From food to accomodation. We'll still fly with Qatar Airways. I know there's a good reason for the delays."

Nadelen: "The need to pull out boarding passes multiple times-like 6 times- and having to be screened Twice. To even buy some mouthwash i had to show boarding passes. Ridiculous"

Nadelen: "Had an 11hr delay overall, 3.5hrs sitting on the tarmac only to be told to disembark for dinner at the airport. Then told that we won't be getting on until 7am the next day, but only really started boarding at 8:30am. By the time we were told about the reschedule to the next morning, it was too late to get a hotel room (too far away) and was told that I could use a 'Quiet Lounge' at the airport (which wasn't quiet). While waiting to board at 7am the next day, ground staff told us that they had to change the plane so there would be a further delay. On boarding, we discovered that it was the SAME PLANE."

Voordelen: "I flew from Bali to Doha and then Doha to Dulles after an 8 hour layover. Both flights operated a Boeing 777. The planes were spotlessly clean both flights. The menu choices were amazing and the wine selections were very good. What made the difference was the attentiveness of the cabin crew. I would particularly like to commend the purser and the flight attendants on flight 707 DOH-IAD for their assistance and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty"
Nadelen: "Flight 707 was supposed to have the new Qsuites in Business Class, so it was disappointing that without prior notice the airline switched to an aircraft with normal (but quite good) business class seating. Nevertheless, the purser and the flight attendants made the flight memorable in a very positive way."

While fasten seat belt sign was on I found people standing, walking, using toilet etc but air Crew did never brought up the issue of safety."

Nadelen: "Le manque d'espace , mais il me semble que s'est pire avec d'autres transporteurs. Dormir ou essayer de dormir dans un avion, un vraie aventure, de toute façon."

Voordelen: "Cet avion un B--777 avait plus d’espace pour les jambes, ce qui fut fortement apprécie.. Ce n'était pas le cas pour les épaules, surtout si le voisin est le moindrement corpulent ou un peu hors norme, ce qui n'est pas mon cas, ni celui de mon épouse."
Nadelen: "Dormir dans un avion ou essayé d'y dormir est une sacrifice que je ne suis plus prêt a payer . Dorénavant, je me contenterai de de distance ne dépassant 7-9-heures"

Voordelen: "The flight got delayed for 4.5 hours. We didnt receive any call, sms or email informing us about the delay. We went to the airport for checkin only to discover that it was delayed! No justification or any reason were given to us. We are travelling with a baby. We had to get a taxi to return to our home and return back to the airport after 4.5 hours. Called qatar airways and send them a xomplaint email. No one cared to answer. The worst flight ever. Will never go with qatar airways anymore"

Nadelen: "We departed late and arrived at least 30-40 mins late. Crowded plane. I was very uncomfortable, the person sitting next to me took up space and was not very friendly. Bathrooms were not so clean at times (this may not necessarily be the airline’s fault)."

Nadelen: "My seat was broken, almost 8h with my back straight up. I've advised the team about it but apparently it was no seats available."

Nadelen: "I'm desapointed with first flight with Emirates. Having travelled with various airlines, i was expecting a much better service on board. 15 min waiting on a call for the cabin crew to answer and separately banquets and pillows who stinks."

There were a quite a few passengers booked on the connecting flight but Qantas made no attempt to get us on board it and instead re-booked us for the next flight which was scheduled for 2.5 hours later but, in fact, left nearly 3.5 hours later. Breakfast consisted of rubber egg."

Nadelen: "The leg room is obviously minimal in economy but compared to Singapore Airlines this was cramped and when the seat in front reclines it's almost impossible to find a comfortable position if you're over 5 foot 9! food was below par."

