Nadelen: "Retard de l'avion ( 3-4 vols différents). Perte de mes bagages qui à entraîner un déplacement pour rien à l'étranger pour le travail vu que je n'avais pas le matériel de travail avec moi. Nous faire monter dans l'avion, rouler sur le tarmac, après 30 min de prise de retard sur le départ, nous annoncer qu'on retourner à l'aéroport et qu'il fallait changer d'avion pour problèmes techniques. Pour nous annuler complètement Le vol! Nous faire descendre de l'avion, devoir aller se trouver un autre vol, aller recuperer la valise, retourner l'enregistrer, et retourner à la sécurité tous ça avec une amabilité digne de la froideur allemande! Auncuns repas ou autre bois a été offert au moin pour s'excuser. Après avoir eu tous ces problèmes avec la même compagnie j'ai contacter à plusieurs reprises le service client qui m'a raccrocher au nez! On m'a dit qu'on me remboursait Le vol. Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

However, this international flight only had american plugs so anyone without an adapter was SOL. I tried to watch the large screen at the front of my section but they showed the movie Lion that is in Hindi and therefore had subtitles and I couldn't read the words from 12 rows back. The boarded process is like a cattle call. DO NOT FLY UNITED!!! I thought I was flying Lufthansa but it was a bait and switch situation."

Nadelen: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Nadelen: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

We were allowed a cabin bag and a small hand-bag in the flight but as we were among the last half of the passengers to board the flight we couldn't find anywhere to keep our luggage and the crew had to take them away from us to store them somewhere at the back far away from our seats. As a result we had to wait until all the passengers got off the plane to get back our luggage and we were the last two passengers to get off. Unpleasant!"

Nadelen: "It was raining in Prague so I can understand that luggage is going to get wet. But when we opened our luggage at least half of our clothes were wet. It would seem that the luggage sat out for quite a while prior to departure for that much soaking of clothes. Fortunately we are staying in Paris for a few days and can get our clothes dried out."
Nadelen: "I was forced to rebook my 3rd leg after taking trains in the middle."
Nadelen: "Meal choice missing kosher non-gluten combination."
Voordelen: "Seats were comfortable, but the sliding action, instead of recline, took getting used to. Food was very good. Snacks available on demand, along with drinks. Complimentary wine with meal was also quite good. Entertainment system was first rate with plenty of options for TV. movies, music, games, etc..."
Nadelen: "Sitting in the middle two seats in the center of the 777 left me stuck for most of the flight. Got up only once. Wife's feet and ankles were swollen by the end of the flight. Not enough legroom to move much during the flight and not enough aisle space to get around with the plane so full. Have made flights twice as long on the 747 and were able to get up and walk."

Nadelen: "There was a delay due to technical dificulties in previous flight. This caused a delay in take off and no AC while waiting in the plane for 40 minutes."
Nadelen: "We tried to check our bags through Charles DeGaulle onto our connecting Air Canada flight and the agent refused to even discuss it. Pretty bad service."
Voordelen: "After riding in premium economy for the 8 hour flight we had, this one wasn't the same. No tvs, way less leg room, we were able to have a window seat which was great for my sister since before we didn't have the window seat option. The snack was good also."

Nadelen: "Ground attendants forced us to check standard roller board suitcases to save space but there was plenty on plane and they were nice about it at first till you said not then they became particularly nasty about it. Very uncomfortable seats and not leg room."
Voordelen: "The flight attendants were so funny, uplifting, friendly, and willing to help that it turned the flight into an alternative experience."
Nadelen: "The seat, food, and movie selection don't apply to what a premium flight promesses. 370 eiro upgrade is way too expensive for only a little difference. I took premium two years ago and there was a real difference, but now they cut food and movie experience to half it was."

Voordelen: "The efficiency and helpfulness of the staff who got us on the next available flight after the one we missed due to the long wait at customs."
Voordelen: "Codeshare flight. operated by Flybe. Got the job done with no fuss. This was a business booking, and I had a snack and drinks voucher included. I used these to get some tomato juice, which was good and a snack box, which contained a small piece of yoghurt bar, crackers, cheese, some nuts, dried fruit, a single mentos, and something else I can't remember. It was alright."
Nadelen: "The food and drink voucher system was a source of confusion for a number of other customers, including a pair who had booked through the same agency, but one seemed to get a voucher and the other did not. I realise that this is not the fault of the crew, but Flybe should ensure that their agents are clearer with what bookings include."
Voordelen: "flight was cancelled due to mechanical reasons, had to rebook in other flight company code sharing with Air France, than - nightmare happened - luggage has been lost for 3 days. therefore, enormous issus and problem to find luggages and to claim the ridicolous compensation to urgent needs"

They first delayed it 1 1/2 hours and then another 30 minutes every half hour. The airline/crew never even acknowledged the delay or apologized for it."

Nadelen: "There are no blue US custom declaration forms on the flight anymore. Many people cannot access the automatic kiosks, and I wish we could still have access to the forms while on the plane. It is stressful to have to do it after landing, with no real place to write. The flights were both fine, but the layover in DFW was a nightmare. Thankfully we landed 30 min early, but we only made our connection with a few minutes the spare. We ran through the airport, and had to ask many people if we could go ahead of them at the security. We didn't have time to use the bathroom and buy water/food. I understand this is not the airline's fault, but I would recommend extending the minimum connection time at this airport."

