Overbooked flight. My wife and I got split up. I have a replaced disk in my neck (kids behind me constantly kickin my seat) made for a painful and unpleasant flight. (Staff did nothing to prevent this)

When we went online there were almost no more seats available so we decided to go to the check in counter in the airport. Unfortunately the luggages didn't reach to Cairo airport with me . 3 days later they told me that the luggages in Jordan and I have to travel from Alexandria city to Cairo to receive my luggages . When I went their , I found my luggages were opened and missing much items . I made reports on the airport. The employees in the airport they wondered why the opened the selling box , and the box looks empty. The weight for this box was 32 kilograms in the time of shipping. And I paid $400 for extra weight . But when I received it was like 20 kilograms. Plus I paid $350 for Qater airline for shipping 3 luggage . That's means I paid $750 for shipping 3 luggages and I received it looks empty . I need refund for all shipping and $5000 for damages items , or I will complain this airlines through the American court . Thank you"

The Layoever in ISTANBUL WAS TOO SHORT. We did not have enough time to cross the entire airport, back through security check and then cross again. It is not reasonable and not right for the airline to sell tickets with unreasonable layover times or to have a representative fast track the process.

If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

We were crowded into a space that wouldn’t have accommodated a group half our size. Then we were criwded onto busses to stand and wait about 20 minutes while others cleared the five security screenings."

Few people on the plane - Was great! The plane was late to board and over an hour late to arrive. They said it was airport control. How can these things not be booked it advance? Very frustrating!

Voordelen: "On the 15th. Nov during my flight to India, I have made an online check in though did not receive an e ticket. I arrived the airport 70 min before the flight. The crew on the check in counter refused to issue me a ticket and insisted that I have missed my plane abd I need to purchase a new ticket. They even refused to check if I have made an online chick in. The gulf air online system, did not show me that I have made an online checkin. Unfortunately, the problem was solved by asking someone who work in the airport ( not gulf airlines representative) to check if I have made and online check in and to issue me a ticket to pass through the security control"

Voordelen: "I' not sure which flight this relates to. I've taken economy and business class and clearly the business class is better but economy is fine. The crew were good in both classes and whilst the food in business was better I didn't have a problem in economy either."
Nadelen: "Check in was fine and very friendly but boarding could be better particularly in business. At Heathrow it was a bit chaotic as all classes seemed to be mixed up so it was difficult for priority passengers such as disabled to get through everyone crowded up to the desks and the same applied for business class as well. The IFE wasn't too bad but it could be better. Bahrain airport is a mess and the boarding gates seem to be more like corridors with seats in them so it's difficult again when they call for business class passengers as unless you are already at the front you have to try to work your way through. I believe the airport is being rebuilt. If so then things will probably improve. I'm not sure why there needs to be 2 security checks within a few yards of each other when transiting between flights. they don't have this problem in Doha."

Nadelen: "Le racket de cette compagnie commence dès l'enregistrement. Nous étions en famille avec deux enfants. Premier bonheur de devoir payer 63 euros de plus pour éviter d'être disséminés aux 4 coins de l'avion, le système par défaut ayant fait cela !!! Deuxième bonheur l'avion est en fait quasi vide.."

Nadelen: "- Very noisy and old airplane - Since it's old, the legroom in economy was poor and the business class was looking like it was built in the 80s. It was really cramped even in the business class - If you bring your own headphones, make sure they're noise cancelling since it's noisy on the plane - And if you bring your own headphones, you need those old 2 pin style connectors as well. The ones that Ethiad give you are super low quality. - Screen resolution on those screens is really bad, you can view every pixel on the screen and brightness doesn't go all the way up either."
Voordelen: "Not much - perhaps that we had booked the last row and only had two seats together"
Nadelen: "The seats were minuscule...the depth was narrower than when Id previously used different airlines. The space between rows was also compromised. I think that the Dreamliner is even more streamlined with less space so they can put more passengers on! The toilet kept flushing when seated on it! The food was repetitive - ordered Asian Veg and got almost the same food for 3 meals. The dessert was exactly the same 1 piece of melon and 2 cubes pineapple. The male crew member did not want to be there. He grunted at the passengers. He was annoyed and when clearing food trays dropped it and aI wore custard all over me and the armrest of my seat. Fortunately I had a blanket covering me so it all landed on that. He was more upset that it also splattered him."