While booking the tickets mine and my wife’s full details such as the Name, Nationality and Passport were given. In spite of this nowhere was it mentioned in the Quantas terms and conditions or any prompt/popup given while booking the tickets that Australian transit visa is required for Indians since the flight is via Australian city. I had booked the tickets well in advance and had enough time to get transit visa had there been any information about it mentioned. On 1st December 2016 when we went to the Changi airport we were not allowed to board the plane as we did not have the Australian transit visa. We were told by Quantas personnel at the airport to go to the Australian embassy in Singapore to get the transit visa and that we would get it within a day. Next day we went to the embassy and found that the Australian visa is done by VFS global at a different address. When went there they informed us that Australian visa takes minimum 5 days. I had all my hotel bookings in New Zealand already done hence I had no choice to take a direct Singapore Auckland flight via Singapore Airlines at a very high price on the next day. I also lost one day of my hotel booking in Auckland and had to forfeit the money. I and my wife had to go through the psychological trauma of being refused to board the plane, then the next day running around the Australian embassy / VFS global office for trying to get the Australian transit visa and facing the uncertainty regarding our new Zealand trip which was planned well in advance for our 25th wedding anniversary"

Voordelen: "The check in process was seamless - we did not queue at all The crew were great and gave us a bottle of bubbles when we landed The food was surprisingly good"

Voordelen: "Was impressed with all aspects of Air Calin. Great staff - nice plan - lovely service including food."

Voordelen: "All was good. Excellent price. Plenty of space. Crew was nice and helpful, as always with Turkish Airlines. The flight was on schedule."
Nadelen: "The food was basic, but I understand this, as we have the pandemics, and there is no opportunity for cooking."

Voordelen: "The seats were surprising and comfortable and reclined quite a bit. The food was excellent and the people serving it was so nice"

Nadelen: "Turkish was phenomenal. FareScan could have definitely been better. After booking they called demanding another $145 for my seats. They said they couldn’t complete my reservation without it and needed an email confirmation from me to approve the new charge. Seeing I was short on time, I didn’t have a choice. Will never do business with them again."

Voordelen: "We get turkey on time waiting in the air port for 9:30 hour then we get the plane and waiting two more hours on the ground so the flight very tiering I will never take Turkish airlines again in the pass never happened I don’t know happened to the management ???"
Nadelen: "My flight take 32 hours the price not worth it ,,, they said if you stay ten ours they give us a hotel room they did not they give us a sorry meal ,,, the food court very crowded and mangment"

Voordelen: "The amount of food and drinks we got was perfect, the movies, shows and other entertainment options were plenty and they had a great selection, and the sleep kit (slippers, socks, lip balm, etc) was very much appreciated and helpful. The staff were nice and professional."

Voordelen: "One of my fave airlines now Great seats, services, staff Turkish coffee in the air!"
Nadelen: "they keep the cabin a bit too hot, need to ask them all the time to make it colder"

Nadelen: "Not enough bathrooms. Very long lines to go to the bathroom."

Voordelen: "I bought a ticket for three persons: my wife, my daughtet and me. I am Nigerian, my daughter American, and my wife's Turkish. However, because of the diplomatic row between Turkey and the U.S., my daughter was refused entry into Turkey. Turkish airlines' policy was to refund the ticket of any American caught in this row. They said they will refund my one month old daughter's ticket. However, my wife and i will not receive a refund. We bought the three tickets together. Our ticket numbers ended in 235...51, 235...52, and 235...53. However, they will not refund our whole money by cancelling the ticket but only that of my daughter. So this is the question: Does Turkish airline want me to leave my one-month old baby in the U.S. and tavel with my wife to Turkey? What kind of parents will we be if we were to abandon our daughter to take a trip to Turkey. Even, the people in Turkish airlines will judge us evil parents, yet that was exactly the only option they gave us. Lose your daughter or lose your ticket money. They will not even just change our iternary or give us another destination we suggested without penalties which are almost 3/4 of our initial ticket price. They just made away with our money. You cannot say, 'We are cancelling tickets for American citizens' but make no exception for parents of infant citizens. This is the height of criminality. So, me and my family couldn't take the flight and lost $1500. We had to buy another ticket by airfloat to get to Georgia. But Turkish airlines refused to even contact us on the refund for my daughter. A truly criminal enterprise."
Nadelen: "They had a vague refund policy for Americans, forgetting that American infants can also have none-American parents who are as much victims in this as the American infant. For them to be myopic and keep repeating talking points of their refund policy is unfortunate to say the least."