Nadelen: "The aisles are too narrow. As passengers are boarding and you sit in the aisles you are constantly struck. FAA should investigate with the decreased aisle width and distance between the seats, can the evacuation be completed within required time, in an actual emergency. American Airlines is endangering the lives of passengers. And the cramped conditions are contributing to the hostile actions of some passengers. What does it take to do what is right?"
Voordelen: "They were able to arrange for a seat for my daughter who was technically a lap child. The crew were courteous and helpful. The flight arrived early."
Nadelen: "Very late"

Nadelen: "The space in Economy is not humane! And I am a slim 15 pd woman! Food is the cheapest. No headphones offered. Pathetic pillow. Service is minimal. All AA does is get you from A to B. Really doesn't care about the experience AT ALL."

Nadelen: "From the get go it was an awful experience ... I travel with an emotional support animal as does my husband because we don't do well with flying. I have anxiety to the max about it & my husband gets ulcerative colitis flare ups any time he's stressed out which is usually while we fly and having our dogs with us turkey makes us feel better. When I called to tell them over the phone we would have our emotional support animal I got an attitude as if I hadn't been doing this for the last 4 years. She reiterated to me that we needed in addition to the letterhead from the doctor a form filled out (which we both did ) . Brought to the airport and sit had to sit at the counter like the girl didn't know what she was doing. Fast forward to finally getting to the gate after being stressed and our flight was delayed. This now only made our 50 min layover in DC 20 min by the time we landed. We ran from one gate to the next hoping we wouldn't miss our flight and when we got there they wouldn't let us on the plane saying things like "your dogs are not on this flight" "there is no documentation" "well then you must not have the right paperwork" ... in front of a bunch of people in line, out of breath, and now embarrassed I am forced to take out my folder and give them all the paperwork I had just given to the customer service desk before our first flight. They let everyone on the plane and still made us stand there and finally said "just go but your dogs aren't on this flight". Fast forward AGAIN to sitting on the flight the flight attendant comes over and says "guys where's you carrier the dogs need to be under the seats" .. we peoceeded again to explain for the seventh time that they were emotional support animals ... she then proceeded "no they are not they are not even listed on this flight" at this point I'm EXTREMLY embarrassed because people on the plane are paying attention and drawing attention to us but not only that ... I have been doing this for years .. I ALWAYS have the proper documentation as does my husband and we have never ran into this kind of disappointment and embarrassment from any airline until now. I was so stressed out to begin with and this deffinately didn't help ... nor did it make us wants to fly on American again. I felt pushed aside, embarrassed, and belittled by multiples employees ... all because the first employee clearly made a mistake and didn't document things correctly ... that should have never been put on us ."

Voordelen: "FAs were so pleasant, so different than usual, that it reminded me of the good old days. They were also more attentive than usual."
Nadelen: "AA's domestic IFE product is generally an embarrassment - they seem to think it's still 1995. No choices in first class? Come on... Pleasantness of the FAs more than made up for this."

For example, they knew three flights would land at a certain time ( at the time they were scheduled to arrive) and then somehow the ground crew was surprised."
Nadelen: "That you guys didn't tell any info about visa to travel to Paris. They didn't let us in."
Voordelen: "Cabin crew was pleasant and personable."
Nadelen: "Flight was canceled. No preparation. Took three hours to speak to agent, by which time all flights out that day had left or were full. Terrible meal provided the night if cancelation. On flight, meals were poor. No personal in-flight entertainment and movies shown were older. All around terrible flying experience"

Nadelen: "Rouge legroom has gotten to the point of being dismal. The seats are thin and uncomfortable - don't even try reclining though, or you'll be in the face of the person behind you. I buy flight passes which are good on Air Canada as well but Air Canada has taken away all the non- Rouge flights and I am left with no choice. On a 5pm flight out of Toronto, all the hot food choices were gone by the time they were 8 rows into food and beverage service. I'm seriously thinking of moving my loyalty status to West Jet. If only they had flight passes."

This should be a no stress way to fly. Just sayin"
Voordelen: "I never got in my flight home for my aunts funeral and to get back to work because nothing on your website warned or notified me that I needed a visa just for a connecting flight on Air Canada so not only did I lose my money I was denied my flight denied the chance to be at my aunts funeral and get back to work. So my honest opinion is that I am extremely disappointed and deeply saddened by this evtire ordeal now I have to spend more money to purchase another ticket with another airline to go home. Nadelen: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"
Voordelen: "Entertainment on this flight was comparatively better than the flight we took from LAX to Toronto...Snacks was also better on this flight than the LAX to Toronto flight which really confuses me as to why?"
Nadelen: "The wait time though for our flight was 6 hours and there were 2 or 3 other earlier flights to LAX that day.."

