Eventually I found a desk at a different location that would take my bag. Boarding was chaotic, no lines, just a crowd blocking access. Even passengers with small children couldn't get through. Space between seats was minimal. Crew was ordering passengers to take headphones off during security demo. I understand it is important to be attentive, but ultimately you shouldn't be forced to."

Nadelen: "I was charged $55.00 to book early and choose seats. I agreed because I wanted to be sure to sit with my husband and have a view. Iberia changed my seats without my knowledge, and denied charging me extra. I have papers to prove my claim and will dispute the charges with my credit card company. Directions to our connecting flight in the airport by Iberia staff was confusing and they were extremely rude. We asked 3 different times! We were in danger of missing our connecting flight. Iberia is the worst airlines I have ever experienced, and I will never purchase a flight on Iberia again! Lesson learned!"

Nadelen: "I wish there was a bigger selection of movies and tv-shows to watch."

Voordelen: "I had a problem finding ticket number for a return ticket. It took an hour at boarding but Iberia rep. found it and saved the day. She really cared and got the job done. Can't say enough about this Argentine rep. Also this was an international flight and they did Not hassle us about the weight of our carry on. Last year Etihad weighed our purses with a bathroom scale at the door of the aircraft. Outrageous. Slowed boarding for over an hour and cost passengers an average of $150 - $320."
Nadelen: "Food was terrible all around. Didn't pass out water during 11 hour flight and all the "good" movies didn't load."

Nadelen: "The fact that all the passengers boarding in "group 3" were forced to check in their carry-on bags if they did not fit under the seat; and retrieve those at the baggage claim area (not right after exiting the airplane) In my case I was able to store my carryon under the seat in front of me after pleading to the crew and gate members to let me try because of my connecting flights. There is no complimentary food service, even water is charged."

Nadelen: "The air conditioning was not working correctly, they opened the door during boarding to allow for some relief. ??? It was just uncomfortable. Another thing which is terribly annoying is the touch screen entertainment on the back of the seat. Who in their right mind invented this? What happens when you have a inconsiderate person playing games behind you tapping your seat back like they are playing the xylophone? Ridiculous! People have lost their ability to be respectful, so please get rid of this and put the controls someplace else. This goes for all airlines. Thanks."

Nadelen: "My only complaint is that the seats were very tight in the economy class. We were packed like cattle. I know these were the "cheap" seats but for almost $1500 I would hope for a bit more comfort."

Voordelen: "My family (four of us) flew FinnAir (Iberia) to Madrid and back and found the service outstanding. The flight crews were top notch, the takeoff and landings were smooth and even, as were both flights, the food was fine, the entertainment was great, and the seats were roomy and comfortable. Overall, a superior experience to any U.S. airline I have ever flown. I would fly them again any time. Five stars."
Nadelen: "On the return flight from Madrid, we ended up having to board the plane from the tarmac, which was interesting. I can remember decades ago when that was done, but it was a first for us. We checked our luggage, so it was no problem for us, but some passengers had to lug big carry-on suitcases up those staircases. I'm not sure what passengers with disabilities had to do to board. I don't think it was the airline's fault, but it was a little out-of-the ordinary."

Nadelen: "Iberia should do something about its check-in process, it seems way below the industry standards. 1. Online check is only worth if you don't have any luggage. If you do, there's no point of doing that, because there's one line for both check-in and luggage drop off. 2. If you arrive to the airport 1h45min before the flight (LOCAL flight!!!), you'll be among the last ones to check-in, because you will spend about an hour in the line (there's just two people at the register: one for economy and one for business). In the end everyone in the line will get checked in (thanks for that), but the flight will be delayed and Iberia will blame the security (which takes 5 min to pass, unlike the check-in process."

Nadelen: "I was charged 120 dollars for my luggage and I bought the ticket with the impression that it was included. The lady at the airport told me that I should have paid at the check in but it was nothing there to inform or indicate anything about it. And I have to pay another $120 to go back. I'm never buying from kayak or air eurpa again."

