Waited in line to check-in untl 7:23 AM Because of long lines at check-in (Russia Day, apparently) and inadequate staffing for the large numbers, I succeeded in getting through passport control and security ten minutes before flight time, only to be told "no Flight" I had to buy another ticket for the next day at a second fare, all because of Aeroflot' s inadequate staffing. Aeroflot service desk only told me to " go back into the city" where I found an Aeroflot office. After meeting three staff members in succession there, they made no effort to make good on their error. I will avoid AEROFLOT on all future travel. Brussels and Amsterdam airports were so much better set up to handle the crowds"

Nadelen: "1. Notified with robo-call about cancelled flight on Saturday. "Your flight cancelled, we're sorry, bye-bye"; 2. NYC office closed till Monday, phones are not working, so, you're not gonna get any help from those guys; 3. Most of JFK phone numbers listed at aeroflot.ru are not working, there was answering machine working on one and I left a message, still waiting for call back (it's Monday now); 4. Had to call Moscow office, after 56 minutes waiting on the phone I was re-scheduled to Wednesday."
Nadelen: "On my flight from Moscow to St. Petersburg I experienced a poor service at Sheremetyevo. The company is changing the gates. Which creates the problem. I had a pass with a gate #15 and was waiting in Moscow for the boarding. They changed it to the gate#2. They call my name but the pronunciation was completely wrong. At one point, I became worried and asked for help. AT this point I realized that I had to run to the gate #2 which was a mile away from my gate. To make a long story short - when I reached the gate#2 it was closed already and the company forced me to buy a new ticket to St.Petersbur for $100. I was not alone who was late to the gate.There were several people complaining about the same problem."

Nadelen: "I bought the flight via OneTravel.com and never got it ticketed, when I arrived they wanted to charge me double the price, and it took so long that we didn't had time to catch the flight, we had to buy a new ticket from another airline, it was really a SCAM, they said ticket was booked but not ticketed, how can that be my fault?"
Nadelen: "The plane smelled very bad, the on board tvs did not work, and the served pancakes were to hard to cut."

Voordelen: "It was comfortable and easy. The airport is small and you have to take a bus to the airplane itself. There were virtually no hassles, and the staff was friendly."
Nadelen: "If you do not know any Russian, it will be difficult. The staff on this flight spoke very little English. Think about it, I was in Siberia. That would be like expecting the flight attendant to speak Russian in Oklahoma. Try learning Russian words for drinks and snacks, that would be a good starting point."

It would have been better to have a complete information up front. But the airplane and crew were excellent."

Nadelen: "Economy seats were more cramped than other international economy flights I have been on. My knees were against the seat in front of me the entire 9-hour flight. There were supposed to be 2 options for meal, but by the time I was served there was only one remaining. The meal itself was passing."

Nadelen: "We had to buy 2 new tickets with Lufthansa in may because finnair cancelled the tickets we bought months ago : the difference of tickets pride was 780$ per tickets to totally we lost over 1,500$ This is not fair at all - they should not propose tickets at such prices and let us think for months our trip is fine because we have to buy last minute new tickets at very expensive prices"

Voordelen: "Flight was delayed, and I ended up staying in hotel and spending the while next day traveling. It was very unfortunate, I lost 24 hours. But the hotel was nice."
Voordelen: "They gave us a warm cloth to wash our hands and face at the beginning of the flight. There was a bottle of water there too. We were constantly offered various drinks, especially water. The staff was extremely friendly and each of the flight attendants spoke about 4 languages."
Nadelen: "The entertainment system wasn't the best I've seen as of late. It's not a big deal, but it would be nice if they updated it!"
Voordelen: "The Finnair representatives at the airport were incredibly nice and helpful."
Nadelen: "I never made it on the flight because I booked through airfare.com which gives no warning or notices that passports need to be valid for three months after a flight to France. I ended up spending hours on the phone with them constantly being yelled at by their customer service reps."
Voordelen: "World best airline since my last flight to Hong Kong. New aircraft with the most confortable and complete flight experience I had in years in economy class. Seat confort, movie selection and quality of the screen, food quality, boarding speed, cabine pressure, all was immaculate."
Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."
Voordelen: "Very simple but reliable and confortable flight. We got clear instructions to get to the next terminal"
Nadelen: "We took off late and arrived even later so we had to run to get to the next plane"

Nadelen: "Was not allowed to bring standard-sized suitcase as carryon: it does not fit in the overhead. This means I had to check it to final destination which I do not like to do."

Nadelen: "Not that I didn't like, only some comments: Flight was 40 min late at arrival due to delayed start from JFK, the plane had to wait on runway before take-off. Not a problem for me as HEL was my final destination."

Voordelen: "I liked most of service except seats space with economy . it was impressive to see Scandinavians and Korean flight attendants cooperate each other . Both of them were gentle ,kind and nice !"
Nadelen: "The e ticket info didn't accord with the real ticket info such as gates so if you don't check out the bulletin board properly , you may wait in wrong gates but not that crucial. It's always about the airport problem with crowded passengers or in size not aeroplane. Everything is about time control . ICN is quite large in scale so I couldn't use duty free shop due to so many passengers and the spacious hallways even though I had 2hours . perhaps you gotta presume it as 3hours for enough time . so I had to throw out my lotion or moisturizer at ICN .pfff I wasted my money :p"
Voordelen: "The Iberia plane had a new interior, and possibly was a new plane. The new thinner padding on plane seats was not a problem at all. The crew was friendly and let me switch to a different seat that had an empty one beside it so I could stretch out more. A great flight."
Nadelen: "I liked everything. They exceeded my expectations."
Voordelen: "The flight was very late taking off meaning I had to literally run across the airport at Krakow to make my connecting flight to London Heathrow which was over an hour late arriving at Heathrow Airport."
Nadelen: "My screen was not working"
Voordelen: "Entertainment system during the long flight from Warsaw to Tokyo."
Nadelen: "Take off from Tel Aviv was 4-5 hours late. This caused us to miss a planned half day trip to Warsaw."

