Nadelen: "The seat in front of mine had a broken reclining lock mechanism and the passenger kept trying to switch from recline to sitting up and it wouldn't latch in the upright position, so he kept jerking the seatback up and down for the entire 4 hour flight. Also the rows were so tight, and seatbacks were so close together, that the reclining seat in front of me was 6 inches from my face."

Nadelen: "No available SkyTeam lounge unless you had a business class ticket. As a Diamond flier, I can always access the SkyTeam lounges. Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."

Nadelen: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Uitermate vriendelijke en behulpzame dame. Tijdens de vlucht was er zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam cabinepersoneel beschikbaar."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

From the crew at check desks, to those greeting you as you board and throughout the flight, they are the reason I continue to fly with them. I love how they have bassinets for those traveling with babies. the adventure packs for children and the never ending smiles and treats for the rest of us."
Nadelen: "This time I was turned away as a Sky Priority Member, and told there are too many categories at boarding and told my Silver Status (after this flight was bumped to Gold). Not sure what has changed in the last 2 weeks."

Nadelen: "The hot snacks were bland to the point of being not worth eating and I didn't finish it. Probably attempting to be too ambitious with the available budget? I'd prefer a simple sandwich that focuses on quality. The food on the return flight was just as bad"

Voordelen: "Crew was very good. On time, luggage arrived on time too. Glad fhat the movies and music worked this time--first time in last few flights. Anytime there are no hitches, its a good flight (most do have hitches)."
Nadelen: "Simply uncomfortable--no way around it. Food is 'meh'. Boarding in Schipol was a challenge--it was hard to find out what gate to go to, i had to investigate to get hints. Entertainment system worked on this flight, but that's the first time in my last 3 cross-Atlantic trips."

Nadelen: "Vol de nuit. Mon siege ne s inclinait pas. J en ai parlé avec l agente de bord et elle m a dit que si je le desirais j pouvais changer. Quand je lui en ai fait la demande elle ne s en ai pas occuper et je suis resté avec mon siege situé entre D et F. Avec en plus le passager devant moi qui a incliné son siege. Disons que j avais peu place. La climatisation ne semblait pas fo ctionner il faisait trop chaud. J avais un transfert a faire a Mexico pour Managua. A MTL on me dit que je dois recuperer mes bagages a Mexico. A Mexico on me dit qu ils les tramsferent eux memes!!! J attend mon vol a la porte 57 pour Managua. Sans en etre averti l em barquement a été changé sans que nous en soyons averti. Heureusement on s en ai rendu compte. En somme une très mauvaise expérience..."

Nadelen: "Je n'accepte pas du tout le fait que je sois obliger de payer un un montant de presce que 40$ pour ma valise de linge pour mon transport de voyage, et en plus je dois payer ce montant aller/ retour= pas loin de 80$ . Ceci est simplement RIDICULE! L'agent ma mentionné que cela allait changer bientot et redevenir comme avant donc, ne pas avoir a payer pour notre valise! En fait j'aimerais savoir si possible de me faire rembourser ce montant lors du changement . Laisser moi savoir ou je dois faire la plainte svp car je n'en reviens simplement pas. Avec tous respect, Merci de votre ecoute"

Nadelen: "The fact they sell you a flight with a connection in Mexico City with only an hour to transfer is ridiculous. Being that this is mexico’s airline they must know it’s a literal impossibility to make that connection. When you arrive they automatically shuttle you into an area to rebook you almost like it’s expected. Then you wait for 8 hrs in a crowded ghetto airport waiting to get on the next flight. When you speak to customer service they talk to you like your a dummy."

Nadelen: "Nourriture infâme, les ecrans videos ont été coupés au bout de 2h de vol sans explication On nous demande de nous présenter pour l'embarquement et on attend debout 40mn sans information Mauvaise gestion de l'embarquement des passagers par le personnel : bousculade etc ..."

Nadelen: "À Mexico City, l'employé de Aeroméxico me demande de récupérer mon bagage à Bogotá pour le remettre à un agent afin d'effectuer le transfert vers ma deuxième destination. C'est ce que je fais. Le temps de passer la douane et de récupérer mon bagage, le 2e avion avait décollé. Je me retrouve donc bloqué à Bogota. Aeroméxico n'est d'aucune aide et je me vois contraint de racheter un 2e billet d'avion."

Voordelen: "It was a pleasant surprise to have snacks and drinks offered for free in this airline. The on-flight entertainment offers a pretty good selection for a wide variety of tastes. Good flight experience"

Voordelen: "The people :) warm kind and helpful flight was delayed though and we had to stay in the plain for almost 2 hrs before we took off .................."