Voordelen: "Good sized seats and new aircraft, AUD airport is very pleasant and customer friendly. The vegetarian snack sandwiches are very delicious. I wish if they could offer them in every meal and to toddler passengers."
Nadelen: "I buzzed the light for service 3 times and not once did the attendant come and check on my needs. Our attendant was not customer friendly- infact I don’t recall her smiling once throughout the 13 hour journey. Overheard her being stern and rude with other passengers. I specifically asked the crew to deliver my stroller in AUD for transit since we were flying the next day and they didn’t fulfill our request. Luckily AUD airport has strollers so we used one and took it to our hotel. The fact that Etihad doesn’t provide hotel accommodation for 14 hour transits is beyond ridiculous. Really disappointed in this lack of arrangement for long haul flights."
Voordelen: "Despite being nearly full it was comfortable. A fair choice on entertainment. Pleasent professional crew."
Nadelen: "There was a disagreement about my hand luggage. At check in it was agreed I coukd take it on board even though it was 8.9 kilos. Just before security they said no. After going back and forwards it was agreed. No fault of the airline there were several infant children close to my seat. At times it was annoying"
Voordelen: "Travelled in Airbus 380 for the firstvtime and I was impressed by size of the plane and comfort in economy class. Enough of leg space to bend my leg and avoid bad blood circulation. Overall comfortable flight."
Nadelen: "Again I found behaviour of few Crew Members a bit rute for instance i asked hor headphone from one of the attendant and she immediately told me that it cannot be missing as she put the headphone there by herself making me feel like as if i stole the headphones. I was bit speechless though i really wanted to reply to her but it would have been rude. Second thing I did not like about flight was foir serving. In our over 7 hour flight, we were just served breakfast in the morning just 2 hours before landing. Its not healthy to keep customers hungry what if the customer is diabetic. Airline need to understand that up in the sky we are dependent on them for our basic needs and it should be respected."
Nadelen: "It’s an old flight with improper seats and seating arrangements ..flight has dull ambience.the food menu most of items were same as of my losangles abudhabi flight .."

Voordelen: "The movies were okay."
Nadelen: "The fellow traveller next to me was a large man who unfortunately spilled over onto me, either his legs pushed mine away or his arms covered mine underneath his. Then as it was a night flight, he fell asleep and snored in my ear - I didn't get any sleep at all. All in all it wasn't a nice experience."
Voordelen: "Plenty of spare seating. Cabin staff and crew very helpful."
Nadelen: "Entertainment was dreadful more than 50pc not working. Flight tracker not working. Back of end rear cabin seats some were loose. Dreading return legs of trip."
Voordelen: "They didn't let me n my sister fly. Plus they took 3 hours to give our bags back."
Nadelen: "The attitude of the airline n everyone was poor. No help nothing from anyone."

Nadelen: "If anything it would be the terminal 1 lounge at Abu Dhabi airport. It is pretty poor compared to the other lounge."
Voordelen: "Had the front seats with legroom on a 380, significantly quieter there than in Business on a 777 Was out of Heathrow within 40 mins of landing, usually a lot longer!"
Nadelen: "Food was minimalistic, bkfst and then a chicken sandwich on a 7 hour flight..."
Nadelen: "Service was a bit average. Attendants bumping into you... no apologies"

Voordelen: "Same good entertainment. Flight left and landed on time. Breakfast was enjoyable but they had ran out of options so I didn’t get a choice, but still enjoyed what I got (banana bread)"
Nadelen: "I don’t recall there being an announcement to say that the flight was boarding, only the screen in the waiting area saying so."
Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Maybe if me and my son was Muslim we would have been treated with dignity and respect but will not and wasn't"
Voordelen: "The Airbus A321 flight was much more comfortable than the 1st leg. The service again was good"
Nadelen: "There wasn't anything not to like."
Voordelen: "As I said, the crew and facility were pretty good. But the bad things really ruined the trip and pissed me off."
Nadelen: "First of all, I tried to purchase the on-plane WiFi. That didn't happen, as I was told there was an error in purchasing and I didn't end up getting any connection. Yet when I got off the plane, I realized that I was nevertheless charged for $12. This was definitely annoying, and they still haven't gotten back to me. Secondly, which is very frustrating and infuriating, was the fact that not only was my checked luggage delayed, they did not call me or reply to my emails with any useful information on my luggage's situation. To this date, I have no idea where it is, if it's lost or damaged, or when can they deliver it to me. I had all my clothes, my DSLR camera and gifts in my luggage, and I had to buy a bunch of stuff in the next few days because I didn't have those things. It has been more than a week, and they still haven't gotten back to me on anything. For this reason alone, I think they totally deserve a poor overall rating, especially because I chose them in the first place because I trusted their good ratings."
Nadelen: "Flight delay with no reason for two hours which made me cancel another flight and wait for another five hours in transit and pay a huge amount of money to reschedule flight. Medicore plane on a long flight of seven hours from abu dhabi to kuala lampur. Cabin crew not helping. Bad toilets."

