I needed to ask more than three times to get water, again and again, I can't understand this behaviour at all. They treat you extremely bad unless you fly business with them. I felt uncomfortable and didn't like this behaviour at all."

Nadelen: "This is my fourth time booking Emirates for my route through kayak. The route is longer but I choose it for on-board Internet for work emails. Generally, they have on-board WiFi Internet, however for my return route of 21 hours both flights had no wifi which was disappointing. This is unprofessional because if you are planning on having WiFi to respond to work emails and it is not available once you are already in the air there is nothing you could do but get stuck. Never does this happen with Lufthansa, Turkish, Etihad. Disappointing."

Nadelen: "There was no leg room at all in economy. My knees were in the seat of the person in front of me. Most of the food was terrible and I only ate the bread. The TV is on the back of the seat in front of you and is a touch screen. You have to touch pretty hard. So, every time the person behind me was scrolling, they had to hit my seat. I couldn't sleep the entire 16 hours more than 30 minutes. I asked for water to take some medicine and was told it was 30 minutes til food service and to wait. It was over 2 hours before they started food service."

Voordelen: "Food, comfort, service all excellent! Hands down best 8+ hour flight experience vis-a-vis other airlines."
Nadelen: "While there was much in the way of options for entertainment, navigating the system & touch screen was a pain. Often the mouse doesn't follow your touch and you end up clicking things you didn't mean to click + having to press multiple times."

Nadelen: "Crew were rude, kept knocking customers. no vegan meal No drinks offered for majority of flight poor quality entertainment, screen didn't work properly."

Voordelen: "On our onward flight from Orlando to Dubai, the crew made sure the flight was always clean (specially the toilets - they really cleaned them up every 30 mins) Not so much on the same flight returning from Dubai to Orlando - toilets get wet and messy after about 5 hours and were never cleaned after."
Nadelen: "Overall, food and service were ok. I really didn't think Emirates did anything different in Econony class compared to other airlines (Air India)"

Voordelen: "Staff did their best and were polite but ultimately had no solution for the issue"
Nadelen: "I was unable to get an aisle seat therefore I was stuck in an middle seat. I am rather tall and the man on the window seat was morbidly obese and half of him was sitting on top of me for most of the flight. He also sweated all over me, snoredand snorted for the whole flight. I spent much of the flight standing and now have terrible leg oedema. It was the most uncomfortable flight I've ever been on. the flight was full so there were no reseating options apparently. It was extremely unpleasant."

Voordelen: "Food was really good and they accommodated my gluten free diet with ease. Great movies and tv shows to watch!"
Nadelen: "Couldn't get the internet to work...not sure if it was my phone or their service. Seats don't lean back much and there isn't as much legroom as some other airlines I've used. Hard to sleep."

Voordelen: "The FA that served my part of the cabin was polite, friendly, and cheerful."
Nadelen: "I had one piece of hand carried bag from when I boarded on the DC to Dubai leg. On this Dubai to Manila leg I was shocked to discover that the ground crew wanted all hand carried items weighed, and I mean ALL including things like travel pillows and duty free items. I was made to pay $88 for excess weight on the exact same bag I had with me on the first leg. Worse, the (I'm guessing) head of the ground crew gave random exceptions (for example someone had a thick copy of the Koran and some other item that were not weighed). My excess weight probably weighed less than that book. Many passengers ended up returning purchased duty free items and some even abandoned their bags. Upon getting past the initial gate the passengers were ferried by BUS to the plane. The bus ride took forever and of course, in the heat of the Dubai sun, the passengers were made to climb stairs carrying their "overweight" bags to board the plain."

Voordelen: "I love that I got a cute little bag filled with things like socks, eyemask, and ear plugs. Its just the little extra things that made it better"

Nadelen: "For three hours since takeoff we were not served any food or drinks. I was dehydrated and my sugar level had gone low. When they finally served us, they said they did not have a vegetarian meal inspite of my having ordered a hindu vegetarian meal. on creating a ruckus they managed to arrange a vegetarian meal"

Nadelen: "They need to work on the air quality inside the cabin. Maybe an air freshner?"

