This is something we do every flight we take with no issue, but despite the gate agent confirming that the items would meet us on the jetway, when we landed, we were informed that we would need to pick them up in baggage claim. This meant that instead of having our infant sleeping in his car seat as we spent an hour + going through customs, we had to carry a crying baby around the entire time. In addition to the fact that we asked the gate agent told us the wrong thing, instead of being handled with care, the stroller and car seat were sent down the baggage claim carousel with all of the other bags, getting banged up. This was incredibly frustrating and a terrible customer service experience."

They supposedly had entertainment that you could watch on your phone or tablet, but it was only tv shows as well?!"

Pas de nettoyage des toilettes pendant les 12heures de vol. Les hôtesses étaient trop occupées à papoter à l’arrière de l’avion. En tant de covid c’est inadmissible. Je ne recommande pas cette compagnie et ne la prendrais plus jamais !"

Nadelen: "The check in agents with Iberia airlines in Porto were rude, the. told me only when I arrived that I could not carry on “camping backpacks”, so I would have to check it for an additional 40 euro to check it.. despite saying they’d be happy to check “carry on” free of charge.. I’ve never had a problem with my backpack before, and it fits well within the size restrictions and easily fits in the overhead.. then they were unable to transfer my bag that I payed 40 euro to check, to my connecting flight. Therefore I had to wait two days to receive my luggage at my final destination in Rome.. Overall a really mediocre and frustrating experience."

Nadelen: "Missed my transfer in London because the plane took too long to unboard and I was unable to make it to the gates of my next flight in time, despite there being over an hour connection time. The flight came in slightly late and passports were re-inspected upon unboarding which wasted a lot of time, and Heathrow is a nightmare of an airport on a good day, which made it very difficult to get where I needed to go."

There is no complimentary food service, even water is charged."

I certainly wouldn’t chose to fly them again if I had an alternative tho they are better than that horror Vueling whose seats were so close together that I was unable to sit with my legs straight because the leg room was so little."

Nadelen: "Air Canada induced errors Caused a need to interact with airport staff in Toronto Pearson. Staff were RUDE and completely ambivalent. They simply did not care. The area was grossly understaffed. The staff present were incompetent. Will never fly them again."
Voordelen: "Overall, flight are great. Watched two movies for free. Staff was attentive."

Nadelen: "Boarding took forever. There was a child that screamed the entire way. Wish flight staff was trained on calming children, even though I know it was just bad planning on the parents. Also wish there was a hygiene policy. Half the flight was not wearing deodorant, and you could tell."

Voordelen: "The crew was always as good as can be expected BUT THE DELAYS AND LACK OF COMMUNICATION WAS THE ACTUAL LOWEST LEVEL OF AIR FLIGHT WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. TIME AFTER TIME DELAY AFTER DELAY RESULTING IN MISSED FLIGHTS BOTH WAYS!!!"
Nadelen: "PLEASE SEE WHAT WE DID LIKE HOWEVER AGAIN TO REPEAT THE NUMBER OF DELAYS RESULTING IN MISSED FLIGHTS WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND BELIEVABLE. NO COMMUNICATION BETWEEN GATE AGENTS AND INCORRECT INFO ON FLIGHTS AND DEPARTURE TIMES WAS TRULY BEYOND BELIEF"
Voordelen: "They allowed us to make an earlier connection without any fee. That was very kind. Thank you."
Nadelen: "I could not get a seat assignment or a boarding pass for my connecting flight"
Voordelen: "Pillow, blanket, food provided. Inexpensive flight. Great crew and smooth flight."
Nadelen: "2 hour delay, lack of connecting ticket made me have to go through security all over again, the "entertainment" is an app for your smartphone/tablet."

Voordelen: "Flight Attendants went out of their way to treat us like customers throughout the journey. Something other Western airlines have completely forgotten how to do."
Nadelen: "flight was delayed getting into the gate by another Air Canada flight that was at the gate still. Almost caused me to miss my flight to Houston when I arrived in Toronto. Very bad since my layover in Vancouver was a very long 7 hours. Once in the airport, the help there was minimal and not very friendly."
Nadelen: "My bag was delayed and I end up paying to buy a pant from sports chek and now when I am trying to connect with Air Canada flight to make a claim, they are not even responding to my request."

Nadelen: "it was fine. I was pleasantly surprised after the first leg of my trip from Seattle to Toronto, where the staff were much less professional."

Nadelen: "Everything. Plane was ready to leave on time but had a delay of almost an hour due to construction in Toronto. Connecting flight was held in Toronto and despite getting to gate almost an hour before departure, they changed passengers to another flight causing total delay of four hours. Air Canada staff were indifferent and uncaring. Unfortunately with no real choice in airlines to Newfoundland we are stuck with Air Canada."
Voordelen: "Service, entertainment and comfort were the best features about flying first class when we had actually bought a regular fare ticket!"
Nadelen: "Crew wasn't helpful and attentive, boarding staff in Toronto were blatantly rude to me, I watched as my luggage got handled aggressively, the plane was dirty with old food crumbs and such, my flight to Windsor got cancelled and accomadations were not met sufficiently."