They never mentioned I had to be 2 hours earlier to be on board, I didn't got heads up, i came like an hour and 15 minutes, and they told me I was not able to go in, because the gates were closed. I told them about my situation that I was late because I was in a funeral, and they didn't really care about it. Customer service was not really nice to me even though when I got there not to late. They didn't really care. Sad about it. I though they were going to considered my case. The attitude of some employees were unacceptable."

Nadelen: "There was a 30 minute delay with the flight and the service to get laugage checked in was terrible"

Voordelen: "Aeromexico provides blankets; particularly useful on this overnight flight. The snack - such as it is - is certainly a step above what I get when I fly the same route on United. Also the entertainment system is much better, and free! This includes the flight map, although this was not functioning on the Calgary - Mexico City leg of my trip. Cabin staff are friendly and efficient. I paid extra for the exit row on the Calgary-Mexico City leg. Unfortunately, the cabin crew put another passenger in the seat adjacent to me, so I lost my expected room to stretch out. I'm tall, and this really affected my comfort on this long overnight flight."
Nadelen: "In-flight map wasn't working. Beer, scotch or red wine are not available, although other alcoholic beverages are available, apparently without charge. Mexico City is a terrible airport to have to pass through. Everyone has to go through Immigration (similar to US airports in that regard) even if just in transit. However, they have few officers there, and almost half of the available booths weren't even manned. The result was chaos, with the immigration hall filled with grouchy travellers, and other travellers stuck in aircraft waiting to disembark. Expect to be stuck in Immigration for a minimum of an hour after landing; maybe plan on 1 1/2 hours just to get through Immigration and Customs. And if you are making a connection, whatever you do don't go through the sliding doors on the other side of Customs - I made that mistake once!"

Voordelen: "it was a good flight, very comfortable and with many ammenities that helped to make and easy trip"
Nadelen: "Delay of two hours in Mexico City airport. We didn't know why but the aircraft was on ground."

Voordelen: "I couldn't believe that we actually got a meal on a flight and didn't have to pay for it. The airport was cold and I asked for a blanket when I got on the plane and was immediately handed a blanket which doesn't happen on other airlines I have flown on."

Voordelen: "I was comfortable, it was an all Arround good flight, friend Iiness,."
Nadelen: "Hard to think what I didn't like, since it's been years since I did not get a nice breakfast in other airlines until I flew on airmexico,and did get one."

Voordelen: "Coffee, SMILES on faces of the Capt., Stewards, Professional Appearances by AM staff from beginning to end. (unlike American Airlines) We had a snafu at boarding and a Miss Gina Diaz in San Jose Airport was MOST super helpful."
Nadelen: "No movies, or shorts, even clips or old tv shows.... WAAAAAAAA"

Nadelen: "Small horrible plane, original 6am flight cancel without notice, took 9am flight instead, took off late. Last time using this airline."

Voordelen: "everything."

Voordelen: "On nous a fait faire le check-in alors qu'ils savaient déjà le vol annulé. Nous on fait attendre 2 heures en salle d'embarquement sans afficher la porte d'embarquement. Nous ont menti tout le long en disant juste du retard. Lorsque j'ai reçu un email d'aeromexico indiquant le vol annulé ils ont alors reconnu que le vol était bien annulé. Ils nous ont tous rebooké sur un vol le lendemain à 8h30 et déposé dans un hôtel à 22h pour venir nous chercher à 6h. Au réveil nouveau mail f'aeromzxico indiquant que le nouveau vol est décalé à 9h45. À l'aéroport au check-in on nous assure que ce nouveau vol à bien lieu. Pourtant en salle d'embarquement encore une fois aucune porte n'est affichée. Après de longues discussion on apprend qu'il y a un pb pour notre vol, il n'y a pas de pilote ni d'avion. Au final nous avons réussi à embarquer sur un autre vol. La compagnie Aeromexico est à éviter, leur contrat indiqué qu'ils peuvent annuler un vol et ne pas respecter les horaires sans aucune compensation financière."
Nadelen: "Nous mentire tout le long. Nous faire faire le check-in quand ils savent que le vol et déjà annulé et continué à nous mentir pour nous faire attendre en salle d'embarquement. Nous rebooké sur un vol fantôme pour encore une fois gagner du temps et nous faire attendre. Ils auraient dit la vérité ca serait passsé beaucoup mieux"

Nadelen: "The airport doesn't provide gate information until they literally start boarding. People mad dash to find the gate. Very chaotic system. Keep your eyes peeled!"