Voordelen: "Airplane crew was amazingly friendly and helpful"
Nadelen: "The customer service in Istanbul airport (for Turkish Airlines) did not speak or understand English at all. She could not give us any helpful information of our flight"

Voordelen: "Great food and on board service"
Nadelen: "I missed a bit more leg room to be able to sleep ok"

Voordelen: "Turkish Airlines always has decent food and entertainment."
Nadelen: "An hour late with no apologies. And seats are so small, the people sitting next to me were so large that I didn’t have enough room."

Voordelen: "Great entertainment options. The food was very good for a relatively short flight. Definitely will keep flying Turkish Airlines."
Nadelen: "The passenger that did get seat for her child and herself next to each other. So I gave up my window seat because another premadonna would not give up his. That was the only bad part."

Voordelen: "I got a return ticket from Houston to Lagos, the first leg of my trip went pretty well, no hassle at all, the staff and crew were great and professional."
Nadelen: "But the second leg of my trip which was Lagos back to Houston was horrible, the Turkish Airlines employees at the Murtala Mohammed International airport Lagos were the worst ever, unprofessional, rude and lack basic knowledge of boarding. Decided to do their own thing rather than what the airline allows. It's almost like they lacked training or just don't want to learn. No accountability whatsoever as one of the employee said "it's not like it's gonna affect my job anyways". Poor poor terrible customer service, no courtesy, no etiquette. I can go on and on but ain't nobody got time for their negativity."

Nadelen: "The comfort level for that long of a flight was very poor. Seats are way too close together. There is no knee room from the seats at the front at all. People operating their video monitor is a disturbing fact for the passengers who sits in front of them."

Voordelen: "The rear exit of the plane. The cabin crew were very attentive, almost too much. I brought my cat and she didn't get to sleep much. I appreciate that the attendants wanted to visit with her and give her their attention but it kept her from sleeping and woke me up. Since she had no proper place to use the bathroom she needed to be sleeping to keep her body clock in order."
Nadelen: "HOT AIRPORT AND PLANE...no overhead fan on the plane to cool off. Food not very tasty. My seat was switched after it was reserved to accommodate another passenger without my knowledge. The reason was not a valid one."

Voordelen: "The flight and crew were fine. The food and drinks are free, which I wish some US carriers would take note of and adopt."
Nadelen: "No heads-up that we couldn't take tablets / laptops on next flight to the USA."

Nadelen: "From Europe there are many parole headed to Asia who will overpack. I waited an extra 25 minutes in line behind a man who was over weight on luggage and refused to pay. The attendant did well but the security had to be called because of the situation. I would like to say this is unusual but I believe it is actually prett common."

Nadelen: "Entertainment system was present, but not working. Short enough flight that we didn't need it, though"

Voordelen: "Never again shame Missed connexion in Istanbul no service awful and lack of respect no more such a disaster no Thanx 3rd and last time"

Voordelen: "I really like the food and the crew members. they all were very kind and nice to us."

Voordelen: "Very little. I had heard that the food was better than United but I do not believe it is now that I have made six legs of travel and two of them over 13 hours."
Nadelen: "Turkish Airlines basically give minimal benefit to Star Alliance Gold members. Access to the lounge was given finally after I produced my physical Gold card even though I gave them my UA number. There are no ticketing agents in the Istanbul Airport within the secured area. I was not comfortable going outside security and then back again through security to upgrade my ticket. Agents at Turkish Airlines CIP NOT helpful."

Voordelen: "Everything was excellent :)"

Voordelen: "The entire trip was very good when though it was very long due to the stop over in turkey. The flight was very good ( business class). Service and food was outstanding. The seats were good. Laying down was still a bit tight due to the armrests remaining in the same position. The crew was extremely nice and always helpful. The Turkish Air lounge on Istanbul is great and makes the united lounge in SFO look like a soup kitchen. I would fly Turkish air again."

