Nadelen: "There was a nosiey family setting behind us they bothered us an the ppl around us the little kid was very hyper and loud un polite and the father him self is very rough when getting up an setting as he would grap the chair very hard and he would move and kick alot we complained to the crew but he didn’t stop and the noise and bothering was there the whole flight, the captain of the flight felt like he isnt a professional as the plain was moving in unstable way on a high speed and uncomfortable degree where we felt unsafe at a point, the flight was Delayed one hour so as the time we took of we reach to dubai an hour late and had just around 50 min to get to the connected flight we had to run and we couldn’t rest or take a look at the airport our waiting time was 1:50 min because of the delay we had to run for the next flight, i think that Emirates airlines should stop dealing with Flydubai crew as they aren’t as professional and they are effecting in a bad way, i have traveled many times with Emirates and this is the first time i dont feel satisfied, next time ill make sure the flight isnt oprated by Flydubai they crew and captain is not in the professional level at all."

Qantas does not honour the e-ticekts from Emirates and will NOT allow you to preselect seats online. You have to hope for a good seat at airport checkin. I was very disappointed about her comment. Even worst, to see how inconsiderate she was and how she did not even considered if this gentleman could read, or did not have his eyewear. I believe her comment was unnecessary and inappropriate at the time. I could not quite get her name, but she does not need to deal with the public."

The Edelweiss brand is too much based on outdated stereotypes and Heidiland. Nobody in Switzerland walks around dressed and make-uped like the stewardesses of Edelweiss air."

From Chicago I used my ticket and say SWISS staff what my son will have trip only from Moscow. I paid for 2 tickets around $1700. Today when we should have trip back to USA, SWISS company said what ticket for my son do not exsist. And I spent for new ticket 220000 rubles about $3600. Nobody in SWISS company do not said me what my tocket for son canceled. I am shoked !!!"

If I'm paying that much for a flight, I don't really appreciate having hordes of people lined up for the bathroom, bumping me constantly. I also don't very much like the door constantly opening and closing, due to noise and the obvious smell. Furthermore, I sat next to a family with 2 screaming babies. Overall, 8 hours of agony. Not a good experience at all."

Nadelen: "There was no wifi available, the airline did not have a record of my request for a vegan meal even though I submitted one when I booked my tickets, and they claimed I did not pay for/reserve a seat (even though I had for the flight over, which I booked at the same time as the return flight), so I was stuck in a cramped middle seat for 8 hours trying to write a paper without the internet."

Nadelen: "Only one agent to check in economy passengers two agents for first class and 2 or 3 for special needs. There were many more economy passengers and it took a lot longer to be serviced more agents for economy would have been more equitable"

Voordelen: "Flight attendants where very nice and attentive. Good choice of movies and shows for adults and kids. I usually don't eat airplane food but it looked fresh and my kids enjoyed the breakfast very much with fresh baked bread and croissant. My flight was delayed by one hour but it was a problem caused by the airport not the airline. I still made my connection and I received my suitcaises right away."

Voordelen: "My flight from Budapest to Istanbul was delayed by weather and heavy flight traffic in Istanbul. At booking time, I had only a 1 hour layover, which I commonly NEVER schedule. Upon arrival at the IST terminal gate, I exited quickly and was met at the end of the runway by a Turkish Airlines customer service rep, permitting me to transit directly to the transit lounge, rather than sending me back through security yet again. As she looked at my boarding pass for the next flight, she knew who I was and she sent me directly to the proper gate for my next flight. Turkish Airlines, you ROCK! (My bag even made the connection!)"

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Voordelen: "Walking past the Turkish Airlines desk in Dulles and knowing I would NEVER have to interact with these monsters again."
Nadelen: "I am an experienced traveler. I've been to 17 countries and have flown over a million miles in both business and coach. My wife encountered a problem in Istanbul that involved an airport transit visa through Canada. I am certain that any other airline we’ve ever flown would’ve assisted us, since it was easily resolved. To Turkish Airlines, this is simply a part of their business model and a chance to make more money. It took about 8 hours of our time at 5 different airport locations to eventually buy new tickets to get back the next day. Our original tickets say: “REISSUE With 200.00 USD penalty. What I didn’t see was the fine print at the bottom: “Turkish Airlines reserves the right to change rules regarding ticket changes and refunds.”. They mean it. As bad as our personal experience was, the real reason we are so appalled is that we were there long enough to see this is the norm for them. In our single day there, we saw at least 100 other travelers going through similar things. The ONLY solution ever offered is to purchase another ticket. We witnessed several people weeping. Many losing control and shouting. Their own personnel were screaming at customers (in a separate office area though, it was all yucks and laughing). These were people of all nationalities. Africans, Asians, Europeans. We were lucky because we had the means to purchase new tickets. Others clearly didn’t. I really don’t know what happened to some of them. One moment was very symbolic of the entire experience. Another vanquished traveler was paying $843 for a new ticket with cash. He handed her $845 but she, of course, had no change. Instead of the $5, he gave her two $1 bills. I had one in my pocket so gave it to her as well. She held my $1 bill up and pointed to the corner which had a very small piece torn off…no ink was missing…and sneered “I can’t accept this. She did this simply because she could. We were powerless. She knew it and reveled in it."

