Nadelen: "The place's we are sitting can be better"

Nadelen: "The flight from LAX Ron Istambul was delayed for 2.5h, then the flight from Istanbul to belgrade was delayed by 3.5h. Then we learned that our luggage did not arrive, after waiting for all the bags to come out. This was by far the worst flight we have ever experienced!"

Voordelen: "-Flight staff -Flight entertainment"
Nadelen: "-Last hour gate change -Parking lot instead of gate (both in Wien and Istanbul) -The answer of counter person about the crowdness"

Voordelen: "The New York operation seemed much better. Our flight arrived late and was met by airline representatives looking to help passengers with tight connections. Arriving transfer passengers must go through Turkish airport security. Turkish security did set up an operation right at the gate. This both expedited things and relieved the stress of going through the process far from the gate."
Nadelen: "Seat was very uncomfortable. The plane was an older Boeing 777 (it had no winglets) and I think the seat cushion was the original one. Turkish Airlines does not communicate with its passengers. If the flight is late (as both of ours were), you wait with no information as to when the flight leaves. The same lack of communication occurs once you on board. I joked to my wife that the cargo on a Fed-Ex flight is given more information."

Voordelen: "Quick flight, friendly crew. It was nice that food was provided on such a short flight (though international, so it makes sense), and it wasn't bad."
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed on the runway, no real announcements about the delay were made."

Nadelen: "This flight seems to be overbooked a lot! Why does Turkish Airlines let this happen so often? Had the same situation on my way to Istanbul. It just takes sooo much time and everything will be delayed and people get angry all along...."

Nadelen: "Long overnight flight in Economy Class, little legroom. As I am larger than average and find it hard to sleep on flights, the cramped conditions were extremely uncomfortable"

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Voordelen: "Very impressed! So impressed that actually called home to tell others to make sure they booked through Turkish airline for their travel next month!"

Voordelen: "Crew was top notch. Very friendly and accommodating. Always a smile on their faces. Arline was nice and clean. Long flight but comfortable. Keep it up and continue to improve. I will be a repeat costumer"
Nadelen: "no complaints whatsoever"

Nadelen: "We were traveling with our 1 year old. On any other flight, we've been given seats with extra legroom and a bassinet when available. Turkish airlines put us crammed in a window and middle seat for a 9 hour flight. It was absolutely un-doable. Everyone around us realized this and tried to help as we asked the flight attendant to help us and she said that I should ask other people to move around not her. We had to go around the plane begging people who were sitting with a bassinet and no baby to trade seats with us. It was an absolutely horrible experience. It was the airline's mistake, and we were the ones forced to try to fix it. Yes, we got a bassinet eventually, but not before we saw how mean and selfish other passengers could be pretending not to hear us and ignoring us. And no help from the crew."

Voordelen: "The crew looked after the children on the flight giving them coloring books, milk and little things I noticed. Therefore the children on the flight didn't fuss a lot therefore they didn't disturb the other passengers"

Voordelen: "I loved the trip! Everything was wander full!"

Nadelen: "If you are members of the same star alliance, you should step up your customer service and transfer bags with your sister company. also Kayak should not make layovers so short. Airlines that are notorious for late departures will cause your bags to be routed wrong, or not at all. poor job all around on customer service."

Voordelen: "the Boarding at ATL airport was catastrophe!!!!!!"

Voordelen: "Despite the computer regulations the THY handled it smoothly in Istanbul. In Atlanta we had to wait at least half an hour to get them back. Service was good, till the end of the flight restrooms were clean. Besides they offer 2-luggage policy. I try to use them as much as I can. Thanks THY"

Nadelen: "The wait for checking hand carry luggage and purse was tooo long. You need more high tech machines to use for checking . Just like United States. So irritating to see how Turkish people checked your bags. There shld be a better way of doing things, like checking hand carry bags , laptops ,, iPods. I was surprises even cameras were withheld and you need to get it in San Francisco"

Voordelen: "Flights attendants were really nice, USB ports on all seats, great selection of free movies and other entertainment, very good vegetarian food."
Nadelen: "Boarding took a long time in Istanbul and could have been handled better. A second inspection was setup At the gate to checks passports, inspect carry-on bags for laptops and iPads, and a pat-down. we were late taking off, the plane was really full, and the cushions on the seats were off a bit. Seems like the plane was cleaned quickly and not put back together carefully."

Nadelen: "Airlines cancelled flights out of Rome and made several changes to our return flight which caused us to stay 22 hrs long layover in Istanbul. We had to make several long phone calls to ensure we can get the connecting flight from istanBill to San Francisco."

