If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Voordelen: "Seatback entertaininment options were amazing. Food wasn't always designed for the American palette, but most of it was pretty good, and they put a good effort into it, unlike US carriers. Flight attendants were great. Boarding was organized and smooth."
Nadelen: "It's just hard to make a 14 hour flight in economy comfortable. Another inch or two of space would have helped, but I understand the tradeoffs involved in that. Baggage collection at IAH took about 30 minutes, but that may have been the airport's fault and not the airline's."

Voordelen: "My flight from Budapest took off hour later then scheduled. We landed in Munich only ten minutes before the international flight's take off to San Francisco. Upon the Munich landing, eight of us were escorted on a special bus, with a special pass controll and on special routs to make sure we get on the plane on time. Our laggage managed to get on the same plane as well. Thank you Lufthansa!"

Nadelen: "Munich airport should be improved far more. it took more than 20 mins to find a toilette. they should install more toilette for the travellers."

Voordelen: "Real silverware and glasses for dinner and the best blanket on any flight I've ever taken."

Nadelen: "This is a brand new airplane. The size of these seats has hit a new low. To expect an adult to spend 8 hours crammed into this thing is barbaric. It's been a week and my back still right. Enough already."

Really!! a tv screen on the back of the seat that has videos etc. I almost threw up from the constant pounding of the man hitting the screen on the back of my seat. I felt violated and exhausted from the airline inconsiderate design."

Nadelen: "Boarding is always a nightmare. First class, and the high flyers are called first. Then premium economy, then economy. A mad rush of people scramble down 2 flights of stairs, then are crammed on a tandem bus that drives out to the plane. You then cross the Tarmac in all types of weather to board. This flight boarded from front and back. Making finding your seat a nightmare as people were traveling in both directions in the aisles. You would think you were in a third world country."

Nadelen: "The seat I was in (37 H) was awful, if felt much more cramped than the flight to Macedonia. I felt like I was crammed into a sardine can. The boarding process in Vienna was a joke; the economy seats were all boarded at once; in effect a mass of humanity all rushing toward the gate."

The following baggages having the bagage tags: LH 093506 and LH 093492 did not arrive at final destination Montreal YUL! Please investigate ASAP and get back to us! I've spent upon arriving at home two hours on the phone and customer service representatives from YUL were totally not helpful in solving the problem!"

Nadelen: "I was switched seats against my will on board! Although i reserved the seat ahead of time when i got in i was pretty much forced to sit somewhere else. The staff handled the sitution in a very poor manner!"

Nadelen: "We are regularly taking this flight for end of the year snd in summer. For no reasons whatever if it is in France or in Vienna, the flight is delayed of minimum 2 hours! It was the case once more the case. And all without communication as it is normal! And it looks like this is normal as the flight from yesterday was also leaving at 19h05. This is a joke."

Voordelen: "From start to finish, Sevdije was in great hands. She had to be in a wheelchair, and there were three connecting flights in countries where she doesn't speak the language. It could have been so complicated, and everyone made it SO EASY. She was all smiles when she arrived in Boston. THANK YOU!!!!!!"

Nadelen: "L’aéroport de Vienne qui ne dispose d’aucune aide pour les transferts : il faut trouver les panneaux bien cachés dans un labyrinthe... et 2 contrôles des bagages durant le transfert alors que nous arrivions d’un vol international."

Nadelen: "Well, it was all messed up by kayak and priceline. I clearly stated in your search engine I want flight with checked baggage, for which you gave me results. What a unpleasant surprise at check-in to find out it was super expensive airticket with only 8 kg of carry on! You are confusing people on purpose, I cant believe your service! And I was loyal customer for years and years. Well, time for change."

Nadelen: "Lufthansa’s/Austrian Airlines’s idea of a ‘snack’ is a pathetic little bag of sugar and chemicals that no one should have to be offered, even if it comes for free. Hugely disappointed. Flight attendants not attentive enough."

Voordelen: "On future flights to Europe, I always will choose Austrian Air. Very courteous service. Thanks!"

Nadelen: "We ended up needing to check a bag. It cost 40 Euros which seemed high. We were sent to another line to pay then back to check in. Then our flight was 45 minutes delayed leaving. Fortunately the pilot got us in to Zurich only 20 Mon late. Just typical "never know what's gonna happen"."

Nadelen: "Dusseldorf to Warsaw: Boarding terrible including assistance and messaging. - Boarding chaos - Late flight out of Dusseldorf (about an hour) - Just before landing, pilot announced all connections would be made - (and even mentioned chicago) - Connecting flight was gone when I arrived at gate, and I was quick in getting to gate from prior flight - next flight caused 5 hour layover in Warsaw Warsaw to Chicago Boarding terrible including assistance and messaging. - Boarding chaos - Late flight our ot Warsaw (about an hour) - no messaging at gate about reason for delay - kept increasing departure by 5 minute increments; started at 16:40 ended 17:05 (I beleive) - once boarding was complete, pilot said delay was due to wait for connections (boarding was an hour and 15 minutes late). Very frustrated"

Nadelen: "The seat was very uncomfortable in comparison with other long haul flight seats, must be some ergonomic issue, I arrived more worn than usually when flying this route. The food was very low quality and wine or beer was only served for payment unlike on other airlines."

