Nadelen: "Checking in was so in-efficient. We had to visit the machine and 3 desks to be able to check-in. The entertainment screens on the planes were so unresponsive that it was a feat of patience to be able to choose anything."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed for nearly 5 hours. There was no accommodations for the delay, except for apologies. Very limited snacks were provided, but this huge delay cut into our reservations and vacation in our resort."

Nadelen: "Being stuck on the plane for 2 1/2 hours They lost my luggage that was checked in as being on the belt but it never came down!!! They never found it and I was standing in front when the first bag came down until the last my bag never came down!"

Nadelen: "The airport was super crowded and the space in the plane was cramped (and I am a small person - 120 pounds). The plane was not clean and I actually picked up a virus on the plane and am still sick. I wiped down all of the surface area around my seat and still got sick. Airline travel is miserable and crowded and there is minimum service."

Nadelen: "Bruyant,sièges vétustes et cassés. Pas de video individuelles. Gavé durant tout le vol avec de la nourriture infecte. Pas possibilité de dormir sur ce vol transatlantique. Bagage en soute HS à la réception, réclamation."

Nadelen: "Enregistrement très long, c'est simple le passager fait tout, récupérer sa carte d'embarquement, mettre l'étiquette sur sa valise, tout cela a partir d'automates dont la moitié ne fonctionnent pas. Le vol sur un Boeing qui a bien vécu, le modèle avec les ecran accroché au plafond de l'avion et ou tout le monde regarde le même film,"

Nadelen: "Showed up 29 minutes before my earlier flight and was evicted. It took 7 hours to get on another one. Then that flight was delayed an hour due to the A/C not working. Frequent business traveler going to avoid AA at all costs from now on."

Nadelen: "8h de retard dû à un avion défectueux, la météo, un changement de pilote, un changement d'équipage.... On a dû attendre en tout au moins 3-4h assis dans l'avion tout en ayant peu de détails sur la situation..."

Voordelen: "Mon vole de Charlot a New York était en retard de presque 1h. Cela ma cause de rater mon vol international avec Tourkish. En plus de toute la fatigue de passe une nuit dans des conditions très difficile, j'ai payer une pénalité de près de 700 dollars USA pour un autre billet plus d'autres frais divers en nourriture et en communication. Le plus difficile pour moi est que votre personnel a New York était insensible a mes problèmes."

Nadelen: "They lied to us in the pieces of luggage free of charge in international flights (asked at the phone), and charged us $25.00 per each piece of luggage."

On flight, meals were poor. No personal in-flight entertainment and movies shown were older. All around terrible flying experience"

Nadelen: "Being held up for more than an hour while they tried to figure out if certain passengers were going to board or not; when they decided not to let them on board, then their luggage had to be removed from the flight. LONG DELAY and I missed my connection in Montreal, had to spend the night and had to argue with them to get them o pay for hotel. Ground staff in Montreal were wonderful, especially Antonella, but the whole experience was VERY stressful."

Voordelen: "Liked having the seat next to me empty on the fight back."
Nadelen: "I did not like paying for picking my seat. Back in the day if you booked your ticket you got to pick your seat, like first come first serve, without paying for it. Now, if you want to guarantee a window seat you have to pay for it. I only did it because my mom advised me to. And I did so because I always listen and respect her advice. It made for a good experience because i like looking out the window. However,I did not appreciate having to pay for it. I believe that since we incur a plethora of microcharges for everything on the plane ticket that it should include picking your own seat without a separate charge. It is likely a matter of time before we will be charged extra for salt on our pretzels."

Voordelen: "Très bon vol , personnel courtois et attentionné. Nourriture excellente"

Voordelen: "The fact that there were several vacant seats helped with finding room to stretch out."
Nadelen: "Nothing in particular."