Nadelen: "Flight delayed and lack of communicatiob"

Nadelen: "First let me tell you that when I booked a flight to Istanbul from Brussels, I booked, so I thought, the airport called Istanbul Ataturk with the initials of IST. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

Voordelen: "Definitely would recommend Turkish airline Great experience overall"

Voordelen: "Turkish Airlines has some of the best amenities of any airline: great meals (and often), clean planes, plus two free checked bags for flights between Middle East and USA."
Nadelen: "The plane was overbooked with MANY seats having been doubly assigned. After more than half an hour we were given a new seat assignment (in first class! Business class had already been filled with other double bookings!). They did their best to accommodate everyone though and the remainder of the flight was very pleasant."

Voordelen: "Entertainment (movies) always helpful to pass the time."
Nadelen: "Hot in the plane during and after boarding - no cool air. I have come to expect more from Turkish Airlines, and I hope they make sure they improve this aspect."

Voordelen: "I like the fact that for almost 11 hours I was fed, entertained, and was able to rest. The flight crew was very hospitable and I would very much recommend it to others. The price was also very reasonable, unlike United or some other major carriers. It says something about your airline when I decide to fly through Istanbul, coming from Rome, to go back to the US. It's a longer flight but it's a worthwhile one. Thank you and keep up the good work."

Voordelen: "Food was good, airplane was newer than expected (nearly brand new, from the look) and the movie selection was excellent - and it was all free."
Nadelen: "More legroom would be nice. Boarding was a bit delayed for no visible reason."

Voordelen: "Great food and great service by crew. On time. Good aircraft. Good connection times."
Nadelen: "With the high level of noise, I prefer movies with subtitles/CC. There were only a handful of such movies on the flight. Seats a bit too cramped and become unbearable when the front seat leans back.. Suggestion: have a hole section (i.e., center section, between isles) with seats that do NOT lean back."

Nadelen: "It was nothing about the flight itself but the about the Istanbul terminal. If Turkish airlines wants more people to travel through Turkey should improve the following: 1- Should make free Wifi available to every one. 2- Should keep the bathrooms clean at the terminals."

Voordelen: "That the flight was at most half full. This made it possible to stretch out along a row of three seats to sleep.The cabin crew were very attentive."
Nadelen: "The seats were comfortable, but very difficult to adjust. Leg room was minimal"

Nadelen: "The food caused food poisining"

Voordelen: "I loved the flight attendants, they were super sweet to us, specially our daughter"
Nadelen: "There is not free wifi!"

Voordelen: "Plane was clean, plenty of leg room, cabin crew was friendly, flight was on time."
Nadelen: "Checking in was a nightmare of inefficiency. I couldn't use self-check-in for my bad because I was flying to America and for some reason, this meant I had to hand my suitcase to someone rather than just putting it on the conveyor belt. There were about 8 people ahead of me, and yet it took a solid hour of standing in line waiting to get to the counter. How it could possibly have been so insanely slow is beyond me. When it was finally my turn to submit my bag it literally took 30 seconds. And yet I had to wait an hour. Grade: F-"

Nadelen: "Not to be seated next to a large man and a child behind me kicking my seat. Again, items out of your control. There is one item, and that is, I forgot to request a vegan food option and it would have been nice to have one last minute even though I did not request it."

Voordelen: "A350, very comfortable and quiet. Good crew and pleasant flight"
Nadelen: "cabin temperature was a bit too high through the night."

Nadelen: "I was not allowed to board the flight and made to wait for 4 hours at the Paris airport. This is extremely disheartening and frustrating to say the least. I would want to rescedhule my upcoming flight to avoid such inconvenience."

