Delayed flights!!!!! Had to rent a car from JFK and drive home to Syracuse $225! Have to be to work at 5am Monday NOT HAPPY
Excellent service, the food was delicious and the inflight entertainment full of options for varied taste.
The service was outstanding and cabin crew were friendly and approachable. Beverage service was regular throughout the flight, but the quality of the food could have been better, even for Premium Economy.
Both flights SIN<-->MAN had very cold cabins. Why does it have to be very cold?

Nadelen: "Air port does not have automatic internet connection We were there for 8 hours with no internet because we had no international roaming to receive the PIN via SMS. The four PINS generated by the counter staff did not work. We all took turn to try to no avail. by then we have walked too far from the counter we could not be bother going back. No airport that I've been to had poor internet service connection like this airport, yet it is supposed to be THE WORLD'S NUMBER ONE AIRLINE. We boarded at 11.30pm, last time we flew with them they gave us supper. Last night they gave us only water. We went to sleep hungry till the morning. Since when they started to operate like those cheap airlines that you have to pay for your food? And the night package did not have eye mask.... how could we sleep... ? Singapore airline could learn from Qtar. Very very disappointed."

There was a bit more leg room but that was about it, Having said that Singapore Airlines overall is pretty good - toilets kept nice and clean and everyone well taken care of."

Nadelen: "The business class seats were smaller than I thought and not so comfortable as the 777. The seats are hard and ungiving and when you sleep on them you really feel it. Plus the flatbed lay out meant you were basically lying in a question mark position, not so goof for tall people like my husband. The food was good but uninteresting and I think for an overnight flight there should be more smaller,lighter, non spicy options offered rather that full dinners."
Voordelen: "Friendly efficient staff. plane 777 business class seat comfortable, and flat bed, once you figured out how to operate it was also comfortable. Food was good but not excellent compared to previous flights."
Nadelen: "Singapore Airlines business class lounge in Melbourne was less than impressive and the food was atrocious. Lounge in Singapore was large but still overcrowded. Amenities much better and the food was plentiful and interesting."
Voordelen: "Scoot employees were really helpful, I missed my flight from Singapore to Kochi because by the time the passengers got off the flight and went through immigration in Singapore, the check in counter had closed, and there was no more flights available to Kochi until 2 days later. The employees made sure I boarded my flight and I came home to my sister’s wedding"
Nadelen: "Kayak doesn’t specify its two separate tickets for my destination to kochi from Honolulu, also they didn’t specify their would be a stop in Japan before the flight reached Singapore. The flights were delayed by a few minutes, which led to me stressing to make it on time to my flights, and I felt dehydrated and nauseous. Also the website doesn’t specify that we will have to purchase meals either before hand or on board, and that the airlines only took cash and no credit card. It was miserable, a whole 20+ hour flight with lots of stress of catching my flight, checking and the checking my baggage, and being hungry and thirsty because I didn’t carry enough cash on me."

Nadelen: "They seemed to miss a whole section with immigration cards which delayed my party of travellers when we landed. The recline of the seat is huge, great for those wo recline, not so great for the person behind them"

There are plenty storage space in your seat space. The entertainment system has many choices and has a lot new release movies and shows."
Nadelen: "Unfortunately, the ride on Boeing 777 is not as smooth as the Airbus'. The noise in the cabin is louder. The seat is comfortable but the bed is not. First, the flat bed is not transformed by a button and it needs a physical person to flip it over. The mat is thin and I can feel some hard edges while lying down. The noise from the engine transmits to the bed and it is hard to sleep even with the noise cancellation headphone."

Nadelen: "The dinner was terrible. I am a long time customer of Singapore Airlines and I know where the standard are. The food on this flight was the worst I've seen. The starter (vermicelli) was overly salty, dry and severely undercooked. The main course was acceptable but the portion of chicken was more like side dish not main. Missing sides."
Voordelen: "Finally an airline that loads from the back to the front. Makes sense to me"

Nadelen: "Our bid was rejected yet there were empty seats in premium economy. Our bid was within the recommended range. You certainly would not have lost money upgrading us."
Voordelen: "I loved the professionalism of the crew, and how they treat the passengers with such care. I prefer Singapore airlines over any other. Seats are very comfortable. This craft had touch screen monitors that worked well. I was able to use my own ear buds by pulling the jack out part way."
Nadelen: "I really only have one gripe. I wish there were more movie choices for adults that did not have foul language and immoral scenes."