Nadelen: "When I booked my flight I was never asked if I wanted to include a piece of luggage so I assumed it was covered, and then I got charged $120 for it at the check-in desk. No apologies whatsoever from the lady, who was pretty rude. I will never fly with them again since the service is not great and this charge made the overall cost of the trip more expensive than traveling with a better airline."

Nadelen: "Left late; 40 minutes. The Airbus A340 business class seats from JFK to MAD have a serious design flaw. Three people had their cell phones or iPads slip down the side of the seats, requiring the seats to be disassembled in flight, and getting down on the floor to reach in and get it....if you have small enough hands. Boeing aircraft are far better quality. Noisy aircraft, again, not Boeing quality."

The only negatives are: the Madrid airport food was HORRIBLE; WOULD LIKE MORE ROOM in between the following row."

Coordination at airport was also not the best after landing at JFK, because we spend almost 50 minutes in airplane waiting for docking."

Even after being checked in they didn't release the gate location until 30 min before takeoff. Surprisingly the flight was still on time and baggage made it."

Voordelen: "10pm red-eye flight from JFK to Madrid was cancelled, passengers were made to wait extra hours before having this be confirmed. Then we were told to return to the airport the next day for a 2pm rescheduled flight only to find no Air Europa workers even there, and that we'd be put on the 10pm flight for that night, combined with people already on that one. Virtually no compensation nor apology with the exception of ONE worker who joined the air europa staff that afternoon during the re-check in process. Once finally on the aircraft, we left an hour late, as well. Upon arrival in Madrid, spent a long time searching for the way to get compensation back for my taxi rides, and was given options to do online, call, etc., so the process is still ongoing. I will think twice before flying with them again!"

Nadelen: "Apparently congestion at Barcelona was the reason. The gate crew are clueless and not helpful. I was struggling to understand what was going on. Kayak was showing delayed flight and neither crew or veuling website was getting updated.."

Voordelen: "Straightforward flight. I feel like I would fly with vueling again but from a different airport."
Nadelen: "It was delayed by 30/40 minutes and the price was quite expensive (but that was probably my fault)"

Nadelen: "Plus de 4 heures de retard, avec des mails de Kayak depuis 7 heures du matin jusqu’au soir qui annonçait des retards sur le vol( une trentaine de mails en tout). Avec chaque fois un temps d’attente Different ( 3h/2h/20min...). Puis enfin avec quatre heures de retard en commence l’embarquement et il s’arre En plein milieu pour on ne sait quelle raison ( personne ne nous dit quoique ce soit) et on ne t’off Même pas à boire ni rien à bord. Bref vraiment dégoûtée"

Nadelen: "Vueling staff avoiding the issue of wanting to talk about why they sold more seats than are on the plane — telling me that it was my fault and that I should have checked in online earlier. This, despite technical problems with their online checkin system not allowing me to do so."

Nadelen: "arrived at airport to find flight cancelled - I needed to get to exhibition that day - and, after long queue, discovered we had alternative flight late that night. Today I hear my saturday late flight has been re-scheduled for tomorrow - with no intervening email saying the saturday re-scheduled flight was re-scheduled itself....if you get me. On a good note, it looks like I'm going to get a full refund. If they had arranged for me and my son to get there by another means - business class?, another airline?? - then I'd be impressed"

Voordelen: "The whole thing from start to finish was excellent"
Nadelen: "Nothing"

Nadelen: "Barely any covid measures. Brussels airlines uses staggered disembarking. Row per row. Ryanair still does the usual “every man for himself”."

Voordelen: "Vriendelijk personeel"
Nadelen: "Wisselen van gate net voor instappen. Kleine chaos. En lang buiten moeten staan wachten omdat vliegtuig nog niet geland wad. Je betasld voir priority en dan is meer dan 40 minuten buiten in kou te STAAN geen service"

Voordelen: "Boarding was efficient as was disembarking, crew were good"

Nadelen: "Doordat iedereen in een soort ‘corridor’ terecht komt, na het boarden is er nauwelijks meer priority-gevoel ;-)"

