The Kayak website is excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to use it again - $1,000 cheaper for the flight from Moscow to Singapore than what I could get direct from Singapore Airlines! Nadelen: "J class seat, 12A window. Top of my seat curled around my sides, which blocked vision thru 1.5 of the 3 windows I had access to. The enclosure also protuded into my left bicep when I had my elbow resting on the arm rest. Table on my right hand side was too close to my body, and to high to reach a drink easily, I literally had to lift my whole right arm to pick up a glass."

Voordelen: "Seats in economy were larger than United. Food was good for airplane food, even found a last minute vegetarian meal not ordered ahead. Appreciated a gratis glass of wine. Found a clean pillow and blanket in every seat upon boarding."
Nadelen: "My screen had to be reset twice as it froze up. The attendants kept taking my water cups despite them not being empty. Boarding was less than organized, could have been more efficient. We made up time, arriving a few minutes early even after departing late."

Singapore Air still pampers its travellers by providing hot towels for refreshment. Something that I don't enjoy while flying on other airlines. Keep up the good job."
Nadelen: "I saw a scotch tape taping over the arm of the seat! This is rather amusing and seems unacceptable. This is Singapore Air that we are talking about. Are we saying that Singapore Air do not have any proper repair kit to fix it without using scotch tape?? Being one of the world's 5-star airline, I think Singapore Airline can do better than that. :)"

Voordelen: "Just as previous reviews mentioned, this is a top notch airline even when flying coach. The staff was courteous and attentive, the food was good and the flight overall was comfortable. I'd fly with Singapore again in a heartbeat."

Voordelen: "For medium range flights SQ uses A330s. Business class is really OK, not great. Each passenger can freely choose any configuration of the seat without inconveniencing others. Food is great, both in presentation and taste, and serve with refined courtesy... I will gladly fly on this aircraft again on my way back."
Nadelen: "The entertainment system has literally hundreds of choices -- many, many movies for all tastes under the sky. But there is one drawback. Each movie starts, not when you are ready, but when the system is ready ; you cannot pause, resume it, no fast-forward..."

Voordelen: "I loved the touch of luxury, even sitting in the economy , the hot towels, the good food , attractively prepared , the free wine and the courtesy of all the team. This was my third time flying with Singapore Airlines and I hope not the last time. The big plane flew so quietly, it was a wonderful flight."
Nadelen: "Like in all airplanes in economy the seats are too close , but when you cannot afford to fly differently it was okay, there was at least leg room."

Nadelen: "first thing i never had a clue that this would be a 2 stop trip. its ridiculous to get down at hong kong and then start again. even while going to blore, had to get down at seoul. its very tiring to do all the checkin and security. the food was monotonous. i only had okra for 2 of my meals. it was not tasty and no variety entertainment for wold cinema(Indian) is very very poor"

Voordelen: "The boarding process is smooth with boarding group allocation. Entertainment is not really bad with variety of choice l. The new earphone is better so passenger can sleep without removing the head phone Flight attendants are very friendly and helpful."

Voordelen: "The flight attendants do a great job of making this long flight as comfortable as possible. The check-in process was smooth and effortless, as was checking and retrieving my luggage. The attendants also went out of their way to make sure that I received a vegetarian meal, even though it wasn't marked on my ticket."
Nadelen: "I had a little trouble figuring out how to mark my meals as vegetarian when I bought a ticket, so for both of my flights I had to specially request vegetarian meals. I was told they may not be able to accommodate, which was frustrating. However, they managed to find food for me without any problems, so it worked out in the end."

Voordelen: "Flight attendants are elegant, movies are on point , service is impeccable."

Voordelen: "The flight was very smooth with little turbulence overall. Food was delicious. The timing of the food seemed just right. They came by with drink refills often. Overall the customer service is top notch. The movie selection in the entertainment system was great -- I did not lack for anything to watch; if anything I almost wished I had more time to watch everything that interested me!"
Nadelen: "Although they're not unique among airlines in this regard, seats in economy are cramped and uncomfortable (especially for those of us with long legs; I'm 5'11" and my boyfriend is 6'2"). What did seem different about SA compared to other airlines is that for some reason the seatbacks are very stiff and it's hard to recline your chair. Also, the entertainment system was a bit unreliable -- twice for some reason it rewound me more than an hour back in the movie I was watching (so I had to fast-forward to the place where I was)."

Nadelen: "Checking in, they asked for certain number of miles to upgrade. I offered it. Then at the last minute they came and said their system didn't accept American moles. For a daily if their system, they denied service to passenger. This is the second time with them. Last time when another airline missed connection and this time a ticket that I purchased. Doubt if I would, again."

Voordelen: "On demand entertainment systems seem standard, as I’ve flown Qatar several times and always had it. Friendly staff. And Doha is a great connection airport."

Tout s'est bien dérouler pour un vol de 9h50. C'est sur qu'on aurait aimé plus , mais cela vient avec le prix qu'on prêt a payer. Somme toute un bon voyage"
Nadelen: "Le manque d'espace , mais il me semble que s'est pire avec d'autres transporteurs. Dormir ou essayer de dormir dans un avion, un vraie aventure, de toute façon."

