Nadelen: "I missed boarding by one minute and was told there was nothing they could do. Our connecting flight landed on the other side of the airport and after literally running through DFW, we were told our flight home had already boarded, we arrived at 6:21, flight left at 6:30. American Airlines screwed us again. Just paid $300 for a rental vehicle so I could make it home."

Nadelen: "My seat did not recline properly and had to sit upright throughout the flight, so was less comfortable."

Nadelen: "I downloaded the app and followed the directions to watch a movie but when I got on board I host the connection and not get back in . It would not allow me to download anything"

Voordelen: "One flight attendant who was on a plane not scheduled for this flight (much smaller plane than scheduled) so lots of people left behind. Don't know her name but she had the best personality and really took care of a lot of people not happy being late of stuffed into a very small plane."
Nadelen: "Delays happen but DCA is a pretty big hub not to have a big enough plane to get passengers on board who are already delays. You had to pay $700 vouchers to a whole bunch of folks so whatever profit was possible went to vouchers instead."

Nadelen: "The leg room was abysmal, Southwest has more leg room and they brand themselves as a cheaper carrier than a American. Also the wifi was either very slow or did not work."

Same duration flight fromLAX to MIA, same plane, but we received a nice pillow and blanket, as well as a little travel kit and bottle of water. Seems strange there are different standards for the same duration"

Nadelen: "Airlines have an industry wide problem. They INTENTIONALLY make every part of flying miserable so that passengers will pay anything to make it less painful. For example... if you want to make boarding quicker, build the cost of checked luggage into ticket prices so that you don't have people carrying everything on and clogging up the process. Or use the existing and publicly available research to improve boarding mechanisms... but that would mean you lose an opportunity to squeeze extra cash out of people for 'priority boarding'. This phenomenon is real, and currently be investigated by congress. Call your senator."

Voordelen: "I loved our flight from Anchorage alaska to Los Angeles California. Flight attendants were kind and helpful. We had plenty of leg room and it was great flight. Loved our window seat."
Nadelen: "I didn't like that the flight attendants snarky attitudes when we would ask for son."

Voordelen: "Staff were friendly and seats were comfortable."
Nadelen: "My TV wasn't working and it was the same for a couple of others. They managed to get the others moved stright away but they kept telling me they would reboot it and sometimes it was slow starting up. They rebooted twice and after 2hours 30mins into the 8 hour flight they accepted that it wasn't going to work and they finally asked another passenger would they swap with us. They said that all TV were checked on the ground between flights but this was obviously not the case."

Nadelen: "Delay, first told it was weather related, then mechanical. Re booked on a flight by AA that would never make connection. Paid over $1,000 for a flight leg that one way and direct on another airline (Alaska air) was $281.00 and the agent took so long to find redirect flight that they couldn't book. Total mess! While struck on the second leg and speaking with AA customer service about the reschedule I was told that they didn't have the ability to rectify the error because they no longer had control of my ticket and that I had to take into consideration that three was an event in San Antonio that caused delays network wide that added tio the initial issue... HOGWASH! 1) it was another AA issue where an AA aircraft drive of the runway while I was in flight on the first errant leg. 2) if they had just been straight from the outset, I wouldn't have been delayed. I will never fly AA AGAIN!"

Nadelen: "I can't rate it because they canceled my entire itinerary without so much as an email. I did not take my flight to Wilmington via my original flight. I had to book another flight because the change fees were too expensive. I did not know that my return flight to Denver had been canceled until I was checking in a few hours before my flight. I was told my ticket had no value. Awesome! It really stings that I then had to book a new return flight, and because I am a teacher who makes about $23,000 a year, I had to book the cheapest flight, which was with American. I do not plan on giving them any of my hard-earned money in the future if I can help it."

Nadelen: "We purchased seats and they changed them without telling us so we picked new ones. Well guess what, we get to the airport and the same thing. I was seated at the front of the plane and my fiancé was at the back. Luckily a nice gentleman switched seats with me and we were able to sit together but it was the last seats that did not recline on an 8 hour flight. We will never fly American again. Their customer service offered no help and was extremely rude to us."

Voordelen: "1. Repas de bonne qualité et offrant plusieurs à côtés (salade, pain, brownies, etc.) 2. Films disponibles à bord par le biais de l'écran de divertissement inclus au siège."
Nadelen: "1. Non disponibilité du Wi-Fi à bord de l'avion 2. Avion remplie à pleine capacité et ayant accepté des voyageurs avec plus de deux (2) bagages à main à bord 3. Aucun surclassement offert durant le vol tandis que la famille à côté de moi était malade 4. Ils ont perdus mon bagage à main alors que l'agence de bord m'avait promis de ne pas le perdre lorsque je lui ai demandé. Ils m'ont retiré mon bagage à main puisque ma petite valise que je transportais n'entrait pas sous le siège. L'agence de bord est parti avec mon bagage contentant tous mes médicaments, ma couverture et une partie de mes vêtements et c'est la dernière fois que j'ai vu ma valise. Lorsque je suis arrivé à Bruxelles, mon bagage à main qui fut placé en soute n'était pas à destination et j'ai pleuré toutes les larmes de ma vie."