Voordelen: "The presence and attitude of the flight attendants were highly pleasant and accommodating. The entire flight was very comfortable and made the 9 hour journey from Manchester to Houston Texas fast and enjoyable. The flight attendants always had a wonderful smile which felt genuine many a time and always made an effort to speak at the level of the passenger. When I had trouble connecting to the Wifi, one attendant even knelt down and connected my phone manually as I was not tech savvy in this regard. The food was of much higher quality as well compared to other airlines I traveled with on this trip."
Nadelen: "Really the only issue was there was a 2 hour delay on departure, however this was due to issues out of control of the airline and I did not mind as the airline's ambience and my experience with it overshadowed any delays."

Nadelen: "The crew was chronically rude to me. They would skip me when handing out beverages to everyone. I was lied to and passed down the beaurocracy over issues with my Stopover Holiday packages. They lost my bags. In Hong kong, I was told the designated smoking area in the terminal was close and the steward encouraged me to go...I almost missed the flight even though I didn't even make it to where she directed me. It was not close, she was a liar. They lost my bags. They kept calling me sir despite my corrections and obvious female anatomy. They had no remorse or apologies for their errors"

Nadelen: "I asked to be placed in a seat as close to the front as possible as I suffer from motion sickness in the back of the plane. I was placed in the back row all the way to my destination and all the way home. I vomited 8 times and felt very sick. I did notice that there were many seats available in the front of the plane but they are never given out as women with babies and children always get them and then single travellers like myself are made sit in the back. I travel a lot, I usually fly Qantas and they are very good at providing seats closer to the front. I will be reluctant to fly Singapore Airlines again due to the fact that they were not accommodating at all."

Voordelen: "Before booking my flight on Singapore airlines, I took the time to read through some reviews and to be honest, the reviews left by previous passengers did not do the airlines any justice. I rarely, if at all, leave any reviews myself but my flights (from SFO - Singapore and vice versa) were AMAZING! I was sitting in economy and the level of attentiveness that we received, I could only imagine how great first class could be. if i could fly Singapore on all my trips overseas I would."

Travelled in time as advertised
The only thing that really bothered me was an obnoxiously loud and annoying child sitting next to her father, who had headsets on and made no attempt to discipline the child. I thought maybe the staff should have said something to him in a polite manner

The flight from Rome to Ams was delayed. The flight from AMS to Moscow was missed. - We spent 2h in a linewaiting for the service desk to rebook the tickets - Then, we spend more than an hour to get the hotel - Then waiting for the shuttle another 30 minutes Unexpectedly poor and slow service. The next working day is ruined with the flight in the middle

L’organisation de manière générale est rassurante, le personnel agréable. Le confort des sièges sur les longs courriers pourraient largement être amélioré…
Le vol est parti avec 2 heure de retard. Dans l'attente, aucune information ne nous a été donnée et le personnel du service client de British Airlines absent. Avant le départ, le Stewart a dû réparer le plafond de la cabine avec du scotch. Nous sommes arrivés trop en retard pour prendre ka navette reliant l'aéroport au centre ville et nos bagages étaient perdus ! Impossible de joindre le service client de British Airlines (répondeur pendant 30 minutes puis ça raccroche) !
I would like to comment about the time of check in, it took me 35 min. I was exhausted with my 11 years old daughter. Beside that the food was not good at all, my daughter didn’t eat anything for more than 10 hours flight. Hopefully you can make a kid’s food like macaroni or lazania. Thanks for your understanding.

Nadelen: "This 747 should be refurbished or retired. I've traveled this flight on 777s and newer 747s. This plane was an embarassment."

Voordelen: "Friendly and helpful cabin crew, even on this short flight. I liked the fact that the Captain stood outside the flight deck to say goodbye to the passengers. A nice touch."

Personable, friendly service. Crew interactions always naturally pleasant and polite. The crew really enjoy their job and interactions with one another. Public Addresses are all smooth, clear and unambiguous - this instils confidence. Landing was butter-smooth in what seemed to be challenging and turbulent conditions - Kudos to the flight crew. Boarding and airport experience were good also.