Nadelen: "I paid $100 extra for extra leg room. I was put right next to the bathrooms. All night long people were standing in line to use the bathroom. My extra leg room was taken by people standing in the space and actually stepping on my foot. Not worth the extra $100."

Nadelen: "Give more attention to travellers with infants as they really need your support. Had twins and whenever meals were served, I couldn’t take them but whenever I buzzed, was asked to wait but then nothing came through. At the end of the flight, I had missed all my meals, no hot water for kids milk"

Nadelen: "Lufthansa’s needs to get their staffing act together. It took 1 1/4 hrs to check in due to insufficient staff & then once on board the flight it was announced there was no food available due to staffing shortages"

On the plane, stewardesses made it clear that they were not interested in providing drink or bassinet help as they had ‘paper work requirements’ or other more important things to do. Very shocking for business class tickets."

Nadelen: "Classical music selection was extremely limited. Complementary headphones were inferior to the point of being useless. I could understand only a small amount of the dialogue until I switched to my own earphones."

Voordelen: "best take off and landing I’ve ever experienced. 2 meals for an 8 hour flight and all the red wine I could drink!"

Voordelen: "Plane was clean and a little more roomy than most long distance flights."
Nadelen: "Entertainment system in my row didn't work correctly. Flight delayed due to weather. On board announcements said Lufthansa would rebook passengers with connecting flights and tell us arrangements as soon as we landed. No sign of Lufthansa reps at arrival gate area and zero directions on where to go. Had to walk miles through Frankfurt airport , go through immigration and security again without any direction one where to find Lufthansa and when finally found Lufthansa service counter it was understaffed with long lines and confusion. By time we learned rebooking, we almost missed rebooked connections. So much for German organizing and efficiency."

Nadelen: "Had to wait more than 30 min at SJC"

Voordelen: "There was no communication between aircrew and gate for transfers. There is a new additional check between gates and no passenger was informed. This security check was over an hour long. The flight was not held for me and other passengers and when we arrived at the gate they were oblivious of the fact that we had been held up in what seemed to be a Km long security line."

Voordelen: "I flew in Business Class from JFK to Munich and then back to JFK via Frankfort. Both flights were on time and very smooth overall in both directions. The cabin crew was good both ways and all spoke English well. Lufthansa long haul flights still use the older 2 x 2 x 2 seating arrangement (unlike the more modern and common 1 x 2 x 1 arrangement where all seats have aisle access)...so if you don't want someone crawling over you trying to get to the toilet while you are trying to sleep be sure to choose a center seat (both with direct aisle access.) While not totally uncomfortable, the Lufthansa business class sleeper seats are narrower...less well padded...and have less recline options than those used by most other long haul airlines, especially the very narrow foot-wells. The pillows and blankets could be better too. The food was OK - but not on a par with what most other airlines serve on long haul flights. The JFK to Munich flight was non-problematic in all respects. However, there was a screaming baby in my aisle (Row 4 on a 747-8 only 2 seats away from me) on the Frankfort to JFK leg...which I found TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE."
Nadelen: "What airline would permit a lap baby (less than 2 years old...a periodic screamer...and totally unmanageable by its solo-travelling mother) to occupy it's Business Class section on a 7+ hour flight - while inconveniencing (and aggravating) all other nearby Business Class passengers who paid thousands of dollars/euros to ride in Business Class so they don't have to put up with this kind of nonsense? The answer is: "LUFTHANSA!!! And YES, this actually happened on my Frankfort to JFK flight (LH 400 on 23 January 2017.) I'm not sure if the woman in question paid for two seats or not but this unmanageable kid finally calmed down and fell asleep - but he did so in the seat next to her. If this unmanageable lap kid was allowed to do everything he did (including to use a Business Class seat for free IF that is what actually happened) then this just adds insult to injury. WAKE UP LUFTHANSA!!! People pay huge sums to ride in Business Class to avoid this situation - and it's time you BANNED this situation from even occurring."

Voordelen: "Everything was great. Staff of ground services for last security hand bags and passengers checks, documents final checks and all were with great flow, smiles and so professional. Hospitality from cabin crew, cleanliness, food portions and taste were great. Comfortable seats and elite shading side windows. Everything was sooo great. This really escalades recommendations for EgyptAir"

Nadelen: "The plane was old, we boarded late, a guy lit up a cigarette enroute - and I think it may have been a flight attendant - seats are tiny and don’t incline more than 15%, awful food."

Nadelen: "The plane was old, the seats were uncomfortable with no adjustable headrest or flaps to hold your head from flopping. There was no personal entertainment screens on the back of the seats, only the small community one mounted on the roof. The sound for this was terribly unclear. 8 hour boring flight."

Nadelen: "Delayed 16 hours and counting. 300 passengers brought to a hotel and given little to no information. Only 2 egyptair staff members for all 300+ passengers."

Voordelen: "Better seat, food, in-flight entertainment, lights not on as long so people can sleep"

Then we landed 20 minuets later than schedule, but the pilot failed to recognize the delay, he announced the schedule arrival time rather than the actual time. Then the freaking airport is so bad, that I decided not to come back here anymore. The luggage were delayed for an hour and half and we asked the supervisor he said that’s usually what happened, and we have to wait, he didn’t even care to provide any explanation for why all this unnecessary delay."