Voordelen: "Easy boarding, attentive staff and overall enjoyable flight."

Nadelen: "Terrible old plane, with tv that don't work and are from 50s. Food was really really bad"

Voordelen: "Without any note all passengers were required to pay for their baggage, same price either it was 10 or 20 kg. Nobody send any information before about this extra payment!"
Nadelen: "The airport wasn't ready to except foreigners. The personal at customs hardly could communicate in English, always switching to Polish. The custom officer forgot return transfer ticket. So, I had in no time to ask at the check point tofi s my name in the list and give me another tickets. It was very stressful."

Voordelen: "Excellent flight attentive crew. Luggage handling super fast. Crew gave out some free extras to make up for the delay."
Nadelen: "Weather related delay not airline dependent"

Nadelen: "changed 2 times the departure time and I lost my train to Rapallo, having to sleep in Genova. Had to buy other ticket to Milan and loose this ticket I had bought.,..."

Voordelen: "Snacks were okay."
Nadelen: "Purchased my luggage fee online and for some reason they don’t have it on their computer. Had to pay a higher price at the counter and come to find out my account still got charged for the luggage fee."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Hour delay getting on the plane, after going through boarding. No explanation as to why."

Voordelen: "Flight was smooth"

Nadelen: "Delayed takeoff. That happens but very poor communication about the delay."

Nadelen: "As so often with Alitalia the flight was delayed by 1 hr 20 mins"

Voordelen: "Even though the plan was full, the boarding process was quick."
Nadelen: "Extremely old plain. The worst entertainment center i’ve ever seen: it was just ok for the 80’s. The crew seems to not knowing how to smile."

Voordelen: "Buongiorno praticamente è successo che avevo il volo da Fiumicino a Olbia e quando sto facendo il check in il sistema di alitare era bloccato quindi mi hanno fatto manuale la carta di imbarco e poi quando sono entrato trovo il volo che è andato via senza e i personi e mi hanno lasciato nell'aeroport"
Nadelen: "Devono fare tutta alitalia e tutti i sistemi loro da capo perché non funziona per niente"

Voordelen: "nice crew on the Rome to US leg"
Nadelen: "Airline food is usually bad but this was inedible. Tiniest seats ever. Outdated entertainment selection. Obscene baggage fees. Never ever again- not worth the ‘deal’"

Voordelen: "Very new and clean plane."
Nadelen: "Nothing it was all good."

Voordelen: "On time and complimentary drink"

Nadelen: "The plane was delayed 1 hour waiting for a crew member to show up. This caused me to miss my flight to the US at DeGaulle"

Voordelen: "All was well but missed my bag and one opened"
Nadelen: "Missed my baggage and one was opened and wrapping removed"

Nadelen: "the business class wasnt really so good to my expectation."

Nadelen: "We were traveling with my 94-year-old grandfather who needed wheelchair assistance. And it took the 4th person I asked to get any assistance. The very first Alitalia person I tried to speak to was the very worst. Though her job was to check people in, she said she couldn't help me and to go to another counter. When I asked if she could please at least make a call to get a wheelchair (my grandfather was at the airport entry and couldn't walk) she made a terrible face, threw the papers on her desk around and said I had to go to another counter. When I went to the counter she pointed at, I was told again I would have to go to another counter. No offense to dog owners, but the animals that were traveling received better assistance."

Voordelen: "Cheap fares and direct flight"
Nadelen: "Entertainment very poor. Would recommend a kruger selection of movies and preferably to be available to watch once we are on the plane waiting for take off. Economy class space limited ."

Voordelen: "The flight itself was pleasant."
Nadelen: "The trip was apparently booked as a flight to Madrid with a one-night stopover in Milan and yet the ticketing staff told me that I would not be able to check my bag to Milan since it would go directly to Madrid. I found this to be very odd since I booked a multi-city flight through Kayak. I was also unable to use TSA pre-check with Alitalia, which was inconvenient."

Voordelen: "The staff was kind and helpful. The business class was good and the updrafts was really worth it"
Nadelen: "Entertainment was poor ."

Voordelen: "All good.."

Nadelen: "les changements d’horaires successifs, l’attente en salle d’embarquement ,le repas Cacher que j’avais réservé qui n’a pas pu m’être servi ."

Nadelen: "Vol retardé de 35 minutes, le son des messages de l’esuipe Casse les oreilles et on ne comprend rien."

Nadelen: "Changement de porte d’embarquement au dernier moment"

Voordelen: "Crew was pleasant there were many seats vacant"
Nadelen: "Flight boarding starte 25 minuets late"

Nadelen: "Retard de 45’ sans information et sans excuses. Inacceptable"

Voordelen: "The flight itself from NYC was great, the connection flight was great."
Nadelen: "The worst boarding process I ever seen! The airport people and crew didn’t tell people what’s going on, there was a uhh delay. Big lines of people just standing and waiting. The flight took off 45 min late!!"