Voordelen: "Cet avion un B--777 avait plus d’espace pour les jambes, ce qui fut fortement apprécie.. Ce n'était pas le cas pour les épaules, surtout si le voisin est le moindrement corpulent ou un peu hors norme, ce qui n'est pas mon cas, ni celui de mon épouse."
Nadelen: "Dormir dans un avion ou essayé d'y dormir est une sacrifice que je ne suis plus prêt a payer . Dorénavant, je me contenterai de de distance ne dépassant 7-9-heures"

Voordelen: "I love the smiley flight attendant , especially for long distance flight. It would make it better trip to have smiley and helpful flight attendant. The meals provided by QA is good. it would be better with more fresh fruit on every meals."

Voordelen: "The flight got delayed for 4.5 hours. We didnt receive any call, sms or email informing us about the delay. We went to the airport for checkin only to discover that it was delayed! No justification or any reason were given to us. We are travelling with a baby. We had to get a taxi to return to our home and return back to the airport after 4.5 hours. Called qatar airways and send them a xomplaint email. No one cared to answer. The worst flight ever. Will never go with qatar airways anymore"

Nadelen: "Long flight on a 777-200. Crowded aircraft, crew not very attentive to call light, and food mediocre at best. Entertainment service was horrible, old movies and typical Qatar Airline selection of Bollywood films (Expected when flying from Doha, but not New Zealand!) Seat would not recline, but no option to move to another isle seat."

Nadelen: "No internet service on long international flight. Boarding process for business class could be better."

Nadelen: "The flight departure from Dar was moved up an hour and the congestion at the airport made it close. Also I need a name tag on a checked piece of luggage. When I asked, I was told that none were available. The check in person was not pleasant or helpful. I also had to watch to make sure that the luggage labels were attached to be sure that they would make it to Chicago. Once on the plane there was an unrudy boy sitting in front of us jumping in his seat, never wearing his seat belt kicking the seat, turning on the light beating on the tray table, calling the flight attendant. The adult ignored the child through the flight. It was one of the worse experiences I have had on a plane. I would have to think very hard before I fly Qatar again."

Voordelen: "The flight was on time. The crew was very accommodating. The food is better than some other airlines. The entertainment provided had a lot of choices I had an 8 1/2 hour layover in Doha. They booked me a short stay in a hotel at no extra charge. This included a car and driver to and from the hotel. It was a nice hotel close to the airport."
Nadelen: "I was sitting in economy. I booked too late to get any type of upgrade for extra legroom. For Economy it was OK, but cramped and hard to get comfortable on a 13+ hour flight."

Nadelen: "Meal service was very disappointing. 16 hour flight with one meal at the beginning, one meal at end, and a small, rather unappetizing hot pocket like sandwich in between? And snack offerings were ice cream, potato chips, candy bars and a few apples (ran out of apples). Need more healthy options. There needs to be a more full meal/snack offering around the half way mark if you are going to keep people from grumbling."

Voordelen: "Qatar is not glitzy. Better than that, it was straightforward and relaxed and comfortable. Crew was pleasant and helpful."

Nadelen: "Boarding was horrible with those disorganized people that keeps telling you please sit while waiting for the gate to open AND THERE IS NO SEAT (in front of the gate) SO THEY ASK YOU TO SIT WHAILE THE NEAREST SEAT THAT AVAILABLE ARE TO FAR AND THEY ARE ALL OCCUPIED."

Nadelen: "The screen of my seat and my mom ( sitting next to me) and the lady near the window stopped working after launching and we had to stair in the dark for eleven hours the flight attendant tried but couldn't fix it. The seat itself was broken and I had to put the bottom Cushing back every time I stand up.the cue to the rest room ( one off them has a broken lock so you can't lock it ) was very long and I had to wait for 25 minutes tell I got in ( the first time I waited too long standing in an air plane )"

It was uncomfortable In the flight Doha Phuket wi-fi did not work in the first economy sector. It was a big problem to us, it was necessary to go in the second part of the economy sector to stay over the wifi. The crew did not solve the issue."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed with no announcement from Muscat to Doha , way over priced compared to other carriers four time more expensive, outbound flight was on Al Maha with no entertainment. Like always short flight meal on Qatar Airways are bad"

Nadelen: "1 hour delay to begin with. Then trasfer area at Abu Dhabi was utter chaos. While it's suffocatingly crowded, there was no A.C! No vegetarian option for meal on the flight from Brussels to Abu Dhabi. The seats hurt by bottom. One of the worst flight seats ever. All in all, a totally underwhelming experience."

Voordelen: "The flight itself was good when it eventually left."
Nadelen: "Boarding was chaotic. There was another Virgin flight leaving Launceston at the same time so the lounge was very busy. Our flight was late while the other was on time and there were no announcements that our flight was delayed. The screen over the gate also did not show our flight details at any stage, even when it eventually boarded.. I'm familiar with Launceston airport so it was okay, but for someone not familiar, especially an international visitor, it would have been confusing as to which flight was which especially as no announcement or visual display was given that our flight was running late."