Voordelen: "Terrible check in in NY. 3 customer service reps for premium, 1 for economy class. [Flew premium economy to Helsinki and business to Warsaw] arrived late to Helsinki. Had to wait 8 hours. Food on the plane to Helsinki looked like vomit Never again. Afraid that on a way back the plane will be late again"

Nadelen: "Finnair had the worst leg room I've ever had in 50 years of traveling. It was so TIGHT that my knees were pressing up agains the seat in front of me the whole 8 hours of flight, even though I am only 5'7"! I felt really sorry for those passengers who were taller. Finnair also lost my checked in bag and delivered it 36 hours later without providing any compensation. Coming back the flight was delayed due to mechanical reasons, which caused a number of passengers miss connecting flights. This is one of the things that can happen to any airline, but only Finnair failed to provide an agent to take care of the passengers who missed their flights. So, after a 2 hour delay and 7 hours of traveling in the air, the stranded passengers had to find an agent in JFK who would rebook their flights. One of the worst traveling experiences. Will never travel Finnair again!"

I have been two days with the same cloths and no cleaning products, so disappointing they don't seem to care of all the inconvenience I have been experiencing."

Voordelen: "I loved the colors of the flight.light blue and green. Gave a peaceful ambience. The flight attendants were very courteous and smiling. Especially the women flight attendants. The food was excellent. It was interesting that the flight from Helsinki to Chicago served a Indian style dinner comprising of lentils, rice and chickpeas. I liked that too, though I prefer the meditarranean fare. I liked the boarding as they were very strict about families with children and gave them priority before other passengers."
Nadelen: "I did not find too many indian films which I would have liked, especially in a flight because Indian movies are 3 hours long and help to pass the time quickly :). I would have liked more variety in the Hollywood movies as well. They mostly had much older films and hardly any of the new releases while Emirates flight had lot many more new releases and oscar winning movies. They served the Indian amul cheese which is not worthy of serving on a flight, and they could have served some better cheese."

Voordelen: "The general entertainment/informative systems ran perfectly smooth without hiccups! Cabin crews were all pleasant to everyone onboard and I didn't feel as tiring after my 10.5 hours flying time as compared with other airlines!"
Nadelen: "The pre-booked in-flight WIFI service can hardly say it's working as the connection speed was way too slow to perform any general tasks and that's ashamed as I paid premium charges for that and didn't expect that I couldn't use the service at last"

Nadelen: "Completely destroyed our itenerary"

Nadelen: "Extra long boarding process and the air conditioner was broken. We sat there like that for at least 30 minutes. Also, the airline had overbooked so we weren't able to check in the day before and pick our seats. That was a huge inconvenience."

Voordelen: "World best airline since my last flight to Hong Kong. New aircraft with the most confortable and complete flight experience I had in years in economy class. Seat confort, movie selection and quality of the screen, food quality, boarding speed, cabine pressure, all was immaculate."
Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."

Voordelen: "Very simple but reliable and confortable flight. We got clear instructions to get to the next terminal"
Nadelen: "We took off late and arrived even later so we had to run to get to the next plane"

Nadelen: "did not get to Helsinki in first place; flight from Warsaw to Helsinki canceled by Finnair (# 742) put in another plane, from other provider (LOT) going straight to Chicago; was not ready for it; we arrived at airport 2 hr before time of boarding and were rushed to plane going up in 45 min; very stressful; my daughter cried and we had no time to say good bays to family paid for selected seats - money not returned selected special meal - stayed hungry (8 hr fly) because they were not aware about our special needs; Finnair shold take care of it when canceling flight and putting us with other provider."