Nadelen: "Bewust stoelen ver van elkaar geven als je niet bij betaalt. Na we vroegen of er mogelijkheid was om toch bij elkaar te zitten bij check in, kregen we antwoord van niet. Eenmaal id vlucht bleek 1/3e Vd vlucht leeg. Passagiers zijn dan zelf gewoon gaan schuiven met hun stoelen om toch per 2 te zitten"

Nadelen: "Good"

Nadelen: "The problem with random seat allocation is if you pay to sit somewhere then that should be fine, no. Today I was constantly asked if I wouldn’t mind swapping seats so the passenger could be closer to their partner which is always going to be an inferior seat or worse sat in the middle seat. Their random seat allocation therefore can inconvenience seat paying passengers not a quality experience."

Voordelen: "Zitplaats was oké"
Nadelen: "Lang wachten, onvriendelijk"

Voordelen: "De prijs, maar zelfs die was nog hoog voor wat ik er voor terug kreeg."
Nadelen: "Chagerijnig personeel, heel kortaf en onduidelijk! In de vlucht had ik weinig ruimte en alles was helemaal volgepropt met tassen."

Voordelen: "Vond weinig echt leuk. Personeel was aardig."
Nadelen: "Kon niet betalen met ABN kaart"

Voordelen: "Excellent pilots did their job very well, despite bad weather."

Nadelen: "Heenvlucht zat er bagage bij terugvlucht niet...vast en zeker hele kleine lettertjes niet gelezen..Dus ergens mijn fout, maar wist niet dat je voor beide reizen moest boeken als je tegelijk een retour boekt. Dus misschien beter aangeven!!! Want 60 euro weer extra bijbetalen is geen fijne terugkomst!"

Voordelen: "Easy boarding, plane looked clean, crew all smart and genuine smiles. The bonus is we arrived early and their were no Benidorm p..s artists on board. Excellent."
Nadelen: "Only that we were late leaving, this didn’t matter in the end because we arrived early. I only gave one star for Food & Entertainment as the option to give no stars is not available. I’m sure the food would have been fine,however, I didn’t have food and brought a book for my own entertainment although I don’t believe any entertainment other than your own is available. I would suggest that Kayak offer a not applicable option on their star rating grid."

Voordelen: "Flights ran to time"
Nadelen: "Some passengers were taking phone calls when the safety demonstration was being done."

Voordelen: "For the price, you just can't beat Ryanair. The only thing that spoilt the flight were 3 drunk passengers opposite and behind who were noisy and kept annoying other passengers, however the cabin crew handled the problem very well."

Voordelen: "Off ons time no extras got here quick all I want"
Nadelen: "Was perfect"

Voordelen: "On time"
Nadelen: "Filthy seats and pull down trays and chaos boarding as people being asked to change seats"

Nadelen: "wederom vertraging"

Nadelen: "2 x geboekt met ryanair en 2 maal met veel vertraging"

Nadelen: "Die low cost is geen low cost meer als je een stoel moet betalen, priority moet betalen of je koffer vliegt in de ruimte onder vliegtuig en als je maar 10kg gratis mag meenemen voor 3 weken is dat pauver. Dus de volgende keer gewone lijn vlucht even duur meer confort."

Nadelen: "Door stakingen zaten we meer dan 5h vast aan de luchthaven. Niemand wist van iets, het was chaos. Een duidelijke communicatie had leuk geweest, niet alleen voor ons maar ook voor het personeel van Ryanair zelf"

Voordelen: "crew very good"
Nadelen: "2 hour delay and no information, even changed boarding gate and did not inform passengers who was already waiting."

Nadelen: "De bagage normen"

Voordelen: "Eigenlijk niets speciaals was leuk."
Nadelen: "Dat we een uur vertraging hadden voor we vertrokken, en er voor, tijdens en na de vlucht niets over gezegd is. Pas na landen bleek door op te zoeken op internet dat het aan de Franse Verkeersleiders lag. WAAROM VERTELLEN ZE DAT NIET!"

