ticket .that is very bad blc we missed our connecting flight and we have to purchase another flight which cost us additional 500 dollars."
Nadelen: "The boarding process was so extensive and repetitive. We were taken to the plane in the middle of the tarmac in sweltering heat and had to stand outside and wait to board the plane. The heat once inside the plane was unbearable and uncomfortable. My seat didn't recline, so I wasn't able to fully relax. Although I can for the crew, English may not be their first language. It needs to be ensured that the English of the crew member making the announcements is understandable. There were so many announcements but the English was rendered unintelligible for the most part. One of the baggage for one of my family members was not there on our arrival but we've since been notified that it has been found and well be sent to us"
Voordelen: "Hospitality and respect of the flight attendants. I had 11 hours layover and they made it seem like it was just an hour. My flight back fro Morocco to NY was a breeze. I will do this flight over again if I had the chance. Thanks Air Moroc."

Nadelen: "Royal Air Maroc canceled both their outward and inbound flights on two separate occasions resulting in 2 X 30 minutes calls to my airline for them to fix it. For the returning flight it meant putting me on another airline resulting in a long stopover without any additional compensation."
Nadelen: "I arrived from Tunis with late time more than 45 min ,I must run to reach my connection to Washington during a rush hour... boarding in time but comfort and food need to be seen and revue. Entertainment need an up date a lot of old movies and a lot of screens were not working and need to be fixed. It was a very bad experience with 5 days delay and no one helped me to fix the situation . even kayak sent old information about my trip."

Nadelen: "The customer service. They ignore you when you want to escalate issues to a manager, they are agressive in treatment. They cancelled all of my flight legs because I missed an intermediate flight leg and did not notify me. I found out at the airport when I was about to take my last leg. I understand some airlines have policies around no shows but this airline did not have the decency to even notify me of the cancellation so I could plan around it."

Voordelen: "The transit service was very nice. The free hotel service was also very nice while in transit. Overall it was great first time experience as I was a bit hesitant to fly with RAM at first, but the flight went smooth."
Nadelen: "As I got to my destination, I including many others did not receive all their luggages, some didn't get any of their luggages until the next day. One of my luggages arrived on time, the other one came the next day but nothing was stolen. Thank God. That was the only CON"

Nadelen: "I was told in Casablanca by the check in staff that my checked bags would go all the way to my final destination of Washington, DC, but they were offloaded to a NYC carousel during my first stop to the US. I wasn't told this was going to happen. The lady at Air Maroc said someone told us as we walked off the plane, but I was told it was said intermittently. So I missed it. I was lucky someone told me that it happened. Also the woman from Air Maroc that I rechecked my bags to was so apathetic to what happened. I said I was lodging a complaint - she was smirking and didn't care. It was pretty off putting. All I said was I suggest the announcement is made before you get off the airplane - like when the captain or flight staff announces the gates to connections. It was pretty disappointing."
