Voordelen: "I bought a ticket for three persons: my wife, my daughtet and me. I am Nigerian, my daughter American, and my wife's Turkish. However, because of the diplomatic row between Turkey and the U.S., my daughter was refused entry into Turkey. Turkish airlines' policy was to refund the ticket of any American caught in this row. They said they will refund my one month old daughter's ticket. However, my wife and i will not receive a refund. We bought the three tickets together. Our ticket numbers ended in 235...51, 235...52, and 235...53. However, they will not refund our whole money by cancelling the ticket but only that of my daughter. So this is the question: Does Turkish airline want me to leave my one-month old baby in the U.S. and tavel with my wife to Turkey? What kind of parents will we be if we were to abandon our daughter to take a trip to Turkey. Even, the people in Turkish airlines will judge us evil parents, yet that was exactly the only option they gave us. Lose your daughter or lose your ticket money. They will not even just change our iternary or give us another destination we suggested without penalties which are almost 3/4 of our initial ticket price. They just made away with our money. You cannot say, 'We are cancelling tickets for American citizens' but make no exception for parents of infant citizens. This is the height of criminality. So, me and my family couldn't take the flight and lost $1500. We had to buy another ticket by airfloat to get to Georgia. But Turkish airlines refused to even contact us on the refund for my daughter. A truly criminal enterprise."
Nadelen: "They had a vague refund policy for Americans, forgetting that American infants can also have none-American parents who are as much victims in this as the American infant. For them to be myopic and keep repeating talking points of their refund policy is unfortunate to say the least."

Another problem is the lack of internet for passengers without Turkish cell accounts. This should be corrected. Finally, lack of water fountains in the airport is also a problem."

Voordelen: "Food and entertainment were good. Crew was pleasant and attentive. Flying in business class with them is always nice. There was a lof of leg room and nice seats that go almost fully reclining."
Nadelen: "Where to start from? Got off the plane from the flight from Barcelona to Istanbul, to connect to New York and first thing this woman insists that me and my friend should go to exit and baggage claim instead of international transfers. My friend had to get a visa at check out and all the trouble of trying to get back into the gate simply because of a STUPID AIRPORT STAFF who doesn't know what they are doing. I have had trouble before with airport staff who doesn't know what they are doing or give wrong directions. That is why will avoid flying with them to Europe."
Voordelen: "Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the quality of the food was rather impressive for a plane flight. I liked the number of selections that were available per the movies and media based entertainment on the flights."
Nadelen: "A few of the stewards and stewardesses had a bad attitude; as if they had brought on board some format of negativity. I understand the flights can be long, but there's no need for bad behavior towards customers."

Nadelen: "The boarding area at the airport was overly crowded and hectic. It was really difficult to move around with two kids and a few bags."
Voordelen: "Turkish Airlines has some of the best amenities of any airline: great meals (and often), clean planes, plus two free checked bags for flights between Middle East and USA."
Nadelen: "The plane was overbooked with MANY seats having been doubly assigned. After more than half an hour we were given a new seat assignment (in first class! Business class had already been filled with other double bookings!). They did their best to accommodate everyone though and the remainder of the flight was very pleasant."

On top of it, one female officer was rude. Typical french :("

Nadelen: "The boarding process was horrible and it involved climbing down steep stairs from the air tunnel to the tarmac to board a bus that took us to a far distance where the plane was parked. Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."

J’ai été d’autant plus énervée que je savais par avance que la machine ne pourrait pas me délivrer ma carter d’embarquement, car j’ai un visa qui bloque toujours l’enregistrement en ligne et aux machines. L’employé du comptoir n’a rien voulu entendre et m’a fait perdre mon temps."

Nadelen: "About everything else. The boarding process was chaotic, slow, and lacked any sort of communication. No one was queuing properly and the airline staff failed to address this or even announce we were boarding! Had to bus there and this was slow and tedious. Had the same problem with queuing once at the plane. Flight was delayed and this was not mentioned or apologized for at all. The seats were jammed in and uncomfortable. The bathrooms were disgusting and not checked by staff. Landing was barely announced. Just an awful airline all around. Won’t book with them again if I can help it!"

Nadelen: "The flight delayed for more than an hour and have. They combined two flights and 2 destinations together. It went chaotic . People were confused about their seats. Many seats were assigned to 2 peoples... Yelling and loud on plane. Many missed their connection. Passengers were not happy at all"
Nadelen: "The flight was delayed for 5 hours and the plane was older then me, it was so crappy. The food was the worst, everything is cold and tasteless, worst airplane ever. In conclusion it was the worst flight i ever token."
Voordelen: "The loading from the back of the plane was brilliant! The timeliness of the flight was nice! Staff was friendly and polite. They were very efficient & effective!"
Nadelen: "The food options were given as couscous or veggies but their was no specification as to containing met or what kind. Any entertainment whatsoever would be better for longer flights. The seats could be in beter repair and cleaner."

Voordelen: "Bonjour Le vol est retardé une fois pour 16h45. En arrivant à l'aéroport je me suis rendu compte que le vol est encore retardé pour 20h35 pour enfin un dernier horaire 23h. Cela est fait sans aucune informations claires et sans prise en charge de tout les passagers. Cdt"
Nadelen: "Meme l'enregistrement pour le vol de 23h etait médiocre. !!! Aucun personnel de la compagnie est sur place pour réaliser cette tâche! L'affichage du comptoir d'enregistrement était faux. On nous a fait balader !"

Nadelen: "Devoir ressortir de la salle d'embarquement afin d'être inscrit a été très désagréable, car j'étais déjà au bon endroit, mais je suis arrivée tôt ce qui semble avoir été la raison de devoir ressortir de la salle. Ça été très long avant de pouvoir avoir accès à l'application de divertissement, rien ne fonctionnait. Lorsque cela a été fonctionnel mes écouteurs jouaient très faible et grichait énormément."

Nadelen: "There was a 3 hour delay. The plane was disgustingly dirty, old , seats were abused and torn, gum stuck in seat pockets, A/C system releasing white air that looked Like white gas...for a full price ticket I would le expect a normal plane not a warn down machine..."

The worst experience thru out my life.. 22 hrs in the airport and still counting!! When, where, how, who will make up for all this?"

Voordelen: "The crew members came by after the meal with water"
Nadelen: "2 hour delay with no forewarning or any kind."
Nadelen: "The flight was late, again, although this time by only an hour and 20 minutes. Food was all meat-based so not suitable for vegetarians. A family's young toddler threw up on the flight and the crew merely passed him some napkins but didn't even help clean or disinfect, so the entire flight smelled like vomit. As usual, another terrible experience with TunisAir."
Voordelen: "Our flight was at 17;00 and when we check in our luggage’s it’s shows a delay on the screen till 18:55 which we understood but they change it again to 17:30 without any announcement or information and we used to miss our flight, fortunately my kid shows on the screen the changing and we could board"