Nadelen: "very delayed flight in addition slow flying what should have taken 52 minutes ended 1 hour 20 min to add to that poor cabin crew management of Business Class disembarking excruciating slowly added another delay of 20 minutes!"
Nadelen: "I paid more than 1500 ringgit for the bags, although the booking of the trip was comprehensive. Unfortunately the site disappointed me"

Nadelen: "Creaky seats in business class, below average selection of inflight movies and food that was substandard. This was a very oddly configured A330 with the seats in business way too close to each other. Every time they make an announcement you have to deselect whatever you were watching again."
Voordelen: "Crew was terrible plane dirty and very poor service waited 90 minutes after take off to get a drink in business class. Last time I fly this airline used to be ok but now going downhill"
Nadelen: "Almost every thing. Incredibly dirty plane and crew just poor not interested in passenger at all unfortunately noticing this more and more with MAS"

Not enough counter staff. Check in counter contractor staff inexperienced and held us up for over an hour due to unfamiliar"

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed 4 hrs then took them another hour to departure from JED to KUL. The airplane was an old 330 with shitty bathrooms, and I can't forget how one of crew keeped knocking on me in the toilet and he actually opened the door and said nothing at all which pissed me off,because I work for airline company and I had been in many once before but that behavior is amature once from supposedly experienced Crew member. Anyway save your money and time and avoid this airlines."

Voordelen: "The boarding is a bit mess up as it was delayed by Malindo Air which share the same gate, I wonder Malaysia Airport authorities has run out of resources why cramp 2 airlines in same gate departing 30 minutes apart, crew is OK seats is comfortable but landing is quite uncomfortable"

Voordelen: "Avoiding the huge queues (lines) in Asian airports is worth gold. Bz class travel on the KUL-BKK sector on Malaysian isn’t great but avoiding the queues at both ends makes it all worth it"
Voordelen: "We arrived at the counter 1:50 before scheduled departure. The queue took 55 minutes for us to reach the counter. We were told then we should have rushed the counter to clear the 1 hour hurdle. There was no approach by staff to warn the waiting queue to do this. We were given boarding passes and told to try our luck taking the luggage through security and try gate baggage check. We made the plane 20 minutes before scheduled departure"
Nadelen: "Very old plane equipment Short seat pitch limits economy class passenger comfort"
Voordelen: "Liked the USB port for recharging electronic devices"
Nadelen: "Seats were too close together. Not very comfortable. We were in row in front of emergency exit. Seats didn't recline. We should be alerted when we select these seats that they are uncomfortable."
Voordelen: "On time departure, clean aircraft, generally friendly staff/crew."
Nadelen: "Breakfast - woken 2 hours before landing, very sorry version of "breakfast" was at best aweful only to then have lights turned off again after service completed."
Voordelen: "The first and second flight of the four were on time. The food was surprisingly pretty good- probably some of the best airplane food I've had. Not much variety, but still good. One of the four flights had entertainment, and the movies were of good selection."
Nadelen: "Planes poorly taken care of inside. First flight back delayed so long, missed our connection. Ended up having to stay in KL, where the hotel they put us in was an hour away from the airport. No direction, terrible communication. The attendant in Bali lied to me, knowingly. I had to miss a day of work due to this. And this all could have been avoided if they would have held the second plane just 30 more minutes."
Nadelen: "No beer or wine in business class! Did not want a meal, so I got water and a tiny pack of peanuts."
Voordelen: "Crew seems friendly."
Nadelen: "Business class food is not that good. Menu were not provided so when time to take the order, we have to decide quickly."

Voordelen: "The cabin crew was welcoming. The flight itself was smooth and on time."
Nadelen: "The smell of the toilets were really bad. Urine on the floor. I know I purchased economy class tickets but I expect the toilet facility to be better maintained."

Voordelen: "There was nothing positive about the experience on this flight. With exit row seats had to stow luggage back in overhead holds which meant having to go back on landing, retrieve bag & for get way back to seat. Not Airlines fault but no gantry available on arrival. Up and down runway until available (20min) before we could exit."
Nadelen: "Fact that once again confirmed seating was changed from original booking. Extremely frustrating. Slight delay on take off. Had exit row seats."
Voordelen: "On time flights, comfortable seats and good onboard service"

Nadelen: "Business class service falls short of other comparable airlines. Extensive auction of business class seats packs the cabin resulting in full fare passengers not getting a service representative of the class fare. Wines offered could be better."

Nadelen: "Red snapper was over cooked and rubbery. MH used to have great food. What happened??? IFE system was poor although flight was only over an hour in length - not a major issue."

Nadelen: "I got severely sick after having ate in the plane. Only a weird selection of old movies provided. Checkin online bugging. Gates are very far in the airport."

Nadelen: "Nothing special on this flight. Entertainment system didn't actually work at the beginning for everyone on board and had to be rebooted. you would think everything would be thoroughly checked prior to a flight. It started to work about an hour later into the flight."
