Voordelen: "The flight was SO OLD and uncomfortable which is absolutely ridiculous for a 16 hour flight. My screen did not work the entire time despite asking flight attendants to fix the issue. The flight attendant would not attend to me despite me pressing the button and twice skipped me while giving out meals. I had to call them back and ask for it. The bathrooms were SO dirty and yet no flight attendant took out the trash or cleaned it even though we are in the midst of a pandemic. We were also not given hygiene kits to keep ourselves safe. DO NOT FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE."

The bread was not gluten free on this meal so I couldn't eat it. Unlike the first leg of my journey this meal didn't have my name or seat number on. I feel like it was put together once I asked where my meal was. Snacks offered but not gluten free so was very hungry from previous flight."

Voordelen: "The flight from Johannesburg to Dubai on an Airbus A380 was the best , the return was on the 777ER it's a bit older avoid it if you can, I prefer the a380 it's roomy, more comfortable and modern, the food was good, the cabin crew very helpful and friendly and both flights were on time. I'll be flying only Emirates from now on"

Nadelen: "This is my fourth time booking Emirates for my route through kayak. The route is longer but I choose it for on-board Internet for work emails. Generally, they have on-board WiFi Internet, however for my return route of 21 hours both flights had no wifi which was disappointing. This is unprofessional because if you are planning on having WiFi to respond to work emails and it is not available once you are already in the air there is nothing you could do but get stuck. Never does this happen with Lufthansa, Turkish, Etihad. Disappointing."

There is little leg room and the cushioning is not enough for a long distance flight. There is no boarding control. People just line up and get on the plane in any order."

Chez Swiss : impossible de réserver puisque j'ai réservé chez ANA... Repas franchement mauvais, rien de japonais, pas de chopsticks alors que la moitié des passagers étaient japonais. Divertissements : équipement vidéo d'un autre âge !"

Transfer desk was unable to get us to Bari same day although it was only noon; rebooked for 6:55am next day... Significant financial loss to us."

Nadelen: "Our flight to Zurich was canceled and we had to take 3 flights to get to San Diego instead of 2. It was a huge headache. None of our flights were even with Swiss."

Voordelen: "Throughout the long flight, the cabin crew was excellent. They were attentive and friendly. They avoided interrupting quiet time and rest time by keeping off the PA system (well done). The food was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get some business class tickets with points, and the food was amazing. Wine was excellent. This team was quite solicitous of my parent with reduced-mobility. And the bathrooms stayed clean throughout the flight. find this is often an areas where many airlines fall down. And it's too bad, because while I'm 100% sure it is no fun to clean a toilet while in flight, it is a really a big negative for the customers. Overall excellent attention to detail, with a cheerful and "can-do" crew that kept the plane "proper" throughout the flight and provided seamless service. Good stuff. Will fly again."

Ils nous font attendre debout pendant qu'ils sont au téléphone pour plus d'une demi heure à Dusseldorf et à Zurich, et encore dans l'avion, retardé pour décoller."

Nadelen: "The check in process for Delta was a chaotic mess. There was no one to assist passengers, lines were crazy long. I overheard so many people complaining about missing flights and they could not get any help. I also think the amount Delta charges for luggage was insane."

Nadelen: "Travelling to Lagos constitute of about 75% Nigerian, it would have been better in term of entertainment to include films and music from Nigeria or African in your entertainment list"

Kinda curious how you forgot to load a plane with food for purchase and how did the crew not notice in advance? I would think that is one of their checks of the cabin. Not mention who ever signed off saying they filled the plane with food for purchase lied. Very frustrating not only for the crew but for the passengers."

Nadelen: "I couldn’t watch a movie and I couldn’t fall asleep because the the person in front of me had a light on."

Voordelen: "Delay. First it was about 20 min, then 30, then 49 and 55. At the end more than 70 minutes delay. Too much, too frequent on delta!!!!"