Nadelen: "We have cancelled the trip on some personal problems online on kiwi.com, called twice also but till date no action is taken. Neither we got refund nor tickets got cancelled, eventhough we have cancelled tickets 3 days prior to start of our trip"
Voordelen: "Great all round experience - good flight, nice plane, comfortable and well equiped with lovely staff."
Nadelen: "Nothing!"
Voordelen: "Great service, good economy food also, lots of wine. The entertainment package was really good"

Nadelen: "After I had run from one end of the airport to the other to go through customs and catch my connecting flight and boarded with 15 minutes to spare, I was pulled off by one of your officials and was not given a reason as to why. The flight attendants were talking about sweeping any areas of the plane that I had been in. It was when we had almost reached customs that I was informed that another passenger who was stuck in Customs had mentioned my name and that is why I was pulled off. So, I was treated like a criminal and questioned and threatened by the customs official who went and searched my belongings to see if I'm lying about what I brought with me. They then tried to get me to fly with the other passenger just because we knew each other, even though I clearly and repeatedly told them I am not traveling with that person. I suppose this isn't all Etihad's fault, but if you are pulling passengers off of your plane, don't ignore their questions and treat them like criminals. Also, when I got back on, the filght attendants were unsympathetic about my situation and smiled it off. It ruined my whole flying experience. Also, the buttons to adjust A/C and call flight attendants was really high up and hard to reach for a petite woman."
Voordelen: "Food"
Nadelen: "On the dreamliner flights they have tried to cram a ton of seats in so if your over 5'8 you'll be very cramped with your knees under the seats and a strange headrest jammed I to your shoulder. I fly about 20 or 30k miles a year in economy and this is easily the most uncomfortably designed seat I've been in. More over the staff was incredibly dismissive and rude to all I witnessed then keep a older woman waiting for 45 mins for water and then dismiss her when she asked a second time. The check in staff was no better."
Voordelen: "Meals are served promptly and on a regular basis. Selection of entertainment is good but needs updating."
Nadelen: "Boarding was a chaos at the Abu Dhabi airport, they were just calling out for the Business Class and passengers who are disabled and those who are travelling with children to board first when everybody came to line up. Nobody from the ground staff even asked them to give way for those who are boarding first or announced what zone are they boarding next. Also, i used the mobile app to check in, i am definitely sure i chose an isle seat (you can see it on the seat map during online check in) but i was surprised to see that i got a window seat."
Voordelen: "Having two seated aisle was fantastic for me and my partner because it meant we didn't feel like we were disturbing anyone if we wanted to get up and go to the bathroom and have a stretch. The chairs and leg room was okay, much better than our previous flight. You are fed lots of food so you never go hungry and the entertainment was good. Having USB ports to charge your phone or other devices is fantastic."

Voordelen: "Après une heure dans l'avion sans climatisation malgré un personnel de bord irréprochable (distribution de boissons) on nous annonce le débarquement, diriger et abandonne dans un terminal malgré un repas offert, pas d'information après renseignement auprès d'un accompagnant de tour operator j'apprend qu'il faut se rendre à la même porte où nous embarqueront avec 4 heures de retard. Un grand merci au personnel de cabine mais le responsable au sol .... Mais en plus de 10 vol Ave Etihad c'est ma seul mauvaise expérience et de plus j'ai payer 200fr pour changer de vol et arriver 4 h 30 plus tôt résultat gagné 30 minutes oups"
Nadelen: "Le personnel de cabine souriant et avenant"
Voordelen: "The plane was fantastic, although my experience is slightly more skewed towards a positive one given the flight was fairly empty and we were free to choose alternative seating after takeoff. The plane itself was fairly comfortable, a noticeable step up from budget lines, and the staff were an absolute dream. Very very friendly, never seemed put out and frequently checking on passengers. The difference of inflight entertainment technology was certainly VERY noticeable & I actually preferred it. Better, clearer, bigger screens. It just changes the experience for the passenger if we can be happily distracted."
Nadelen: "Really only the food. There was one meal which I didn't eat after tasting - it was just tasteless and not worth eating. A scone sandwich would have been more preferable. I still believe the standard of inflight food could be raised a notch or too, even if it was looking at a company like Pret A Manger and offering some nice sandwiches, fruit and soup, that would be more desirable and satisfying."