Voordelen: "Autant j'apprécie quand les agents de bord tente de dire quelques mots en français même s'ils ne sont pas totalement bilingue, un essai est toujours mieux qu'un refus. J'ai vu un client qui parlait en français et l'agente dans ce cas ci s'efforçait de lui répondre et parlé en français. Il s'agissait d'un vol de Québec à Montréal, il ne s'agissait pas d'un vol St-John's à Halifax. Autrement le service est bien et les agentes sont gentilles. Air Canada doit mieux faire à ce niveau."

Voordelen: "La possibilité de louer des Ipad pour écouter des films. Le prix était raisonnable."
Nadelen: "Le prix de la nourriture a bord était très chère pour la qualité. L'application de divertissement ne fonctionnait pas sur mon téléphone personnel. La sélection de film et d'émissions était plus important sur le IPad loué que sur l'application. Donc, si on veut écouter des nouveautés il faut absolument louer le iPad."

Nadelen: "Unhelpful crew,dreadful status updates about our delay, not enough food on board for everybody"

Nadelen: "Il n'y avait aucun divertissement. Aucun repas n'a été servi non plus malgré un vol de plus de 5h30. Cela a pris 2 heures avant qu'on nous offre quelque chose à boire. La moitié du personnel était bête et désagréable. Une des pires compagnies avec laquelle j'ai voyagé."

Nadelen: "On voyageait avec un bébé et nous n'avons pas eu droit à un embarquement prioritaire. Nous avions le nombre de bagages de cabine prescrit, mais on voulait nous en faire enregistrer pour manque de place dans l'avion. Serieux! Un bébé de 7 mois pour un vol de 13h tu veux qu'il aille tout ce qu'il faut pour ne pas pleurer! Malgré le prix payé pour le bébé il ny avait même pas de repas compris. Le service était difficile, les repas pas bons. J'ai des allergies et je n'ai pas pu rien manger, car leur système n'avait pas pu les enregistrer. Encore une fois pour un vol de 13h c'est inacceptable. Je ne recommande pas Air Canada. Prenez ANA ou Japan Airlines si vous allez au Japon."

Voordelen: "Plane left on time, smooth flight, arrived on schedule."
Nadelen: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"

Voordelen: "Dans l'avion c'était correct. Je voyage souvent donc je suis habituée."
Nadelen: "J'avais ma carte d'embarquement depuis des heures mais sans siège. Lorsque j'ai approché la personne s'occupant de l'embarquement elle était froide et sans personnalité. Elle nous a dit d'aller nous asseoir (toutes les personnes n'ayant pas de siège). Pas sympa du tout. J'ai finalement eu un siège 2 minutes avant l'embarquement et j'étais bien stressée à l'idée de ne pas pouvoir monter dans l'avion. L'avion était aussi en retard. Vous vendez plus de billets que le nombre de places et cela ne devrait pas se faire. Vraiment frustré par ce dernier vol."

Voordelen: "Staff was professional and courteous. The staff was helpful but were too busy dealing with the full plane load of passengers."
Nadelen: "Crowded middle seat that was uncomfortable to sit in. Sat next to severely overweight person, who needed two seas to be comfortable. I was squished. The seat belt was tangled up and I could not fix it to adjust it. Bell to call flight attendant was not working. The middle light bulb was burnt out. Took my book to read on this long flight but could not read. just sat in the dark when the lights went out. Boarding the plane seemed like planned chaos! No one (passengers) listened to instructions and these were poor given by those responsible to oversee the boarding the plane. Fight was delayed for half an hour with people coming on at such late time. Had to change seats to accommodate others - family with children. Dealing with disembarkation should be better and much too long. Those with connecting flights should leave first and can be identified earlier to prevent cheating. Those with children should be next. Those in the aisle seats then leave, followed by those in the middle and window seats. Loading the plane after the business class or first class should be according to seat number from the back of the plane to the front. this completely random boarding boarding clogs up the aisle with passengers and luggage. I thought in an emergency this plane would not be efficiently evacuated. You can call me Seelochan Beharry 604-261-6690"