Nadelen: "Check in person said we had an exit row seat; we didn't on either of our flights he checked us in for."

Nadelen: "The boarding area at the airport was overly crowded and hectic. It was really difficult to move around with two kids and a few bags."

Nadelen: "My luggage did not come with the flight. Too short a time between Ankara-Istanbul flight and Istanbul-Accra flight. I missed the flight because of delays at Passport Control and had to fly the next day."

Voordelen: "Nothing."
Nadelen: "Worst boarding as flight was late and who ever was boarding us was rude, I get in my seat was taken, flight attendants were the rudest Iv ever dealt with, anything I asked for was not available, air conditioning was not working in the middle part of the plane. I could not stand sitting so I stood in the back the WHOLE 10 hour flight from the heat. I was so uncomfortable I will definitely take action on this one. I will demand a full refund the whole way I was extremely upset."

Voordelen: "Good service. Food was very good. Roomy seats and very good in flight entertainment system. Made the 12 hour flight very comfortable."

Nadelen: "The seats on the second flight were smaller and we had no flight console (no movies, usb charge..)"

Voordelen: "It is on time, crew is professional. In general, the flight was ok."
Nadelen: "Pillows & blankets are not always available. Seats are not comfortable. More bread is needed for the breakfast meal."

Voordelen: "The flight was comfortable and on time. My congratulations to THY for the management of the situation so well right after the confusion brought about by the coup d'etat attempt in Turkey. Thanks a lot!"
Nadelen: "The Sabiha Gökçen airport in Istanbul is discrageful, and changing flights there is always a horrible experience. But this is not, of course, the fault of THY. The airport is simply too small for the current number of flights."

Voordelen: "Everything was perfect during the flight."
Nadelen: "However, our luggage did not arrive."

Nadelen: "The vegetarian dish could not be arranged in this case, although it was totally the fault of the third party website"

Nadelen: "There were enormous crowds at Sabiha Gökçen airport. The flight connections were late due to bad weather, and I nearly missed my connection to Brussels. There was no information and no help, and the gate was already closed. The people at the ground terminal knew no foreign languages. All they could say was 'I do not know. This is not my responsibility'. Completely disorganised."

Voordelen: "Boarding was on time and departure as well."
Nadelen: "Entertainment in the whole plain did not work. At arrival we waited about 30 min before exiting the plain."

Voordelen: "We flew during the first week of the Atlanta to Istanbul flight on Turkish airlines. The plane is new, seats were comfortable and in flight service meals were tasty. Good selection of food and alcohol. Also, new movies and good selection of top rated movies to keep us entertained for this 10 hour or so flight."
Nadelen: "Staff wasn't all that friendly. My husband and I fly all the time on domestic and international airlines ( American, Delta, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Korean Air, etc). The flight attendants just do not seem happy at all. They hustle around and speak to passengers in a very brisk and cold manner. Customer service training is warranted if they truly want to be a best in class global airline."

Nadelen: "Very small seat. Had a big person next to me and was quite uncomfortable"

Nadelen: "When we checked in for the return flight in CPH we learned that our return ticket was “light” ie it did not include luggage. we were not informed about this, we did not request a ‘light” return ticket, and...why would we when we checked luggage flying over? We’d like the usd100 refunded"

Nadelen: "The airplane crew was rude. They could have been more nicer regarding food. My mother is diabetic and I asked the lady to get her a small sandwich or something so she can take her meds and plus her sugar levels where getting low. And the lady on her side was really rude and said NO."

Voordelen: "A lot of seating space. very comfortable."
Nadelen: "You have to pay for wifi."

Voordelen: "In time! And with a very nice person Crüe."

Voordelen: "SAS has offered great service on two flights this past week. Look forward to flying them again."

Nadelen: "Late departure. No roof during queuing for loading and rain..."

Voordelen: "Nothing."
Nadelen: "Everything. Our flight was delayed from our departing city because the plane was leaking water on the floor and they had to send in a special cleaning crew to try to stop it. We were not given the seats we pre picked months before when buying the ticket. The ac was broken for the first half of the flight. Then, we missed our connecting flight because of the first delay. Once we got onto a new connecting flight, it was also delayed and once again, we missed our last connecting flight and are not making it to our final destination today."

Nadelen: "Premium economy wasn’t as good as others"

Voordelen: "Everything was bearly acceptable"
Nadelen: "I asked the stewardess if she could fill my water bottle and was actually told that only one glass of water per person was allowed! Next time I would try Norwegian Air, which is known as a budget airline."

Nadelen: "Small seats. food was horrible."

