I had booked vegetarian meal option when I booked tickets, but by the time they got to my seat, I was told there is no more veggie meal left.. it happened with both dinner and breakfast. I asked the flight attendant to substitute some fruits for the egg, so that I can eat something. They said at 30000 feet altitude, the options were limited. I told him, so are my options limited, and running out of veggie food is not my problem, when I had booked veggie meal at 30000 feet and a flight duration of 16 hours. The attitude of one flight attendant "Ahmed" was horrible. He was never helpful, mean to passengers and would not offer any solution to any problem... I was travelling with an infant, and he refused to fill a bottle of water to prepare milk, and said that I had to wait until they finished their ongoing service.."

Voordelen: "My mother was the passenger Emirates & was her first experience flying alone, but having airline assistance. She marveled at their service & at every consideration to make flying alone as a senior seamless & worry-free. She was so happy of their thoughtfulness for carrying her luggage, driving her wheelchair, checking in for her w/her passport & picking up her luggage at the baggage round, that she tipped him $20. She made us sure that she would LOVE to fly alone back home again to the PH without us as long as she has airline assistance. A hint for us! She also liked how there was more foot room for economy seats than in Delta & EvaAir for this long trip & it helped her stretch her legs, as well as, the little Emirates pocket bag they give w/ear plugs & a eye mask with socks."

Nadelen: "The first flight was late by over an hour and nobody could tell us why. They also serve food once and you don't get a snack or anything--you don't even see the attendants--for another 10 hours. Then they serve breakfast close to an hour before landing. The crew is constantly telling you to sit as if you weren't allowed to use the toilet at all when the seatbelt sign is on--and it's on the whole time. So you have to be asking permission to use the toilet when you are right next to the toilet door and about to go in because they don't allow you to use it. That's not healthy for someone to hold it."

Filed a report at Frankfurt Airport but it was filled with all my essentials and some valuables and the airport staff didnt seem to concerned in helping me.... To clarify, my experience through Kayak has been fine! However this whole ordeal has left a very sour taste in my mouth...i still dont have my luggage. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

Nadelen: "Very little legroom. When the person in front of my reclined, I wasn't even able to open my tray all the way to eat. Flight was delayed for takeoff, that wasn't the airline's fault (air traffic) so that didn't factor in my review. Although the food is generally tasty, the dessert could be upgraded. I flew on 4 Turkish Airline flights this year and have never finished a dessert as I've not liked any of them. The bathrooms should be cleaned mid-flight for a 13 hour flight. It started out great but towards the middle of the flight, the bathrooms got really disgusting."

Voordelen: "came home with 2 broken bags, hard to talk to anybody, emailing back and forth since then to replace them, so far offered much cheaper bags and om top of this, a lot of paper work needed to claim those 2 cheaper replacement !!!"

Nadelen: "I had to ask a neighboring passenger if her would allow me 20mins of my flight without his rear end in my face. He was a fairly large man and constantly bending over in the isle to chat with his family. His infant was being attended to by his wife who constantly paced around to shake the baby (I'm sure the baby was annoyed as well). The baby finally spat up on the floor and seat. Everyone in the family could not sit still more than 5mins at a time, jumping up, moving around, switching seats, passing items. The men turned the area into a social scene/bar. I was too distracted by all this activity hovering over me to enjoy reading or relaxing. I constantly had rear ends in my face, and I constantly had to dodge and lean in my seat. The aforementioned tall man even had the nerve to fold away my television monitor when I dozed off so that it would not be an obstruction for his activity. By then I'd had enough. The This flight was terrible. Non of the staff requested better conduct or mindfulness of the other passengers. I believe the airline should strongly consider having a separate space for large families, families with babies, or at least have a code of conduct to which passengers should respect for the sake of every paying customer's ability to enjoy such a long flight."

Nadelen: "Starting with the check-in process. It's the 21st century, people should be able to check in electronically. I was traveling with one other person. For whatever reason the seats were not next to eachother. Flying to Munich they were nice enough to look for seats next to eachother, to no avail. Not this time around. The check in line was horrendous, security was horrendous, and the gate process could not have been worse. The service was bad. Requests for water took 15+ minutes to be fulfilled. I also noticed there were not enough non-beef meals on the plane for those who requested with it. Then we landed and the nightmare...continued. Taxiing took 40 minutes. They brought us to three different gates before finally disembarking onto the Tarmac."