Nadelen: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"
Nadelen: "Small spaces for legs, dinner taste... No tv screen in the seata back"
Voordelen: "Everything excep boarding on return flight."
Nadelen: "Delay on return & boarding was really slow! Not sure if it was the computers or attendants."
Voordelen: "Customer service was bad. I had to wait long line to check in bags. they took like 20 minutes to handle one transaction. I had to line up some where else to pay cash for my baggage after I checked in my bags. When I lined up somewhere else, a lady told me her computer was down and her printer was not working and told me to go to the next line. I lined up and waited for 20 minutes on the next line. after she finished, she told me to wait for one minute. I told her i can't wait or i would be late for the flight. she helped me and when i realized if i lined at immigration i would miss the flight. i was smart enough to ask for passengers in front of the line to let me cut. i was lucky enough they let me and i made it through."
Voordelen: "Screen for each seat with movie and TV options. Seating was comfortable and had adequate space."
Nadelen: "Only drinks were offered, no snack. There was food available for purchase, but no snack item provided."
Voordelen: "The fact that the airline offered meal vouchers and still attempted to fly to Toronto instead of cancelling the flight."
Nadelen: "Although due to weather related problems. Unfortunately it made the flight delay way too long and not a good experience."
Voordelen: "I liked that they were quick and nice service."
Nadelen: "No games for entertainment."
Voordelen: "Clean plane, attentive efficient staff, easy boarding."
Nadelen: "Flight staff forgot to pass out customs forms upon landing in Toronto - caused some confusion at customs entry."
Voordelen: "No protection from noise. Gave up watching movies."
Nadelen: "Better earphone"
Nadelen: "The two meals served on board were cheap. Very small portions and cheap containers were used."
Voordelen: "Boarding was quick and easy. I pretty much slept the whole way, so I can't tell you much about the crew or anything else."
Nadelen: "The movies and shows were great, but the machine was super slow. I also had to hold my headphones only halfway into the jack or else it would not work properly. It also was surprising to hear that headphones and blankets were extra. The plane was pretty cold, and paying for these extra fees for a family of 3 (or more for others) really adds up! Our family had two check-in bags, and rather than being charged $25 each, we were charged $25+$35 even though the bags were in two different family member names."
Voordelen: "Flight had lots of empty seats, so it was easier to get comfortable. Flight attendants were kind and helpful."
Nadelen: "In air entertainment is supposedly through an app, so I can't speak to the quality because by the time I was in he plane I didn't have service to download it. It makes for a pretty long flight overseas when you have no movies to occupy you."
Voordelen: "The plane didn't crash."
Nadelen: "We were dehydrated and the flight attendants were stingy with WATER."
Nadelen: "5 hour delay. Didn't get the correct seat."
Voordelen: "Most things where fine. Food decent for airline food, slight delay in boarding but still made our connection."
Nadelen: "Tried to signal stewards for another beverage but got no response. Lack of customer service."
Nadelen: "This was the worse travel experience I have ever had. The crew was rude and gave wrong information that caused me to almost miss my flight. My ticket in the end ending costing me over $600 for all the additional charges. It was ridiculous. Among other things. I will never fly with them again."
Voordelen: "The flight was right on time, which meant that we made our connection to London with time to spare, and our checked bags made the connection, too."
Nadelen: "Air Canada canceled our originally booked flight and substituted a terrible connection. But we contacted viama and suggested an alternative, which viama got Air Canada to accept. So, in the end, everything worked out beautifully."

Voordelen: "I didn’t like a thing! I cancel that flight a month ago, you said your were going to pay me back but I haven’t receive my fund. I have been back in America for month. Everyday I call nobody pick the phone or I’ll be on hold for hours until I hangup"

Im really sad that I will have to have the same night flight back to Houston."

Nadelen: "Trop de délai itnutile. L'embarquement a été décalé de 5h! Le WIFI est payant à Chicago et la bouffe coûte chère pour de la mauvaise qualité. Le retard est du parce qu'il n'y avait pas d'avion, personne nous dit pourquoi. Finalement, on embarque et apres avoir attendu 30 min, on nous désembarque parce que l'Avion n'était pas prêt, l'équipe d'entretien n'était pas disponible! finalement, on rembarque pour de bon mais on a attendu un autre 30 min sans nous dire pourquoi. L'équipage fait comme si tout était normal mais on voit par la fenêtre qu'il y un camion de service qui essait de réparer de quoi derrière l'avion. On nous fait embarquer alors que rien n'est prêt. La personne qui s'occupait des baggages a pris 20 minutes apres notre embarquement avant de s'amener. C'était extrêment désorganisé."