Nadelen: "Not happy with Etihad Checkin counter desk at Ho Chi Minh Airport. The person at the baggage drop off desk wasn't helphul at all. Being ignored for 30 minutes. I believe that this person needs to be trained in order to know who needs to be helped first as he worked at that particular counter for people who already Checkin online."

Some of the agents were novices After boarding some passengers couldn’t find place for their carry on a. They were rudley informed that they are carrying large carry ones and were threatened with deboatdong if they weren’t fast in finding alternate places for their bags"

Nadelen: "No staff officers to assist people like me who came on wheel chair. I was in the queaue for nearly 2 hours, Some of the counters were not manned at all."

Nadelen: "Horrible food and beverages The crew will never serve a Diet Coke with ice come what may. If asked a lot they will give you a tiny serving mostly without ice. They will never give you a meager can. Ublebeliavable."

Nadelen: "Our connection from NYC was missed due to delay in leaving Abu Dhabi. The NYC connection wasn't request to wait for us, maybe five minutes would have been enough. After that, they took no care to book in a latter flight. They assigned unconfirmed tickets, which were not honored in the other terminals. I was able to get a seat in the third flight after, others were still left waiting. It took us longer to get a 1.5 hours connecting flight than to cross the Atlantic."

Nadelen: "bags did not make it to final destination and were stuck in abu dhabi. we landed on sunday and did not get our bags until tuesday. we had a very long layover so unclear as to why our bags did not make it on to the flight. it was a big inconvenience"

Nadelen: "Small boarding lounge. Etihad has reserved the inferior boarding lounges for the flights to India. Boarding procedure was not well processed."

Voordelen: "Flight was comfortable and the A380 is super quiet. Cabin crew were helpful and friendly."
Nadelen: "Check in was a disaster with tickets issued in the wrong names. Also It wasn't until the night before flying we realised they'd booked our 3 month old daughter on a separate flight!"

Nadelen: "The food was bad. Requested for Asian Vegetarian Meal on Etihad website but was served the vegetarian option. I also heard a passenger complaining that she requested for a vegetarian food but was given a meal with chicken."

Voordelen: "I didn't like baggage handling. Took too long (over 1 hour 15 mins) to get bags onto conveyor belt."

Voordelen: "Sichuan Chicken was the best airline food i have ever eaten in an airline. it was quite impressive. Might be too spicy for a lot of people but i love it. I would advise that you add "spicy" next to the name for those who can't handle spicy food."
Nadelen: "Since i was travelling alone, it was asked to change my seat from an aisle seat to a fairly packed seat in the middle of the plane. i did them a favor because a son wanted to sit next to his dad. i really shouldn't have change. the seat was very cramped. like wow, the plane was small. i do not think i would do it again. ever."

Nadelen: "On flight, the staff seemed to care little for even the smallest of request. On a 15 hr flight from Abu Dabhi to Chicago, I asked twice for coffee, once for juice and once for sandwich, and each time the staff told me to wait, once they were busy, once they were going to serve food in 45 minutes and once the sandwich was put away (I repeat, "put away"). My wife asked for mango juice, and they said, they do not have any left, they only had apple and orange juice. Within 10 min when they replenished the cart, they had mango juice. It seems that they were just plain lazy to do even to cater to the smallest request."

Nadelen: "Toilets in business class were smelly. Not nice when you are washing your teeth. It is difficult to lean over the bowl and wash teeth. Cups are not provided to assist with washing teeth. Paper towels ran out in the toilets."

Nadelen: "We were sited in the 7th row (the row right before the emergency exit) and the chairs can't be moved, so, having the people in front of us with their chairs in the sleeping position and our seats all straight it was the most uncomfortable flight we were ever on."

Nadelen: "Old plane. Restrooms are showing age with misbehaving faucet taps"

Voordelen: "I slept most of the way, but what I noticed was a rather grumpy flight attendant. It was a quick flight, which is probably why she was in such a hurry, but she flew down the aisle with the drinks and missed me entirely. But I fell asleep so it didn't matter much."
Nadelen: "As I said, the harried rather grumpy manner of the flight attendant."

Nadelen: "The flight were delayed, I missed the next flight because of the delay, the crue in brussel offered to replace the missed flight by another flight which were six hours latter, they said their is no earlier flight.i had to wait for six hours in abu dabi .when I reached abu dhabi I found another flight earlier than that.i tried with Etihad transfer disc to go in the earlier flight , they said it is not showing on tgeir system despite it is theifr on airport screens.they even didnot offer any help or lounge or hotel for rest in next 6hours.and I was travelling 18 hours before that si I have to wsit additional 6 making total 24 hr bec. Of their delay. Problems No integrity , they should be more trueful and helpful rather than shifting problems to otheres"