Voordelen: "On time good food excellent entertainment clean plane good crew"

Voordelen: "Seats are pretty comfortably and spacious for economy class (I’m small though, so take that with a grain of salt). The lunch was pretty solid, would have preferred a hot breakfast. The vegetarian breakfast was grilled veggies with fruit and yogurt on the side, kind of a mish-mash of things."
Nadelen: "- Would have liked a better breakfast - More entertainment with subtitles (esp foreign films) - More entertainment selection"

Voordelen: "Le personnel de bord a été très agréable et professionnel. L'embarquement à Stockholm est très bien fait et il n'y a pas de perte de temps."
Nadelen: "Par contre, c'est une seule boisson par personne le reste est payant, les repas sont très moyens et le système de divertissement est très très mauvais. Les contenus sont vieux et l'application est très lente et pa réactive du tout."

Voordelen: "The entire experience was great. Smooth flight, good food and friendly crew."

Voordelen: "Two complimentary meals in addition to complimentary blankets was very nice. Dimming the lights for sleeping was also nice."
Nadelen: "They did not enforce the boarding of the back of the plane after first and business class, as a person sitting in the back of the plane it was a horrible boarding experience. Should also board less rows at a time from back to front. Even though the lights were dimmed I couldn't actually sleep, since the lights were turned back on too often to try to pass out breakfast less than 4 hours after we just had dinner."

Voordelen: "A female pilot! Nice crew. Clean bathroom."
Nadelen: "No complimentary peanuts or cookies! Paying for soda or juice. Very tight legroom. Window wouldn't close."

Voordelen: "There was nothing positive in this experience. Oh, the flight was safe and no one was injured?"
Nadelen: "Charged for checked bag on international flight. Late departure. Only food was a small cup of water on a 3+ hour, lunch time flight -- not even a bag of pretzels. Late arrival with short connection and flight attendant directed us to wrong gate. When we reached final destination, only one of two checked bags showed up."

Voordelen: "Quality of service and equipment"

Nadelen: "Delay after delay. Screaming kid the whole flight. Could not sleep."

Nadelen: "A very dishonest experience. The booking never made it clear that I was not allowed to check my suitcase and I had to pay € 70 extra both coming and going and thereby paid 1 1/2 times more for my suitcase than for my ticket. I am very disappointed to be 'tricked' in this way and consider it a very dishonest business practice."

Voordelen: "The cleanliness"
Nadelen: "I Had checked several times to make sure I had 2 bags included ( standard for US-EU flights) and every time. At the airport I had to pay an extra charge for my second bag which made the flight very expensive and just ruined the whole experience for me"

Voordelen: "New airbus with good entertainment screenset clean"
Nadelen: "Delays on boarding (on departing as well as returning home) Damaged luggage"

Nadelen: "My daughter was feeling nauseous the whole time. She pressed the button to ask for a moist towel but was ignored after much waiting; she pressed again, and more waiting came with no response. She got yelled at when she went to ask politely. I understand the crew can get busy but where is compassion for a customer in need?"

Voordelen: "Being on time"
Nadelen: "Jetlag from the previous flight, please do something about it, just kidding..."

Voordelen: "Great friendly staff. The delay we had going up in the air was caught up before we landed."
Nadelen: "The slight delay due to something not being able to lock."

Voordelen: "Flight from Kirkenes to Oslo delayed, which meant the rest of the flights were unusable. New flights were booked in Oslo through Copenhagen, which only lengthened the original trip time by about 5 minutes."

Voordelen: "Temperatures was good not very hot. Has a handicapped bathroom."
Nadelen: "Cabin light was only slightly dimmed during the 8 hrs flight. Then instead of gradually brighten the light. They just flip the switch to full blast. I think they are trying to sell you more duty free than letting their customers rest. Not ok!"

Nadelen: "Not very many current movies, very cramped."

Voordelen: "Great aircraft, good food, awesome crew, very comfortable seats, the entertainment was really good. Overall super pleased. Hopefully it'll be the same on our return back to DC"

Voordelen: "Quick and easy, nice cabin crew. I experienced no difficulties before or during this flight."
Nadelen: "We did not get food in this flight, it was not necessary because it was only a 1h 25m flight, so I cannot rate it."

Nadelen: "sas online system needs to be overhauled and user friendly. one sas phone agent not helpful, called back and the agent was very helpful"

Voordelen: "Small but very efficient airport Pilot actually flew lo for a period of time to enjoy the view of a Russian village and fjords and glacier"

Voordelen: "Crew was very pleasant. Short flight, so no food was served."