Nadelen: "Disembarking took to long waiting on business class to clear their area. Bottom seat cushions are to hard and flat had to put my cushion down to sit on."

Voordelen: "Unlike most reviewers, I never have a good experience with Emirates.However, Crew (this time) was very accommodating and did their best to make this a comfortable trip."
Nadelen: "Boarding was delayed about 45 minutes. We were called to board but left standing in the tunnel while ground crew cleaned. We began to taxi and people were still storing their luggage and walking around."

Il serai intéressant de demander, lors de l'enregistrement, si nous avons des préférences de siège. Tout va si vite que nous n'avons pas le temps d'y penser...et il est ensuite trop tard."

Nadelen: "We had issues with baggage. Delta was supposed to transfer 4 bags to Disney for Magic Express transportation. Only 3 went. Disney tried hard to fix problem, and even gave us something to ameliorate the situation. Delta took hard line, wasn't helpful and gave nothing. It took 2 days to find bag."

Nadelen: "Bought a brand new suitcase and Delta staff broke one of the wheels!"

Voordelen: "Every thing good"

Nadelen: "Boarding was rushed and the crew barely announced the sections. It took an incredibly long time to bard the longest that I have ever experienced and I couldn't point to any reason why."

Voordelen: "I like that Delta is efficient and the service is consistent. I pick Delta because I know what I’m going to get . I like that I can choose the entertainment I want and that everything is at my fingertips including flight info, food and beverage options, etc. it’s relatively comfortable but it’s not near the level of Virgin America or JetBlue."
Nadelen: "I’m not sure if it is due to LAX construction but it is chaotic at the airport. It is super confusing where you need to go, drop bags, etc. the weird part is Check in was in terminal 3 and gate at terminal 2. That is a long walk back and forth. There is probably a more efficient way of doing this. Besides that, they need to do a better job communicating that seats are changing and not Reggy before boarding. Though I can understand it can get crazy because people will panic but it’s not great heading up to enter in not knowing if you are sitting in window when you picked it for a reason. Otherwise, everything went smoothly."

Nadelen: "The boarding process is always horrible. Folks crowd the gate before their class is called. It creates anxiety and edginess. Never a good way to start a trip. While it always goes relatively quickly I feel it should be more organized and folks made to follow a system. Cramming right up against the ticket counter doesn't do anyone any good."

Nadelen: "This flight was the second leg on my trip from New York to Munich. Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Nadelen: "We booked these flights expecting Lufthansa. Little disappointed to learn they were Brussels airlines. Inflight entertainment options and meal options don't seem to be as good. Flight crew was pleasant and fine. After learning it was Brussels airlines I went through their check-in process for families and requested kid-friendly meals, but nothing came of it. Slightly disappointed."

Entertainment selections limited compared to other airlines in the trans-Atlantic market. Food bland, borderline edible. Cabin crew just going through the motions. Not at all friendly. Won't fly Lufthansa again."

THEY PAID FOR THE BAGGAGE BUT THEY DID NOT PAY FOR PART OF THE PERSONAL EFFECT BELONGING INSIDE THE BAGGAGE. THAT WAS ESTIMATED TO BE $500.00 ACCORDING TO MY REPORT THE DAY I ARRIVED AT ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Voordelen: "The chairs were the comfiest I've ever flown in!! Amazing"

Voordelen: "Attitude, attitude, attitude...when it's positive and customer friendly it shines...this depicts my experience on all of my Lufthansa flights concerning the cabin crew(s). Smiling faces genuinely concerned about the passenger experience aboard the aircraft. In contrast, on a previous International flight via a US based carrier...there too was lots of cabin crew attitude...but not the pleasant type."