Nadelen: "Plane sat on Tarmac for 45 mins Flight attendant was busy chatting personal matters non-stop and was loud, when passengers were totally annoyed from waiting 45 mins to deplane"

Voordelen: "The idea of READ BOOKS via the in-plane entertainment system. Very limited book choices so not of interest, and often interrupted as the system kept dropping. Great opportunity though to expand Vs boring and mindless TV shows and low rated straight to video view movies."
Nadelen: "Delayed, food (best not to touch), seat PC power charge plugs didn't work, was NOT allowed to use wireless PC mouse !!! (1st ever in 20 years of off-line PC use to work on planes), the seats were old and smelled, the in-plane access to movies plug-in didn't work, the TV shows kept disconnecting, crew had no idea how to correct, Montreal airport was dirty and poorly maintained, the one restaurant with service had the worst food I ever ate with promised internet access and PC / Phone charging facilities NOT working. Amazing stuff !!. So awful it now seems funny !...Almost missed my days in and out Sanaa Airport in Yemen with Yemen Air !!!"

Voordelen: "Their was a two hour delay, the planes cabin was at about 55-60 degrees and due to bumpy ride...service was delayed (obviously not the fault of anyone). Just overall, uncomfortable experience!"

Nadelen: "Over 3 hours late. New plane had to come pick us up. Bad estimate of delay that kept being extended. Fourty minutes on tarmak waiting for takeoff."

Nadelen: "L'attente de pratiquement 2 heure dans lavion parce que une piece dans le poste de pilotage ne fonctionnait pas et ensuite un telephone d'agent de bord be fonctionnant pas nous à fait décoller en retard et nous avons attendu tout ce temps dans lavion. Je ne comprend pas qu'une grosse compagnie comme air Canada est des laquer comme Ca et que ce soit le client qui écope"

Nadelen: "The flight attendants on this flight did NOT do their job. If they are there to ensure a safe environment for the people on board, they completely missed the boat. I was in row 45. Two families were on board with their 4 very young children. For the entire 8 hour flight, 3 of these children disrupted the entire section of the plane. They continuously played in the aisles, stood in the seats, kept their seat belts unbuckled, threw objects, and one blasted his iPad at maximum volume. When I asked one flight attendant to ask the family to get the child to lower the volume on his iPad (it was 4am; people were either using their ear buds, or had their screens turned off), they complied with the request for 30 minutes, then resumed at full throttle. I can honestly say, it was one of the worst flights I have ever experienced in 57 years."

Voordelen: "Again, I felt we had excellent service. It was a small plane and one steward, and she did everything!"

Nadelen: "Le système vidéo était dépassé et défectueux."

Nadelen: "Je n'ai pas aimé être forcé d'acheter un billet de retour au québec lorsque je ne sais pas quel date je vais revenir. On ne me laissait pas prendre l'Avion sinon. L'information dites par l'employé cest avéré fausse, car une fois au Nicaragua on ne ma pas demande un billet de sortie. Une chance que j'Ai pu le canceller à l'intérieur de 24h. Sinon jai été satisfait du service."

Voordelen: "Good food, entertainment options, communication from pilot"
Nadelen: "none of the flight attendants seemed to be friendly- literally all of them were neutral or slightly rude at best. Not impressed."

Nadelen: "Je suis arrivé 13 minutes avant le decolage et lequipage na pas voulu me laisser monter dans lavion. J'ai du prendre un vol trois heures plus tard pour fort lauderdale alors que mon pere etait hospitalisé a miami. Personnel tres peu comprehensif une femme a même rit de moi lorsque j'ai dit que mon père avait eu un accident. Cependant le vol etait etait avec air canada et non united"

Voordelen: "- The plane was ultra modern and extremely comfortable (and not full). - We did a Washington-Paris in less than 6 hours. Tail winds helped, but also the timeliness of the process (boarding, baggage recuperation, etc). - Food was excellent although not a lot (the General Tso Chicken was very very nice, the icecream as dessert was good) - Great movie selection"
Nadelen: "- Breakfast was so so. - Free headphones offered are not great. - Not much, all the rest was good!"