Nadelen: "Late pickup, then no gate at stopover causing is to miss our flight as we sat on the tarmac. Got on next flight, 5 hours later, the literal last row of the plane right in front of the bathroom, you know, those seats that don't recline? Travelling with a cranky two year old, made pains to select seats for maximum child comfort and it all flew out the window. Arrived at destination and sat, again, waiting for a gate. Signed up for sky miles previously based on good experiences, but this was one lane thing after another. Advice? Don't act like you're doing me a favor when asking people to check bags cause then it's "free"."

Voordelen: "The gate agent and cabin crew handled passenger's misery with friendly grace and professionalism. Also, it was an old plane and so the seats, even in coach, were comfortable."
Nadelen: "Plane was around 45 minutes late in arriving at our Minneapolis gate. Flight was further delayed by something (unspecified) being "frozen." WORST part was that the temperature in the seating area at the gate was horribly cold. Departing passengers at a neighboring gate were bound for Fargo and sat with their parkas on and with parka hoods up. We Houston-bound had packed our coats & boots and were shivering. Then when we finally boarded the crew announced that the plane's water system was broken and so we would have no hot coffee or hot tea or hot anything. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."

Nadelen: "I can't understand why I was booked with an impossibly tight connection. It's a huge airport, with multiple security checkpoints with long lines. I had an hour between flights, and the first flight landed just five minutes late. The gate for the second flight had already closed by the time I cleared the first security checkpoint. It would have been completely impossible to make it to the gate on time. Turkish put me up in a hotel, etc., for the night, and there were dozens of people in similar situations. But the airline shouldn't offer connections that are totally impossible."

Nadelen: "I contacted Turkish Airlines 4x times before my flight to learn how to deal with excess medical baggage, mobility assistance, and meal assistance. The Customer Call Center claimed to have made all of my necessary reservation updates for all of my special meal, medical, and mobility assistance needs. They did not! When I arrived at Check-In, there were no notes about any of my requests, nor services prepared to facilitate them. I spent over 30-45 minutes escalating the situation to the Shift Manager who had to contact the central call center and her own manager, just to find out what to do about medical baggage, what's permitted, etc. I was embarrassed for their employees, who not only didn't know their own company policy on the matter, nor were they aware of the industry standard. After much arguing, yelling and threats, the Check-In desk agents finally allowed my excess medical baggage and equipment without extra charge. I still received no mobility assistance to begin my travel after Check-In to my departure gate, nor were they prepared to offer this to me in Istanbul. Again, after a long wait, much yelling, screaming, and arguing, I was finally provided mobility assistance just in time for my flight. I almost missed my flight due to Turkish Airlines not putting my request in the system, nor caring enough about the traveler to do so at Check-In. When I arrived in Belgrade, 3x pieces of my luggage were destroyed and unusable again, medical equipment was damaged, and I filed a claim with Turkish Airlines. They tried every way possible not to pay, but finally offered a meager claim, nothing close to what it cost for the damage caused or to repair or replacement the destroyed luggage or medical equipment. Turkish Airlines is the Grey Hound of travel, sure they might be large, offer many itineraries and frequent travel, but their quality, customer service and professionalism leave them amongst the bottom feeders, still 3rd world in mentality, form and function. No honor, no integrity, no class. No reason to ever fly with Turkish again, and I'm happy to tell everyone I know not to fly with them!"

The hotel Turkish Airlines put us in had terrible food and was so isolated that you could not walk to a restaurant. This airline was the lowest price, but I will definitely be looking for a different way for my next trip."

At the gate, we (30+ people) were told that there are no more seats available on the plane and we have to go to their customer service for another flight. There are no Turkish Airline staff at the gate to explain why this would happen and provide any assistance. We spend the next 2 hours trying to get boarding pass for the next day's flight and the hotel. Again, no apologies nor explanation were given. Thank you Turkish Airline for wasting 1 day of my life. I will try to avoid this airline in the future."

They change our flight from Houston to LA without giving us any choice because they are over booked with 30 passengers and on top gave us longer flight instead of sending us closer to our destination. They lost our bags and discover in LA that most of Turkish airlines passengers lost one of their bags too. we miss our flight from LA to Houston because of bad organizations and We had to sleep in LA one night so to take second day fight to Houston. So bad so frustrating never use Turkish airlines again."

There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"