Voordelen: "In terms of things I liked flying with UA998 from Brussels to EWR: The boarding staff at Brussels airport was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Boarding procedure was smooth even with the extra security screening at the gate."
Nadelen: "It was quickly clear to me that the passengers where simply an inconvenience to some of the crew on UA998. As an example I fell asleep during take off and woke up in the middle of the meal service. The cart was only a couple of rows behind me in the half-ful Economy Plus section so I got up and tried to get the attention of the staff. The lady turned around and confirmed that "I had woken up" with a sigh, as is not only was it inconvenient to her that I was a sleep, now I had the nerves to actually ask for a meal. She presented me with the options of pasta and chicken and I politely asked what they where served with. She straight out said that "she really did not know that" and asked me to make a choice. I wont get into any other examples, the machine was half full at best and there was no stress, so frustrating to be treated like you are an inconvenience to the USA based staff who clearly just wanted to be left alone. The entertainment system barely worked, the touch monitor was very hard to operate - the pressure sensitive functionality was not working properly but I managed to get to my movie and avoid the Chinese subtitles in the third try. I fly United because it's part of Star Alliance, but otherwise I would try and avoid at all cost."

Voordelen: "The food tasted really good and especially the bread was much more appealing than on our previous flight. The flight attendants were very efficient and attentive. I liked that they asked the person in front of me to put his seat up during the meal time. That helped me eat more comfortably. Entertainment options were extensive."
Nadelen: "Boarding was delayed and was tedious. It took forever because there was not an orderly line and just a jumble of people. We had to show our passports 3 different times between check in and boarding. People had put their passports away, then had to get them out again at the gate. That slowed everything down to a crawl. Our party was not accommodated when we asked for seats together. My husband and I were separated and we were separated from our kids. The ground crew did not seem to care. Take off was delayed, but the captain never told us why. The guy in front of me reclined his seat the whole time. I felt like a sardine in a can. So uncomfortable!"

Voordelen: "The flight was on time, staff attentive and made frequent rounds. The food was good and entertainment with a fair selection of options."
Nadelen: "Unfortunately, the day of my travel Lufthansa had a ongoing strike at the Frankfurt airport. The Lufthansa terminal was closed, luckily I was one of the few to get the bus shuttle. Once I arrived at the correct terminal the check in process and boarding was a pleasure, much friendly and competent staff to assist"

Voordelen: "Melanie/ticketing was superior in securing seats on a different departure. She endured many nervous travelers. The new itinerary matched our original time of arrival at ORD within 2 hours. :)"
Nadelen: "The free check-in of our carry on bags only dissapointed us when not arriving at ORD. We expect them to be delivered soon."

Nadelen: "Seating was entirely too cramped. It has gotten worse over the years but this Lufthansa flight reached a new height in discomfort. You cannot even eat nor put your seat back. I am a short person and it was miserable for me so I can only imagine how uncomfortable it is for persons of average height. The fees have become ridiculous. I now fly only when absolutely necessary. Sad that the customer comes last."

Voordelen: "Entertainment is great, although I did not use it much this flight"
Nadelen: "Seats were uncomfortable, tighter than I remember last time I flew Luft."

Nadelen: "Our flights from Budapest and Munich left late causing us to RUN from landed plane to boarding plane. Again over 65. and I was sick. Never again!!"

Voordelen: "I am 6 ft tall and the coach seats leave almost no leg room! and then the person in front of you lays back, if you are not claustrophobic, you will be!"

Voordelen: "Friendly staff"
Nadelen: "Entertainment was dated and poor in function. Our bags were 99 dollars each and we’re both lost and didn’t arrive. I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed 8 hours. Arriving at Incheon, discovered ground crew were unaware of our arrival to take this connecting flight. However, we were put up overnight in a hotel, which was nice."

Voordelen: "In Toronto werd ik aangesproken door een dame van KLM met de vraag hoe ik reisde, alleen of in groepsverband etc. Zij gaf aan dat ik gebruik kon maken van de lounge en dat er hulp aanwezig was om bagage in te checken bij de self check-in. Uitermate vriendelijke en behulpzame dame. Tijdens de vlucht was er zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam cabinepersoneel beschikbaar."

Nadelen: "Lang wachten bij de incheck"

Voordelen: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Voordelen: "Staff superb. They even surprised us with an exit row and a gift for my partners birthday! Amazing. Samantha and Dennis also took time to come and personally wish him a happy birthday. A lovely touch. This airline runs like clockwork. They are just great. The sandwich and stoop waffle are nice too."
Nadelen: "There is a bus to the plane, so that takes a bit of extra time but they are very well organized."