It arrived back to Salt Lake late causing the Dallas flight to leave late. I got a message at 6:24 pm regarding the late departure for the 8:15 pm flight to Dallas. They knew this info hours before. It should have been communicated sooner"

Nadelen: "No available SkyTeam lounge unless you had a business class ticket. As a Diamond flier, I can always access the SkyTeam lounges. Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."
Voordelen: "I appreciated that Delta was on time and prompt about getting passengers onboard. I appreciated that the stewardess was very courteous. I appreciated that there was no delay."
Nadelen: "There was nothing that I did not like. I had a previous bad experience with another airline that canceled my flight three days in a row. So I was very appreciative of the fact that Delta had available flights for me to leave."

Nadelen: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Ensuite reacheminement en bus ou taxi pour les plus chanceux. Sans qu’on nous donne le moindre repas. Pourtant atterrissage prévu initialement vers 11h. La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

Nadelen: "Flight way delayed 3 hours. Staff gave no information and wouldn't help rebook us onto other flights. They gave us food vouchers 2 minutes before we finally boarded, so we couldn't use them. The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."

Nadelen: "Amsterdam customs is the most disorganized I have ever seen. With the number of tourists entering the country you would think they would have done something about it. There were only 2 customs agents!! One for all passports and 1 for all passports. We were in the customs hall longer than we were in flight!"
Voordelen: "It was so easy to board and I had no inconvenience. It took 4 minutes from when I said goodbye to my family till when I was at the front of the gate."

Nadelen: "After status flyers boarded first, general boarding call was for all remaining passengers together! First time in my experience a full wide-body aircraft boarding was not by row. Predictably, the process was slow and chaotic. Last minute switch from a 777 to an older, non-refurbished 747-400. Entertaiment system contents are still great, but the screen is dim and outdated by today's standards. But I would just fill this as luck of the draw."

Nadelen: "The crew seemed quite stressed, when I asked to store my wedding dress in the crew closet they were very short with me, which made me feel really guilty about it, as the stewardess obviously thought I was very troublesome, but they did allow it. The food was quite bland. The entertainment was much more limited than most international flight lines."

I am still in Riga waiting for the morning to schedule another ride home. Very long , inconvenient trip ;-("
Voordelen: "World best airline since my last flight to Hong Kong. New aircraft with the most confortable and complete flight experience I had in years in economy class. Seat confort, movie selection and quality of the screen, food quality, boarding speed, cabine pressure, all was immaculate."
Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."

Nadelen: "If I'm paying for a trans-atlantic flight (at a fee of $1,000), I shouldn't be stuck on a plane that is used for domestic flights,and thus does not have the space nor the comfort of a larger plane. And, if this flight is not going to offer the amenities accustomed to a typical trans-atlantic flight (such as in-seat TV), then the price should be substantially cheaper. I will be complaining to the airline itself for this, and may not fly this airline again."

Nadelen: "When flying from US to Erupoe there should be a private tv screen directly in front of every passenger. On this flight the tv is in the middle of the isle on the ceiling. That's terrible ! When you are on a 8 + hour flight. People want their own screen with their own options. Been on many flights to and from Eruope , this was the only flight that was set up like this. Change it"

Nadelen: "Still can't figure out what time to check in to get seat I wanted: 27 hrs before the flight there were no good seats, while the instruction told you could check in only 24 hrs before the flight !!!"

Nadelen: "I was able to roll the blanket into a cushion to put under my thighs so that my hips didn't press into the chair seat. It made the 10 hours bearable."

Voordelen: "The flight over to England was serviced by British Air and was awesome. The flight back was serviced by American Air. The American flight crew seemed tired and the food was not as good as British Air, but Finnair provided an excellent price."
Nadelen: "The plane was full, and crowded. Iberia (which was the company in charge of the flight) charged 40 euros simply to choose a seat! I found that incredible."
Nadelen: "The plane was not the plane that was on the itinerary when I placed my order, it was very old did not even have fans above the seats. The movie selection was terrible. It was so hot, that by the end of our flight my wife and I both had swelled ankles. The staff was very unpleasant. We were on our honeymoon and it could not have started on a worse note. It was 10 hours of hell. I would never fly with Finair again. The flight back was the same. We could not be more disappointed."