Nadelen: "Airport was empty, plane was empty. But still had to wait to get on due to filled with people who put suitcases away that sat near front but not first class."
Voordelen: "Onboard service staff were very good."
Nadelen: "Flight was one and a half hours late leaving."
Voordelen: "We loved watching the movie "Keanu" together on the rented iPad. The soundtrack was hard to hear on the earbuds though."
Nadelen: "As expected with Air Canada, the service is awful with bitchy stewardesses, the food is poor, the plane is falling apart. Midway through the flight, the plane looked like a pigsty with garbage everywhere. When serving the meals, the stewardess just said to everyone, "You want it or not" and moved quickly with many people wondering why she was behaving so rudely. In addition, we couldn't get clear information about the baggage allowance. This is partially due to booking through Kayak where they don't tell you the baggage limit and some of the flights were code share flights even though all were with Air Canada. Couldn't tell if we had 1 or 2 bags included. This didn't help with our packing. In the end we had 2 bags and wish we bought more stuff."

Nadelen: "The flight from Toronto to Washington DC was delayed for more than 3 hours and there was not even a drink offered for the inconvenience."

Nadelen: "Sometimes, Air Canada WASN'T any help in rescheduling! Can't get ANY help on-line, and finally made a two hour long distance call from Istanbul to the Canadian "Help Desk," with most of that time on "hold." (Similar to my time on "hold" when making other calls there!) London Heathrow Air Canada service desk was a GREAT HELP, however - once we got there."
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed nearly two hours. Gate signs were never updated. 7 gate attendants spent 1.5 hrs standing at the gate talking laughing and joking amoungst themselves. They appeared annoyed when anyone asked for an update. They finally announced they were waiting for a wheelchair to unload a passenger from the previous flight. They announced they were ready to board zone 1 and 2 and then did nothing for another 25 minutes. Funny when we finally boarded nobody ever saw a wheelchair go on or off the plane. Understand that flights are delayed but no updates or explanations and a gate crew that seemed annoyed that the passengers were disrupting their social time was unacceptable."
Nadelen: "Same as above. everything was bad. from service and communication."
Voordelen: "I bought Business Class because the rate was very competitive. Seat was comfortable enough. Flight departed nearly an hour late, but arrived early at the destination, which helped."
Nadelen: "The flight attendants in first class honestly seemed overworked and had no time for anyone. A request for a mixed whiskey beverage brought a Diet Coke instead. The attendant didn't seem to care at all when the mistake was pointed out, nor did she fix it. Snacks and drinks were essentially flung at us with the care of throwing slop at farm animals. Which pretty much describes the quality of the meal."

Voordelen: "The Boeing airplane was either new or upgraded with plenty of in flight entertainment. In addition it was clean and fresh. The seats seemed to have more legroom than some I have flown. I could actually use my notebook on the tray stand. I was traveling on the same plane with my wife but we could only get separate seats. I decided to ask before boarding if they could put us together for such a long flight and they took my boarding pass and actually tried. The lady I checked in with was extremely gracious. She passed our info along to the head attendant on the flight who came and found us and told us she had found seats together. We had already done some seat switching with the kind people around us and managed to get together. The head attendant was happy for us."
Nadelen: "Long flight, when we got close to Tel Aviv, a guy attendant who wasn't on my side yelled at me from the other ailse and scolded me for not being locked in 30 minutes ahead of time and threatened to write me up. He was red faced. The head flight attendant made a call over the intercom, I jumped up and started stowing my computer and he comes by 30 seconds later and literally yelled across the plane. He must have had to clean a bathroom up that someone let loose in. I looked on the flight time register on the screen when I was locked in and we were 35 minutes out. Not quite a rule breaker was I."
Voordelen: "Flights were all on time, crew and staff was very nice. Food was better then other flights I've been on."
Nadelen: "Seats were so uncomfortable, smaller and did not recline as much as other air canada airplanes I have been on. There was no entertainment for the almost 7 hour flight unless you uploaded the app prior to boarding which we were not told and could not because our devices, or you rented a tablet (which for this long of a flight it shold be included). The cabin was warm and stuffy with not much airflow which made my motionsickness worse and the plane was all on one setting so I could not control anything."

Voordelen: "Comfy seat, good food, great attentive service and wonderful safe take offs and landings! Also we received extra treats for their inaugural flight from Brussels to Toronto."
Nadelen: "Flight delayed after boarding for 2 1/2 hours. Gate agent was condescending. Gate agent trapped us behind hate when trying to leave delayed flight to catch another leaving on time. They weren't accommodating to providing a refund or better flight. Worst airline experience I've ever had."
Nadelen: "The crew stayed at the back of the plane and we could clearly hear them talking about things other than work. Meanwhile they could have been providing a bit more service to the passengers."

Voordelen: "The crew was very helpful, I had a layover in Toronto. My flight was for 1830, however there was a 1720 flight which I once mostly boarded I asked if I could get onto and the check in agent was very kind and accommodated my request. Many airlines and businesses in general do not exercise this kind of discretion, so it was very much appreciated!"
Voordelen: "There wasn't any aspect of this flight not too like."
Nadelen: "Nothing to dislike. I loved every detail of this trip."
Voordelen: "They boarded by row number rather than zone which eliminated the made scramble and made the boarding enjoyable with much less stress."