Voordelen: "Very efficient boarding, fast and professional but warm and friendly. The plane was very clean and quite spacious for a two by two configuration. On time departure and landing and smoothed processing at the other end."

Voordelen: "Overall, my trip to Cardiff via Amsterdam was smooth and delightful. I've flown a few short trips this summer and I was pleasantly surprised to find KLM still offered complimentary snacks. What a refreshing change!"
Nadelen: "There was no entertainment which is why I assigned that category only one star. The boarding process in Amsterdam could have been a bit smoother. Announcements were no clear."

Nadelen: "One and a half hour delay on a 50 minute flight. Flight was operated by Cityjet on behalf of KLM. Never have I seen such bad customer service: from rude people at the bagage drop off to incompetent hostesses at the boarding gate."

Voordelen: "The price was nice."
Nadelen: "Plane looked unkept on exterior. Crew was nice but lazy."

Voordelen: "Even for a 50 minute flight, drinks and sandwich was provided"

Voordelen: "Food was of a fairly high standard and so too was the entertainment. At least the Captain was honest in that he admitted KLM's baggage loading process was a mess and caused the delay."
Nadelen: "A baggage loading problem meant that all baggage needed to be offloaded and then re-loaded......this took 2 hours and then another 20 minute delay due to congestion with air traffic over France! Where were the cabin crew during the delay? They may have not been onboard given their lack of visibility during the delay. The only time they appeared was to distribute a cutlet of water and a packet of dry biscuits. Inflight, apart from the meal service routines, on this 13+ hour flight the crew were notable for not being visible."

Voordelen: "The service is very good.Crew is very nice and flight on time."

Voordelen: "The crew was very nice. The meal served in Business Class is nice."
Nadelen: "The flight leave late due to ATC restrictions. But we kept well informend. The aircrafr is full and have even in Business Class less legroom."

Voordelen: "Good movie selection?"
Nadelen: "I had to pay for extra luggage, because though I paid for an Economy Standard ticket which does come with checked-in baggage, there was nothing written on my ticket to prove it. I paid for the standard ticket ahead of time specifically. Although the staff were nice enough, for a struggling student, this mix-up was unacceptable. I now find myself making calls and trying to get in contact with both Kayak and Icelandair for a refund of the 88euro. I think I was particularly unlucky, because I was picked twice for special security checks, which pulled me out of the line I was waiting in while the flight was delayed, and I had to re-enter the line at the end. Though I requested window seats, I did not receive one either time (though I knew it wasn't guaranteed). There was also no overhead storage space for carry-ons overhead, so I had to make my way to the front of the plane to store my backpack, and several of those who came after me had to sit with their carry-ons on their lap. The seats were also pretty uncomfortable with a thick unadjustable headrest; and the air quality was terrible, a bit smelly and very dry. As a frequent flyer (who does fly with icelandair occasionally) this was unusual."

Voordelen: "Nothing good about this airline"
Nadelen: "Forget about comfortable experience during the flight. The way how they list the ticket from Kayak is the scam. Stated Economy class on Kayak and their own website ticket info. Once you chek in, they will stated this is the cheapest economy ticket, doesnt allow any baggage, and you have to pay I think around $150 for round trip baggage. End up with just to carry on, wouldnt able to shop in Europe. If you includ baggage flight would be similar to other airline provide baggage and quality services. Huge mistake, customer service located overseas, and dont care about customer."

Voordelen: "Got home safely"

Nadelen: "Baggage fees were horribly expensive."

Nadelen: "Never announced boarding, the sign at the gate said Boston (not Orlando) and the gate never announced that they were boarding. If I did not ask the gate, I would have missed the flight due to no announcements."

Voordelen: "Food was delicious! Plenty of leg room in economy class with comfortable seats."
Nadelen: "Board was chaotic. Gate area with seats was closed until half hour prior to boarding. We stood in line at the gate entrance over 45 minutes."