Nadelen: "Première expérience avec air canada rouge pour l’europe... plus jamais! Les espaces/sièges sont petits, inconfortables. Les gens sont tellement inconfortables qu’ils se promènent (marchent) dans l’avion...Pour un vol de quelques heures cela va mais pas pour un vol de 10 heures ..."

Voordelen: "Vol Bucarest-Montreal. L'equipage mega gentil. On est arrivé avec 30min plus tot que prevu"
Nadelen: "Le confort - 9h dans un siege en survolant l'Ocean (tu vois rien) et aucun ecran pour te dire ou t'es, aucun aucun ecran pour divertissment, tu peux louer une tablette à 10$ pour avoir les films et un peu de divertissment. Mais il y aurait aucun probleme si le prix du vol etait à 50% que le vol Lufthansa avec le confort necessaire. Comme j ai dit c'est un low cost à prix normal et je ne trouve pas normal."

Voordelen: "L'embarquement s'est fait de manière rapide et efficace, il n'y a pas eu de délai. Le personnel était très agréable et j'ai particulièrement aimé le fait que les agents de bord était québécois. Après 5 mois en France, je me sentais déjà à la maison juste en attendant leur accent à l'embarquement."

Nadelen: "Écran non fonctionnel a l’allée et au retour... pour un vol de plus de 2000 CAD ce n'est pas acceptable."

Nadelen: "Le vol Fort Lauderdale-Montréal a été retardé de 1:30h pour un entretien. Sur le vol de départ, le service de divertissement n'a pas fonctionné pendant une longue période. Il faut payer pour manger mais nous avions été avisés par la compagnie."

Nadelen: "Vol plein depuis longtemps et ils trouvent le moyen de manquer de bouffe! Oui Rouge c'est "cheap" mais y'a des limites. Après avoir servi la moitié des passagers il ne leur restait plus de repas chaud."

Voordelen: "Personnel très accueillant et acommodant +++ ce qui fait toute la différence lors d'un long vol avec un enfant de 2 ans."
Nadelen: "Problématique avec les écrans donc ils ne fonctionnaient pas pour la dernière moitié du vol."

Voordelen: "Autant j'apprécie quand les agents de bord tente de dire quelques mots en français même s'ils ne sont pas totalement bilingue, un essai est toujours mieux qu'un refus. J'ai vu un client qui parlait en français et l'agente dans ce cas ci s'efforçait de lui répondre et parlé en français. Il s'agissait d'un vol de Québec à Montréal, il ne s'agissait pas d'un vol St-John's à Halifax. Autrement le service est bien et les agentes sont gentilles. Air Canada doit mieux faire à ce niveau."

Nadelen: "l'espace entre les rangées est trop restreint Pas assez sévère sur les bagages en cabine 2 et 3 bagages Moi je dois payer pour mon bagage et les gens qui remettent leurs valises a l’entrée n'ont pas a payer"

Voordelen: "Les films sur le système de divertissement"
Nadelen: "Le confort Aucun repas offert L'expérience client est nettement en deça de la moyenne du marché"

Nadelen: "Il n'y avait aucun divertissement. Aucun repas n'a été servi non plus malgré un vol de plus de 5h30. Cela a pris 2 heures avant qu'on nous offre quelque chose à boire. La moitié du personnel était bête et désagréable. Une des pires compagnies avec laquelle j'ai voyagé."

Voordelen: "Le repas était très bon et chaud! En classe économique , nous avions assez d'espace pour nos jambes."
Nadelen: "Malheureusement , j'ai eu un siège qui ne permettait aucun divertissement, pas d'écran en fonction et pas de lumière pour éclairer mes lectures. J'ai avisé 2 agents de bord pour savoir s'il serait possible de faire un ajustement du système puis je n'ai jamais eu de retour de leur part ...J'aurais aimé avoir une réponse à ma demande !"

Nadelen: "Sur un vol de presque 5h il faudrait peut être une collation gratuite et un meilleur éventail de repas"

Nadelen: "On voyageait avec un bébé et nous n'avons pas eu droit à un embarquement prioritaire. Nous avions le nombre de bagages de cabine prescrit, mais on voulait nous en faire enregistrer pour manque de place dans l'avion. Serieux! Un bébé de 7 mois pour un vol de 13h tu veux qu'il aille tout ce qu'il faut pour ne pas pleurer! Malgré le prix payé pour le bébé il ny avait même pas de repas compris. Le service était difficile, les repas pas bons. J'ai des allergies et je n'ai pas pu rien manger, car leur système n'avait pas pu les enregistrer. Encore une fois pour un vol de 13h c'est inacceptable. Je ne recommande pas Air Canada. Prenez ANA ou Japan Airlines si vous allez au Japon."

Voordelen: "En général c'était très bien. Super! Rapport qualité prix! Même la bouffe était très correct."

