Nadelen: "The ONLY thing I hate about Turkish Airlines is the necessity to go through security in Istanbul when you're in transit on an international flight. Not only do you have to go through security again - with the serious chance of missing a connection - but if it's a flight to the USA, there is serious additional security at the gate. Surely this is enough."

I had to cut short my trip to Istanbul due to a family issue- they couldn’t do enough to facilitate a flight home at short notice at a minimum cost and most importantly expedited my return with the minimum of hassle- thank you Turkish!"

Nadelen: "Every flight is late boarding and taking off, connections are too close together and the set up of Istanbul's airport is nonsense. If you don't miss your connection it's because you ran and the flight took off late. Boarding is rushed because they started late"

Nadelen: "These comments probably reflect the Tbilisi ground service crew rather than the airline, but I cannot be certain. We left the departure gate 30 minutes later than scheduled, after arriving at 0445 am. then we loaded a bus full of people packed together, the bus went 50 meters and stopped. We then sat there, with no air conditioning, no information, for 45 additional minutes. It was extremely uncomfortable. Finally drove another 50 meters to the airplane, and waited some more before finally boarding. Once on board there was another delay of some 20 minutes before we could taxi. All of this meant we arrived quite late in Istanbul and missed all connections."

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "I was traveling with a group and wasn't able to be seated with my group for any of my flights including a 12 hour transatlantic flight. For whatever reason, I couldn't actually check in for my flight and select seats prior to arriving at the airport. This happened with each ticket I purchased through every other agency except for orbitz.com. Not sure if that was a Turkish Airlines issue or a kayak.com issue, but it was very frustrating. When we arrived at the airport, we could no longer be seated together because everyone else had already checked in online and selected their seats for an overbooked flight. One of my group members was issued a standby ticket and almost didn't get on one of the flights that we paid a lot of money for. I would call this travel experience subpar, but I don't entirely blame Turkish Airlines for this."

Voordelen: "The best landing of a commercial aircraft I have ever experienced in my 74 years and in half a century of flying across the globe, took place in arriving at the Madrid airport with this Aegean Airlines flight. I had to ask the airline hostesses the names of the pilot, and they were two pilots flying"

Nadelen: "Check-in in Munich took way too long. The lines were confusing and the agent opened another lane and took about 30 people who were behind us in line ahead of us."

Nadelen: "Ii was not allowed for me to board because the Agean staff is not coached properly do understand what the documents needed to pass Russian border. My arguments that I do not need any visa was not even listened. They were too lazy even to call to Moscow to specify the rules. 6 hours later they bought for me ticket for Aeroflot to SVO with Aegean cash with their excuses, but I lost my plans including two meetings in Moscow anyway."

Je pense que le terminal 1 B ´aide pas à ça mais un peu plus de personnel pour diriger les passagers ne serait pas mail. Pendant le vol le repas était sympa e bon. ."

Voordelen: "I liked the service once on board. I liked that they had a separate ‘co bus’ to assist those passengers that had a connecting flight to get there quicker. There was candies offered as soon as we boarded them drinks and a Greek breakfast. The flight attendants were efficient."
Nadelen: "The flight was 1 hour and 30 minutes late! There was confusion as to which gate to go to for the flight once it was called. They did not call passengers by sections so everyone just crowded the gate waiting to board. It was a bit chaotic and overwhelming for staff and passengers. There was no entertainment and there was no legroom and I am 5’7” so I was quite uncomfortable."

So now I’m in London, missing a dinner because I don’t have dress acceptable clothes, can’t go out and buy any because it’s too late on a Sunday. I am also going to miss my plans which were the only reason we came to London. as I do not have acceptable clothing to go out in tonight. So it was a waste of paying the flight to London, and our Airbnb in London."

Voordelen: "Aegean delivered excellent service during my flight to Amsterdam from Athens! They actually served a complimentary meal and wine during my 3.5 hour flight. The flight attendants were so nice."

Nadelen: "As something that seems to happen pretty much constantly with Aegean... the plane arrived late and was delayed... which also in turn caused me to miss my scheduled bus to Jerusalem... but... what can you do... not everything is in our control unfortunately... I hope one day that the airline will organise itself and get things running a bit more smoothly.... Also... there was a meal on the flight but not option was given to those who are vegetarians to request a special meal at time of booking or later on while managing the booking... this was a bit unfair in my mind that my only option was a pasta and meat sauce meal so I did not get to eat... also... within my Star Alliance menber account I am listed as a vegetarian meal... so it should have been automatic just as it is on Swiss, Lufthansa, Etc... when I fly with them."

Nadelen: "1st, neither seat that I selected when checking in were given to me. 2nd both aircraft took off late for no apparent reason. 3rd When waiting to board in Warsaw, I was almost bitten by a large pit pull that a passenger was bringing into the cabin as a comfort animal. When I and several other passengers question the desk at the gate about the bringing a large vicious dog into the plane, we were told they were to busy to deal with us even though they were just standing there doing nothing. I have never seen such rudeness towards passengers as I did at that gate. I will take a ship across the Atlantic before I go through Warclaw again."

Nadelen: "On my flight there my built in tablet didn’t work so I didn’t have any entertainment for a long flight. My return flight was put on standby and I had to leave the next day instead. Stressful"

Nadelen: "Departing flight left 2.5 hours late. Missed my connection. No one from LOT met us at the connecting airport to explain how our transfers would work. Airport security at the connecting airport bounced us back and forth a few times before deciding we should enter the transfer terminal and hope someone from LOT was still on duty. LOT put us up in a hotel overnight and booked us on a flighty the next day. The hotel was 1 hour drive, 50miles, from airport. I reached my final destination 13 hours late."

Nadelen: "Then the flight from warsaw to JFK was fine, but when we landed there was only 10 minutes for me to get to my next flight and i asked the attendant if she could call my gate ahead and tell them I'm trying to make it, and she grunted and told me to sit back down. Then i proceeded to go to baggage claim where my bag never showed up and when I finally saw that it wasn't showing up I sprinted to my next flight and got to the door 15 seconds after it closed. Nadelen: "I didn't like that I got no food I asked for a water bottle never got it! I was hungry the entire flight I was only lucky to be close to the bathroom"

Voordelen: "The flight left from Toronto late. I missed my flight in Warsaw. Had to stay there for a day. Was late for a meeting."
Nadelen: "The flight was delayed. I came to Minsk 1 day late."

Nadelen: "After spending almost $1,400 on my ticket to Poland, the last thing I would expect for such a long trip would be a broken seat that didn't recline. Being 6'7"in height and having the seat in front of me reclined I had to sit crouched for over 9hrs.When I informed the stewardess, not much concern was given and the alternative offered was worse because it was a middle seat with less space knowing that there were available seats in premium class. No effort was made to accommodate me knowing that the trip was long and sitting with my legs crouched could cause a health issue. A working seat is not a luxury, it's basic equipment that you expect to be functional not broken."