Voordelen: "This flight was a good value."
Nadelen: "My legs are short and the seat seemed a little higher than other plans. I couldn't rest my feet flat on the floor for 6 1/2 hours. This was very uncomfortable."

Voordelen: "Beyond one or two friendly crew members, not much."
Nadelen: "We booked our flights round trip on united.com, but when we arrived at the airport for our return flight from Budapest to D.C., we were told we were on standby and might not be given seats (despite paying full price for the fare months ago). Brussels Airlines, the codeshare partner, blamed United. United blamed Brussels airlines. We are the flight, but my wife and I were seated separately. When I noticed several seats empty after the plane had finished boarding and asked the head flight attendant if my wife and I might not together, she refused, saying they weren't going to give us a free upgrade. When we went to drop off our bags for the next leg of the flight, from Brussels to Dulles, the bag check counters we're severely understaffed and we waited almost an hour just to drop off two suitcases. This made us nearly miss our flight and required us to sprint through the airport and beg to cut the security line. After boarding, my entertainment screen stopped working, though they did manage to fix it a couple of hours into the flight. Needless to say, this was less then a stellar experience."

Nadelen: "food"

Nadelen: "2 hours late. No food included no device for movies and my carry on was checked in"

Voordelen: "Je n ai jamais pris air canada ni à l aller ni au retour . Les avions ont été annulés , je n ai pas été prévenu et ils m ont mis sur d autres compagnies . Un enfer"

Voordelen: "Crew. Entertainment. Food. Leg room was a bit longer than usual."
Nadelen: "I was unable to pre-order a kosher meal through the web site. Customer service could barely write in legible English and in essence told me to take a hike. Flight was bumpy both ways for quite a while. What's the point of giving me a boarding pass in Tel Aviv if I need to go to the United transfer counter in Brussels and go through the process again, including a TSA (friendly) interrogation?"

Voordelen: "Friendly crew, decent food, good entertainment options to make the flight feel shorter."

Nadelen: "United Airlines portion of the flight from Brussels to IAD. My wife and I were seated in separate parts of the plane each in middle seats at the end of the boarding process when there was no longer any overhead room to store our belongings. Uncaring, unaccommodating crew, waiting area with not enough seats, and cramped seating on the plane with no possibility of sleep during an arduous seven hour flight."

Voordelen: "Excellent service and a safe flight."

Voordelen: "Smooth and seamless travel, great seats and punctual departure and arrival."

Nadelen: "Tout le monde a eu trop froid Quant au repas servi, un paquet de 30g de biscuits apéritif c est inadmissible, nous n avions pas diner ."

Nadelen: "On nous facture 200$ pour des bagages qui n arrivent pas à destination, et que personne ne localise au même endroit, on nois a laissé sans solution pour les affaires que nous avons du remplacer à nos frais. De plus, une fois livrée, on ne nous previens pas ( dépose à l hôtel sans signature) je n ai pas pu faire constater qu on m a abimé mon vélo pendant le trajet"

Nadelen: "Niets"

Nadelen: "Kayak dropped the ball with the last leg connection.. or somebody did..."

Voordelen: "-"

Nadelen: "Nous avons seulement eu deux petites collations pour un vol de 10 heures."

Voordelen: "Vêry pleasant flight."
Nadelen: "Nothing"

Nadelen: "Peu d'espace pour le confort."

Voordelen: "Everything"

Nadelen: "Trail mix was gross, the child sitting next to me spilled her soda all over my pants and throughout the flight kept purposely touching even after I and her mother told her to stop."

Voordelen: "Le fait que ce vol soit opéré par Air Canada"
Nadelen: "Le vol annulé pour cause do'rages, alors que d'autres avions décollait, et qu'aucune compensation, ni solution soit trouvé pour compenser. Cette expérience est juste inimaginable !"