Voordelen: "As expected. Crew was excellent."

Nadelen: "Initial flight from London to Rome left late, so missed connecting flight to Johannesburg. Although we were put up in a hotel and got a flight next day, missed another connecting flight, which was with another flight company and had to pay again to get another flight. No apology from the airline for the inconvenience this caused. The travel to South Africa was for an emergency and ended up getting there two days later."

Voordelen: "The flight attendants were very nice. Great service."
Nadelen: "They left us inside the plane for more than 30 minutes waiting to depart. Then when we were close to FRA they tell us they cannot areive because of the weather and got more delayed. When we finally get to FRA, there’s no machinery to get us out of the plane because it was broken. We had to wait for them to find some stairs and then take a shuttle while raining to the airport inside."

Voordelen: "Nothings"

Nadelen: "Alitalia and SkyTeam still can't figure out how to check luggage through on separately ticketed flights, even if both flights are the same airline."

Nadelen: "Retard. Absence d’information sur le retard. Pas de sourire."

Voordelen: "Being able to chose my seats for free with the Millemiglia programme. The legroom was not bad."
Nadelen: "No hot drinks or food available to purchase inflight. The toilets were dirty and smelly."

Nadelen: "L'équipement dans l'avion inopérant"

Voordelen: "La rapidité d'embarquement"

Voordelen: "Nothing about check-in and boarding."
Nadelen: "Check-in was a zoo. The agents were more interested in gossiping and were constantly on the phone or running in and out of their stations. It took nearly an hour to get through the 10 people ahead of us. And then we were told that my 1 bag would cost $53 to check-in and that I would have to go to another counter in a far away part of the airport to pay...and we had 20 minutes before boarding. Afger running to the cashier, we were told that she had no time and that we should go back to the agent to pay! We ran back and paid, then went to look for our gate. It was finally listed as Gate 12. We got though security ok and got into the line for Gate 12. It was more like a scrum tan a line. Nobod seemed to be doing anything when all at once we saw people boarding. We went to the gate but were told that our flight was boarding at Gate 10!!! WTF??? Gate 12 listed our flight number and Gate 10 listed another flight, but we did as were told and boarded via Gate 10. None of other passengers knew what the hell was going on but we all made it to Rome along with our baggage. We will NEVER fly Alitalia again."

Nadelen: "Got canceled and we were stuck in Rome. Had to spend $3k to get back to United States. Thank you Air Berlin for nothing"

Voordelen: "Boarding was on time for all my flights."
Nadelen: "KLM switched online check in to Alitalia literally right at checking time. It was extremely unnerving, and required much more time, as I did not have an Alitalia account."

Nadelen: "Lost our luggage from Rome to Malta. Now, 13 hours after arrival in Malta, no one can tell us where our luggage is!!"

Nadelen: "food"

Nadelen: "Although reservations for our return flight from Rome to Boston were made 5 months ago, we were bumped from our flight, not advised in advance, and missed several important work engagements. The management at the Alitalia desk at the airport was not up to the task of reassigning everyone. Understaffed and under equipped (staff was unable to get online to reschedule and re-issue new boarding passes) We are senior travelers (75 and 80 years old) and were forced to stand in lines for 3 hours We're headed to the airport now, the next day, and I am dreading the experience."

Nadelen: "See above. This scam is not acceptable. You should be ashamed. I demand my money back for paying twice for baggage, including the airport fee. I will be going to the media re this scam and seeing if I can start a class action."

Nadelen: "Entertainment options are very limited Check in is slow and the counters are not always open like in Delta. Food quality is very low"

Voordelen: "Almost nothing"
Nadelen: "- Rude crew - Uncomfortable seats - Broken seats - Missed our order for Vegan meals"

Nadelen: "The flight was operated by Alitalia, so my bad review is about it: 1- they made us pay 75 euro for 4 extra kg on the luggage; 2- once on board we had to wait 45 minutes before leaving the airport; 3- there was no entertainment on the plane which looked like a very old plane; 4- they served us a tasteless sandwich and muffin(MEA flight serves a full meal) 5- the choice of drinks was poor: water, Coca cola, tea or coffee, no juices or alcohol; 6- we asked for water 3 times and the flight attendant never came back; Being an expensive flight I was expecting something more than a low coast flight company. VERY DISAPPOINTED."

Voordelen: "Plane in good condition with more than average roominess in economy class with accommodating crew, decent food, and entertainment."
Nadelen: "In Italy Alitalia was difficult to contact and failed to provide timely and complete information about changes to check in procedures, e-ticket number, and flight identification number changes. Web site clunky at best and telephone tree info all in Italian only. When I tried to check in on line only message was of a "problem" with the ticket. No way to get info even at airport until shortly before flight. Flight departed one hour late. My wife's foot room impeded by electronic control box under seat in front of her. In short, back office and online services poor but flight and plane ok. None the less, will not use Alitalia again due to back office problems."

Voordelen: "Entertainment choices, boarding efficiency, helpful staff"
Nadelen: "Delayed departure - then even more delayed arrival - stuck on tarmac. First row of extra leg seats are extra narrow to account for entertainment system."