Voordelen: "Everything went okay for us on this flight. In the future, I will suggest to my wife, who books air travel for us to read the fine print. The cost to check a bag was $100.00 which would have run us $300.00 for the trip: Boston to Brussels with a layover in Reykjavik, but on the return Brussels to Reykjavik with four days in Iceland and the return to Boston, so there goes the cheap flight! I did enjoy the in-flight movie and a documentary on the return trip as well."
Nadelen: "My own earphones on the flight from Brussels to Iceland did not work. I could not plug them into the system."

Voordelen: "My exit aisle seat was just great, with no one on either side of me !!!!! Very kind airplane staff. I had a great sleep."

Voordelen: "Second time I have flown to Brussels with Iceland Air. I love their customer service and especially the flight route. My flight going over was cancelled due to weather. I called their reservation office , had to wait on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes , but it was worth it. The reservation agent found me a new flight on LH, she explained I would get a conformation about 3 hours after our conversation with the flight information and new txt information. I was able to check in with LH on line that evening. Iceland Air had every pre assigned seats for me."
Nadelen: "The boarding process in Kevlavik is pretty awful. No seating around gate areas. You have to stand in line for about 30 minutes to then have to get on shuttle to be driven to plane where you have to walk on stairs to get to plane, or in some cases you actually get to board from the terminal, which happened yesterday. I have MS,and sometimes standing for long periods of time and then having to climb up stairs is difficult for me. I also see a lot of elderly people and parents with babies having difficulty with this boarding process. Their airport really needs major expansion for the amount of people that travel thru their. Seating araes around their gates should be a priority."

Voordelen: "Good price and short layover. The plane was clean and comfortable."
Nadelen: "The boarding process in Reykjavik was chaotic. Food and entertainment available for PURCHASE."

Nadelen: "the waiting area in KEF airport is 1 floor below the assigned gate. No seats in front of the gate area. You will ride in a bus to your plane after the final boarding checked. During boarding the plane, no instructions to which door you will enter based on your seating number, so passengers in the back did enter thru the front of the plane and some front passenger enter thru the back."

Voordelen: "Boarding from the rear of the plan forward."
Nadelen: "Very few recent movie options"

Voordelen: "I liked that the pilot communicated with the passengers regarding when to expect the turbulence and the timing."
Nadelen: "i didn't like that my flight was delayed for 2 and a half hours and that I missed my flight from Boston to Slat Lake because of that delay. I had to wait in the airport overnight for the next flight next morning and the icelandic airline refused to give me a voucher for the hotel. They said that because i didn't book my flight to salt lake on the same ticket, I am not qualified for the hotel."

Voordelen: "Decent legroom, USB port in every seat"
Nadelen: "All the food is paid for, unaccustomed for a long haul flight. My Map Channel was not working, so I called the flight attendant and she told me "no problem, we are flying to Orlando" and did not make any effort to correct the problem."

Voordelen: "People could spread out on the plane!"
Nadelen: "No meals served for free on board"

Voordelen: "Quick layovers."
Nadelen: "Seats are tight and uncomfortable. Way too hot on the plane until flight took off. Movie selection is poor."

Voordelen: "Although Icelandair is a budget airline and certain amenities must be purchased, I like the professional and friendly service. The staff maintains a European formality, not a loose friendliness one often encounters in the US, that makes their service graceful and attractive. It is also nice to enjoy a flight without constant announcements and overdone commentary. Finally, it is amazing that this company has a boarding process that gets everyone on the plane in a very short time. With only two types of class, no special advanced boarding or privileged groups and no boarding by sections or rows, passengers manage to board and get seated faster than any American carrier that I know."

I have no interest at this current time to buy a new suitcase because I have no intentions to travel any time soon. I believe that I should get a refund for the damage without having to go out and buy myself a new suitcase immediately."

Voordelen: "Best thing is they got me another flight for no extra cost when the one I had was canceled. Not the best flight but for the price I would definitely fly again! Very small and easy airport to get through and everyone is very friendly. They come around multiple times offering free drinks and food for purchase. I really enjoyed the flights. Good shows and movies for entertainment."