Nadelen: "Veel onduidelijk bij het afgeven van de bagage! Bleek dan dat ik maar alleen voor de heen vlucht de bagage betaald had en moest opnieuw naar de balie en nogmaals 50 euro betalen voor de koffer. Dus in totaal 100 euro voor het transport van 1 koffer van 17 kg en dat vind ik overdreven! Bovendien vond het personeel onvriendelijk hij de incheck!"

Nadelen: "Sat on the plane for 1:30 due to delays and missing our departure slot then to be informed that there was no water ,drinks or any food on the plane due to “supply issues”. Then the conveyor system to broke down at East Midlands and all the cases had to be moved into the collection area by had by 2 security staff All in all 3 hours later for the booked taxi and didn’t arrive home till 4am ! Never had such a bad experience with Ryanair and East Midlands airport"

Nadelen: "iets meer dan een uur vertraging, waardoor ik meer eten en drinken moet kopen voor mn vrouw en ik. het verblijf op een luchthaven is erg duur zoals u wel weet. daarna was de snelweg naar Tilburg ook erg druk omdat we te laat waren zaten we in de avondspits!! tevens waren alle vloeistoffen ingenomen, omdat het niet duidelijk was aangegeven dat de kleine koffers als cabinebagage werd beschouwd en wel in het ruim gingen, ook deze kosten hebben we moeten maken. erg slecht"

Voordelen: "Nothing really, it's a cheap ticket and that's it."
Nadelen: "Ridiculous boarding situation, expensive onboard food and beverage. Upright seats. Advanced check in always seats your group apart to encourage you to purchase seats. Budget airline that trust to milk their clients for every penny. Only use them if no other option."

Voordelen: "Landing at Liverpool to get off the plane"
Nadelen: "A 3 hour delay. Unruly passengers."

Nadelen: "Een uur vertraging en tergend kang wachten in een rij"

Voordelen: "Het boarden verliep vlot en georganiseerd in Malpensa!! Hierin slagen velen helemaal niet. Vroegtijdig geland!"

Voordelen: "Snel en veilig"
Nadelen: "Alles ok"

Nadelen: "De vlucht was een uur te laat waardoor ik mijn aansluiting heb gemist en uiteindelijk 3 uur te laat op mijn bestemming aankom! Ik ga een klacht indienen bij Ryanair. Daarnaast was mijn koffer kleiner dan anderen in het vliegtuig en werd die van mij als enige in het ruim geplaatst. Je gaat mij niet wijs maken dat iedereen prioriteit tickets heeft gekocht."

Voordelen: "Prima vlucht. Geen extra’s maar dat kan ook niet voor doe prijs."

Nadelen: "Flight was more rhan 30 min late"

Nadelen: "Door omstandigheden zijn wij niet geweest"

Nadelen: "Wij zijn uren met Ryanair Bezig geweest om de tenaamstelling op de tickets te herstellen. Het tussenvoegsel in de naam is niet meegekomen in de boeking. Ik ben hier zeer ontevreden over en kon niemand van Kayak bellen. Wij kwamen er pas zaterdag na het inchecken achter! Lag niet aan Ryanair."

Voordelen: "Fast and effective"
Nadelen: "We had to wait a little on the tarmac with no A/C. Understand they want to save gas but its getting real hot in there..."

Voordelen: "Punctueel"
Nadelen: "Stoelen staan erg dicht op elkaar"

Voordelen: "Ryan Air deed de complete Europese luchtvaart instorten met efficient vliegen maar van efficient boarden hebben ze geen benul. Ook hier is nog grote winst te behalen. Elk vliegtuig 15 minuten korten aan de grond, reken uit de winst voor Ryan en dan toegenomen vlieg plezier voor hun reizigers."

Voordelen: "Mooi helder weer, snelle afhandeling van de bagage."
Nadelen: "Boarden duurde lang. Onduidelijk waarom 30 minuten vertraging optrad. Veel mensen boeken priority, waardoor dit alleen kostenverhogend werkt en niets meer toevoegd als iedereen het heeft."

Voordelen: "The staff were professional"
Nadelen: "Bad language and rude conversations by some passages."

Voordelen: "Flight on time no delays especially with the weather been bad"
Nadelen: "Only problem I would say they delay in baggage handling and on the wrong carousel"