Nadelen: "Je suis outré de payer un supplément pour les bagages lorsque la compagnie offre de gérer les bagages de cabines gratuitement lors de l'embarquement. Noter que les bagages de cabines sont de plus en plus gros et qu'il se rapproche énormément des valises que l'on met en soute et auquel il faut payer... C'est vraiment enrageant et j'ai l'impression de me faire avoir."

Nadelen: "La prise pour les écouteurs ne fonctionnait pas, donc je n'ai pas pu utiliser les divertissements!"

Voordelen: "Compagnie et personnels tres serieux et a l'ecoute. Excellent"

Nadelen: "L'application Air Canada qui n'a pas les niuveautés pour les films. C'est de l'arnaque car on veut nous vendre l'utilisation d'un Ipad."

Nadelen: "Missed our flight from Brussels to Zurich. United said we were booked on next flight six hours later. Gave us vouchers and that was it. Went to check in and the carrier said sorry you can’t board United did not book you. The voucher just has prior info and this flight time. So we missed getting on that flight 3 total hours on the phone with United and they did nothing but put us on hold. Thank you to Brussels air who finally after many years and frustration helped us so we could leave. More than 10 hours later than we should have. Horrible experience and we lost a day of vacation and pre paid plans for the evening I will never use kayak again for international flights. As that was part of the problem per United (probably BS but won’t ever risk it again) and will never use United airlines again as their customer service and lack of caring showed that companies true colors. I hope the rest of this dream vacation is better than this nightmare was."

Nadelen: "Despite plenty of empty seats, the ground personnel would not consider changing our seat assignment at the gate to allow us to sit together."

Nadelen: "I never received my luggage. I waited hours and Swissport never filed a report. I did see the Brussels flight I should have gone on did depart late. But as I was waiting for luggage and they gave me a hotel room I hadn’t checked the screen. I was most concerned of the person travelling to pick me up in Bordeaux as it is a journey for them as well"

Voordelen: "Loved the hindu vegetarian food. Incredibly tasty and I didn't expect it. No delays. All went smoothly."

Voordelen: "Great crew and flight attendants, kept us informed of everything, very helpful and prompt on all questions and requests. Movie selection was impressive. Boarding was efficient and flight even left early. Surprisingly pleasant experience in economy for a long flight."

Voordelen: "My flight attendants on my flight were wonderful and so was the boarding crew at San Fran's airport to Las Vegas were awesome as well. The space I had on my connecting flight to vegas was awesome and the feature it had to charge devices were a nice too."
Nadelen: "The crew at the front desks and at the boarding area for my flight from Anchorage, AK, to the San Fran airport however, were extremely rude. The rating for the crew is a 2 because although my flight attendants were awesome, but the service given to me and to my fellow flyers by the Customer Service Agents/Reps at the front desk and the training of a newbie at the gate, when boarding at the Anchorage, Alaska, airport was terrible. They were extremely unprofessional and did not seem to care that the tones of their voices, their facial expressions, as well as their body language, showed that they lacked the manners and knowledge of compassion, respect and courtesy. Their rotten attitudes were insufficient at making the customers/guests of the airlines feel comfortable before flying. I did not appreciate being spoken to the way some of the reps did."

Nadelen: "One extremely tiny bathroom for the whole plain for a 4.5 hours flight. The bathroom line snaked through the plane the entire flight No complementary water or any sort of drink Seats were very uncomfortable I fly a lot and this flight was the worst by far"

Voordelen: "1. We booked seats together then when I checked in they had moved my seat and we were no longer sitting together. And then I couldnt get the window seat I had paI'd for :( 2. No boarding announcement and the "gate" was under construction so was a madhouse to board. 3. The crew member put her sweater in my food and pushed the coffee so hard to the person next to me it spilled all over him. To be fair she did apologize for throwing coffee on him. 4. The TV screens were so old you had to push the "touch" screen so your headrest kept moving if the person behind you couldn't decided what to watch... and then hard to watch anything yourself. The food was nasty."
Nadelen: "See above. I didn't like anything, this might have been the worst flight I've ever had to Brussels. I thought I booked a European carrier, but ugh it was actually United. They only care about business class and first class."

Voordelen: "I ended up missing my connecting flight because the flight left the airport almost an hr late....once i get to my connecting flight...ive missed it...soooo i had yo wait 4hrs for the next available flight & missed my doctors visit......im sooo pissed....."

Nadelen: "we have been sitting in the cabin for over an hour while they have feuled the plain as they forgot to complete it"

Nadelen: "Only negative was that the seat was cramped, not much room."

Nadelen: "Lost my luggage and made us late"

Nadelen: "EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT"

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "They canceled my flight, lost my luggage made me miss events in my life on my vacation and only comped me 20$ food ticket which is nothing in an airport. And I was stuck in an unfamiliar airport for 10 hours waiting for a new flight through another airline. Oh and dod I mention the bag they lost for a whole day was 50lbs of fresh Alaskan seafood and yes it all was thawed.... I will never fly United airlines again."