Voordelen: "Liked games on plane"
Nadelen: "It was Areomexico but really it was Deta. My husband travels with oxygen so we did what Areomexico needed but not what Delta needed. We did have a doctor note so that saved us. When we got to Mexicothey sails our liggage was not there because we were in the wrong terminal. No one spoke English but it was there because we were on Delta. When we left almost went to wrong terminal. If it is Deltal call it delta not Aeromexico."

Nadelen: "Never made it."

Voordelen: "Everythingood was good. Great people."
Nadelen: "The boarding organization. Lack of communication with customers in order to get them organize."

Nadelen: "Déjeuner et café froid Pas d'oreiller pour s'appuyer, surtout pour un vol de nuit"

Voordelen: "Départ et arrivée à l’heure"
Nadelen: "Payer pour avoir la télé. Ne pas avoir de repas sur un vol de plus de 5 heures"

Nadelen: "Très étroit. Équipage peu sympathique"

Nadelen: "Je n'ai pas aimé être forcé d'acheter un billet de retour au québec lorsque je ne sais pas quel date je vais revenir. On ne me laissait pas prendre l'Avion sinon. L'information dites par l'employé cest avéré fausse, car une fois au Nicaragua on ne ma pas demande un billet de sortie. Une chance que j'Ai pu le canceller à l'intérieur de 24h. Sinon jai été satisfait du service."

Voordelen: "Good food, entertainment options, communication from pilot"
Nadelen: "none of the flight attendants seemed to be friendly- literally all of them were neutral or slightly rude at best. Not impressed."

Voordelen: "Flight was on time and fantastic!"
Nadelen: "They tried to keep changing it on us!!!"

Nadelen: "Je suis arrivé 13 minutes avant le decolage et lequipage na pas voulu me laisser monter dans lavion. J'ai du prendre un vol trois heures plus tard pour fort lauderdale alors que mon pere etait hospitalisé a miami. Personnel tres peu comprehensif une femme a même rit de moi lorsque j'ai dit que mon père avait eu un accident. Cependant le vol etait etait avec air canada et non united"

Voordelen: "- The plane was ultra modern and extremely comfortable (and not full). - We did a Washington-Paris in less than 6 hours. Tail winds helped, but also the timeliness of the process (boarding, baggage recuperation, etc). - Food was excellent although not a lot (the General Tso Chicken was very very nice, the icecream as dessert was good) - Great movie selection"
Nadelen: "- Breakfast was so so. - Free headphones offered are not great. - Not much, all the rest was good!"

Voordelen: "indulged by the service and plenty of food"

Nadelen: "Carte d'embarquement remise par Brussels Airlines à Marseille non valable à l'embarquement! Nouveau gros coup de stress dont je me serais bien passée. Visiblement, il y a des gros problèmes informatiques enrtre Air Canada et Brussels Airlines"

Voordelen: "This flight was a good value."
Nadelen: "My legs are short and the seat seemed a little higher than other plans. I couldn't rest my feet flat on the floor for 6 1/2 hours. This was very uncomfortable."

Voordelen: "Beyond one or two friendly crew members, not much."
Nadelen: "We booked our flights round trip on united.com, but when we arrived at the airport for our return flight from Budapest to D.C., we were told we were on standby and might not be given seats (despite paying full price for the fare months ago). Brussels Airlines, the codeshare partner, blamed United. United blamed Brussels airlines. We are the flight, but my wife and I were seated separately. When I noticed several seats empty after the plane had finished boarding and asked the head flight attendant if my wife and I might not together, she refused, saying they weren't going to give us a free upgrade. When we went to drop off our bags for the next leg of the flight, from Brussels to Dulles, the bag check counters we're severely understaffed and we waited almost an hour just to drop off two suitcases. This made us nearly miss our flight and required us to sprint through the airport and beg to cut the security line. After boarding, my entertainment screen stopped working, though they did manage to fix it a couple of hours into the flight. Needless to say, this was less then a stellar experience."

Nadelen: "food"

Nadelen: "2 hours late. No food included no device for movies and my carry on was checked in"

Voordelen: "Je n ai jamais pris air canada ni à l aller ni au retour . Les avions ont été annulés , je n ai pas été prévenu et ils m ont mis sur d autres compagnies . Un enfer"

Voordelen: "Crew. Entertainment. Food. Leg room was a bit longer than usual."
Nadelen: "I was unable to pre-order a kosher meal through the web site. Customer service could barely write in legible English and in essence told me to take a hike. Flight was bumpy both ways for quite a while. What's the point of giving me a boarding pass in Tel Aviv if I need to go to the United transfer counter in Brussels and go through the process again, including a TSA (friendly) interrogation?"