Nadelen: "Male agent at boarding rude. Aircraft dark and dingy. WiFi not working. Many lights not working. Majority of TV screens not working and “misfiring”, flashing throughout the whole flight gave me headache and hurt my eyes."

Nadelen: "Lines for checking in and for boarding were very disorganized and people were butting in front of people who were there longer. The plane seating was too close to each other. More room is needed."
Voordelen: "They gave decent food and some decent movies and ok songs to listen too."
Nadelen: "Not enough good movies to watch. Perhaps put on some Spanish movies and music along with more variety Polish and Russian movies and music. I was stuck in middle of two old people that kept farting a lot."
Voordelen: "I DIDNT TAKE A FLIGHT TO LONDON DONT KNOW WHAT YOURE TALKING ABOUT"
Nadelen: "They kept changing departure time from Warsaw to Lviv , and totally we were stocked at airport for 4 hours. Lot didn't provide any drink or food, and also they didn't give us any information about our flight, they just ignored us. We were very frustrated, our kids were hungry and thirsty but nobody from LOT company didn't care about it. They even didn't say "sorry " . I will not recommend this airline to my friends or to somebody else, just be careful with this airline."

Nadelen: "Aucun divertissement en français dans l’avion qui était pourtant neuf et dernier crie. Les films en japonais, bref à revoir."

Voordelen: "The airplane is 737 dream liner Bombardier and is well ventilated and operated smoothly. Looks very new. Flight staff are excellent."
Nadelen: "The layout of the airport is not conducive to walking around before boarding. Could not use the airport lounge as a result."

Nadelen: "I paid for an exit row and got a regular seat without refund. I will have to fight for that apparently. The plane was very old, dirty, in bad repair. The seat did not decline, the screen of the monitor was cracked, the bathrooms were disaster zones, there was literary nothing on the entertainment program. The passengers were nice though!"
Voordelen: "Staff was apologetic and enthusiastic. When we were finally able to board we did so quickly and efficiently."
Nadelen: "Delay for nearly 2 hours without information, even when inquiry at the counter."
Voordelen: "Absolutely nothing"
Nadelen: "At check in the website did not allow me to purchase checked baggage. I arrived at the airport and paid 80 Euros to check in my 12kilo bag. I bought I would be proactive and pay for the baggage for my return(only 20 euros). I received only a receipt for the 20 euros, but paid 63,250 drams. Something is shady and I feel duped. The flight was over an hour late with no explanation. There was a plane at the gate when we landed, which added to the tardiness of arrival. They were so non Chalant about so many people missing their connecting flights. It was like they already knew they were going to put us on Lufthansa 2 hours later... polish airlines Is awful- the airport personnel even worse. No one respects standing in line. Airport officials kept cutting into the security lines which literally cost me the 5 minutes that I could have made the flight. I am very diasspointed and kayak should not advertise this airline."

Voordelen: "Easy check in, accommodations for a seat preference, kind crew service on board, good food, free entertainment-good selection of movies and music, at no extra charge. on time going to WAW, and 30 min. early coming back to EWR. Flight coming back was cancelled due to technical difficulties, but no problems with rescheduling, LOT rep. was very helpful. No forced charges for checked-in and carry-on bags-BIG differentiator ! used 787 Dreamliner."

Nadelen: "Not much space between seats, so cramped! Lot of people moving around and talking loud while trying to sleep"
Nadelen: "When boarding the crew wasn't inviting they were acting like they did not care at all about the people no smile no hi whatsoever. When I addressed one crew member he was not only occupied watching something in his phone but responded plain rudely to me. Its quite obvious that on the airplane the crew is working. Ukrainian airlines was offering the same trip cheaper but I decided to take LOT. Also I was surprised that I had to pay my luggage in my fly back. Next time I'll try Ukrainian airlines"

Nadelen: "The airport wasn't ready to except foreigners. The personal at customs hardly could communicate in English, always switching to Polish. The custom officer forgot return transfer ticket. So, I had in no time to ask at the check point tofi s my name in the list and give me another tickets. It was very stressful."
Nadelen: "NYC to Warsaw, the flight was 4 hours late no voucher for food. some got it some not. i lost the flight from Warsaw to Bucharest they put me on flight from Warsaw to Vienna that flight was late as well i got to Vienna and i ran to get the flight to Bucharest. i was very tired"
Nadelen: "Flight was late again!"
Voordelen: "Friendly professional crew. Clean aircraft. Very good ticket price."
Nadelen: "Hard to check in online from hotel in Munich. Hard and confusing where and how to check in at Munich airport and very time consuming. Having to pay $20 per bag but not at the check in counter but at another counter and then at the gate counter being call up to get checked that we did pay the $20 for the bags. Made me feel 3rd class."
Voordelen: "Older aircraft had not as narrow seating and was more comfortable."
Nadelen: "Boarding que at Warsaw is a mess."
Voordelen: "Lot of leg room in the emergency exit row. Though they don't let you have bags there."
Nadelen: "No entertainment! Though it was only a two hour flight."