Voordelen: "We were upgraded to business class. Everything was excellent! Seats were extremely comfortable. Flight attendants took great care of us!"

Nadelen: "poor food no special care for kids as by other companies no entertainment system available"

Nadelen: "Even though I have an account with United, and confirmed that I was a vegetarian both online, and on the flight heading to Europe, my meal wasn't entered. It worked out really well because I was sitting close to the front and they had pasta dishes available, but this is not the first time that United and its partners have "lost" or "mishandled" my vegetarian registration. The flight attendant even remarked that sadly, she hears this 'complaint' constantly. The food was good, but there's no reason that my meal request can't stay in the system."

Voordelen: "Personnel dans l'ensemble très agréable, enregistrement des bagages très simple et personnel aidant"
Nadelen: "Personnel juste avant l'embarquement très désagréable et hautain avec une autre famille, une attitude plus courtoise aurait été plus professionnelle et nettement plus adaptée"

Voordelen: "I wasn't so cramped this trrip"
Nadelen: "Took forever to land freaked me out a lil bit"

Nadelen: "United was unorganized and they acted as if these cancellations were no big deal. Those two days that we missed could have been spent at work. Now I have wasted PTO time that I can't get back and wasted money at our resort that I wasn't able to get back. One of the agents at Bradley International Airport Sammy put her hands on my friend and screamed in her face USING FOUL LANGUAGE with a line full of people and their children waiting to check in. It was unprofessional and uncalled for. We did get police and management involved. The overall experience was terrible."

Voordelen: "Professional, courteous flight crew. Uneventful flight. When flying at 37000 feet over an ocean, uneventful is a very good thing! :) Deboarding on arrival was quick and efficient."
Nadelen: "My headphone jack in the seat was broken but they offered to relocate me to a seat that worked. I stayed put and used the United app on my phone."

Voordelen: "Rien"
Nadelen: "Mêmes commentaires que pour le trajet IAD-IAH, a l'exception que l'enfant mineur à pu voyager dansce segment avec son père."

Voordelen: "Rien"
Nadelen: "Le fait que malgré que nous étions une famille de 4 personnes sous la même réservation et avec un enfant mineur (10 ans), nous avons été tout le temps séparés et le mineur à même du faire ce trajet toute seule avec 2 autres passagers inconnus à ses côtés. Inadmissible ! En plus, état de propreté des sièges laisse beaucoup à désirer. Finalement: nourriture payante + divertissement payant !"

Voordelen: "Sièges classe économique assez comfortable pour un long courrier."
Nadelen: "Etat de propreté de l'avion. Beaucoup de salissures dans et autour des sièges."

Nadelen: "Sit in the last row and wait for the food"

Voordelen: "lots of good movie choices"
Nadelen: "touch screens didn't always work easily"

Voordelen: "I liked that the flight was on time"
Nadelen: "I did not like the absence of much food for breakfast on economy"

Voordelen: "Flight and experience were great."
Nadelen: "I would expect when I book a Luftansa flight to fly in a Luftansa jet. This flight was carried by United and I did not know that until I arrived at the airport."

Nadelen: "I chose Luthansa because I was traveling with a bike and they are usually good about not overcharging however after booking the flight, United took over the flight and they have very unfriendly bike policies (200 each way). Usually I will not fly United because of these policies, I think I am done flying any Star Alliance companies."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "This was a mess as the attendants didn't not have my transfer ticket It took them for ever till the last minute when was called by the Microphone"

Voordelen: "Prima vlucht van Honolulu naar LA in moderne Boeing 737-900 van alle gemakken voorzien."

Voordelen: "Even in economy plus, I felt like a first class passenger."

Voordelen: "the service and aircraft were excellent"
Nadelen: "space between seat"

Voordelen: "In flight entertainment was great with lots of variety (good for an 8 hour fight)."
Nadelen: "There were always lines for the toilets. Limited leg room. Food was meh."