Nadelen: "Whoever designed and built this airplane should literally be INDICTED - AND I AM NOT KIDDING! We were in disbelief the moment we boarded and saw the airplane. 10 people across jammed into the row??!! - and on an long international flight?? - are you kidding??!! Further, these were the SMALLEST seats I have EVER been forced to sit in. Neither I, or my friend came close to fitting. We literally had to alternate getting up and standing because we were literally overlapping each other when we sat! (His shoulder and arm were literally on top of me!!). It was so bad that when the stewardess came rolling down the aisle with her cart, I had to be aware and see her in advance so I could literally TURN MY BODY OVER TO THE LEFT HALF ON TOP OF THE PERSON SITTING NEXT TO ME SO SHE WOULDN'T TAKE OFF MY ARM AND SHOULDER. ULTIMATELY, SOMEONE, OR MORE THAN ONE PERSON, IS GOING TO GET SERIOUSLY HURT BY THIS RECKLESS, GREED-DRIVEN DESIGN!! The OVERT GREED by the airline (American) clearly reflected by this in trying to JAM as many human beings into a flight as possible like Sardines is DISGUSTING!!! You simply DO NOT TREAT HUMAN BEINGS THIS WAY!! It is also clear evidence that there needs to be tighter standards, regulations and penalties by the FAA and what is allowed by airlines. AND I AM SENDING A LETTER TO THE FAA!!!"

Nadelen: "After waiting around in the airport for almost 10 hours we were finally told the flight was cancelled and my direct flight turned into a taxi transfer and 3 flights with a day lost on my vacation. I was not offered any compensation however I heard some passengers were given $7 food vouchers to be spent only in a small convenience store that was the only store open."

Voordelen: "crew was friendly and courteous"
Nadelen: "had to be bussed to different part of airport to board plane no sound on the entertainment console"

Voordelen: "The new 777 airplanes were exceptional as well as the splendid airline crew!"

Voordelen: "crew were great!"
Nadelen: "movies offered were poor. a dinosaur (great for kids), and a movie about love (horrible for all). food was yuck."

Nadelen: "Had to rush to my next flight and the gates were far apart."

Voordelen: "Overall a great flight."
Nadelen: "Breakfast not their best meal. No tea or coffee served, very disappointing."

Voordelen: "Flight was not super crowded. Crew were lovely."
Nadelen: "No seat back entertainment...had to endure The Charlie Brown movie, Nelson Mandela biopic and lousy boxing movie. Seats extremely small...would have been awful if plane was at full capacity. Plane very dated...no frills"

Voordelen: "Overnight flight and not full so could stretch out."
Nadelen: "It really was not Finnair, it was American. When I tried checking in Finnair had no knowlege of my ticket. I had to read the fine print to find the name American Airlines. Even the woman at Finnair was not sure, and thought that it was run by Brittish Air."

Voordelen: "It was not Finnair it was all British airways."

Nadelen: "Plane was not even parked at a gate. hat to be shuttled from plane to terminal"

Voordelen: "The flight was operated by Iberia. The crew was very good, the flight was on time and it was a comfortable flight. It was not a full flight (either way to or from Madrid) and there was plenty of room to spread out and sleep which was nice. The entertainment system was great with many options from TV to movies to games and music. The food was only fair but included a meal and a large snack. I will definitely take this flight again."

Nadelen: "We had the worst experience getting to our flight this airport is so badly managed it is laughable."

Voordelen: "I am not sure why when i bought my ticket on kayak just fly was the company I had to deal with. They are extortionist. They should be deleted from your website."
Nadelen: "Tried to change my flight, line got disconnected, when I called back the fees went from 500 to 1100 - they couldn't justify why. I will never use kayak again if these kind of people is who I have to deal with coupled with awful customer service they hung up on me three times."

Voordelen: "Crew got into the Christmas spirit"
Nadelen: "Audio sockets had "scratchy" sound quality, no matter which headphones were employed Touch screens were very unresponsive and viewing listings was infuriatingly slow - I would prefer to use a simple list without pics"

Voordelen: "About the only positive was that the plane left on time and arrived on time."
Nadelen: "Checking luggage was a nightmare. I stood well over an hour in line. We barely made the flight, and afterwards our luggage was lost, and it still has not been found. Nadelen: "If I'm paying for a trans-atlantic flight (at a fee of $1,000), I shouldn't be stuck on a plane that is used for domestic flights,and thus does not have the space nor the comfort of a larger plane. And, if this flight is not going to offer the amenities accustomed to a typical trans-atlantic flight (such as in-seat TV), then the price should be substantially cheaper. I will be complaining to the airline itself for this, and may not fly this airline again."