Voordelen: "Friendly crew, decent food, good entertainment options to make the flight feel shorter."

Nadelen: "United Airlines portion of the flight from Brussels to IAD. My wife and I were seated in separate parts of the plane each in middle seats at the end of the boarding process when there was no longer any overhead room to store our belongings. Uncaring, unaccommodating crew, waiting area with not enough seats, and cramped seating on the plane with no possibility of sleep during an arduous seven hour flight."

Voordelen: "Excellent service and a safe flight."

Voordelen: "the crew was great, flight was not overcrowded - smooth sailing the entire flight."

Voordelen: "Smooth and seamless travel, great seats and punctual departure and arrival."

Nadelen: "Tout le monde a eu trop froid Quant au repas servi, un paquet de 30g de biscuits apéritif c est inadmissible, nous n avions pas diner ."

Nadelen: "On nous facture 200$ pour des bagages qui n arrivent pas à destination, et que personne ne localise au même endroit, on nois a laissé sans solution pour les affaires que nous avons du remplacer à nos frais. De plus, une fois livrée, on ne nous previens pas ( dépose à l hôtel sans signature) je n ai pas pu faire constater qu on m a abimé mon vélo pendant le trajet"

Voordelen: "Le fait que ce vol soit opéré par Air Canada"
Nadelen: "Le vol annulé pour cause do'rages, alors que d'autres avions décollait, et qu'aucune compensation, ni solution soit trouvé pour compenser. Cette expérience est juste inimaginable !"

Voordelen: "We were upgraded to business class. Everything was excellent! Seats were extremely comfortable. Flight attendants took great care of us!"

Voordelen: "Noisy intrusive spoiled crying screaming kids kicking seats shaking rattles and crew was helpless"

Nadelen: "poor food no special care for kids as by other companies no entertainment system available"

Nadelen: "Even though I have an account with United, and confirmed that I was a vegetarian both online, and on the flight heading to Europe, my meal wasn't entered. It worked out really well because I was sitting close to the front and they had pasta dishes available, but this is not the first time that United and its partners have "lost" or "mishandled" my vegetarian registration. The flight attendant even remarked that sadly, she hears this 'complaint' constantly. The food was good, but there's no reason that my meal request can't stay in the system."

Voordelen: "Personnel dans l'ensemble très agréable, enregistrement des bagages très simple et personnel aidant"
Nadelen: "Personnel juste avant l'embarquement très désagréable et hautain avec une autre famille, une attitude plus courtoise aurait été plus professionnelle et nettement plus adaptée"

Voordelen: "Flight attendants were nice."
Nadelen: "We weren't happy about not being able to pick our seats before hand. Very frustrating not knowing if we had sets or not when checking in at the airport."

Voordelen: "Professional, courteous flight crew. Uneventful flight. When flying at 37000 feet over an ocean, uneventful is a very good thing! :) Deboarding on arrival was quick and efficient."
Nadelen: "My headphone jack in the seat was broken but they offered to relocate me to a seat that worked. I stayed put and used the United app on my phone."

Voordelen: "Rien"
Nadelen: "Mêmes commentaires que pour le trajet IAD-IAH, a l'exception que l'enfant mineur à pu voyager dansce segment avec son père."

Voordelen: "Rien"
Nadelen: "Le fait que malgré que nous étions une famille de 4 personnes sous la même réservation et avec un enfant mineur (10 ans), nous avons été tout le temps séparés et le mineur à même du faire ce trajet toute seule avec 2 autres passagers inconnus à ses côtés. Inadmissible ! En plus, état de propreté des sièges laisse beaucoup à désirer. Finalement: nourriture payante + divertissement payant !"

Voordelen: "Sièges classe économique assez comfortable pour un long courrier."
Nadelen: "Etat de propreté de l'avion. Beaucoup de salissures dans et autour des sièges."

Voordelen: "Non stop to Cabo"
Nadelen: "Uncomfortable seating and leg room. $200 fee each way fro surfboards. Lost the surfboards on the way home."

Voordelen: "Flight and experience were great."
Nadelen: "I would expect when I book a Luftansa flight to fly in a Luftansa jet. This flight was carried by United and I did not know that until I arrived at the airport."

Nadelen: "I chose Luthansa because I was traveling with a bike and they are usually good about not overcharging however after booking the flight, United took over the flight and they have very unfriendly bike policies (200 each way). Usually I will not fly United because of these policies, I think I am done flying any Star Alliance companies."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "This was a mess as the attendants didn't not have my transfer ticket It took them for ever till the last minute when was called by the Microphone"
